Brazilian professional footballer, Neymar, has publicly apologized to his pregnant girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi.
In an Instagram photo posted on Wednesday, June 21, the Paris Saint-Germain star shared a heartfelt message to his partner, admitting that he had made a mistake.
Neymar noted that he cannot imagine his life without his partner and promised to “try” to make their relationship work.
He acknowledged that he had already apologized for his mistakes but felt a sense of obligation to publicly reaffirm his apology. According to him, if a private matter has become public, then the apology should also be public.
“I made a mistake. I made a mistake with you. I dare say that I make mistakes every day, on and off the pitch. But I solve my mistakes in my personal life at home, in my intimacy with my family and my friends,” he said.
“Bru, I have already apologized for my mistakes, for the useless exposure, but I feel obliged to reaffirm it publicly. If a private matter has gone public, the apology should be made public.
“I can’t imagine myself without you. I don’t know if it will work between us, but TODAY you can be sure that I want to try. Our purpose will prevail, our love for our baby will prevail, our love for each other will strengthen us.” He wrote.
Neymar and Bruna Biancardi announced in April that they are expecting their first child together, with Bruna posting a photo of her cradling her growing bump.
