Richard Mofe Damijo AKA RMD, is both a Nigerian actor and politician. Back in 2005, he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He is a former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State, Nigeria.
RMD reportedly started the trend of actors and entertainers venturing into politics. RMD apppointed to serve as commissioner by former Delta state governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan.
