Congratulations are in order for a Nigerian lecturer, Prof. Uwem Ekpo, and his wife, as they recently welcomed a baby after 13 years of waiting.

Uwem Ekpo, a lecturer with the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), and his wife dedicated their baby at the El-Shaddai Deliverance Church, Abeokuta on Sunday.

A friend of the couple, Elijah Ayo Arowojolu, shared the good news on Facebook on Monday, July 4.

“For Prof Uwem Ekpo And Family, God Has Done It After Waiting For 13 Years!. This God is a Miracle-Working God! 13 years seems so long a time for one of FUNAAB’s foremost academic and an internationally rated Parasitologist, Prof Uwem Ekpo and his wife after a 13-year wait for a child.

“A few weeks ago, the Lord answered by fire and granted their desires. The baby came and today Sunday was the baby’s dedication at the El-Shaddai Deliverance Church Inc. located at Ijeun-Titun, Abeokuta. Indeed, weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Let somebody shout Halleluyah”. Arowojolu wrote.
