A schoolboy from Nigeria, Oluwademilade Odumuboni, has emerged from a contest with 782,000 students as the winner of a prize worth millions of naira.

Out of 782,000 students from 90 nations, a 10-year-old Nigerian youngster wins a multimillion naira prize.

He reportedly won the top prize in the international 2022–2023 Toyota Dream Vehicle Art Contest.

The 10-year-old Nigerian student at Corona School in Gbagada, Lagos, contested and won the renowned prize in the 2022/2023 session after outlasting 782,852 other competitors from 90 nations.

Odumuboni’s waste converter solution was chosen as the best by judges from around the world because it will help countries, especially African people, produce food and protect the environment.

The winner received the $5,000 cash prize, a plaque, and a certificate at a special event that Toyota Nigeria Limited organized. His school also received $10,000.

The winning drawings from the nine national winners who made the shortlist are shipped to Japan to compete against other winning drawings from across the world.

According to a report from Dailytrust, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), Japan hosts the contest every year for students all over the world, asking them to sketch their ideal automobiles using any random notion.
