Adorable photos of Kaduna state governor, El-Rufai, bonding with his grandchildren have been shared online.
The heartwarming photos were shared on Twitter by his son, Bashir El-Rufai, on Wednesday morning, May 4.
Sharing the photos, Bashir noted that growing up he didn’t have much fun with the governor as his grandchildren were enjoying him because he was always busy.
“Baba and his children & grandchildren. I envy them I didn’t have this much fun with him as he was always busy as I was growing up”, Bashir captioned the photos.
In the photos, El-Rufai could be seen carrying one of his grandchildren on his belly and another with his legs.
On social media, Nigerians reacted positively to the photographs, with many praising the governor for his simplicity and affection for children.
A tweep, @pbo2k wrote, “I am sure that this is the highest point of his daily routine. So relaxing and refreshing.🥰🥰🥰”.
Another Twitter user @StaunchieCallie wrote, “Elrufai playing with his grandchildren. This is how most of these men should be enjoying their old age. Not printing posters everywhere.”
Meanwhile, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s aide, Joe Igbokwe, also shared the photos on his Facebook page.
“Gov Elrufai and his grandchildren. So lovely. Great family man.” He wrote.
