Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon, has apologized for his open letter to the newly elected winner of the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat, Thaddeus Attah.

Recall the actor had expressed his displeasure at the election results because he felt his friend, Banky W was a better man for the job and sent an open letter to Thaddeus Attah questioning his plans for the people of Eti-Osa as their newly-elected representative.

This letter was not well received by netizens who lampooned Deyemi for being condescending and disrespectful of the new representative.

After the insults, Deyemi made a video to apologize for the gesture and explain the reason behind it.

Sharing the vidoe on his instagram page, he wrote;

“After fans and friend called and messaged me and brought me out of my feelings I have given myself sense and now behaved as I was brought up to do and re-addressed Mr Thaddeus Attah @jt.atta with the same kindness and respect as I would anyone. I don’t know who sent me and my big nose to be writing open letter, thinking I’m in a feem acting as younger Pa OBJ! 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️”
