The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of one of its prominent actors, Sam Obiago.

The tragic news of his unfortunate demise was shared online by Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko.

As at the time of filing this report, the cause of his death has not been revealed, however, reports have it that he was battling an undisclosed ailment before he died.

Sam Obiago, during his active years was an actor, filmmaker, TV personality and movie producer. He has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies since he debuted his acting career in 2013.

Sharing a photo of the actor, Destiny Etiko wrote:

Few months ago, the Nigeran Entertainment industry was hit with the death of Veteran Actress, Rachael Oniga.

According to a source, she died from CO VID-19 complications on Friday, July 30.

Rachael Tabuno Oniga was born on May 23rd, 1957 in Lagos state, Nigeria to parents from from Eku, a community in Ethiope East local government area of Delta State.
