A sand storm swept through Kaduna orientation camp as youth corps members scampered for safety, running helter-skelter to avoid the atmospheric conditions.

The video which was shared on social media by a corps member posted to the Sahara zone revealed the frightening wind engulfed with a large amount of sand and dust, disrupting the camp activities.

As seen in the video, corps members were captured moving fast on their feet, away from the storm. The sand storm which occurred on the football pitch stopped the ongoing marching parade.

Some corps members hurriedly took cover under the trees, covering their faces to avoid excessive exposure to the dust.

Corps members online confirmed how scary the sand storm engulfed the camp. Many shared their experience, comparing the atmosphere with other Northern camps.
