Estranged best friends Oge Okoye and Ini Edo are back together and this time around,their friendship seems to be sealed with a very strong bond.
If you talk about movie stars who are always together,then this clique of stars Ini Edo,Oge Okoye, Ebube Nwagbo and Rukky Sanda readily comes to mind. Infact they seem to be the hottest clique of friends in the movie industry. They are always everywhere together, sometimes even outside the state.
However, this was not the case for award winning stars Oge Okoye and Ini Edo in recent past, as they were more like cat and dog. But these pretty movie stars who were once at war have not only sheath their swords but they have become very close again and now step out together to various events.
Their rift dated back to 2008,precisely after Ini Edo got married to her ex husband Philip Ehiagwina in the United states. They were so close back then that Oge was the only actress who flew to the states to attend Ini’s white wedding.But after the wedding,reports sufficed online that the two best friends parted ways.
Hints Weekly reported that the two who used to be best of friends were fighting the battles of their lives, unknown to many people. It further revealed that the problem was beyond re conciliatory attempts by mutual friends of the two to resolve the matter. The feud allegedly started a few years back when Ini accused Oge Okoye of being behind some of her private issues which found its way into the press.
It was also reported that Ini Edo was the reason Oge Okoye allegedly lost the Globacom Ambassador endorsement deal, which is reputed to have fetched over thirty million naira each for the artistes. 2 years after,it was also reported that the two actresses had a face off at a location in Festac.
However, amidst these rumours,none of the parties came out to debunk nor affirm the allegations but one thing was certain,they were not spotted together again at any event or gathering. The closeness they currently share was missing in the last couple of years as they simply avoided each other until last year when peace was brokered between the divas.
On how they reconciled,only close friends of the duo are privy to that scenario but thier reconciliation became public last year November when Ini Edo stormed Oge Okoye’s birthday party which held in a yatch in Lagos.The mother of two who also owns a make upline, Crystal Glam held an elaborate and classy Prest Dinner Cruise yatch birthday party .
The party had a lot of celebrities including the celebrants best friends (BFF) Oge Okoye and Rukky Sanda.But surprisingly,movie star Ini Edo showed up and she had fun to the hilt. She also played a key role which was praying for the celebrant.From that moment, it was obvious the friendship that existed between them from inception had been rekindled.
On Ini’s birthday last month, Oge sent out a birthday message that reads “Happy birthday my day 1 paddy.You are still as charming,talented ,genuine and kind as the day I met you.Today is your day my love, may beauty and happiness surround you always.

The actresses are back together and have been stepping out together as well.They stormed Warri recently alongside their mutual friend, star actress Ebube Nwagbo for an event that had a lot of top comedians in attendance. It is also alleged that the curvy and stylish actress Ebube Nwagbo may have been the one who reconciled her two friends.
