The advice a Muslim Nigerian woman gave her fellow Muslim ladies has generated different reactions on social media.
The lady shared that Muslim women who marry Muslim men should know that their husbands are bound to take another wife.
Airing her opinion on X (Twitter), she added that it is a norm they have to accept and when it happens they should pray to Allah.
Her tweet read;
“Dear Muslim women, Once you get married to a Muslim man, prepare your mind that he is going to take another wife sooner or later. When it happens, accept qadr and pray for Allah’s guidance, ease, and protection for you and your kids.”
After noticing the interactions are tweet was generating, the lady went on to state that anyone who finds themselves in that situation should do what they want.
While some internet users agreed with her opinion, others objected with claims that it is a thing of choice and the wife can request for a divorce if she wants to.
