“Prove this story” – Omotola Jalade blast blogger over alleged affair with Oshiomhole

Popular Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has blasted a popular blogger who alleged that she’s having an affair with the former National Chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomole.

In the post, controversial Instagram blogger, Gist Lover Blog alleged that the actress is having an affair with Oshiomole.

Sharing a picture collage of Omotola and the politician, it wrote;

“Today is the sabbath day so we go keep am holy,we go just dey post pictures,maybe tomorrow when no be Holy day,we go give details,abi how una see am?i come in peace.”

In reaction, the businesswoman called out the blogger daring whoever is behind the faceless account to prove the affair under 24 hours.

Sharing a snapshot of the alleged affair, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde wrote;

“I ordinarily dont do this but after thinking about it thoroughly and seeking advice i have decided to!

So.this Blog ran this story and people started coming to my page. Ive always known there are people who are sick and will tell you stories that have Never happened but to publish that on a platform as big as instagram? You must be held accountable ….

*** I have demanded they FINISH and PROOVE THIS STORY … problem is, this blog is hiding under anonymity! ( faceless blogging ) There are more credible blogs out there … follow blogs with accountability .

Dayo Amusa was bodyshamed and criticized for advertising the weight loss product, which her followers claimed was not working on her body.

A follower commented, “But this is not working for you now. Stop deceiving people jor.”

A lady commented, “Why use @dayoamusa for this kind of advert.”

Another wrote: “You are not fit for this kind of advert jare…look at your big Tommy ….. haaaaaaaaaa.”

“Why will they use a pregnant woman for a weightless add now,” a fourth person wrote.

Reacting to the trolls, Dayo said her body weight is her problem, not theirs.

BREAKING: Petrol laden tanker burst into flames in Abeokuta; several injured, many feared dead

Reports accompanied with videos and photos reaching us this hour is that of a petrol laden tanker that reportedly fell and burst into flames around IBB Boulevard, opposite GTBank Kuto, Abeokuta.

As at the time of filing this report, the fire service in the state and other officials have arrived at the scene to put out the fire and attend to the incident.

Graphic images and videos show a burnt body laying on the ground as well as burnt up cars. It’s yet to be ascertained whether or not, the occupants of the cars were able to escape the fire.

However, some videos show the moment people scampered for safety, with some sustaining burn injuries. See some videos below, (WARNING: Graphic content ahead)

“My son contracted COVID19 last term” – Comedian, Owen Gee reveals as he kicks against reopening of schools

Popular Nigerian comedian, Owen Gee has criticized the reopening of schools amidst the second wave of covid-19 pandemic.

Owen Gee in an exclusive interview with PUNCH, revealed that his nine-year-old son contracted the novel Coronavirus while in school last term.

The comedian further revealed his wife, and his first son also got infected with COVID while looking after his second son who got diagnosed with the viral disease.

Recounting his family’s experience with Covid-19, he said,

“I have two kids, one is in primary while the other is in secondary school. Last term, one of my kids came home ill and was sick for a while. We kept treating him for malaria but to no avail. We treated him for two weeks till he lost his senses of smell and taste. He had body aches and was excessively weak. It was at that point we discovered he had contracted COVID-19. He was about nine years old at the time.

“My wife and I started taking care of him because we could not abandon him, he is our son. In the process of taking care of him, my wife and I also contracted the virus. It was a war for us, later on, his elder brother contracted the virus

“I couldn’t be separated from my family because going to an isolation center will mean separating us. The psychological damage alone was something else.

“We became a family of four with COVID. We had it at different times so for over a month, we battled with the deadly ailment. It cost a fortune aside the fact that I also got help from well-meaning friends who had contracted it. Some friends also helped in terms of medication and support.”

Owen who expressed concern over the government’s decision to reopen schools despite the second wave of the pandemic in the country, said,

“With the rate at which the figures are going up, give me a reason why they want the schools to reopen?

“In light of what we have faced, I have asked my children to stay at home. Their lives mean more to me than their education. A lot of countries are on lockdown, they are not bothered if their children will go to the next class or not. Nigeria is not the most developed country in the world. We should not act as if education is a do or die affair. We are talking about a virus.

A bucket of water outside the school and hand sanitiser is not enough to prevent children from getting the virus. Because we all have different immunities, I cannot risk the life of my child. I do not support the resumption of schools.”

“Family member caused death of 6 kids crushed by car in Edo” – Native doctor

A native doctor who was invited by some leaders in the community where six children were crushed to death by a speeding car in Uromi, Edo state, has fingered a family member responsible for the death of the kids.

We reported earlier of how a learner driver in the area lost control of his car and swerved to where the kids were said to be playing and killed all 6 of them..

According to a member of the community, Enaholo Abel Enaholo, the native doctor stated that an uncle to one of the children caused the tragic accident because he refused to accept a goat from the child’s mother after a misunderstanding.

He wrote;

“Native Doctor Live in Uromi as is invited to ascertain the cause of the accident that claimed 6 Kids in the town a few days ago. UROMIANS NO GET JOY OO I think the level of value of life here no matter the means with which they decide to use is nice.”

In a follow-up post, Enaholo wrote;

“OUTCOME OF THE NATIVE DOCTOR’S INTERVENTION IN UROMI
The Uncle to one of the kids is said to be responsible for his death while other kids were unlucky to be with the kid at the time of the incident.

THE ISSUE
Two brothers had issues because of the younger brother’s wife. The elders told the younger brother’s wife to bring a goat and the elder brother should also bring a goat. The younger brother’s wife brought the goat but her brother-in-law refused to collect the goat so that is why the son was collected in place of the goat. So instead of one child, the 6 kids were collected and labeled as casualties”

Police arrest 16-year-old suspected female bandit in Niger state; recover arms

The Police Command in Niger State has killed a suspected armed bandit and arrested his 16-year-old female accomplice.

Spokesperson of the command, ASP Wsiu Abiodun, who revealed this in a statement on Monday, January 18, stated that the suspects were arrested with two locally fabricated revolver rifles in Mariga Local Government Area of the state.

“On 13/01/2021 at about 1700hrs, a team of Police operatives/vigilante attached to Bangi division while on routine patrol along Bangi/Wamba road arrested two suspects; one Haruna SNU ‘m’ and Maryam Sani age 16yrs ‘f’ both of Magami village via Gussau Zamfara State with one unregistered Bajaj m/cycle, and two locally fabricated revolver rifles,” said Abiodun.

During interrogation, the said Haruna attempted to escape and was gunned down by the Police. The corpse was later deposited at general hospital Bangi, Mariga LGA.

In other news, Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala has explained that her parents never wanted her to play football while growing up in Lagos.

Oshoala, who currently plays for Barcelona’s female team is among the best female strikers in the world considering what she has achieved since she started her football career on the streets of Ikorodu in Lagos.

Deaconess Emerald Udeakaji, the Special Adviser to Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi, on Business Development, has tendered her resignation.

Udeakaji who revealed that she resigned from her position to save her marriage, in a letter dated December 30th, 2020 and addressed to the Governor, stated that she has given 100% loyalty to the government but her family is tearing apart.

The Jamaican Health Minister, Christopher Tufton confirmed this new development on Monday, August 25.

The world record holder disclosed in a video posted on Instagram that he took the test on Saturday and has taken the responsible step of self-isolating, although he is asymptomatic.

Nigerians in the diaspora have designed Aso-Ebi for the inauguration ceremony of US president-elect, Joe Biden and Vice President-elect, Kamala Harris coming up on Wednesday, January 20, .

In a video that has gone viral, two Nigerian men residing in the diaspora can be seen brandishing the African print with the photos of Biden and Harris imprinted on the fabrics.

The men who were speaking in Yoruba stated that they are sending the fabrics to their tailors to make them an outfit befitting for the ceremony.

Ehi took to her Instagram story to share a video of MC Oluomo, including clips of her spraying money on MC Oluomo at the event.

After the news of her relationship went viral, Ehi who sits atop a multi-million business empire, dismissed claims that her mansion and business was bankrolled by her lover.

Nigerian footballer, Emmanuel Emenike has taken to social media to admonish his fans to never stop trying but keep believing in themselves.

The international football star who shared a throwback photo alongside a recent photo of him in his luxuriously-furnished home, encouraged his followers to never give up.

According to Emenike everyone has a destined time of greatness, hence theirs will also come.

Sharing the throwback photo he wrote,

Meanwhile, the Nigerian international footballer, Emmanuel Emenike has built an ultra-modern hospital in his hometown.

Emenike in a bid to give back to the society, built the world-class hospital in his hometown and is set to begin operations.

The super eagles star who is an indigene of Otuocha, a town and Headquarters of Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra, erected the state of the art hospital to improve the quality of health care services in the country at large.

#EndSARS protester, Rinu laments over inability to write her exams

Nigerian activist, and frontline #EndSARS protester, Oduala Olorunrinu, simply known as Rinu, has taken to Twitter to lament over her inability to write her exams.

This is due to the freezing of her account by the Central Bank of Nigeria over her participation in the Endsars protests last year.

Rinu who had participated in protests against police brutality in Nigeria in October 2020, was among the 19 individuals whose bank accounts were frozen by the Central Bank of Nigeria after obtaining an ex-parte order from a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Months later, their accounts are still frozen, and Rinu who is a student, has lamented over how this affects her studies.

In a series of tweets, most of which have now been deleted, the vocal young lady cried out that the system is failing her simply because she protested.

In her words;

”In reality, the burden I carry is a heavy one. My school exams starts today. But I can’t write any. The system is refusing & failing me just because I protested against police brutality.”

She added;

”How do I write exams after being tagged a terrorist whose only crime is demanding accountability from the leaders of her nation?

”Responsibility comes with great consequences but I am not afraid.

”I am only disappointed that the system is failing me.”
