Man allegedly butchers his baby mama over food in Imo (Graphic photos)

A 27-year-old businessman identified as Emmanuel Chukwuma Igwe, has been accused of hacking his baby mama, Porcia Achonu, with a cutlass, in Owerri, Imo State.

Porcia, who is a mother-of-two, was attacked on Saturday, January 2, at about 1am, shortly after returning from a trip to the village with her Chukwuma.

It’s reported that Chukwuma’s younger sister served him food but didn’t serve the mother of his children. Porcia then went after his younger sister and took a piece of chicken from her but the younger woman grabbed it back.

This then caused a fight between both women and the baby daddy came in and allegedly beat Porcia up. Chukwuma’s father is said to have heard the commotion and came out to investigate and douse the tension.

Reports claim Porcia was locked inside the house afterwards so she wouldn’t go anywhere and even when her brother came, he was denied entry.

Moments later, Chukwuma reportedly went to his car and brought out a cutlass with which he hacked his children’s mother, allegedly in the presence of his father.

He is said to have entered his car and drove off after Porcia played dead to put an end to the attack on her.

Photos of Porcia show her with a deep cut on her shoulder after the attack. Blood is seen pouring from the wound and staining her blouse.

Chukwuma is reportedly on the run while his father has been arrested.

A South African lady took to her Twitter page to give the steps she would adopt in a bid to salvage the situation if her partner cheats on her.

According to the lady, identified as Mothowa Modimo, if her man cheats on her, then it means that she did something to make him have an affair — she then says rather than leave cheating partner, she would find the error in herself and apologize.

Mothowa added that the final step would be for her to be a better woman.

She tweeted;

”If my boyfriend cheats on me, i need to understand that i lacked something that made him cheat, so instead of leaving him for another guy, ama find out the error in myself, apologise to him and be a Better Woman Trophy

Man proposes to “friend” shortly after breaking up with girlfriend of 5 years

A Nigerian man has broken up with his girlfriend of five years, to propose to a lady he always claimed was just a friend.

According to the Twitter user, @girllkikekandyy who shared the heartbreaking story on Twitter, the man was in a relationship with her sister for five years and usually talked about getting married to her and even met with the family.

Kandyy further revealed that her sister’s boyfriend of five years randomly sent her a breakup text and then proposed to his “friend” less than a month later.

It was alleged that the man usually post the woman he’s now engaged to, but never posted her sister on social media. When asked, he said he’s a private person.

Her tweet reads,

“My heart breaks for my sister,Dating a guy for 5 years. He met the family and all.
Even spoke about marriage several times. Randomly he sent her a text less than a month ago while still in the relationship. We woke up today and he has proposed to the girl yesterday.

“He has been posting her since before and claiming she was a friend and did a whole public proposal, but didn’t for once for 5 years post my sister on any socials and said it’s because he was private. It’s not that major but it’s really the little things.”

In the photo, the actress appears to be unclad as she uses her hair to cover her bosoms, leaving little to the imagination of her followers.

“Schools in Lagos state to remain closed indefinitely” – State Government announces

Lagos State Government has declared that all public and private schools below tertiary level in the state will remain closed indefinitely due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Head of Public Affairs, Lagos State Ministry of Education, Mr. Kayode Abayomi in a recent statement, noted that the recent directive makes it mandatory that all schools earlier scheduled to resume on 4th of January, 2021, must remain closed until a new resumption date is announced.

Abayomi stated that a new date will be communicated in due course.

He also urged parents and students to ensure strict adherence to guidelines issued by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 such as the wearing of face masks, physical distancing, washing of hands under running water and use of alcohol-based hand sanitisers.

Clementina Nwamaka Obidike and Christopher Nnamdi Mbogu who are both visually impaired, tied the knots at a modest wedding in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra state during the weekend.

Clementina works with the Anambra State Ministry of Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship while her new husband, Christopher is a staff of the Ministry of Basic Education.

The couple were joined in a Holy Matrimony at Christ Holy Church International in Enugwu-Ukwu on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

Their traditional marriage ceremony later held at the bride’s hometown in Agu-Ukwu Nri, Anambra.

Popular Nigerian businessman Emeka Okonkwo popularly known as E-Money has replied a social media user who wished him ill-fate.

The entrepreneur who is the chief executive officer of Five Star Music had taken to his Instagram page to share a video of himself and his brother Kcee.

The brothers were seen dancing to the traditional drumming at Anambra state.

However, the social media user who identified himself as a Zimbabwean took to the comment section and wrote,

“Those who pretend to be rich yall guilt of sacrifices human body parts, I give this dude 1yr only yall see wats going to happen, he’s following Ginimbi same squad”.

Nigerian singer, Joy Eseoghene Odiete, popularly known as Jodie has given an insight into the state of her mind following her split from Nollywood actor and producer, David Nnaji.

The marriage between David and Jodie went south after the birth of their son, Chinua. In 2018, David welcomed a baby girl with another woman and that ultimately proved to be the deal-breaker for Jodie.

The Kuchi Kuchi singer told The Nation, that due to the divorce, she battled depression for a long time.’

In her words ;

“After crying my eyes out, I tried to numb the pain, so I got a job far away from home, so that I would commute to work very early in the morning and commute back late at night – plus the Lagos traffic – exhausted. It gave me some false comfort, so that I’d be too tired to think and continue the cycle the next day,”

“I didn’t know I was depressed after a while. I even shaved my hair at some point – I thought it was a fashion statement (I really like hair) – that’s after I had gone blonde. Sometimes, I would put on very heavy make-up, just to add some ‘colour’ in my life. I was restless.”

“I was that way until, one day, still on the job – I had gone to Abuja for an assignment. I was walking back to the hotel I was lodged in, then I found myself praying this so-called prayer. It was full of bitterness and anger – asking God to punish those I believed had hurt me.

“Then, it was like someone spoke to me in my heart, saying, ‘but, is that what you really want?’ I paused. I then started walking slowly, I was now speaking out, softly, I said, ‘Actually, that’s not what I want, I just want them to see things through my perspective.’ After which, I continued the rest of the prayer, still walking, asking for peace of mind and help to forgive and move on.” I believe that is where healing began.

“I started afresh, like a child – I went back to my church choir. I continued with my hobbies – crafting and all. I even learnt a new skill (product formulation from Eudokas Beauty Institute) and opened a natural hair care brand called Kuchi Kuchi – of course, I grew my nappy hair back, and by the way, it is long again.

“I decided to sing some songs I’ve always wanted to sing, hence my new EP, ‘Songs of Truth’ I decided to live again and by the help of God and with gratitude in my heart, I am living again.”

This family vacation comes barely two months after the ‘Gongo Aso’ crooner openly admitted that he cheated on his wife.

9ice had also apologized to his wife and fans after a video of the singer caressing another woman had surfaced online, generating heated controversy.

On Saturday, November 21, 2020, 9ice, in an Instagram post titled ‘save a sinking vessel’, admitted he had done “something shameful and terrible.”

The ‘Gongo Aso’ crooner also pleaded with the public to help beg his wife to forgive him.

A bride-to-be, Fatima Hassan Fari has died on her wedding day in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State.

It was gathered that Fatima died at 7:am on Saturday, January 2, 2021, three hours to her wedding Fatiha slated at 10:am.

She was buried at 2:pm on the same day, according to Islamic rites.

A school friend, Mallam Muhammad Sani Isah while mourning the sad loss, described Fatima as an upright lady and a humanitarian.

He wrote on Facebook ;

“Farewell to my school friend Fatima Hassan Fari , who left us today’s morning to go to a better place where there is no pain and she can join her father.

“I truely had her in a million, she was a perfect upright ledy and total humanitarian. No matter what people said or if they did her wrong she would not judge but look for an amicable solution.She faced foe with a brave heart and would not retreat from the cause until all parties were happy. I at times accused her of making excuses for the devil. Her motto was “even if the other person is wrong you do what is right!”

Burn survivor shares photos showing how he started 2020 and how he ended it

A Nigerian man who involved in domestic fire incident and suffered 2nd degree burns has shared old and recent photos to show how much his health has improved.

According to the man identified as Busayo, the burn was “the most painful and traumatic experience” for him. He added that it nearly claimed his life.

Thankfully, he survived and his health and skin has improved.

He wrote on Twitter ;

Wow!!! Thank you all for your caring words and thoughts.

It was indeed the most painful and traumatic experience of my life.

I had 2nd degree burns as a result of a domestic fire incident that nearly claimed my life.

Eleven-year-old student of the Deeper Life High School, Akwa Ibom, Don Davis, has shared details of how he was allegedly assaulted and molested by staff and students of the school.

In a Facebook live with his mum, Don Davis said he began to suffer physical assault from one of the teachers because he was bedwetting.

“When I got to Deeper Life school, because I bedwet, Mr Akpan uses belt on me. He uses any thing he sees, even if it is iron, belt, or he can even use stone. Because I bedwet, they transferred me from JS1 dormotery to SS1 dormitory.

Nicki Minaj gave birth to her son on September 30. She has not revealed his name but calls him by the nickname “Papa Bear.”

On Saturday, Jan 2, for the first time, she shared the first full photos of her son.

She also shared a video of her son with the caption: “#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama,” she wrote.

“Wishing you guys a happy & prosperous New Year. Thank you for your love & support throughout this journey. It’s meant so much to me. Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big Brother Naija season 2 reality stars, Uriel Oputa and Gifty have reconciled after two years of animosity.

Uriel took to Instagram to reveal that she reached out to Gifty via DM and she feels lighter for it.
