A medical personnel in Rivers state, Victor Israel, whose account was reportedly frozen by the Central Bank of Nigeria for “giving medical attention” to #EndSARS protesters in October, has revealed that its been two months and counting since he has been denied access to his money.
In a tweet posted earlier this morning, Victor says this is the worst Christmas for him and his family.

A Nigerian man identified as Mustapha from Kaduna state recently took to his social media page to share a controversial opinion on marriage duties.

The Federal Government has declared Friday, December 25, Monday, December 28, and Friday, January 1, 2021, as public holidays to mark the Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year Celebrations respectively.
The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, announced this in a statement released today December 23. He felicitated with Christians and all Nigerians both at home and abroad on this year’s Christmas and New Year Celebrations.
The statement which was signed on behalf of the Minister by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dr Shuaib Belgore reads in part
“We must emulate the life of humility, service, compassion, patience, peace and righteousness that the birth and Ministry of Jesus Christ signified, that will be the best way to know Christ and celebrate his birth.”
The Minister noted that peace and security are critical factors needed to enable the Government to accomplish its mission of revitalizing the economy, improving Foreign Direct Investment as well as generating employment opportunities for over 100 million Nigerian youths in the next 10 years.
He appealed to Nigerians and Christians in particular, to adhere strictly to the Covid-19 protocols and guidelines, as stipulated by relevant authorities, during and after the yuletide, especially with the second wave of the outbreak of the disease.

New reports are telling of how the relationship between estranged Big Brother Naija lovers, Mercy Eke and Ike Onyema allegedly hit the rocks over Ike’s friendship with Tacha and Nengi.
According to Nigerian blogger, Cutie Jullz, Mercy Eke, Ike, Nengi all went for BBNaija auditions two years ago, but only Ike and Mercy got selected.
During the audition, Nengi and Ike became cool friends with each other, and exchanged contacts. Nengi reportedly kept in touch with Ike and Mercy separately and during her own time in the house, she informed Ike that she was selected.
She reportedly called Mercy but Mercy didn’t pick her calls. Cutie Julz claims that Mercy was not comfortable with her boyfriend’s friendship with Tacha, and when Nengi left the house, Ike’s friendship with her became an issue too.
Mercy also allegedly complained about Nengi not being herself and trying to copy her game, and her boyfriend bringing up Nengi in their chats and discussions.

A Nigerian man Will Jawando, elected into the Montgomery County Council in the United States, has proudly displayed a representation of his culture to the world.
The young politician wore a Nigerian attire popularly called agbada to his swearing-in ceremony in a bid to promote the African culture.
He is an attorney, born to a Nigerian father and an American mother from Kansas.
Will, in a video which was shared on Twitter by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), explained why he wore the African attire to his inauguration.
He said: “We all come from different culture, it’s really important that we respect our differences even if those differences come in ways we don’t anticipate or even understand.”
“So by wearing this agbada, this traditional West African clothing in a public setting to take the public oath of office, it’s part of a bigger and public dialogue that I think it’s needed if we are to understand and respect our differences and move forward.”
