The Billionaire wife had taken to Instagram to share stunning photos of herself in a yellow dress and her favourite “Forever 16” diamond necklace sitting pretty on her neck.

Nigerians have trolled, music executive, David Adeleke better known as Davido on social media for not winning any award at the recent MOBO Awards.

Burna Boy and Wizkid won the Best International act and Best Africa Act respectively at the recent MOBO Awards. While Burna was named the Best International Act, Wizkid emerged as the Best African act of the year 2020.

However, Nigerians have taken to social media to drag the DMW boss for not winning any award from the virtually held MOBO Awards.

Davido was majorly dragged by the recent teeth-whitening process he underwent.

A man has left his girlfriend overwhelmed with excitement after he put a ring on her finger while she was fast asleep, and allowed her wake up to the huge surprise.

The man identified as Michael Mayorga shared the adorable engagement stunt he pulled on his girlfriend via a Facebook post he made on Thursday, December 9.

According to him, he said his girlfriend, Jamilah Williams, is someone who is very difficult to be impressed so he decided to engage her around 5am while she was deeply asleep and allowed her wake up to a ring on her finger.

Michael said he was awake while she slept just waiting for her to wake up so he can pop the “will you marry me?” question to Jamilah.

Conceived by itel Mobile to celebrate the Christmas season with her communities, the campaign serves an even greater purpose – supporting the dreams of young Nigerians.

In August this year, 11-year-old ballet dancer Anthony Madu rode and rose to fame on the back of a viral video of his inspiring study session shared on social media. For customer-centric itel Mobile, it’s more support for more ‘Anthonys’ in the ‘Every Dream Matters’ campaign.

To drive the campaign’s essence, itel visited two Lagos-based ballet education and creative art schools on December 5. One of them is the Leap of Dance Academy, Ajangbadi, the training establishment that facilitated Anthony’s success. The other being Patya Expressions Academy, Akowonjo.

itel Mobile made the visits to donate smart television sets, stationaries, goodie bags and sanitizers to 150 young ballet dancers undertaking studies at the schools. As the donations took shape, games and mini-parties were hosted to keep the fun going. A case of Christmas coming early for the young ballerinas and the schools.

Sosoliso plane crash 15 years later: Lady pays emotional tribute to her sister who died in the accident; says their mum never recovered

Today, 10th of December, 2020 makes it 15 years since the Sosoliso Airlines flight 1145 crash-landed in Port Harcourt airport resulting in 108 loss of lives on board including 60 students of Loyola Jesuit College Abuja, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya and Nollywood actress, Uchenna Nnanna’s sister, Olaedo.

Taking to her Facebook page on Thursday morning, Uchenna Nnanna-Maduka’s sister, Ngozi Nnanna Noel Ogamba, penned a touching tribute to their late sister.

We will never forget. The Sosoliso Plane Crash blew you and the other 108 passengers away leaving behind 2 survivors. Omagwa PH Airport witnessed a tragedy it is yet to recover from 15 whole years after.

We have missed you Edoo nwannmem. Dad and Mom have come to meet you. Mom had your name on her lips always. She never recovered from your sudden departure.

Yesterday 9th December I had to revisit the full report about the crash online again and this time saved it in my laptop. What lessons Nigeria have learnt from the Crash I really do not know….the full report as made available online by the Federal Ministry of Aviation stated that:

1. Only one fire fighting truck was available at the airport at the time of the crash

2. No ambulance at the airport

3. Summary of the crash remains…missed approach due to pilot error aggravated by wind shear.

4. Late Pastor Bimbo Odukoyas PA was among the 2 survivors with Kechi Okwuchi and she has remained silent 15 years after. She was conscious and the world expected her to talk but she has chosen not to till now….only God knows why and best.

I thank Mater Misericodie Catholic Church Port Harcourt our Parish for Immortalising you together with the other 9 parishioners lost in the crash…..the Loyola Jesuit angels and the Rev Fr.

Someday I may need to write about what really happened as much as I know. 15 years gone and the whole incident is still fresh in my memory. From the airport to the hospitals to the mortuaries…..haaaaa I can never forget….all the drama that played out….hmmmmm….a lot happened from 10th December to 16th of December the day you were buried that people do not know about. I will tell the story someday. Yes I will. Another book in the making.

Now more than ever I feel the urge to tell the world all that happened to you and all that I know but until then Edoo my sister keep resting in peace my Angel and greet Jesus….Mary….Dad and Mom ok…

Big Brother Naija star and actress, Erica Nlewedim seems to have thrown a subtle shade and it’s speculated that it’s aimed at her colleague, Laycon who supposedly drove her to Insanity during the reality show.

A Twitter user, Teslim Alabi, had taken to the micro-blogging platform to explain the meaning of gaslighting and how it involves manipulating a person.

His tweet reads,

“Gaslighting is actively driving a person to insanity and politely asking why they have wound up insane”.

In reaction, the reality TV star retweeted the post, affirming that she seconds the statement.

Recall that, during the show, some BBNaija fans called Laycon a manipulative person, and accused him of making Erica go overboard with her emotions, which eventually led to her disqualification.

This is coming after Erica Nlewedim’s personal manager, DonMikeOne called out BBNaija season 5 winner, Laycon, accusing him of being manipulative.

Laycon who recently had an interview with Pulse, sent a heartwarming message to his colleague, Erica noting that she’s amazing and wonderful.

In his words, “You are wonderful, you are amazing, you would grow”.

In reaction, Erica’s manager called out Laycon, alleging that the singer’s message to Erica was a PR stunt and manipulative.

A video which made its way online shows the moment a side chick disgraced a Pastor who allegedly impregnated her and then refused to give her money to buy antibiotics after aborting a baby for him in Jahi area of Abuja.

According to eyewitnesses, the Pastor who initially had cold feet in giving her money for abortion, invited her over to his house to take the money for antibiotics.

After arriving the house, the lady claimed the Pastor slept with her again and told her he didn’t have any money to give to her – when she started raising her voice, he then reportedly started begging her.

The lady is said to have grabbed a knife while insisting that he must give her the money. While dragging the knife, the Pastor suffered a cut close to his eyes. He came out screaming, alleging that he doesn’t know the girl and accused her of wanting to kill him.

The whole scenery attracted the attention of neighbours who asked him to rush to a Jahi clinic for treatment. The pastor however went to a police station and accused the lady of trying to kill him.

It was gathered that the lady who was wearing the Pastor’s shirt and boxers as seen in the video shared, just passed out from school and wants to do her clearance.

She also accused the pastor of also promising to give her money to take care of her clearance. It was also revealed that the Pastor’s wife is a gynecologist in Bauchi state and rarely comes home.

An eyewitness wrote,

The wife of the pastor is a gynecologist in Bauchi, so she’s hardly home.

This Pastor got this girl pregnant 2 months back according to her, she asked him for money for abortion, he directed her to another pastor that would give her the money, that pastor slept with her before giving her the money for abortion.

She did the abortion and was asked to buy antibiotics, she asked the Pastor to give her the money for antibiotics and he was turning her, then he called her yesterday asked her to come to his house around 1am( the time she normally comes) that he was gonna give her the money.

He slept with her last night after that she started asking for the money and he told her he didn’t have, she started raising her voice , and he was begging her…

Till this morning, he went and brought out knife and said she must kill him to collect the money, they were dragging the knife and it cut him close to his eyes.

He came out screaming he doesn’t know the girl and she wants to kill him, that’s when we the neighbors heard and came out

We gave him cloth to hold the bleeding and rush to Jahi clinic.

Instead he went to the police station and was telling them that she tried to murder him.

This girl is a young girl according to her she just finished school and wants to do her clearance, the pastor also promised her money for her clearance This girl was putting on the pastors shirt and also his boxers.

The case got to the police station at Jahi, which the main Pastor had to come, they ended up paying her 30 thousand naira.

Nigerian singer & Airplane crash survivor, Kechi Okwuchi has taken to her social media page to mark 15 years of surviving the tragic crash.

The Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 crash on December 10, 2005 which led to the death of 108 with only 2 survivors.

Among the passengers were about sixty secondary school students from Loyola Jesuit College in the Federal Capital Territory region of Nigeria.[6] At first Loyola Jesuit College students from Port Harcourt traveled between school and their homes via buses using the roads.

Taking to social media 15 years after, 31-year-old America’s Got Talent alumna and motivational speaker Kechi Okwuchi, took to Twitter to express gratitude at being alive today.

She wrote;

2020 has been a harsh reminder that life & death are 2 sides of the same coin and today, the 15th anniversary of my accident, I am extremely humbled by this fact. As I continue to live for the lives lost that day, I will also live with new gratitude for life itself.

A Twitter user has narrated how a woman fell in love and got married to the man who murdered her husband.

@Jefe_says who took to the microblogging platform, revealed that his cousin who stays in the Caribbean shared the story with him.

According to him, the man had been convicted for the murder but after serving 3 years in jail, he got released on good behavior during the peak of the global coronavirus pandemic.

After his release from jail, he visited the wife of the man he killed and apologized. She forgave him but the man insisted on checking up on her to be sure that she is doing fine.

The Twitter user said that from then on, a relationship blossomed and they got married in October. When she was asked why she married the person responsible for her husband’s death, the woman said she saw ‘‘a part of her husband in the guy”.

According to a report by Daily Post, the accident involving a white Mazda bus with registration number, LND 539 XV; a Lexus car GS350 marked, AAA298GK and a truck, happened around Foursquare Camp Ground at about 1:14pm.

The crash was blamed on wrongful overtaking on the part of the driver of the Lexus car, which reportedly resulted in the bus colliding with the unidentified truck.

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) Corps confirmed the incident to newsmen, saying it involved nine men and seven women.

Babatunde Akinbiyi, TRACE Public Relations revealed that the injured victims had been taken to State Hospital, Ijaye, Abeokuta, adding that the corpses are also at the mortuary of the same hospital.

Akinbiyi explained further that,

“the Lexus car and the commercial bus, coming from Berger in Lagos, were inbound Abeokuta, while the truck was outbound Abeokuta.

“In an attempt by the Lexus car to overtake the commercial bus at the diversion stretch at Foursquare Camp axis of the Abeokuta-Kobape-Siun-Sagamu Expressway, the driver suddenly noticed he was facing an incoming truck, which was almost approaching him.

To avoid a head-on-collision, the bus ran into the bush. But, the driver side of the bus collided with the truck and the collision led to the death of the bus driver and the front passenger.

“Unfortunately, the two occupants in the Lexus car as well as the truck driver ran away.

“Nevertheless, the Lexus car and the commercial bus have been taken to the State Motor Traffic Division, Ibara.”

Alleged Local Govt casual staff dies in Benue after setting himself ablaze over non-payment of three years allowance

An alleged Benue local government staff, reportedly set himself ablaze over non-payment of three years allowance, on Wednesday, December 9th.

The young man identified as Aondona Yaga was until his death, said to be a casual staff at the Gwer local government secretariat, Aliade.

It was learnt that Yaga got fed up after facing difficulty because he wasn’t paid his allowance for almost three years, and decided to end his life.

His grandmother who was seen around his abandoned corpse confirmed that the the deceased had been facing difficulty as a result of his unpaid allowance.

She further revealed that Yaga fell sick and couldn’t find money to treat himself. Frustrated, he decided to end his life. On Wednesday morning,

He reportedly entered his thatched room on Wednesday morning, December 9th and set it on fire.

The Information Officer of Gwer Local Government, Mr. Chris Avi has confirmed the incident but didn’t give further details.

Reports have begun making the rounds online of a light aircraft crashing on Wednesday, December 9 in Maili Saba, in Isiolo County of Kenya.

According to the reports, there have been no news of casualties recorded so far but the number of occupants aboard the aircraft whose registration number is 5Y-VBB, also remains unknown.

Men who use egg and biscuit to lure children before kidnapping them arrested

Two suspected child traffickers, Ekene Duru and Chinonso Sylvanus have been arrested for allegedly using biscuit and egg to lure children before kidnapping them.

It was learnt that after using eggs and biscuit to lure the children, Ekene and Chinonso kidnap and sell them to another woman in Port Harcourt.

The suspects usually kidnap the children in Abia, and traffic them to their dealer who sells them to couples who are yet to have kids.

While being paraded, Ekene confessed to kidnapping children as little as two years old.

In his words,

“My name is Ekene Duru and I sell children. I steal children and deliver to people. I steal children of about 2 years old and sell them off to a woman who stays in Port Harcourt. I steal the children from Umuochala, Ariaria junction in Aba, Abia state.”

When asked on how he gets the children to follow him he revealed that he lures them with eggs and biscuits.

“I buy them biscuit or egg. After I steal them I will enter a motorcycle or tricycle. Nobody stops to ask me who owns the child and the child too will not cry when I carry them”. He said.

According to him, he has only stolen two children so far and has sold them both, adding that he sold one of the stolen child for N200, 000 and another for N100, 000.

His accomplice, Chinonso Sylvanus, alleged that Ekene contracted him to join him in the kidnapping business.

In his words,

“This man here is my Oga, He is the one that asked me to go and steal this child. I stole the child from his mother’s shop where she makes hair. I entered there and stole the child. People saw me when I entered and carried the child. The mother knows me.

I stole the boy and carried him to my Oga who gave me N50, 000. I used the money to run to Owerri . It was my Oga that told me to run to Owerri or Port Harcourt”

The suspects stated that the stolen kids are sold to couples who do not have children.
