Former Nigerian presidential aide, Reno Omokri has immediately shunned a lady who called him “baby” on Instagram.
The lawyer shared a photo of himself and a lady identified as ologunmade begged him to check his DM in a manner that appeared seductive.

Commercial sex workers in Onitsha, Anambra state have alarmed the government that they will embark on indefinite strike over the increase in prices of fuel and electricity tariff.
Uto Nwanyi, who claimed to be the patron of the sex workers under the umbrella of Self-Made Women of Substance, stated that the recent hike in prices of essential commodities came at a time they are yet to recover from the negative effect COVID-19 had on their business.
She said,
“The issue of Coronavirus started in March this year, and lasted for four months. Throughout the period, our members went out of business; no patronage of any kind; none of our members was able to meet up with personal needs
“When we were yet to recover from the Coronavirus, the Federal Government came up with their pump price increment. Electricity companies also came up with tariff hike. This led to increase in house rent, transportation and general cost of living. The situation bites us more than it affects any other group in Nigeria. Therefore, we are of the opinion that the situation be reversed within seven days”.
Another member of the association identified as Phina, threatened that if the Federal Government fails to bring down the prices of fuel and electricity tariff the association of sex workers will be forced to also review their prices for service rendered.

A Woman has been arrested by the police for allegedly cutting off one of the fingers of her niece living with her in Onitsha.
According to reports, the suspect, known for always assaulting the child for bad behavior.
However, the physical abuse took the drastic turn as she chopped off the girl’s finger because the victim failed to do some chores.
According to reports, the suspect who hails from Enugu is based in Onitsha, and residents are seeking justice for the young girl after pouncing hard, physically and verbally on the woman.

The Cape Town police has launched an investigation into the death of a 45-year-old taxi driver identified as Emmanuel Kwakye and his alleged girlfriend Georgina Lamisi Awuni Sayel.
Kwakye’s lifeless body was found hanging at Bronyibima M.A. Basic school on Tuesday, September 22, while Sayel was also found dead in his room, a tragic situation which fueled suspicion of him committing suicide after killing his girlfriend of three years who ended their relationship.
The bodies were discovered after Kwakye’s friend filed a missing person complaint with the University of Cape Coast’s police station, Ghana.
It was gathered that a deep stab wound was found on Lamisi’s left rib with her bra and dress stained with blood. Further checks in the room revealed a kitchen knife with a bloodstain on it.
Insiders alleged that Kwakye and Lamisi dated for three years and he allegedly sponsored her tertiary education at the Ola College of Education in Cape Coast. Upon completing her tertiary education, Lamisi ended their relationship and left Kwakye heartbroken.
It is speculated that the jilted man killed his girlfriend out of vengeance as all effort to get her back was futile. Their bodies have been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Mortuary.

This is the terrifying moment a hero dad was shot in the leg while shielding his three kids from a gunman who opened fire inside in a New York City car dealership.
The shooting took place at around 7.20pm on Monday at On The Road Automotive in the Eastchester neighborhood.
CCTV footage obtained by DailyMail showed the dad and his children sitting on a couch inside the car dealership before one hooded gunman stormed in and began firing through an open glass door.
The quick-thinking dad immediately threw himself over his children, attempting to protect them from the barrage of bullets with his body while other terrified people inside the dealership were seen running for their lives.
The dad was struck in the thigh by one of the bullets, police sources told DailyMail.com. He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center and is said to be in stable condition.
Police say they are searching for two suspects who all are currently on the run.
One of the suspects carjacked a green four-door sedan immediately after the shooting. The driver, 49, of the car was reportedly ordered at gunpoint from his vehicle while stopped at a red light near the dealership.
Investigators believe the shooting is gang-related following a report by New York Daily News that a gang member was doing business in the dealership when their rival opened fire.

A former Minister of Education (State), Olorogun Keneth Gbagi has arrested, stripped naked and charged to court 4 of his hotel staffs for allegedly stealing N5,000.
Gbagi is currently among the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirants in Delta state in 2023.
According to Sahara reporters, Gbagi arrested four members of his staff working in one of his establishments, Signatious Hotel in Warri, Delta State. He stripped them naked and took pictures of them inside the hotel before handing them over to the police.
It was gathered that after the dehumanizing treatment, the four staff comprising of three females and one male, were detained at the Ebrumede Police Station.
A staff of the hotel, speaking in confidence with Sahara reporters, revealed that his colleagues were arrested over the alleged theft of N5,000.
In his words: “My boss, former Minister of State for Education and owner of Signatious Hotel, Chief Kenneth Gbagi, arrested four of my colleagues working for him over the stealing of N5,000 from the hotel when actually the N5,000 was given as a gift to them by a guest because of their good behaviour.”
“Before they were arrested by the police on Friday last week at the hotel, the four staff were stripped naked while they were photographed in the presence of the police.
“We learnt that the dehumanising treatment was instructed by our boss.”
According to Sahara reporters, the hotel management also forcefully withdrew money from the bank accounts of the four staffs before the police took them away.
The names of the arrested staffs are Gloria Oguzie, Victor Ephraim, Rosslyn Okiemute and Achibong Precious. They were arraigned before a magistrate court in Effurum after four days in detention, facing a five-count charge.
The four staff, were granted bail on Monday through the intervention of some anti-corruption and human rights activists.
Confirming the story, Warri-based human rights lawyer, Omemiroro Maxwell Ogedegbe, stated that they were granted bail by a magistrate court sitting in Effurun, Delta State.

Officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Jigawa State Command apprehended a 30-year-old man identified as Habibu Muhammad, of Unguwar Gabas village in Yankwashi Local Government area of the state for allegedly raping a five (5) year old girl.
A statement released by the command’s spokesperson, Adamu Shehu, says the case was reported at the Yankwashi Divisional office by the father of the victim who accused the suspect of taking his five-year-old girl to his house and raped her.
“Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed that on Friday, 18th September 2020, at about 1530hrs, he invited the young girl into his house with the intention of sending her on an errand and later on changed his mind to take advantage of her.
According to the victim’s mother, it was when her daughter was complaining of pain in her private area that she decided to have a look at the place, and then questioned the girl on how she sustains bruises at the area. The little girl started crying saying the person would kill her if she mentioned his name.” the statement read
Adamu added that a medical report obtained from the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) at the General Hospital, Dutse, shows penetration and bruises in the victim’s private area.
He said the suspect will be charged to the court of competent jurisdiction after a discreet investigation has been completed.

A Nigerian man identified as Adeola Owosho has recounted how he lost 1.8 million naira in 2018 after his business went sour.
Taking to the employment-oriented platform, Linkedin, he said he almost fell into depression at that point in his life.
According to him, he got a loan of N500,000 from his dad who had just retired at the time to fund the business. He made 300% profit from the capital, but unfortunately lost it all in one day.
Adeola did not disclose the nature of the business, however he promised to talk about it someday.
He said despite his loss, he kept his head up high and learnt the greatest lessons of his life that will forever guide his path.
Adding that the experience taught him that it is good to fail early in life. He further advised people to pray to fail early.

Fresh out of school in May 2018, I lost 1.8 million Naira and I almost got depressed.
I had borrowed N500,000 from my Dad. He retired around the same time and he was paid his gratuity so he could afford to lend me so much money at the moment.

I went fully into a business I started learning in final year. I made 3 times my capital in a few months but lost it all in a day (May 29th 2018- I was at Techpoint.africa’s “Techpoint Inspired” Conference and I used their toilet about 15 times in a few hours because of the panic ?.
Someday I will tell the full story of this lowest point in my life (so far).
One thing is certain: I kept my head up high and I learnt the greatest lessons of my life that will forever guide my path.
Sometimes it is best to fail early in life. That way you learn vital truths that open your mind.
You should pray to #fail early!

Nigerians on Twitter ae fuming with anger over a recent video of former BBNaija housemate, Ozo.
Ozo paid a visit to celebrity fashion designer, Mai Atafo but what really got fans talking was the fact that a UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICER opened the car door for him when he arrived. Fans are saying the police officer’s action is demeaning to the entire Nigerian Police Force.

This police officer is meant to protect 200m Nigerians but here he is escorting and opening car doors for a BBN contestant. Why does he need a police escort? Can’t he get private guards or bouncers? What sort of country is this?
There is no police post in my town which has about 3000 Nigerians. They have resort to self help with hunters and vigilante groups but we have police officers running errands and opening doors for BBN contestants and yahoo boys in Lagos.
This is not the Nigeria of my dream !!!

The Accra region commander of Ghana Police Service (GPS), Afful Boakye-Yiadom, has advised his colleagues to reduce their sexual rounds ahead of the country’s general elections.
According to him reducing their sex rounds ahead of the elections will help them to effectively discharge their duties.
He gave the advise during a route march held by the police service to show its readiness for the elections.
In his words,
“Control yourself, we all need the energy to work during the election I, therefore, advise all of you to eat well, reduce your sexual rounds for you to get the energy to work well before, during and after 2020 elections”.

In other news, Ghanaian plastic surgeon, Dr. Dominic Kwame Obeng-Andoh recently took to Instagram to brag about his wife’s shape which he intentionally sculpted.
