Wizkid finally set to drop “Made In Lagos” album on the 15th of October
Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, popularly known by his stage name Wizkid appears to finally be ready to drop his much anticipated album, “Made In Lagos”.
The star boy, took to his official Instagram page to announce that he will be releasing a track off the album by 12pm today, September 17th, 2020.

Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ housemate, Laycon has revealed why he would want fellow housemate, Ozo to leave the reality TV show.
According to Laycon, he sees the Europe-based contestant as a strong competition and would not want to be pitted against him in the grand finale.
Speaking during his diary session with Biggie on Wednesday, September 16, Laycon also said he would have wanted Neo out of the show had he been given the chance to renominate housemates.
He was asked who are the two housemates he would nominate if he had the chance to change his decision.
“For me I would have said Ozo because he’s the competition. He’s probably like a strong guy in the house,
“I wouldn’t want to come up against him in the finale. And even if I’m going to, I’d like it to be a way that I still have an advantage which means he would run through this whole eviction process.
“And the second person I would have chosen is Neo because I feel like he hasn’t been up[for eviction] for the past three weeks.” he said.
Recall that, Ozo, Laycon, Dorathy and Trikytee are the housemates up for possible eviction this week.
The seven remaining contestants on the show are Laycon, Nengi, Vee, Ozo, Neo, Trickytee and Dorathy.
Nengi has secured her spot in the final week, courtesy of her winning the Head of House task, while Neo and Vee sailed through to the final week after escaping nomination this week.

The actress shared the good news on her Instagram page as well wishers took to her comment section to congratulate her.

Laycon opens up on how he coped with Kiddwaya and Erica’s relationship in the BBNaija house
Big Brother Naija housemate, Laycon has opened up on how he was able to cope with Erica and Kiddwaya’s relationship in the house despite having feelings for the disqualified housemate.
According to him, it was easy for him to be fine with Kidd and Erica because he started to see Kidd as a friend and Erica as his friend’s lover.
The singer disclosed this last night in a discussion with his best friends in the house, Neo and Vee
He also reminisced about a time in the house when Erica called his attention to the fact that he was getting closer with Kidd.

Poverty and demography has helped Nigeria in fight against COVID-19 – PTF
The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has asserted that poverty and demography has helped in the fight against the novel deadly disease.
The Task Force’ national coordinator, Sani Aliyu who said this while appearing before a joint senate committee on health and aviation, maintained that poverty and demography helped in reducing the infection rate across the country.
In his words ;
“Demographically, only 3% of Nigerians are above the age 65 as against 20%, 18%, etc, of such populations in European and American countries where death casualties were high.
“Aggressive nature of African countries against the pandemic also helped tremendously in containing the spread of the pandemic in Nigeria and many of the African Countries ”
Nigeria’s confirmed first case of the coronavirus was on February 27, 2020, and as of September 15, while more than 50,000 infections have been recorded, less than 1200 deaths have been recorded and over 40,000 patients have recovered.

A Nigerian man has caused a stir on Twitter after saying that, Dangote can buy Ferrari for everyone in Abia and still be the richest man.
The Twitter user said this in reaction to the recent purchase of three Ferrari Portofino cars by billionaire Femi Otedola for his daughters.
According to the user identified as @Waspappinp_ on Twitter, Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote can do more than that by buying Ferrari’s for every citizen in Abia state and still maintain his status as the richest man.
However, @Waspapping_ in a recent tweet, said; “Dangote can buy each citizen of Abia state a Ferrari and still be the richest man in Africa.”

Ozo became the owner of the brand new automobile after he emerged as the winner of a task which was sponsored by Innoson Vehicles.
The consultant and his fellow housemate, Neo, had emerged as the finalist of the task which saw other housemates dropping out one after the other.
Unfortunately, in the last leg of the competition which required housemates revealing numbers that they had previously memorized, Neo lost to Ozo.
The housemates were given the opportunity to check the car prize which was parked in the arena. Fellow housemates Trikkytee, Laycon, Dorathy and Nengi also joined him in the moment of jubilation.
Ozo is to receive the car once he leaves the BBNaija house.
Recall that after Kiddwaya’s eviction on Sunday, Ozo revealed that he has decided to be focused and stay on his own for the remaining two weeks in the house.
According to him, Kiddwaya‘s eviction gave him hard reset, hence the need for his decision to be focused and stay on his own.
In his words,
“Kiddwaya’s eviction before me gave me a hard reset despite my week of infringement and strike.
“Now I’ve decided to be focused for these two weeks and stay on my lane.” He added.
However, Ozo has now made his decision to turn over a new leaf known to other housemates, during a discussion among them shortly after Kiddwaya’s eviction.

A Nigerian lady who spoke her first class degree into existence, has taken to Twitter to give testimony after graduating with distinction.
The lady identified as Anita Ada Anosike, quoted a tweet of hers from 2018 where she predicted that she’ll graduate with a first class degree.
The graduate of Pure and Industrial chemistry from the University of Port Harcourt, shared a photo of her certificate and gave thanks to God for helping her fulfill her goal.

Embattled Nigerian socialite, Hushpuppi appears to be in more trouble way as a new evidence has been submitted against him in California.
The new evidence that was submitted against the embattled Big Boy, who was apprehended months ago in Dubai and extradited to the United States for allegedly being part of a network that swindled “hundreds of millions of dollars” from business email compromise frauds and other scams, shows that he used his personal email to register on a website “whizzlog” which is a market place for buying US bank logs and money laundering.
It was also alleged that his email address contained registration confirmation from Whizzlog and numerous confirmation and receipts of bank logs he purchased.

The remaining housemates played the Innoson task challenge and the final round was between Neo and Ozo. Ozo, then chose the right number (41) in the task and won the Innoson 2020 IVM Caris.
After he emerged winner, the housemates jumped into his new ride, with his love interest, Nengi occupying the front seat and cheering him on.
His car gift will be waiting for him outside the house on the final day of reality show.

Kanye West has shared shocking footage of himself urinating on a Grammy Award as he ‘goes into battle’ against labels Universal and Sony to try and retrieve the rights to his own music.
The rapper, 43, posted the vision to his Twitter feed on Wednesday afternoon, which showed one of his 21 Grammys placed inside of a toilet bowl.
‘Trust me… I WON’T STOP,’ West captioned the clip, which referred to his current bid to gain ownership of his masters – otherwise known as the copyright to his original songs.
On Monday, West started attacking the structure of the music industry, declaring that musicians actually had little to no power because record labels owned all of their work.
He took aim at his labels Universal and Sony and vowed not to release any new music until he was freed from his contracts with them.
West also shared the screenshots of a private contract he signed with Universal back in 2011, just minutes after he tweeted: ‘I feel so humbled and blessed that God has put me in a strong enough position to do this … Everyone keep praying.. It’s working… I am on my knees this morning.’
He then appeared to address black artists directly, and claimed that there needed to be an overhaul in the business.
‘We’ve gotten comfortable with not having what we deserve … they [record labels] allow us to have a little money from touring, get some gold chains, some alcohol, some girls and fake numbers that feed our egos … but we don’t own our masters,’ he wrote.
He further accused the media of ‘trying to kill’ black , including Michael Jackson.
He also riffed on the Black Lives Matter movement, by tweeting: ‘BLACK MASTERS MATTER’.
West also referenced his wife, Kim Kardashian, by joking that she was working as his lawyer throughout the process.

Veteran actress, Louisa Nwobodo dies at age 78
Veteran Nollywood actress, Louisa Nwobodo has died at the age of 78.
Louisa Nwobodo passed on after she was said to have slumped in her car at St. Mulumbas Catholic Church, New haven, Enugu.
It was learnt that she was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. Her corpse has been deposited at the morgue pending conclusion of her burial arrangement.
Before her death, she starred in hit movies like Johnbull and RoseKate and had carved a name for herself in the industry.
Similarly, Until her death, she was a popular movie star from the late 1990s to the 2000s.
Nwobodo is known for her roles in some of Nollywood’s classics; Indemnity (2006), Never Say Goodbye (2003), and Made in Cambridge (2006).
In other news, another Nollywood actor, Prof. Ayobami Akinwale reportedly died on Sunday, September 13th, 2020, after a brief illness.
The late actor doubled as a Professor in the Department of Performing Arts at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin.
The late actor directed many movies and played some important roles in some top Nollywood movies.

Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Kiddwaya has countered his father’s earlier statement about giving Erica half of the N85 million prize money if he won the reality show.
Recall that during an interview with Dele Momodu on Instagram, Kiddwaya’s father, Terry Waya said he will tell his son to give Erica half of the ultimate prize money if he emerged as the winner. This was prior to his eviction.
In his words,
“If my son should win, i will make sure he gives her half of his wins and then the rest half to charity.
However, during an interview with Hot FM on Sept 16, Kidd was asked if he would have gone through with his father’s decision. Kidd expressed his displeasure with it and said he wouldn’t have given a penny to anyone.
According to him, the money would have been put into better use if he had won and to solve better issues.
He said the money would have gone to his foundation as there are people who need the money.

Nigerian Disk Jockey and Producer, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has revealed that she and her songstress sister, Tolani Otedola are both single.
The billionaire heiress, disclosed this as she responded to netizens on social media who have been talking about her and her since after she announced that her father bought Ferraris for herself and her two sisters.
When asked who she and her sister are dating, DJ Cuppy stated that they are both single.

Temi Otedola got a brown Ferrari, Tolani got a blue Ferrari and DJ Cuppy, who is obsessed with pink got a pink Ferrari.
Sharing the photo on her social media page, she wrote,
“Papa took us shopping and bought ONE of EACH! ??”
