#BBNaija : “Telling Laycon to apply pressure on Erica was a friendly advice”- Brighto. (Video)

Former Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ housemate, Brighto, has opened up on the reason he urged Laycon to go for Erica despite knowing she was into Kiddwaya.

The sailor developed a niche at giving relationship tips and advice to his fellow housemates and on one occasion, he told Laycon to ”apply pressure” on Erica and maybe she would accept his love advances.

Speaking in an interview on why he told Laycon to do that, he said he was just trying to help a friend.

In Brighto’s words, it was a candid advice from a friend, i told Laycon ”if you want a girl, apply pressure”.

Wathoni on her part dropped some inside details about Erica and Kiddwaya’s ”doings” in the house. The mother-of-one confirmed that she’d seen Erica and kiddwaya engage in raunchy escapades in the house.

It can be recalled that Erica had confirmed that she had sex with Kiddwaya while the pair were in the Head of House lounge.

Since the pair shared the Head of House lounge during the fourth week of the show, many fans have been speculating that they actually got down with each other during that time. (Read more here)

Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, Laycon has stated that he became a housemate of this season’s reality show to catch cruise.

Laycon said this in a private conversation with fellow housemate, Dorathy on Thursday night. He noted that at first, what was in his head was just the cruise in Big Brother’s house.

In his words,

“Me, in my head it was to come and catch cruise. The whole thing was cruise from the beginning. Clicking on that link na cruise carry me reach here. I did it because of the billboard.”

Laycon had been applauded by viewers and fellow housemates as one of the strongest contenders for the N85 million grand prize.

Meanwhile earlier this week, Laycon, Vee and Nengi won themselves 1 million naira each and an all expense paid trip to the Johnnie Walker House in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The housemates were divided into four teams which includes; Team Red Label (Lucy and Prince), Team Gold Label (Laycon, Vee and Nnegi), Team Black Label (Erica, Trikytee and Kiddwaya), and Team White Label (Ozo, Dorathy and Neo).

Layco, Nengi, and Vee belonged to Team Gold and emerged winners of the Johnnie Walker challenge.

The task was to paint a Johnnie Walker structure and they were meant to show their creativity while at it.

Their team scored 91 points to beat the other three teams.

BBNaija housemate, Lucy has revealed the reason she refused to be in the same group with Kiddwaya for the house wager task.

Recall Lucy on Thursday, caused an argument in the house after she declined to be in the same group with Kiddwaya.

She got into a shouting match with Prince and Erica who accused her of being disrespectful to the Head of House and the deputy.

However, Erica approached her on Thursday night asking why she hates to be in the same group with Kiddwaya, describing it as unfair.

Lucy reveals

Lucy explained that she refused to have Kiddwaya in her group because they failed the last time they were in the same group.

She said,

“I don’t have anything against him, I just said I cannot work together with Kiddwaya, because whenever we work together our group fails.

“Do you expect me to keep doing that. I would only stay in a group with Kiddwaya if Big Brother was the one that shared the group and made it compulsory,” Lucy added.

A Twitter user identified with the handle, @open_mouth_ has taken to platform to mock billion daughter, Temi Otedola, over her relationship with Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi.

Open_mouth stated that the singer won’t marry Temi regardless of what she does.

Temi shared a picture of herself having a good time at an undisclosed location when the Twitter user seized the opportunity to troll her for using Mr. Eazi’s photo as her profile picture.

In reaction to Temi’s tweet, the user wrote,

Recently evicted BBNaija housemate, Wathoni, has confirmed that she has seen Erica and kiddwaya engage in raunchy escapades in the house.

It can be recalled that Erica had confirmed that she had sex with Kiddwaya while the pair were in the Head of House lounge.

Since the pair shared the Head of House lounge during the fourth week of the show, many fans have been speculating that they actually got down with each other during that time.

They spent the full week together after Erica won the Head of House challenge and choose Kiddwaya, her love interest, as her deputy.

Speaking about that period with Neo earlier today, she confirmed that the pair did ‘crazy things’ while further stating that they did everything possible.

In an interview she sat for with Brighto, the mother of one revealed that she has also seen the couple do ‘bad stuff’ because her bed is beside Kiddwaya’s. Wathoni went on to state that she has always known that her issue with Erica is because of Kiddwaya, but she refused to admit that.

“The attraction was because he is a cute guy, he speaks well that’s it.

“I know about everything that has been going on. They’ve been doing bad stuff and I knew about it. Sometimes I see them.

“My bed is beside Kiddwaya’s. And I feel like her issues with me have always been because of Kiddwaya but she keeps denying it but it has always been Kiddwaya.”

A Nigerian Twitter user, identified as Seun on the microblogging platform took to his page to share before and after photos of himself after he stopped doing drugs.

As can be seen in the photos, Seun when he was still a drug addict, looks lean and unhealthy compared to when he stopped being one where he looks more vibrant and healthier.

His photos has since gone viral on the Nigerian space of the platform as a lot of people urge others who are still drug abusers, to use him as a reference on why they should stop doing drugs.

Controversial investigative journalist, Miss Kemi Olunloyo has revealed that she is happy that she doesn’t have a daughter.

According to Madame Kemi, she feels sometimes that parents of daughters in this age are useless carefree ignorant people.

Former YBNL act, Victor, popularly referred to as Viktoh has opened about his challenges since leaving the record label.

In an interview with Tooxclusive, Viktoh shared more details about his plans for the future and his music career.

According to him, his lastest song which features Zlatan took him about a year to record. He stated that he never expected the track to garner positive reviews as it is doing now. On releasing the track, he said he reached out to many big artistes to help invest and sponsor his music but he got no response.

Speaking on leaving YBNL, Viktoh said it has not been easy financially because there’s a huge difference between being under a record label and being an independent act. He disclosed that he has to sponsor himself to push his music and vowed never to release music again if he wasn’t going to get any sponsors.

He also spoke about his forthcoming EP and confirmed that it features the likes of Buju, Dremo, Zlatan, and possibly Lil Kesh. He further disclosed that he has an album that would be released after the EP.

Four women arrested for allegedly selling newborn baby for N1.5m (Photo)

National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP officials arrested four women for allegedly selling a newborn for N1,500,000.

The women were paraded before newsmen on Thursday, September 3. According to NAPTIP officials, two of the women, Bernadette Ihezuo and Cecilia Onyema, are civil servants with the Federal Ministry of Finance Abuja, and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, respectively.

The third suspect, Okasi Ekeoma, is said to be Onyema’s sister, while the fourth suspect is the baby’s grandmother Harrieth Nmezi who resides in Imo state.

According to NAPTIP officials, the teenage girl got pregnant while staying with her mother who then took her to Onyema’s residence where she lived until she delivered her baby. Immediately after delivery, the other women took the child from the young mother and sold off the baby.

They were arrested following a tipoff received by some members of the public.

The baby has been rescued while the suspects have confessed to the crime and will be arraigned in court soon.

A Catholic priest, Fada Oluoma, of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja has revealed that a lady’s virginity is to facilitate her relationship with God and not for her husband.

According to the priest, no man deserves a lady’s virginity, he went further to add that virginity should not be a gift to any man.

Father Oluoma, slammed parents who ignore their male children and only teach their female children how to be virgins.

He noted that one randy boy can impregnate up to 20 girls because their parents didn’t team them same thing they taught their girl child, and they will make nonsense of the lesson you have taught your girls.

Father Oluoma went further to tell ladies that no man deserves their virginity, that virginity is not a gift to their husbands.

He said,

“Parents you only teach girls to be virgins, it’s only the girl children you teach virginity.As Fr. Kelvin put it, you are teaching your daughters to be virgins, your neigbour is teaching her daughters to be virgins.

“Listen, your virginity is not a gift to your husband, no man deserves your virginity. Is he a virgin himself? The reason the Bible asked you to be a virgin is Matthew 5. (Blessed are the pure for they shall see God).

Inter Milan and Chilean striker has revealed he wanted to leave Manchester United and return to Arsenal after his first training session.

Man Attempts To Cut Off Woman’s Breast For Ritual In Anambra (Graphic Photo)

A 41-year-old man, Ogbonna Nwankwo, pictured has been apprehended by men of the Anambra state police command for allegedly attempting to kill a woman, Bella Joseph, and cutting off her breast on Wednesday, September 2.

Disclosing this to newsmen, spokesperson of the state police command, Haruna Mohammed, said Ogbonna took Bella to Dollar Inn motel in Ihite in Orumba South local government area to lodge.

He said while they lodged in their hotel room, the suspect allegedly used a knife to stab Bella and was attempting to cut off her breast when her cry for help was heard by the motel manager who came to her rescue.

“Suspect allegedly attempted to murder the lady inside the motel room by stabbing victim with a knife on her stomach and tried to cut off her right side breast using the same knife probably for ritual purpose thinking she was dead before he was apprehended following her shout for help which attracted attention of the motel manager”

Haruna said police operatives attached to Umunze division were invited and they rushed the victim to a specialist hospital in Nnewi where she is being treated. He added that the suspect who was seriously manhandled by a mob and beaten to stupor was equally arrested by the police and taken to the hospital for treatment under police guard.

He said a blood-stained knife was recovered at the scene as an exhibit. Haruna said the case has been transferred to the State Criminal investigation department for discreet investigation in order to unravel the actual circumstances surrounding the incident.

9-year-old girl dies after her mother applied pesticide on her lice-infested hair

A nine-year-old girl in rivers state, reportedly lost her life after her mother applied pesticide on her hair to kill lice.

According to report, the deceased mother followed her hairdressers advice to use sniper to get rid of lice in her daughters hair.

Dr Gloria Nwosu, a pediatrician at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, disclosed this to newsmen at a press conference on Thursday, September 3rd.

She said the woman followed the advice of her hairdresser and put the pesticide on the hair of two of her daughters, aged nine and four, respectively.

Nwosu noted that after applying the harmful liquid, the nine-year-old girl convulsed for hours before she died and that the prompt effort of the doctors in the hospital helped save the life of the four-year-old.

In her words,

“Their mother felt that the hairdresser would know what to do since it has to do with lice. We did everything we could to bring the child back to normal, but it was all abortive.

“She (the deceased) was very sick. The second child slumped in our presence and we immediately admitted her and gave her an antidote. So, the question now is how many of these children may have gone through this?

“It affected her brain because she convulsed for over two hours. Now, there is something we do to check for oxygen saturation; it remained low. It never went back to normal. Then they can have something coming out from their mouth. This child kept pouring out saliva. It never went off until she passed on.

“They also have high blood pressure. This child’s blood pressure was high. We saw all those symptoms on this child,” Nwosu said

A Nigerian-American lady, Jackie Aina, has shown utmost appreciation to her mother for all the things she has done by acquiring an expensive car for her.

“The only way to a fruitful marriage is total submission on the part of the wife. Until it is in place, every other thing she tries to do will be out of place. The Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ house experienced yet another verbal altercation on Thursday as housemates were gearing up for their task presentation.

One of the most talked about contestants in this year’s edition, Lucy, was at the center of that altercation as Prince, Neo and Erica lambasted her for seemingly trying to sabotage team efforts in the house. (Read Here)

Later on, Lucy and Dorathy were engaged another heated conversation and the latter boldly told the former that she did not interfere in the previous raucous because she (Lucy) was wrong and refused to listen to words of reason.

Starboy who posted the photos without any caption have left his fans to play the guess game and determine what is happening.

A quite young Nigerian mother has caused a frenzy on Nigerian social media after she shared lovely photos of herself posing with her first son and the two could pass for a couple.

The lady and her son’s photos has had a lot of people on social media in talks with many in doubt whether or not the gentleman in the photos is actually her son or her lover.

The lady identified as Ada Ujaligwa took to her Facebook page recently to share the really lovely photos of herself with a fully grown man who actually could pass for her partner but introduced him as her “first son”.

Ada, who has an admirable amount of followers on the social networking platform revealed that she was off to the gym with her son as they were both clad in sport wears.

The now viral pictures has had Nigerians talking — while many were of the notion that she probably got pregnant at an early age and applauded her for keeping the baby, others, especially ladies were of the opinion she is old enough to be the mother of the said man but might just have a naturally small body stature.

In yet another prove that love conquers all things, a Ugandan comedian, Godfrey Baguma aka Ssebabi who has been dubbed as the world’s ugliest man, recently got married to his third wife in a grand style.

The bride and groom were recently joined in holy matrimony and they look so happy in the pictures going viral on social media.

Godfrey Baguma, 47, who is believed to suffer from a rare, unknown medical condition, and his second wife Kate Namanda, 30, welcomed a baby girl some years ago.

Baguma won the less-than-favourable title in 2002, after he entered the competition to make money for family.

Before his marriage to Kate, Godfrey had two children with his first wife – but their marriage came to an end when he caught her cheating.

Ssebabi’, is a father of seven. He earned his nick name ‘Ssebabi’ after winning in the ugliest man contest. He lives in Kyazanga, Lwengo district, and is married to Kate Namande, 28, with whom he has five children and newly married to his third wife.

Big Brother Naija 2020 housemate, Dorathy Bachor has cleared the air on why she slept on the same bed with Laycon last week Tuesday.

Recall that Dorathy in a video which circulated on social media platforms days back, caused tongues to wag when after she was seen fondling with Laycon’s hair on the same bed and asking him not to leave when he made an attempt to move away.

But while having a conversation with Prince on Thursday, September 3, Dorathy said she slept on Laycon’s bed because she was cold that night and needed some warmth.

A Benue State University graduate identified as Krayzietee Atu, has carved Big Brother Naija Lockdown housemate, Kiddwaya’s name on his head.

Atu who is a big fan of the billionaire son, took to social media to plead with his follower to support Kiddwaya.

The kiddwaya’s Stan is seen on Facebook, begging his followers on the platform , to support and vote Kiddwaya who is up for possible eviction alongside Nengi, Laycon, Vee and Lucy.

Susan, mother of BBNaija housemate, Kiddwaya, has taken to Facebook to reveal that her son is not a woman wrapper but a man who has his own will and cannot be manipulated.

In a recent post which she shared via her Facebook page, she noted that her son, Kiddwaya is not any way a woman wrapper.

Speaking further, she said he is a focused man who cannot be easily manipulated.
