Big Brother Naija 2019 contestant, Tuoyo Ideh has taken to his social media page to reveal the lie he told during his time on the reality show.
Tuoyo had made fans believe he was a ‘part-time stripper’ and he lived up to the profession with his ‘stripper’ styled Friday night part performances.
However, the reality star has now come out to say he’s been living a lie.
His post on Instagram reads ;
For over a year now I’ve been living a lie. Some people have advised me to go on with it but I fear for my mental health and my future so I’ve chosen to come out.
Big brother was my biggest shot at fame and nothing in the world could have stopped me from grabbing it with both hands but somehow I felt like I wasn’t enough and I needed to do more and BE more in order to stay relevant and to get some extra clout. I was desperate, the magnitude of the competition i was going for even made me more desperate so I attached a tag to myself – “I’m a Part-time Stripper” I said to the whole world. I got the hype I wanted but it was unsustainable, I couldn’t live up to it because actually that’s not who I am but because I have the body I tried to force it, to push if I could keep living the lie to make it become truth but the more I did, the more I regretted. I wasn’t deriving any pleasure and in fact I felt like I was making a fool of myself so I had to stop. And I’m here to say I’m sorry I lied, no one is perfect, my ultimate strategy has turned back to hurt my reputation and my brand.

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels took to her Instagram page earlier today to share a new photo of her lovely son, Munir.
The actress shared the lovely photo which has since gathered over a hundred thousand likes on the photo sharing app, with the simple caption “My Prince”
She and her husband, Ned Nwoko recently named President Buhari’s daughter, Halima Buhari Sheriff and actress, Annie Idibia as godmothers of their son, Munir Neji Ned Nwoko.
The couple revealed this in the 8th episode of their YouTube series, Our Circle — the video covered all the important highlights of their baby’s naming ceremony.
In the video, Annie Idibia, wife of Nigerian music icon, 2Baba and President Buhari’s daughter Halima Buhari were named as their son’s godmothers.
According to Ned Nwoko, both godmothers couldn’t make it to the naming ceremony, because they were not informed on time.

We have a Special Doctor in Military Hospital who started from scratch; we ran series of tests which came out that one of my wife’s Fallopian tube was blocked. Every three months My wife was going to the Hospital for thorough flushing of the womb which was very painful to bear which led to hotness of my wife’s womb.
We have always thought that it was a medical issue, we did all the medical tests and treatments but all to avail.
Later the Doctor affirmed that she is okay and free to give birth but still nothing was forthcoming.
Pastor Walter Zach opened our eyes to understand that the issue is not a medical but spiritual, In the cause of deliverance a lot of thing were revealed; those who were responsible for our Childlessness were all exposed and all they did were destroyed.
In 2011 our marriage became 21 years and the yoke was broken and God gave us a bouncing Baby boy and after two years God bless us with twins(Two Girls).

According to Eva, they forget that Jesus simply spoke to the ‘demons’ and asked them to leave, so they should emulate Jesus and speak to their demons.

In other news, the Nigerian gospel artist recently made the list of 100 most influential African women.

The list was compiled by Avance Media, and these women were drawn from 34 African countries with their respective contribution to the development of Africa being considered.

The chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mohammed Mustapha Abdalla, has proposed to carry out drug tests for single ladies before getting married.
Abdalla made this known on Friday, August 21, while destroying seized illicit substances in Maiduguri, revealing that they are planning making the move a prerequisite for Nigerian churches and mosques.
Abdalla stated that drug tests may be included in premarital screenings due to the increase in rate of cannabis sativa, cocaine and heroin addiction among women in the country.
“As an extension of the proposed Drug Integrity Test Policy for the public servants, the agency is considering partnering with religious leaders to make drug testing a prerequisite for marriages in churches and mosques as the case for HIV/AIDS.” He said.

Meanwhile, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has formally written to the federal government, requesting for a date for the reopening of negotiations, which were abandoned in February due to the disagreement over the implementation of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).
The union also urged the federal government to initiate a process that would lead to the validation of its alternative salary payment platform, the University Transparency and Accountability Solution (UTAS).
It demanded that government should pull out all academic staff already captured on IPPIS and enrol them on UTAS.

Suspected Ibadan serial killer, Sunday Shodipe who escaped from police custody on August 18 has revealed how he fled the Mokola Police Station in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Shodipe explained that he escaped when the police officer on duty was distracted.
Speaking to newsmen, he said;
“The new female DPO asked officer Funsho to allow me take my bath. He cautioned me not to try to escape when I am taking my bath.
“I escaped when I saw him discussing with another person. I climbed the borehole pole and jumped the fence. The people living in the area saw me when I escaped but they did not raise any alarm.”
The suspect was re-arrested on Sunday August 23, at Iwo Road by a group with the additional aid of a tactical team who had previously worked with the Special Adviser on Security Matters to Governor Makinde, Fatai Owoseni in Akure.

Yesterday, a video of a lady who rejected her boyfriend of 5 years in the middle of a road went viral, attracting outrage and sympathy from social media users.
However, the video has turned out to be a comedy skit shot by two upcoming comedians.
In the video, the man is seen going down on one knee to ask the woman to marry him. The woman didn’t seem pleased and she walked away.
The man starts crying at this point and goes after the woman then kneels again.
The entertainers, Owerri Chic and Chineke-Boy Comedian have now posted a behind-the-scene video which shows the supposed “proposal gone wrong” was nothing to be taken seriously.
Many Nigerians who believed the story are angry and has cursed the entertainers to surfer for 600 years.

Nigerian rapper, Tipsy Enupo has lamented over how single ladies are treated in the country.
According to Tipsy, it has gotten to the point where death is better than being single in Nigeria because there are a bunch of backward people in the country.

BBNaija housemates, Kiddwaya and Erica were spotted having a late night conversation after Tolanibaj refused to use the sheets in the Head of House room after catching them in a “suspicious” position.
Kiddwaya was heard asking Erica if he “beat up the pus*y” while they conversed about their time together.
Erica was heard jokingly saying that Tolanibaj said she doesn’t trust the sheets.

Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ housemate, Erica Nlewedim has revealed why she voted to evict Vee and Wathoni during yesterday’s live eviction.
Vee and Wathoni were among the bottom four housemates up for possible eviction and their fate was left in the hands of other housemates to save or evict them. Erica chose Vee and Wathoni to be evicted and she said she did that because she felt like they’d do the same to her if she were in that position.
She made the disclosure during her diary session with Biggie.
Erica however said she feels indifferent about the outcome of the final votes as both Vee and Wathoni escaped eviction.

Nigerian superstar singer, Davido has narrated how he was subjected to racism while in college in Alabama, United States.

“It’s crazy, because I’m from both America and Africa, so I know how both sides think. I went to school in Alabama. I went to college at 15. I was very young. And Alabama was a predominantly white state.
“So being an African kid in a university where it’s 13% black people, it’s amazing. It’s not easy. I had to learn a lot of the things when I was like, “Yo, why you look at me like that?” And not even just being black, being African. They used to ask me questions like, “Yo, how’d you get to America?” I’m like, “What you mean? I came on a plane.” “Oh, y’all got airports?
“It’s crazy because like I said, I grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, this was when I was 15, 16, so I’ve always understood like, yo, this is going to happen. You know what I’m saying? Sometimes just because of the color of your skin, you might not get a lot of honesty from somebody. You feel me? So it was just crazy.
“The other way I look at it, we’re screaming Black Lives Matter, right? But we killing ourselves too. So the conversation is both sided, it goes both ways.”
Basketball legend, Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant honored him with a personal letter and emotional tribute on Instagram on what would have been his 42nd birthday.
The NBA star and his daughter Gianna, along with seven others, were killed January 26 in a helicopter crash, and Vanessa took to social media to honour him.
Celebrating his posthumous birthday, Vanessa wrote on her page,
“To my baby~ Happy birthday. I love you and miss you more than I can ever explain. I wish you and Gigi were here to celebrate YOU! I wish I could make you your fav food or a birthday cake with my Gigi.”
“I miss your big hugs, your kisses, your smile, your loud ass deep laugh. I miss teasing you, making you laugh and bursting your bubble. I miss you sitting on my lap like my big baby that you are. I think about your tenderness and patience all the time. I think about everything you would do in situations to help me deal with everything thrown my way,” Vanessa wrote.
“Thank you for growing up with me and teaching me how to be strong. How to try to see the best in people but cutout the bs. Your thoughtful gestures and the amazing way you made us all feel is extremely missed. I picture your smile and wide big welcoming hugs daily,” she continued.
“God I miss you both so much. Our lives feel so empty without you and Gigi. I’ve been completely broken inside. As much as I want to cry, I put a smile on my face to make our daughters days shine a little brighter. I’m not the strong one, they are. They’re strong and resilient. I’m sure you’re proud of them. They put a smile on my face everyday,” Vanessa said.
“I wish I could wake up from this horrible nightmare. I wish I could surprise our girls and welcome you and Gigi home to us. I’m mad I didn’t go first. I always wanted to go first so that I selfishly didn’t have to feel this heartache. You were supposed to miss me. Gigi was supposed to be here with her sisters. It should’ve been me.”

Recall that Vee told Laycon to avoid Erica and move on after she refused his advances and became Kiddwaya’s bae.
During the eviction live show last night, the host Ebuka mentioned this and asked Vee why she gave Laycon that advise, thus making it public information.
This obviously unsettled Erica who approached her love interest Kiddwaya for advise.
Kiddwaya had this to say,
“I don’t trust anybody because I know they are all pretentious but the advice Vee gave Laycon was not from a malicious place.
“It’s a game, I’m enjoying myself. I have a great woman.
“I just take this as an opportunity to meet with amazing people and this platform. A lot of people applied to be here but did not get in.

The football legend, earlier this year Kanu Nwankwo celebrated his lovely wife, Amara Kanu as she turned 34, as he took to Twitter at the time to say sweet things about her.
