The general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Suleman has joined other Nigerians to react to the death sentence that was given by a sharia court in Kano to a Nigerian singer for blasphemy.
According to the Apostle, the act of forgiving a terrorist and sentencing a singer to death for blasphemy is considered the worst form of self deceit.
On Tuesday he tweeted,
“A country that pardons terrorists wants to kill a man for blasphemy. I am sure even Saudi Arabia is shocked…the worst form of deception is self deceit'”.
see the tweet below,
Recall that, the country recently pardoned more than 600 terrorist and reintegrated them in the community, while 22-year-old, Yahaya was sentenced to death by an upper sharia court in Kano, for committing blasphemy in a song that was circulated on Whatsapp.

The Apple Music Radio host, in a recent post on her Insta stories, suggested that she just might stay single forever if her search for a better half continues to be futile.
DJ Cuppy took to her Instastory to talk about her single status as she insinuated that men should shoot their shot.
According to her, her situation appears so irreversible that she suspects she’s going to remain single forever adding that it’s a good thing she already loves herself.
“AT THIS RATE, I’M GOING TO BE SINGLE FOREVER…AND EVER” she said. Then she added; OH WELL, GOOD THING I’M IN LOVE WITH MYSELF…”
Nollywood actress, Sylvia Oluchy has berated photographers who have cultivated the culture of issuing out fame as a compensation for injustice and poverty.
Sylvia Oluchy whose tweets centered on how Olajumoke Orisaguna turned out after she became famous and the recent photo campaigns of the woman whose husband allegedly abandoned for giving birth to daughters with blue eyes, noted that issuing out fame as compensation for injustice and poverty is instrincally flawed.
Her tweets read ;
This culture of photographers issuing out FAME as a compensation for injustice and poverty is instrincally flawed. Fame is not a reward. Fame is actually ENDURED in exchange for living your dreams. Celebrities will tell you their utopia is to keep the success and lose the fame.
People who require fame to boost their craft eg Actors, Musicians, Politicians usually go through a long period termed “paying your dues” where they develop a thick skin and learn to tolerate all the BS that comes with being popular.
Throwing poor illiterates into the spot light is like throwing a baby in the deep end first to teach it how to swim
I recall the breadseller who TY Bello made famous. Illiteracy & her naivety meant she couldn’t convert the sudden fame to anything substantial & there’s always someone lurking to take advantage of her new status. She later complained about how fame ripped her life apart.
Now it’s the woman with the blue eyes who was called a witch by her husband. Today, I saw a beautiful photoshoot on her. Helping someone would be more beneficial if we helped them progress in things they actually do as opposed to treating fame like a proven remedy to any problem.
The bread seller would have been better off if TY Bello helped her raise money to start her own bakery for example.
These photographers have their hearts in the right place but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Anybody in showbiz will tell you that sustaining fame is harder than getting it. Big brother contestants are a good example
What these photographers fail to realize is that unless they are prepared to stay the course, take these people under their wing, mentor and teach them the business of monetizing their fame for nothing less than 5 years. The fame they give them solves nothing long term.
They’ll be used as poster faces for causes by people with their own agenda and then quickly forgotten. But now because they are popular, they can’t go back to their old life and can’t move forward.
We should help people become the best versions of themselves rather than creating a whole new reality for them. This blue eyed woman, what does she do? If she is a petty trader for example. It might be better to get her a bigger shop and give her capital to upgrade her business.
Perhaps these photographers might want to scour for under appreciated talent and issue those ones fame. They will be better prepared to handle it and ready to tolerate the life upheaval because fame is actually something they desire and need desperately.
Fame is HARD, don’t let the glamour on SM fool you. To sustain it, you REALLY need to WANT it. Now that we know her story, thanks to her photoshoot. Helping her grow at whatever it is she already does will be a longer lasting solution to self sufficiency than instant fame.

Things are happening in the Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ house and y’all might have missed out on some major highlights ; well we got you covered.
An unseen clip making the rounds on social media showed the romantic moment Erica and Kiddwaya enjoyed their ‘private time’ in the head of house lounge and fans have been going crazy over it.
Recall Erica emerged the fourth head of house and unsurprisingly, picked Kiddwaya as her deputy which automatically guaranteed immunity from eviction and would also give them a much-needed private time to bolster their romantic affair.
Well, the couple seized the opportunity and they were caught on camera passionately making out.
Another cut in the video showed the moment a dismayed Laycon stared into nothingness, probably filing his mind with what must have been going on in the HOH room.

32-year-old Geeta Parmar who lives in Maninagar, Gujarat, was recently arrested on suspicion of ‘abetment to suicide’ following a complaint filed by her late husband’s mother-in-law.
The man’s 55-year-old mother, Muli Parmar, claims that Geeta didn’t have sex with her husband, Surndrasinh during the their 22 months married life.
Muli also stated that the lack of sex left her son in ‘mental stress’ as their relationship failed. She further disclosed that they were sleeping in separate beds when she paid the couple a visit.
Surndrasinh revealed to his mother that he and Geeta did not have ‘physical relations’, police report said. Muli alleged that Geeta had ‘taken a vow‘ that she would not engage in intercourse with her husband during their marriage.
”Once I had gone inside my son’s room and found that he and my daughter-in-law were sleeping on different beds,” Muli alleged in her first information report.
‘When I asked my son about this, he told me that they did not have physical relations as Geeta had taken a vow that she would not sleep with her husband.’ Times of India reports that the couple fought frequently over the issue before Geeta moved into her parents’ home.
On July 27, family members returning from a funeral to Surndrasinh’s home discovered he had committed suicide.
Surndrasinh, a railway employee married Geeta, his second wife, in October 2018 following a divorce from his ex-wife two years earlier. The case is under investigation by Shaherkotda police in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
A Nigerian virtuous widow, mother of five children identified as Mrs. Esther Ahmadu, who recently retired as a teacher in the civil service in Kogi State has demonstrated that there is more to motherhood than childbirth.
The unflinching effort of Mrs. Esther Ahmadu over her children despite roaring obstacles is a twin to Sonya Carson’ – the mother of Dr. Ben Carson who went though thin and thick before raising her son who has now become a renowned neurosurgeon in the World. Emmanuel Oluwasayomi Ahmadu, the second of five children of Mrs. Esther Ahmadu went from being a poor student who against repetitive failures and delays soar high to a point of representing both his University and his country – Nigeria, won numerous national and international award competitions.
Emmanuel, professionally known as Mr Voiceover, was pictured in front his mother’s house, showing his gratitude while displaying the numerous awards he received following the impacts he made in Kwara State and Nigeria at large during his just completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in Kwara State.
A true template of motherhood such as Mrs. Esther Ahmadu are great inspiration to others, their stories are acts of courage that can empower millions of other women in the country, and that is why Mrs. Esther Ahmadu should be supported, given national honour and recognition to encourage other African parents on good child upbringing and selfless parenting.
Emmanuel Ahmadu, on 16th July 2020 successfully completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in Kwara State with several awards and recommendations bagged for his selfless service and commitments that restored hope to over 500 community households and 50 schools across 3 Local Government Areas (Ilorin East, Ilorin West, Ilorin South) of Kwara State within 154 days.
On the international front, Emmanuel recently represented Nigeria in Bangladesh, India on 28th July, 2020 via Google Meet virtual conference along side Indian Professors and Mental Health Advocates, where he spoke on “Suicide Prevention” as an offshoot of the Covid-19 pandemic situation which has become a major health challenge across the World. Emmanuel, who seeks financial support and partnership from national and international stakeholders to drive home solutions to Nigeria was able to share innovative ideas from his sensational story and field experiences that have restored hope to over 200,000 people in Edo, Kogi, Kwara and other parts Nigeria and beyond.
Emmanuel told international television network, British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC News that the experience of raising money to register one exam after the other for 17 times in 5 years before he secured admission into the University was a traumatic experience. “My mom has been the one God used in sponsoring majority of my enrollments throughout the 16 primary schools, 14 secondary schools and the entire 17 O’level examination attempts, including the University Matriculation Examinations (UME) I wrote 5 times”.
“As shocking as it may appear, my mom spent virtually all her salaries thereby neglecting her personal needs as a School Teacher, she borrowed money from people, engaged in all types of petty businesses shamelessly and sometimes went the extra mile to obtain bank loan just to sponsor my enrollments and education and that of my other siblings. She trained us in God’s way from childhood and she never gave up on any of her children despite oppossing tides and societal challenges. She encouraged us all the way, she will always say, “don’t be tired, all will become well.”

The beautiful radio personality also took to her social media page to share a sneak peek of his photo, with her followers, a few weeks after his delivery
It is however surprising as the new mum didn’t do that with her first child. It is fast becoming a culture for many Nigerian celebrities to hide the faces of their children for a while before revealing it to the public. For Tolu’s first child, the media woman did not show his face until he celebrated his first birthday.
Her husband, and close friends have so far taken to the comment section to celebrate the dark and handsome boy
In the photo she shared online, a part of Toolz’s face was cut off while her second son’s face was not entirely revealed.
The mom of two revealed her newborn’s name as Oluwafikayomi Eli Ikponmwosa otherwise known as The General.
The new mother wrote; The GENERAL aka Oluwafikayomi Eli Ikponmwosa

In the video shared on YouTube, Regina Daniels son, Munir Neji can be seen being laid in a manger just like Christians’ Lord, Jesus Christ. That particular scene had a lot of people in talks and has caused a stir on social media.
A Facebook user, Snow Enike Gloria Enamino while addressing the issues too, said the Nollywood actress has committed a grave sin because of her actions in the video.
According to Enike, Regina Daniels has sinned for dressing her baby like Jesus Christ. She wrote in the comment section,
“You have sin against our lord Jesus for dressing your baby like Jesus Christ, is your husband a christian?”
Big Brother Naija house is never devoid of daily drama and that is precisely why the show pulls so much crowd.
There was an infamous altercation between Erica and Lucy where they both engaged in a war of words after Lucy failed to explain properly, a statement she made about Kiddwaya.
Both ladies later buried the hatchet at the dinning where they could be heard apologizing to each other.
Watch video below:
ERICA: I’m sorry I insulted you LUCY: it was a joke, I’m sorry as well. If I had any issues with you, I’d come tell you directly. #BBNaijapic.twitter.com/1Py5W1FOV4
Erica was having a conversation with TolaniBaj and Vee as to how she’s attracted to Laycon mentally and attracted to Kiddwaya physically.
Erica noted that she wishes she could have a guy with Kidd’s Physical features and also same guy with Laycon’s mind.
..and then Vee noted that Laycon is physically loaded down there! In her words; “My girl, streets are saying Laycon is….” ..then she emphatically made a gesture noting how huge Laycon’s eggplant is… and then Erica agreed, saying “Exactly”.. TolaniBaj also said, “I heard too”
Apparently, it may have seemed as though Erica cried in the ‘toilet’ after having a heart-to-heart conversation with fellow housemate, Laycon.
Recall when Erica became the head on house for the fourth week on Monday, she had a conversation with Laycon as to who she may choose as the deputy HOH.
Laycon had told her she’s free to choose Kiddwaya as her deputy, and he’d be unbothered. He also noted that regardless of her decision he’d still care for her.
Below is an unseen footage where Erica went to the toilet to cry her eyes out, shortly after having a heartfelt conversation with Laycon.. and then realizing she may loose laycon if she chooses Kiddwaya as her deputy HOH.
Seems BBNaija: Pepper Dem winner, Mercy Eke is quite pissed with the people who have been pestering her to support one of the current Big Brother Naija: Lockdown housemates.
In a live video she made recently, Mercy is seen quite agitated over how people have been bothering her and asking her to pick a favourite. She’s seen telling those who it may concern, to leave her alone… that she’ll done whatever it is that she want whenever she wants.
Mercy went on to say that she’s busy with her life, busy with business and other things and as such, people shouldn’t miss her with the b.s of using her time to pick a favourite housemate. According to her, the reality TV show is just a game and people should move on with their lives.
She’s heard saying,
“I still don’t know these people, I still don’t know them, so when I have time, I’ll do what I want to do… but don’t try to force me, don’t try to make me see……. You can’t force me to like you, like are you mad?! Are you crazy?”
Another infamous altercation was recorded in the Big Brother Naija house on monday morning and yet again, Lucy was involved, this time, with Erica.
It wasn’t quite clear what exactly started the fight, but Erica called out Lucy on a statement she made, and asked her to explain what she means by what she said.
When Lucy didn’t explain, Erica went guns blazing.
She said ;
“You’ve had issues with me today. You probably have brain problems. You have issues with people in the house because of the way you talk! Are you crazy? You’d better shut up!!
Carrying mop on your head like a clown that you are”.
ERICA to LUCY: What do you mean KIDD is the neck, if it doesn’t turn, the head doesn’t turn? Plus why is ERICA so fine even in her vex mode ? #BBNaijapic.twitter.com/U7TPn4MdDV

Multiple award-winning American Singer, Stefani Germanotta professionally known Lady Gaga has revealed she has mental health issues.
Lady Gaga, 34, made the revelations about her mental health during a chat with with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio station today Tuesday August 11.
She said:
‘I wrote a song on Chromatica called 911, and it’s about an anti-psychotic that I take and it’s because I can’t always control things that my brain does and I have to take medication to stop the process that occurs.
”I know I have mental issues and I know that they can sometimes render me non-functional as a human.’
How can I use my humanity to focus on something that I believe to be infinitely more important than what I’ve been through? Which is what the medical community has done.
‘It made me think about the helpers of the world and how their mental states are and how they don’t necessarily have the help that they need.
‘When this is all over whatever that means and things get better whatever that means, who will be there to support them’
‘I don’t lack self awareness and I do understand I’m not the only human on the planet that suffers and I think I have it pretty f****** good and I’m grateful for what I have.’
Former BBNaija housemate and model, Ike Onyeoma has revealed that he is still romantically entangled with his babe, Mercy Eke, who he met while in the BBN house, but they’re yet to be engaged traditionally.
He revealed that he not putting Mercy’s pictures on his social media space and vice versa was a mere strategy to have their fans and brands strong.
The model also noted that they had been incredibly supportive of each other’s businesses as they intentionally reduced posting their pictures on their social media handles.
“We are still doing our thing, we have not officially done the engagement or moved in together yet, but she comes to my place every other day and I go to her place as well.
“We still go to each other’s house and try not to overdo it, maybe stay the night or two, but not too much, just because of tradition.
“When it comes to business, things have gotten a lot better, before it was more like all of us as ex-housemates were in a competition with each other, but now, everyone is finding their place and we are all comfortable helping each other out.
“I will say the Mercy & Ike show was like a blessing because, before the show, we were both focused on our fan base and trying to keep our fan base strong, it was really an idea that promoting one another will weaken our brand.
“Like if I was to promote Mercy, it will weaken my brand or if she was to promote my brand it will weaken her brand, that is the kind of idea people were giving us.
“So, I am now going private, posting just myself and not showing anything about Mercy really calmed things down,” he said.

In a recent post on her Instagram page, she condemned bloggers and tagged them as senseless, unprofessional and incompetent for taking up the story and assuming it was her wedding without confirming from a real source. The reality show is highly coveted among young Nigerians because it has literally turned many unknown talents into stars
However, while the show has produced some of the leading names in Nigeria’s thriving entertainment industry, quite a handful of them who made the show and back have swung into oblivion.

A Nigerian Twitter Stop Rape advocate page has taken to the social networking platform to share the story of an 11-year-old orphan who has been raped severally by her stepfather, and other guys on her street.
The page in a thread narrated the plight of the orphan, who has been sexually molested at a very tender age.
The young lady, captured on camera, is seen narrating how she usually sleeps on the street and is frequently raped by street urchins.
The Twitter page @stop_raping, narrating the little lady’s ordeal wrote,
“this is urgent. Please read the thread and watch this video which was recorded yesterday 10th of August 2020. Precisely around 7 pm. It’s about an eleven-year-old orphan who has no home, no family, she has been raped repeatedly and has been living on the streets,
A passenger (the lady asking questions and making the video) asked her why, then she proceeded to tell whoever cared to listen that She has been raped repeatedly by street thugs, touts, several “molas” and by her step father as well, to the extent that she’s unable to hold pee (urine) for long. She revealed that everyone who raped her said her vagina was too wide for a girl her age. (Probably because she’s an underaged young girl who’s been raped, and taken advantage of repeatedly by men old enough to be her father)
She revealed that she was raped yesterday again by two men in the same Kara area of Mowe. She explained that she had sought help from Police Stations on different occasions where she’s been repeatedly victimised. When asked about her parents,She said she’s an orphan with no relative, her mother is dead and she never met her father. While her stepfather lives in Itori, Ogun State. She’s been sleeping on the streets ever since. When we asked her where she was going to, she said she was headed for Itori.
We asked if she had a place to go to there, she said no, that she would just find anywhere to stay. We decided to take her to the police station in Sango, so that at least she can be helped, she refused, saying the police would not help her, instead they’d arrest her.
We assured her that nothing of such would happen. (She didn’t want to go and she told us to leave her alone) On getting to the police station, while explaining the situation to the officers, one of the female officers slapped the girl twice, then told her to go away.
The Police Officers in Sango could not help this young orphan even after hearing her story. By that time, I had gotten past my bus stop and it was getting really late so I had to go home. This young girl however continued on her journey to God knows where.
(Please note that the Police in Sango Police Station threatened us to delete the video and not post it, that we they’d trace us.) I had to create a burner so as to post this video. All of this happened yesterday 10th of August 2020″.
The page beckoned on well meaning Nigerians to help the girl. Watch the video that was shared below,

The full uncensored footage of Minneapolis officers arresting George Floyd before he died has been released to the public.
The video was initially only available to journalists and few members of the public, but a Hennepin County judge has now ruled that the video be made available for publication.
The video comes from the body cameras of former Minneapolis officers, Thomas Lane and J. Kueng, who are part of four officers involved in George Floyd’s murder.
The footage shows officers arriving at the scene after a complaint that Floyd had attempted to pass a fake $20 bill to buy cigarettes at Cup Foods, a store in the Powderhorn Park section of Minneapolis.
A staff member holding the banknote approaches the officers, saying,
‘Before they drive off. He’s parked right here. It’s a fake bill from the gentleman,’ he tells the cops.
Lane and Kueng both went to Floyd’s blue Mercedes SUV on the other side of the street. Floyd was in the car with his ex-girlfriend, Shawanda Hill, is in the back seat and a friend, Maurice Hall, is in the front
The footage then shows officer Thomas Lane tapping on the window of Floyd’s SUV to confront him about the allegation. When he opened the door Lane pulls out his handgun and points it straight at Floyd’s head.
He then starts pleading with the officers, “Please don’t shoot me, man,” a crying Floyd says. “I just lost my mom, man. I’m so sorry” in the minutes before his death on May 25.
‘Put your f***ing hands up right now! Let me see your other hand,’ the cop is heard saying to Floyd.
Floyd does not immediately put his hands on the wheel. ‘Put your f***ing hand up there,’ Lane orders him again. ‘Jesus Christ, keep your f**king hands on the wheel.’
Floyd tells the officer he had been shot before, and Lane replies: ‘Keep your f***ing hands on the wheel.’
Lane then tells Floyd to put his foot inside the vehicle. ‘I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,’ Floyd replies. ‘God dang man. Man, I got shot the same way, Mr. Officer, before.’
‘Okay. Well when I say ”Let me see your hands,” you put your f***ing hands up,’ Lane responds.
‘Please don’t shoot me, man,’ a crying Floyd says. ‘I just lost my mom, man. I’m so sorry.‘
“I’m not that kind of guy,” Mr Floyd says as he struggles against the officers. “I just had COVID, man, I don’t want to go back to that.”
An onlooker can be heard pleading with Mr. Floyd to stop struggling, saying: “You can’t win.” Mr. Floyd replies, “I don’t want to win.”
A few minutes later, Mr. Floyd was pinned to the ground for nearly 8 minutes and was heard crying in agony, saying “I can’t breathe” before he goes still.”
Derek Chauvin, who held his knee against Mr. Floyd’s neck for nearly eight minutes, is charged with second-degree murder.

Big Brother Naija reality show is one of the biggest platform for talented Nigerians to ”sell their market” to the world and that cannot be over-emphasized.
The reality show is rated-18 and also highly popular among young Nigerians because it has literally turned many unknown talents into stars.
However, while the show has produced some of the leading names in Nigeria’s thriving entertainment industry, quite a handful of them who made the show and back have swung into oblivion.
Below are 10 ex-Big Brother female contestants that you must have forgotten ;
1. Marvis Nkpornwi
Marvis was one of the contestants in the 2017 edition themed ”See Gobe”. She captured the attention of the audience and the winner of the show Efe with her beauty. She was the tenth finalist but did not manage to get to the final before she was evicted from the show.
Coco Ice is alumni of class ’17 and she was the third participant to be evicted from the Big Brother show. The viewers remembered the incredible beauty of the girl not with her stunning appearance, but with shocking acts when it came to the game of truth or Dare. ”CocoIce” keeps a low social media profile and although she is verified, her engagement is considerably low.
The Kogi-born beauty wowed viewers with her guitar strings and she was tipped to become a huge star outside the house. However she hasn’t quite hit those heights.
Last year, the beautiful lady switched to the gospel genre and changed her professional name from Debie-Rise to Deborah Rise. According to her, the change of name was, for her, a rebirth of some sort.
The beautiful Princess had a stint in the Big Brother Naija house (double wahala season) and gained a little bit of fame but the geologist from Enugu state has not been able to gather a cult following like some other ladies from her set.
Ify Ejikeme was a popular face in the maiden edition of the Nigerian version of the reality show.
While in the Big Brother House, she had an amorous on-the-screen relationship with the eventual winner, Katung. The relationship ended with the complettion of the show. Ify is currently an entrepreneur and is based in New Jersey
6. Vanessa “Vandora” Williams
Vandora brought her vibes to the Big Brother Naija house ”Double Wahala” and after going through a fake eviction on the first day, survived till she was finally evicted on the 21st day. She has ventured into vlogging and she’s working hard to grow her youtube channel.
Enkay was a housemate the ‘pepperdem’. She spent just 18 days in the house but she was able to gather cult following and she is currently running her own fashion brand. – The Enkay Clothing
Maureen was another pioneer housemate and she opted for a career in the corporate world after the Big Brother Nigeria experience. She later proceeded to the Fashion Retail Academy in London for a degree in Fashion Buying Merchandising

Big Brother Naija: Lockdown housemate, Dorathy Bachor, has no doubt, since her emergence in the Big Brother house, always stirred up conversations from viewers over her actions in the house.
The quite endowed lady who has done little to hide her ample bosoms area since she made it into the house, recently revealed Brighto’s intentions of wanting to take a shower with her and his “double agent lifestyle” in the house.
While talking about their new frienship with Lucy, Dorathy revealed that Brighto asked her if he could join her in the bathroom when she told them she was going to take her shower. Lucy seemed shocked with what she said as she says she never expected him to make such a request.
For the record, they did not shower together, however, Dorathy has intended to slow down things or probably withdraw herself from him because she sees him playing games with her and she has also realized her arch-rival, Nengi is close to Brighto.
