Veteran Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman has narrated how he saved a stranded female traveler who was almost raped by hoodlums dragging her into a dark area.
He revealed that the lady who was beaten by the men arrived Nigeria from Ghana two days ago, after a misunderstanding with her sister.
According to her, she lost her things, and had to sleep on the road on Saturday night before the hoodlums who saw her attempted to rape her.

Last night was another experience. Sat up to female screaming. Looked out the window & saw a girl being assaulted on the other side of the express by 3 guys. They were trying to drag her into a dark area. My guard & the street security chased them off.
Her movement was laboured & really slow. We were able to convince her to cross over to our side. She groaned with every step. The boys really beat her. Talking to her, I got to know she came into Nigeria from Ghana two days ago after a misunderstanding with her sister.
She said she lost her things, money and had to sleep on the road Saturday night. The area boys saw her the night before & tried to rape her Sunday night, being her 2nd night on the road. Her granny lives in Rivers state. I took her into my street, gave her something to eat.
Put her in a safer place to sleep & called Ogudu @PoliceNG station Dpo Celestina Nwankwo. After briefing her, we agreed that I’ll take her to the station today, Monday morning. Took her to the station this morning & officer Tina after asking some questions.
She said she can make her way to Rivers state. She was sent to the clinic for treatment. We agreed on helping her get to Rivers & by the time I left the station, she had eaten and was taking a bath. Thank u officer Celestina Nwankwo. I just realised I didnt ask the girl her name

Social media sensation, Adeherself has finally reacted following her apprehension by the EFCC on July 7th, 2020 in a new post on her Instagram page.
Adeherself, who has been remanded in EFCC’s custody since July 7, following her arraignment in court on a one-count charge of possession of fraudulent documents, recently met all her bail conditions.
Adeherself took to her page moments ago to thank her fans and followers for the support they’ve shown her so far, while revealing that she currently is in pains.
She ascertains that her case is still ongoing as she prays for the best outcome. She wrote,
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt in life, it’s to never give up no matter how hard things may get in life…. I Am Adeherself, yes I’m cheerful, happy, playful, energetic and free spirited, I wunt deny the fact that right now I’m in pains and presently going through a phase I never imagined I could ever face in life ?
I know I will come out of this victorious, and by the special grace of God with the help of my counselor, I’ll be Adeherself the real King of Queens once again.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, United States, the Nigerian entrepreneur with full name, Izuchukwu Madubueze shot himself dead over an allegation of sexual assault. (Read Here)

Izu can be heard saying ;
“I feel like it’ll be awesome to say some last words before I leave,” Izu began in the video.
He added: “In the last couple of weeks, I have seen the tweets. I have heard from several people, I’ve also seen some people who I expected a lot more from subtweeting me and I wasn’t ever given a fair chance to clear my name or explain my side of the story or verify whether any of the allegations against me were true or not.

“To my mum, I pray you stay strong, ” he said with a shaky voice.

Izu was referring to the list posted on Twitter where a number of men were named as people accused of sexual assault, harassment, or rape. Izu’s name was listed and he was accused of harassment.
“I mean, like I told you Nani, I can’t shoot the messenger. but your attitude not to work towards clearing up accusations was piss-poor. You denied me the opportunity to clear my name and you refused to tell me what exactly I did that was harassment, even after I provided proof that I didn’t harass this person….”
A Twitter influencer named Nanichi Anese, had on June 29, 2020, accused the 23-year-old creative designer of harassment – not rape as widely claimed by friends who were angered by Izu’s demise.
Izu reached out to Nani to find out who he had harrassed but she had sworn to protect the ladies who opened up to her so she refused to release the lady’s identity.
Izu was said to have been bombarded by calls from his friends, who queried him about the allegation.
On July 17, Izu, an Anambra State indigene later tweeted through Crowdfire app that Izu had killed himself.
He killed himself on July 16 but the tweet appeared on Twitter on July 17. Crowdfire app allows users to schedule their posts.

The billionaire businessman and philanthropist, revealed several intimate details about his life one of which was marrying all six of his wives, including actress, Regina Daniels as a virgin.
In the interview with Punch where he spoke about his role in getting Nigeria out of its London and Paris Club debt, his efforts to rid Nigeria of mlaaria amongst others, he spoke on why he married the Nollywood starlet.
“Why not Regina? When I met her, I didn’t even know who she was because I don’t watch movies, whether British, Nigerian or American. Also, I am not a social media person. Up until that time, I didn’t have Facebook or Instagram accounts. So, I didn’t know about Regina until she came to my house with her family on a tour. My house in the village (Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State) is a tourist attraction of sorts.
“I liked her when I saw her, especially when I found out that she was from that place. I had always wanted to have somebody (a wife) from my side. We were introduced to each other and one thing led to another. That was when I found out she is a very decent girl. I have always said that I wouldn’t marry anybody who isn’t a virgin and that is very important to me. When I found out that she was a virgin, it reinforced my decision to marry her. I married all my wives as virgins”.
Also touching on his father-in-law opposing the union, he noted;
“When I met her, I didn’t meet her father and she never spoke about him. I was made to understand that she and her mother had been estranged from him since she (Regina) was six years old. However, I have always tried to make her understand that at some point, she should try to reach out to her father. I will also try to do that and I’m hopeful that we would succeed in no time.
Thankfully, Regina has made up with her father. He was present at the christening of his grandson, Munir Neji Ned Nwoko which held on Friday.

Earlier today, news made the rounds that Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has finally forgiven her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, for the sake of their child, King Andre.

The Imo State police command has apprehended a couple with names, Goodluck Ogbuji, 28 and Benita Ogbuji, 26 for allegedly inflicting severe injuries on their eight old child who bought N100 worth of Akara (bean cake), instead of N50 in Umudagu Mbieri, Imo State.
According to the police command, they effected the arrest after they were led by two journalists, Chidiebube Okeoma and Harriet Ijeomo to the couple’s residence at Umudagu Mbieri in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state.
The arrest of the couple was sequel to a social media post which showed pictures of the severe injuries inflicted on the boy identified as Wisdom.
The Journalists who took photos of the injured boy upon arrival at the residence, stated that Wisdom has been out of school since 2019 and has be suffering physical abuse from his parents.
Okeoma narrating the story, said,
“We got information that a couple dehumanised and almost killed their houseboy because he bought bean cake of N100 instead of N50.We made inquiries through social media and we got their house address. We mobilised policemen to the place in the early hours of Thursday and got the wicked couplea rrested and rescued the child”
“They have been detained at the Orji Police Division, while the boy is being taken care of by the policemen. The level of injuries inflicted on the boy is wicked. We are seeking justice for the child. We want the couple to be prosecuted. The boy has been out of school since 2019.”
The Ministry of Education has announced that exit classes in Secondary schools across the nation will reopen for academic activities on August 4.
A statement released this afternoon July 27, by the Director of Press, Ministry Of Education, Ben Bem Goong, says students in exit classes are to resume immediately after the Salah breaks so they can take their WAEC examinations scheduled to begin August 17.
Goong said this decision was taken at the virtual consultative meeting of the Federal Ministry of Education, Commissioners of Education in the 36 states, the Nigerian Union of Teachers, Proprietors of Private schools, and Chief Executive of Examination bodies.
The Federal government had initially suspended the reopening of schools due to the increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Prominent Nollywood actress and movie producer, Genevieve Nnaji has given her stance on the topic of feminism and the kind that she practices.
According to the Lionheart actress, “feminism” has to do with human rights, and as such, she as a woman, has right to her choices.
Talking further, the actress stated that her concept of feminism is one in which she can choose to do whatever she wants at any point in time, adding that if she were a man, her stance on the matter would be the same.
The actress shared her thoughts with Guardian Nigeria.

As kids, my children were so traumatized that going out was a problem because they feared that people will see them as ghosts and run???. It took the grace of God to counsel them and dispel that fear.
What is it? Do I really have to die for these article writers to be ‘satisfied’?? I got married just like every other girl and was happy in my marriage until I began to pay huge and unpleasant prices and witness haunting occurrences just because I married a popular figure. My freedom was taken from me. My children have no life, they don’t have friends and cannot freely do what other kids in their respective age brackets do without fear of unnecessary consequences. They live in a constant fear of the unknown. I have been attacked in unprovoked circumstances because of who I married. I have been slapped, hit, followed, tracked and spat at all because I am “Bob-Manuel’s wife. I fear for my life! And the life of my children!! In all this I ask, What is my offense? MARRIAGE???

I remember in 2013 just like right now, an article was published saying I had died. This exact picture and write up was trending on social media and was on google. It was a regular beautiful day for me till I started receiving so many alarming calls from my family, friends and acquaintances. Former Nigerian international, Musa Nosa Kadiri, has died at the age of 53. He died on Friday, July 24, 2020.
According to Sahara Reporter, the ex- Flying Eagles star went into a coma after falling from his New York apartment which caused bleeding in his brain.
A source who confirmed his death told the publication: “I’m surprised because I saw him Saturday or Sunday. We were going over some business he wanted to be done, and he looked fine.
“He had lost a bit of weight due to being hospitalised two weeks earlier. But he was his usual self, talking politics and plans. So, a day or two later, he was unresponsive and on life support. It’s hard to believe.”
His funeral service is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 30, at 491 Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY.

Two gunmen were gunned down last Sunday by Pieter van der Westhuizen, who is the brother of South African rugby legend, Joost van der Westhuizen as they tried to rob a congregation during a church service.
Three robbers invaded the Querencia Ministries church in Wierda Park, Centurion, South Africa, on Sunday and proceeded to try and rob members of the congregation at gunpoint.
According to a report by Netwerk24, two of the robbers were then gunned down by Pieter van der Westhuizen who was among the congregation. The third robber was wounded but managed to escape using the car they came with.
According to Ruan Heyns of the Community Emergency Response Team, the pastor of the church, Kobus Erasmus and other worshippers were pushed around and pistol-whipped by the men.
According to Ruan, at one point one of the robbers reportedly held a pistol to Erasmus’ head.
The shooter, Van der Westhuizen – a former police officer himself, is co-operating with the police investigation and his lawyer Ulrich Roux has said his client acted in self-defence when he used the weapon to shoot the attackers.
The shooter’s older brother, Joost van der Westhuizen, made 89 appearances in test matches for the national team, scoring 38 tries and participated in three Rugby World Cups. He died in 2017 after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
Budding Nollywood actress, Ada Karl, has shared her story about how she grew up in an abusive environment, even though her father was a great dad.
The actress made the revelation in a recent interview with The Nation.
When she was asked about her childhood memories, the actress said,

“I was very suspicious of any man that said ‘hello’ to me because I assumed all men were the same.
I was traumatised and assumed all men were abusive. It affected my view about men. Growing up, I considered being a Nun, but I came from a Pentecostal and Anglican background. So, l wasn’t even bold enough to discuss that with my parents.
Managing the trauma of domestic violence is tough! I never told my friends in school because I was shy and also scared of my dad. My father being an amazing dad also made it harder for me because I felt nobody would believe me.
I still wonder how he could have been such a great dad and an abusive husband, but again he whiplashed us a lot; which is also a trace of abuse. But as a typical African child, I never viewed that as abuse but as an adult I think he was a bit extreme with his disciplinary measures to us.”
