Lady bursts Tacha for allegedly showing off ‘fake’ designer shoes.

Popular Nigerian reality star, Natacha Ekide, otherwise known as Tacha has been called out for showing off ‘fake’ designer shoes on social media.

The 2019 BBNaija housemate had shared a video of herself unboxing some shoes that got delivered to her. One of the shoes, a YSL Opyum Heels, was wrapped in a nylon bag instead of a shoe bag.

However, a social media user claimed the particular heels she unboxed was not the authentic version and she gave copious reasons to back her claim.

The twitter user wrote ;

Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu’s ex-wife, Maureen Esisi has taken to her social media page to reprimand a troll who reminded her of her failed marriage to Actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu.

Esisi was moved to address the issue after an insensitive troll called her promiscuous and barren.

According to her, the marriage ended almost a year ago, so people need to move past it and let her be.

Sharing the screenshot, she wrote ;

“Shit I Receive Daily… First Scape Goat!!!!!… When will this End???… The Relationship Sailed almost a Year ago.. Can y’all negative people move past it??? Please?????? Enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Head of Nigeria Police Complaints Response Unit, Yomi Shogunle, has shared how a bride in waiting has been hospitalized due to shock.

According to Shogunle, the bride’s fiance impregnated his ex-girlfriend during lock-down after her family opted for indefinite postponement of their wedding.

The groom’s family’s request of a quiet wedding and the bride moving in with the groom was rejected. The waiting groom and is ex then reconnected during the lock-down and then got her pregnant.

Davido reveals why he decided to help Cynthia Morgan despite the insult he received from her years back

Generous Afropop singer, Davido has given his reason why he decided to help embattled songstress, Cynthia Morgan who recently opened up on suffering depression because of her dwindling career.

In an Instagram Live chat, Cynthia Morgan recently revealed that her former record label boss, Jude Okoye was the reason for her career crash as he’d been stealing most of her rights.

Her plight appealed to some celebrities who reacted by lending support to ensure she gets her career back on track.

One of these celebrities is Davido who offered to help her by featuring her on a new song he’s working.

“Tell Cynthia I got an anthem for her ….. I’ll record my verse now” he shared.

Davido’s gesture sparked a lot of reactions as while some people were awed by his generousity, others accused him of being a clout chaser. Some were even perturbed as to why he’d helped the songstress given that some years back, she was hostile towards him.

Davido has now come out to explain why he decided to help Cynthia Morgan despite the singer insulting him years back.

“Most important thing is that she has spoken and people are willing to help and she can be able to rewrite her steps and have another chance. That’s all that matters”, he wrote.

OAP Toke Makinwa also waded into the issue between Cynthia Morgan and Jude Okoye,

“It’s easier said than done, I may not have all the answers, it is a sad situation for both parties, hoping they both can work something out”.

She also revealed how much of a “huge fan of Cynthia Morgan” she is and how she “can’t deny the genius that Jude is too. We just want music”.

Nigerian music producer, Samklef has revealed how rapper, Dremo reacted after he received a call from Davido while he was in Agege.

Samklef who was in Agege with Dremo at the time, stated that the rapper fumed with excitement — he also had joy written all over his face after Davido’s call came through.

Praising Davido for all he has done, Samklef wrote,

“I remember 4 or 5years ago I was outside in agege county with @dremodrizzy when he received a call from @davidoofficial u need to see the excitement and joy in Dremo’s face that day. To be honest Davido don try all he need to say is call me. Son of grace”.

The rapper recently took to his Twitter page to share a rather hilarious conversation he had with a man who begged him for financial aid.

In a screenshot of the conversation he shared, the man who identified himself as Sunny, sent him a direct message begging him to help him financially.
Dremo on seeing his message simply asked him to send his account details “Send account” Dremo wrote in response but instead of sending his details, Sunny came again, this time airing his disappointment that the rapper is yet to help him since he last begged him.

A gentleman has given the narrative of how he was embarrassed at Afropop singer, Davido’s house with rapper, Zlatan Ibile calling for him to be beaten.

The gentleman, identified as Raheem Sodiq stated that he was driving along Admiralty Way from his house which is closed to Davido’s house when he noticed some celebrities hanging around the singer’s house.

Excitedly, he decided to capture the moment only for him to be embarrassed.

He shared,

“On my way driving back home cos I live very close to Davido house in Lekki (Admiralty Way). Three storey building partially collapses in Lagos (Photos)

A three-storey building which is located at No. 6 Olonode Street, Ebute Metta in Lagos state, partially collapsed on May 25.

Gracefully, there were no casualties or any injuries recorded from the incident.

Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA Response team led by the Director-General/CEO, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, arrived at the scene of the incident and discovered that the building was old and distressed and that the reinforcement of the building were corroded, resulting in visible cracks on the walls and pillars due to lack of maintenance.

Occupants of the building were evacuated and the entire building cordoned off to prevent any secondary incident.

Further investigations and integrity tests were carried out by LASEMA and LASBCA and the building was revealed to be completely compromised.

Following a directive from the Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Physical Planning, and subsequent to a complete evacuation of residents, the entire building was leveled to ground zero in a swift and effective operation.

Occupants in adjacent buildings have been advised to carry out integrity tests to ascertain whether their buildings have been compromised to prevent any secondary incident.

A lady’s graduation photos which she shared on her page, has earned her heavy criticisms from users of the app she shared the photos on, Twitter.

The Twitter user, @LILJOSIEEVERT, who just graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, shared photos and a video from her graduation ceremony.

However, Twitter users were not feeling the photos as they took to shaming her for her choice of graduation outfit. The woman, who revealed she’s from Liberia, was slammed for wearing a skimpy dress that exposed more than it covered.

Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid‘s third and arguably most adored son, Zion Balogun whom he had with his manager, Jada Pollock has shown himself to be a stunt rider in a new adorable video.

Zion’s dad, Wizkid who was excited about his son’s great riding skills shared short video clips of the little lad riding on his official Instagram page recently.

In the video shared by the singer, the camera opens up on Zion who pulled up from an adjacent view. Emerging on top of a toy bike, the young blood is seen making attempts to start up the little machine.

When he finally brought the bike to life, he rode in a stunt-like and unsteady manner, matching his brake at the shortest intervals while pressing the horn device uncontrollably.

Parrot who “heard victim’s last words” to give evidence at trial of two men who allegedly raped and murdered her

A 46-year-old Argentine woman, Elizabeth Toledo was raped and murdered in the city of San Fernando in December of 2018.

Elizabeth’s body was discovered naked on a mattress on the floor in an apartment in Buenos Aires, next to her parrot.

As part of the evidence filed in the case last week, the police recorded a statement from a police officer who said he heard the Toledo parrot shortly after the killing saying no, Por favour, soltame!” (“No, please, let me go”), Clarin reports.

The police believe the parrot was repeating its owner’s last words as she was allegedly beaten and raped by two housemates.

The officer had been standing guard outside the murder scene when he heard what sounded like a woman screaming inside. He looked inside the apartment – but only found Toledo’s naked and bruised body lying on a mattress on the floor, along with the green parrot in a cage.

Evidence also includes witness testimony from a neighbour who claimed to have seen the parrot repeat the trick on a different occasion.

That witness told police that the parrot once said ‘por qué me pegaste?’ (why did you hit me?) after one of the men hit Toledo.

51-year-old Miguel Saturnino Rolon and 62-year-old Jorge Raul Alvarez are on trial for the rape and murder of 46-year-old Elizabeth Toledo in Buenos Aires in 2018.

Head prosecutor Bibiana Santella has reportedly included the parrot’s ‘testimony’ in the case file. Other evidence includes a bite mark from the victim’s forearm which they say matches the bite of Rolon’s teeth ‘like a fingerprint’.

Meanwhile DNA evidence found on Toledo’s body will link Alvarez to the rape and killing, they allege. An autopsy showed that the victim has been beaten, raped, and strangled to death, according to Clarin.

Ms Toledo rented a room to three men in the same house. Her housemates Miguel Saturnino Rolon and Jorge Raul Alvarez are the two who have been arrested in connection with the homicide.

The third housemate was also arrested, but he was not at home when the alleged incident occurred. The trial’s start date is yet to be revealed.

Man gives wife ‘pocket money’ in jail after she plotted with her lover to kill him (Photos)

The wife of a Ghanaian man who allegedly plotted with her lover to have him killed, was remanded in Police custody for the second time by the Asokwa District Court in Kumasi.

The Ghanaian still showed his soft spot for her after he was pictured handing money to his wife for her upkeep in prison following her second appearance in court on Friday, May 22.

The 27-year-old woman identified as Mavis ‘Maadwoa’ Brepo, married to David Gator, 55, had allegedly planned with her 50-year-old boyfriend, Patrick Asare, to kill her husband so they could settle down together.

Mavis Brepo and Patrick Asare were reportedly apprehended after an assassin they had called to do the job turned out to be the Manhyia Divisional Police Commander.

Following their arrest, Gator has maintained her innocence, claiming that she was under the influence of a spiritual force when she planned with her lover to have her husband killed so they could both get married.

The two suspects made their first appearance in court on Friday, May 8, 2020.

According to a report by Adom News, Gator who was in court with other family members assured his wife of his undying love as she cried profusely after the hearing.

He also gave her an undisclosed sum of money and reportedly told her it was for her upkeep in prison while an investigation into the matter continues.

The publication also claimed that Mr. Gator has long forgiven Mavis and appealed for the charges against her to be dropped so that he can take her back as his wife.

The case was adjourned to June 3.

A couple who got married years after meeting at a wedding where they both caught the garter and the bouquet have become an internet sensation.

During wedding ceremonies, it’s believed that the man who catches the bride’s garter at a wedding is next to be married and the woman who catches the bride’s bouquet is also next in line to be married.

Although this hasn’t always been the case, it however hasn’t stopped the tradition of throwing the garter and bouquet at weddings.

At a wedding that was held on May 23, 2015, a man named Aramis Phillips caught the garter while a woman named Candace caught the bouquet. They were strangers up until that point but became acquainted afterwards.

They got married years later.

Candace took to her Twitter page on May 23, 2020, to mark the 5th anniversary of the day they both met at a wedding. She revealed that they both slid into each other’s DMs after the wedding and they’ve been together ever since.

They’ve now been married for 8 months.

#COVID-19: Confirmed cases in Nigeria hit 8068 as 229 people test positive in one day

In a new development of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the confirmed cases of the virus in the country has now hit 8068 after 229 people tested positive on Monday, May 25, 2020.

According to the update given by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC), 90 cases were recorded in Lagos, 27 in Katsina, 26 in Imo, 23 in Kano, 14 in FCT, 12 in Plateau, 9 in Ogun, 7 in Delta, 5 in Borno, 5 in Rivers, 4 in Oyo, 3 in Gombe, 2 in Osun, 1 in Anambra and 1 in Bayelsa State.

In total, Nigeria has now recorded 8068 cases of COVID-19 with 2311 patients who have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 233 deaths have been recorded.

Moment Caucasian woman calls 911 and lies that an “African American” man is threatening her life (Video)

An African American man caught the moment on camera, when a Caucasian woman put a call through to 911 and pretended to be in distress while lying that he (the African American man) is threatening her life.

The said lady was at the famous Ramble in New York’s Central Park when she took her dog off the leash — an act which is clearly against the rules of the park so as to protect the birds from dogs.

An African American man who’s “an avid birder” and had seen her dog off the lease, politely asked her to put it back on the leash but she refused.

When the man started filming her, she confronted him and asked him to stop, he then told her he will stop when she complies and puts her dog on the leash.

Rather than obey the park rules, the lady told him that she will call the cops and tell them peculiarly that an “African American man” is threatening her.

She said,

“I’m going to tell them that there’s an African American man threatening my life.”

She then took her phone, dialed 911, and told the cops exactly that. But she didn’t stop there as she went on to pretend like she was in distress and begged them to send the cops immediately. While talking with the police, she was strangling her dog, making the animal scream as though they were under attack.

She took her acting further by crying and clamouring for help as though her life were in danger.

The video was shared online by Melody Cooper, a sister to the African American man who wrote,

“Oh, when Karens take a walk with their dogs off leash in the famous Bramble in NY’s Central Park, where it is clearly posted on signs that dogs MUST be leashed at all times, and someone like my brother (an avid birder) politely asks her to put her dog on the leash.”

Melody Cooper later added that her brother is fine and didn’t get in trouble with the cops.

Twitter users have since reacted to the video in outrage and called for the woman, who was later identified as Amy Cooper, to be arrested for making an unnecessary 911 call.

Others went on to point out how she intentionally used the man’s race as a weapon against him — they said that by emphasizing his race, she knew what she was doing and hoped that the colour of his skin will make the cops biased against him.

Popular artiste manager and ex-wife of singer, 9ice, Toni Payne, has taken to her social media page to recall how Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun refused to allow Olamide perform at his show only to come back to beg for favor a year later after Olamide became famous.

According to her, she stopped speaking to AY because of the incident.

She said she asked AY to allow Olamide perform for some minutes at his show, but he refused to give him a chance.

Davido replies Comedian Funnybone for shading him over wanting to help Cynthia Morgan

Cynthia Morgan has been dominating the news headlines since Sunday after she revealed her struggles with her career.

Davido was one of the first big names to offer a helping hand by asking her to give him a call as he’d already gotten a song he’d want her to feature in.

However some Nigerians were not impressed by that gesture and some claimed Davido was just trying to be at the center of attention and he didn’t really want to help her. In a move that mirrored that sentiment, Comedian Funnybone took to his own social media page to ask why Cynthia Morgan was not offered help before now and his post seemed like an indirect question fired at Davido.

Funnybone via his Instagram stories wrote;

“How come nobody asked after Cynthia Morgan all this years? Even the colleagues she had something with. Suddenly everybody is now shouting Cynthia call me call me, Las las we are all on our own o, God I dey your hand oo. Amen.”

Davido replied saying;

“Nigerian women are always pulling me down ” – Tiwa Savage cries out

Popular Nigerian Singer, Tiwa Savage has bemoaned a sad fact that Nigerian women do not like her and she says they are always pulling her down.

Tiwa Savage made this disclosure following an insenstive tweet from a lady who insinuated she (Tiwa) makes music for ‘Ashawo’.

“Duduke is for people in good and healthy relationship… Ashawo relax Tiwa Savage will soon sing your own ??” the tweet read.

However, another twitter user shut the troll down with a reply ;

“Nigerian women are always pulling Tiwa Savage down woow… She’s one of the few African women who put the continent on the map but the disrespect she receives from these women is disgusting”.

Tiwa, in her reaction, expressed her sadness as she said the tweet made her weak.

“It’s always been like that, I doubt it will ever change. Maybe I for just jeje dey yankee dey sing my rnb because I see how hard the Rihanna navy, beehives, barbs protect their own.”

“I swear the tin weak me and this thread is mainly from women. God I know you see ALL, I remain within your arms of protection and blessings ??”

Veteran rapper, Eldee has also weighed in on the drama between Cynthia Morgan and her former record label boss, Jude Okoye.

Recall that over the weekend, Cynthia Morgan had an Instagram Live interview, where she spoke about the record label issues she had after signing with Jude Okoye’s Northside Entertainment.

She spoke of how she allegedly lost her stage name “Cynthia Morgan”, her VEVO account, royalties, her Instagram account, and other things due to the contract she signed with the record label.

Taking to Twitter, Eldee, who joined the social conversation centered on Jude and Cynthia, said people cannot sign contracts and then turn around to complain of being cheated. The veteran rapper stated that if a company offers one a bad deal, it should not be signed and that if the person goes ahead to sign such a contract, it must be honored.

According to him, not honoring a contract is dangerous to growth in any ecosystem.

”Don’t willingly sign a contract & then turn around a while later to complain about how you’re being “cheated”. If the terms are no longer favorable, renegotiate, but remember that your partner also reserves the right to accept the new terms.

You can’t sign a financial agreement and expect to change the terms halfway into the deal, unless that option/clause exists in the agreement to begin with.” he tweeted

Nigerians on social media have reacted with joy over trending lovely photos of a newly-wedded couple.

The wedding was held in Lagos and only a few guest were present because of the social distancing enforced by the state government.

However, an obvious sight in the wedding photos was the fact that the groom was in a wheelchair. This prompted social media users to tag their union a ‘true love.’

Taking to his Twitter page, Chiemena Samuel, shared the lovely image of the couple, as he congratulated them.

Sharing the image from their wedding, Samuel wrote;

Actress Lambasted For Charging $5,000 To Sleep With Men (Photo)

A budding Ghanaian actress identified simply as Shugatiti, has been attacked online after saying she charges $5,000 from men who want to sleep with her.

Shugatiti, who doubles as a nudist, made the revelation while speaking in an interview with Angel TV.

“Some men can just call me and give me $1000 without sleeping with me so nudity has been an enabler and I’m sticking to that career direction,” she told the host.

“I take $5,000 and above because men give me one thousand dollars for doing nothing so I won’t charge less if you want to sleep with me. I need to take good care of myself so my charges are very high.”

Reacting to her statement, Twitter users blasted her while many said she was only lying about her charges.

One user replied thus ;

“So per what you are saying, if 5 different men gives you that amount in a day, you will have sex with all of them in a day because the only thing you are after is money. What is cheaper than this!!!”

“These so-called celebrities can just wake up and cook up big lies, all to remain relevant. We are not that stupid, abeg!” another user wrote in reaction to her statement
