Disqualified Big Brother Naija 2019 housemate, Natacha Ekide has said that out of the 26 ‘Pepper Dem’ contestants, that she was the only one who didn’t gossip in the house.
During last night’s BBNaija reunion show, Ebuka asked who gossiped the most in the house, and Tacha replied saying everyone did except her.
In her words ;
“Everyone apart from me, I never talked about anybody. Anything I would say about you is something, anything I would say about you, you must have heard it before”.
However, Venita objected, recalling one time Tacha “gossiped” about her after the she was evicted from Big Brother’s house.
Tacha then refuted the accusation, claiming it was not gossip as she could tell Venita everything she said to her face.
New reports reaching us this moment is that Popular Nigerian-American broadcaster and former Idol series judge, Dan Foster is dead.
According to the reports, the versatile radio veteran is said to have died of the novel Covid-19 pandemic.
As at the time of filing this report, it still is not ascertained if his death was due to the novel Coronavirus but reports currently making the rounds claim he died of it.

A 300–level Mathematics Education female student of the Federal University of Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, identified as one Faderera Oloyede has been discovered dead in an apartment belonging to her boyfriend, Ayo Maliki, in Osun State.
Faderera was found on Tuesday inside her boyfriend’s room at Koko, Iree, Osun State. She was said to have gone to her boyfriend’s place in company with her friend identified as one Kemisola Adewusi, a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

According to reports surrounding her demise, her boyfriend had prepared rice for his visitors and while eating the food, the deceased suddenly developed stomach ache and started vomiting.
She, however, died shortly afterwards after efforts to save her life yielded no result. “They tried to save her life but she died after complaining of stomach ache,” one source said.
The Student Union Government President of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Kehinde Raji, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that Maliki went into hiding immediately the incident occured.
He, however, disclosed that the police were invited and took the corpse of Faderera away. Spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, Kemisola had been detained.
Nollywood actor and director, Ramsey Nouah, has asked that all the Twitter accounts impersonating him be blocked.
The 49-year-old made the request on Twitter on Wednesday after a graphic identified as Louisa Jilo, tagged one of the fake accounts when she called out Ramsey Nouah and the producers of the 2019 film, Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, for using her work without compensation.

There was a little bit of commotion earlier this morning in the Ojota area of Lagos when a lady plunged down the pedestrian bridge in an apparent attempt to commit suicide.
According to reports, the initial attempts by a passersby to stop her from jumping proved abortive as she freed herself from the grip of a man who was holding her back before she took a leap.
It’s gathered that the Lagos Neighbourhood officers later helped her to a safe place to avoid been hit by oncoming vehicles. The DPO Alausa Police Station later came to the scene to take the lady away.

A Nigerian lady identified Louisa on Twitter earlier called popular Nollywood Actor and Director, Ramsey Nouah for using her designs in his movie without paying for it.
The lady who admitted there was no paperwork done when she was contacted for the job in 2018, claimed she only requested a down payment but was also not given because the media director for the movie told her then that the budget had not been approved.
I just accepted the job and started working straight away. The only thing I remember requesting was a down payment. But the then media director pleaded that the budget was yet to be approved but I shouldn't worry. As soon as it is. He will avail me some funds towards my charge.

Music executive, Jude Okoye has asked Police to release the young man who issued death threats to him over Cynthia Morgan’s career saga.
He revealed in a tweet this morning, June 17, that he asked the police to release the young man after he made statements, wrote an undertaking, and also apologized to him over the threatening messages he sent to him via DM on Instagram.

A Nigerian man, Tony Ejinduaka took to his Facebook page to mourn his friend, Obinna Anumba, who just died of COVID-19 in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
According to Tony, he and late Obinna were classmates. He said until his death, Obinna was a banker in Port Harcourt.

A 32-year-old driver Mayowa Adeyemo has been remanded in Ilesha Correctional Centre, for reportedly torturing his 18-month-old son with burning cigarettes.
The suspect who was arraigned in court sitting in Osun State on Tuesday June 16 on two counts bothering on assault and exploitation, was accused of beating the child with a stick and burning him with a cigarette by the Police prosecutor Abiodun Fagboyinbo.
The suspect pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Adeyemo told the court ;
“I have five children from five different mothers. Several pastors I consulted told me that my mother was the one bewitching me. I am a taxi driver but things have not been fine for me. The son I assaulted with sticks is the son that my fourth wife bore for me.
“When his mother got pregnant, we got separated due to the insistence of her family that she should not marry me.”
Chief Magistrate Modupe Awodele adjourned the case to July 14, after remanding Adeyemo in Ilesha Correctional Centre.
The tenth episode of the BBNaija: Pepper Dem Reunion show kicked off with the show’s anchor, Ebuka delving into former housemate, Esther’s love triangle with ex-housemates, Nelson and Frodd.
Esther’s colleagues, Diane and Mercy laid receipts which incriminates her in a ring of manipulative behaviour while she was still in the Big Brother’s house.
The close friends who admitted to being former friends with Esther touched on Esther’s transfer of emotions from Nelson to Frodd despite knowing Diane had a thing for Nelson — a move they deemed as an act of betrayal.
Venita, talking on “Esther and Frodd’s” kiss said she felt the kiss was heaven sent but just before she continued, Esther cut in to set the record straight about the whole kiss drama.
She adamantly denied kissing Frodd and claim it was a group agreement — she says Frodd kissed her and it was not the other way round.

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Muhammad Bello on Tuesday June 16, announced that Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley will be prosecuted alongside those who featured and entertained fun-seekers at the Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja over the past weekend.
In a press statement released by the Minister’s Chief Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye, Bello said the FCT Administration views the actions of the organizers and attendees at the concert as reckless, wicked, insensitive and utter disrespect and disregard both for the law and the well being and welfare of fellow citizens.
He urged residents of the FCT to observe health guidelines outlined by authorities as he pointed out that several guidelines instituted by the FCT administration to curb the spread of Coronavirus, was violated at the drive-in concert.
Bello said,
“The FCT Administration which has a responsibility to protect the lives of the citizenry is determined to prosecute all those involved in orchestrating these infractions to the full extent of the law”.
This comes after Jabi Lake Mall was shut down by the FCT administration following a mobile court’s judgment.
Veteran Nollywood actor, Browny Igboegwu has after ten years of marriage welcomed his first child following consistent pressure from relations for him to get another woman to bare him a child.
According to the actor, in a post on his official Instagram page as he celebrate the birth of his first child, he revealed that over the years of waiting, he was under constant pressure from people to get another woman to bare him a child or he could adopt a child while he waited.

he Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that the new COVID-19 drug, Dexamethasone is yet to be approved for use in treatment of patients with the viral disease in Nigeria.
The low-dose steroid treatment dexamethasone is a major breakthrough in the fight against the deadly virus, UK experts say. It considerably reduce the risk of patients dying from COVID-19.
In a series of tweet, the NCDC said it is aware of the drug, however the drug has not yet been approved for use in Nigeria.
“The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is aware of recent outcomes from a UK-Government funded clinical trial for COVID-19. The results support the use of Dexamethasone as a possible treatment to reduce the risk of death among COVID-19 patients, who require oxygen or mechanical ventilation.
Please note that the Government of Nigeria has not validated or approved any treatment for COVID-19. In addition, the use of Dexamethasone for COVID-19 treatment has not been validated by WHO.
We are aware of ongoing clinical trials conducted by scientists in the UK and will work with our sister agencies to evaluate this emerging data on the use of Dexamethasone. We will inform the general public on outcomes following scientific review and validation.” the NCDC tweet reads.

Nigeria’s Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has reacted to a letter written by the Chairman of Executive Jets Services, Sam Iwuajoku, apologizing to the authorities after his company was banned by the Ministry of Aviation for conveying singer, Naira Marley, to Abuja from Lagos for a concert in violation of COVID-19 guidelines.
The chairman in his apology, said he gave the approval for the flight thinking the passenger was the minister Fashola, as the flight manifesto contained the name Babatunde Fashola, not knowing that is was Naira Marley’s brother who also goes by the name Babatunde Fashola.
However, Babatunde Fashola said he has not travelled out of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, since March 22 so it is ridiculous for him to be linked with the flight that carried the singer.
Reacting in a statement on Tuesday, the former Governor’s Special Adviser on Communications, Hakeem Bello, said,
“The attention of the Office of the Honourable Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola SAN, has been drawn to a letter signed by the Chairman/CEO of Executive Jets Services Limited, Dr Sam Iwuajoku concerning a flight it operated to Abuja last weekend.
“For purposes of clarity and in order to set the records straight, the Hon. Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola SAN, has not travelled out of Abuja since March 22, 2020, when he returned there after an inspection tour of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway construction work and a visit to Lagos, before the lockdown.
“The decision of the Hon. Minister not to travel was taken in strict compliance with the Federal Government’s ban on inter-state travels as part of efforts to control the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It is therefore ridiculous for Dr Iwuajoku to attempt to link the Hon. Minister with any non-compliant flight.”
Nigerian Male Barbie, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky has opened up on why he dressed like a man to attend his father’s birthday party.

The United States government has arrested six Nigerians for alleged $6 million internet fraud.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and posted on the Treasury Department website on Tuesday.
Mr Pompeo said the Nigerians targeted U.S. businesses and individuals through Business Email Compromise (BEC) and romance fraud.
He said the U.S. will not tolerate such gross misuse of technology, vowing, that the country will use all of the tools “at our disposal to defend the American people and businesses from malign actors that seek to target them.”
The suspects are: Richard Uzor. – BEC scam – a loss in excess of $6,300,000 was attributed to the scam led by him and an accomplice; Michael Olorunyomi – Romance Fraud – losses exceeding $1 million was attributed to him.
Alex Ogunshakin, an accomplice to Mr Uzor, was allegedly contacting victims; Felix Okpoh- Romance Fraud – allegedly provided financial materials and technological tools to Mr Uzor.
Nnamdi Benson – Romance Fraud and money laundering; and Abiola Kayode – BEC and Romance Fraud – allegedly provided bank accounts to individuals involved in the scheme.
Mr Pompeo said the arrest was in coordination with the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
He also said individuals such as the elderly, women and those who have lost spouses were often targeted by the suspects, according to information received by the FBI Internet crime complaints centres on romance fraud.
“Today, in coordination with the U.S. Department of Justice, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control took action against six Nigerian nationals, pursuant to Executive Order 13694 as amended, for conducting an elaborate online scheme to steal more than $6 million from victims across the United States.
“The six individuals designated today manipulated their victims to gain access to their sensitive information and financial resources. The U.S. will not tolerate such gross misuse of technology.
“The United States will use all of the tools at our disposal to defend the American people and businesses from malign actors that seek to target them, including cyber-enabled actors who prey on vulnerable Americans and businesses.
“Technological advancements that provide greater interconnectivity also offer greater opportunity for exploitation by malicious actors who target at-risk Americans. Mr Pompeo said.
Beautiful Actress, and wife to billionaire Ned, Regina Daniels-Nwoko has stated that it is not advisable for friends with big bosoms to visit other friends who are married.
In a video, Heavily pregnant Regina Daniels while escorting a friend who came visiting, stated that women shouldn’t allow girls with big bosoms visit them in their matrimonial homes.

The EFCC Lagos Zonal Office, has arrested five alleged internet fraudsters, including one Adedamola Adewale, a self-acclaimed social media influencer, for their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud.
The five suspects were apprehended in different areas of Lagos during a raid by operatives.
While Adewale, 20, and his accomplice, Lamina Hamzat Ajibola, were arrested at the Agungi area of Lekki, the trio of Israel Onyebuchi, Emmanuel Olayode and Valentine Nwokorie were picked up at Ibeju-Lekki.
EFCC said the arrest of Adewale and Ajibola “was sequel to intelligence linking them to online fraudulent activities with two brothers, Lasisi Wasiu Adeleke and Lasisi Riliwan Adeniyi, who are at large.”
The agency revealed that they were arrested at a four-bedroom duplex belonging to the two run-away fraudsters.
The statement said during interrogation, “Adewale, a self-acclaimed model, who goes by the username @adeherself on Instagram, confessed to being a picker” in cybercrimes.”
Items recovered from the suspects included two Toyota Camry 2009 model cars, and a sum of N9 million found in Adewale’s account.
The other suspects Onyebuchi, Olayode and Nwokorie were arrested for their alleged involvement in a romance scam.
They were arrested during another raid, following a separate intelligence.
EFCC said “Nwokorie was posing as a female American citizen and sending photos as a porn star to defraud his victim while Onyebuchi was engaging in a love scam as well as forging foreign cheques.”

In a recent interview with Premium Times, the CEO of the airline admitted to writing the apology letter addressed to the Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika. He said he wrote the letter which has been trailed by mixed reaction out of anger.
Sam Iwuajoku also condemned the indiscriminate movement of any form during the Coronavirus pandemic.
He said,
“Why will anyone be moving around unnecessarily during a pandemic? Moving around for musical concert at this time is ‘unnecessary movement’. I am wondering why they were not even arrested.
“I have been abused by people who said I referred to them as ‘useless people’ but I don’t care. If you see the truth, say it. Although I said so in anger, that is still my position today.”
He also reiterated his earlier position of mistaking Naira Marley for Minister of Works, ‘Babatunde Fashola’
The Akwa Ibom state police command has reportedly apprehended a village head and a Pastor for raping underage girls in the state.
The 60-year-old village head of Ikot Inyang, Ibesikpo-Asutan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, identified as Okon Uyoe allegedly defiled the 11-year-old girl he bought Akara (beans cake) from after he lured her into his room on pretence of giving her the money there.
“On reaching the room, the suspect grabbed the victim and forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.”
Fredrick revealed that the incident occurred around 1:12 p.m. on June 13.
One Pastor Victor David was also arrested for allegedly raping an eight-year-old girl “who was sent by her guardian to deliver a tin of peak milk to him“.
The police spokesperson added,
“On 1/4/2020, at about 2:00am, following a distress call, SARS Operatives swung into action and arrested one Peter Emmanuel Ekanem on the basis of an outcry by a victim of a case of rape which prompted a good spirited individual to place a distress call to the Police.
“Investigation revealed that the suspect conspired with other suspects now at large and forcefully took the lady at gunpoint to a primary school field in Ikot Akpa Ekpuk village, Ikono LGA where she was raped.
“Suspect confessed to the crime. A locally-made pistol was recovered from the suspect. Investigation is in progress.
“On 28/5/2020, at about 9:00am, based on reliable intelligence, detectives of Ibesikpo-Asutan Division arrested one Henry Okon Henry ‘m’, aged 30 years of Mbokpueyokan, Urue-Offong Oruko L.G.A, but resides at Ikot Ambon, Ibesikpo-Asutan L.G.A.
“Investigation revealed that suspect forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of his 17-year-old niece, and also threatened to kill the victim if she attempts to escape or raise alarm.
“Following a complaint on 13/6/2020 at about 5:20 pm, operatives of ‘C’ Division arrested one Solomon Emmanuel Okon ‘m’ and Becky Umoretuk ‘f’.
“Suspects conspired and lured a 26-year-old lady to their house and unlawfully assaulted her with fist blow and machete, in the process Solomon Emmanuel Okon ‘m’ forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of the victim.”
The suspects will be charged to court after investigation has been concluded.
