Popular Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson has reacted to the rape allegation that was levied against singer, D’banj by one Miss Seyitan.
The award-winning Actor revealed that he has officially canceled D’banj due to the way the whole issue was handled.
It can be recalled that after Miss Seyitan Eunice Babatayo accused Dbanj of rape, the singer would go on to file a N100 million lawsuit against her.
It was also reported that D’banj’s team got her arrested, made her retract/delete her old tweets and surprisingly she would go on to make post on her social media, promoting his songs.
Reacting to the turn of events, Timini Egbuson, said he has canceled Dbanj in his books, adding that it would be repulsive if it was all a publicity stunt.

In the latest update of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, 667 new cases have been reported as of Friday evening, June 19th by the National Centre for Disease Control.

Chairman of the Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa said not all Nigerians succeeding abroad are engaged in fraudulent activities.

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered a probe into the rape allegations levelled against popular singer, Oladapo Oyebanjo aka D’Banj, by Seyitan Babatayo.
The order was contained in a letter signed by the Principal Staff Officer to the IG, DCP Idowu Owohunwa.
The IG’s letter was in response to a petition written to the IG by Mr. Tommy Ojoge-Daniel, a lawyer to Miss Seyitan Babatayo, who accused D’Banj of raping her in 2018.
The letter written by the IG is titled, ‘Re: Petition Against (1) Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo (Aka D’Banj) for Rape Indecent Sexual Assault, Attempted Assault on Miss Seyitan Temidayo
The letter read in part, “I forward herewith copy of letter dated June 5, 2020 received from Ojoge, Omileye and Partners on the above underlined subject. I am to respectfully convey the directive of the Inspector-General of Police that you treat.
“Accept the assurances of my esteemed regards please.”
Recall on the 3rd of June, 2020, Seyitan shared details of being raped by D’banj on Twitter.
A few days later, Seyitan followed this with a letter from her lawyers to the Dbanj. In the letter, Seyitan demanded an apology from D’banj.
The singer denied the allegation a week later, tagged it ”lies from the pit of hell” and said he’d be seeking justice by taking legal steps.
On Tuesday, however, some policemen allegedly acting on the instruction of the singer detained Seyitan for over 24 hours and intimidated her, making her delete all chats, social media posts and other vital information from her phone.
The incident elicited a wide range of criticism on social media with D’Banj trending on social media for the last two days

Former Big Brother Africa housemate and model, Tayo Faniran, has slammed black people for being “mean” and “wicked”
Tayo’s outburst came after the flooding in Lagos that left many houses and streets flooded and dirty. According to him, he literally had to swim all the way from his house to work yesterday.
He went on to slam black people, saying they are their own problem as they are all wicked.
“I swear I have never had a reason in my entire life to wish I was a white man, but today i wish I could actually change my skin colour, I wish I could be a white man. Black people why are you so wicked? Why are you so mean?” he said.
A 33-year-old lady was reportedly gang-raped after she was deceived into the men’s den by her own friend, said to be the only female member of a 9-man rape gang.
The Adamawa state police command confirmed the arrest of five members of the gang including the lady, while the remaining four are at large.
30-year-old Zainab Jafaru reportedly arranged for her friend to be gang-raped and reportedly disappeared after taking her to the men. Adamawa State Police spokesman, DSP Suleiman Nguroje said;
“On 13/6/2020, following a report received from a 33-year-old lady being raped by a syndicate of 9 at Gerio, a remote area of Jambutu, Yola North LGA, Police operatives attached to the command’s monitoring team, arrested five people: Ahmadu Ismail (20 years old); Salu Buba (25 years); Muhammed Ali (78 years); Abubakar Ali (28 years) and Zainab Jafaru (Female) 30 years.
“The incident happened on 12/6/2020 when the 5th Suspect Zainab Jafaru, deceived the complainant to accompany her to a certain place to meet her boyfriend.
“Upon arrival, Zainab’s boyfriend (now on the run), invited his gang, who forcefully had sexual intercourse with the complainant one after another.”
A Florida man who was accused of killing Black Lives Matter activist, Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau has reportedly admitted to killing her and another woman.
He made this confession to his mother during a phone call and also revealed how he killed Toyin.
The man, identified as one Aaron Glee Jr., 49 was apprehended after the bodies of Toyin and another woman, identified as 75-year-old Victoria Sims, were found in a home he rented in Tallahassee.
Aaron tried to flee after the murders, but police were able to capture him on a bus in Orlando by Sunday, June 14th.
Aaron’s mother, Sandra Cutliff, revealed to the Daily Mail her son called her Sunday and confessed to the killings. She told the publication that her son said he met Toyin on a bus and invited her to his house so she could shower.
He told his mother Toyin asked him for drugs after her shower and when he refused, she allegedly bit him and called him a “n*gger” and this sent him into a rage.
Sandra Cutliff said,
“He told me that after she got out of the shower she wanted ‘molly’. He told her he wasn’t going to buy it. He said she called him a f—ass n—-r and bit him. That’s what triggered him off.”
It’s reported Aaron strangled Toyin to death.
He also admitted to his mother that he killed Victoria Sims last week after she called him a “slob.” He became enraged and killed her.
Aaron and Victoria have known each other for years. 75-year-old Victoria is a long-time volunteer for AARP Florida and member of Tallahassee Heights United Methodist Church. She was friends with Aaron and helped him look after himself and get government services, Cutliff told Daily Mail. She said Aaron referred to Sims as “Miss Vicky” and his “white grandmother” and would sometimes cook for her.
Cutliff said her son confessed to her that sometime after the first alleged murder, Sims came to his house to check on him. That was when she called him a slob and he killed her.
Salau was last seen on June 6, and Sims on June 11. Days before Salau was found dead, she tweeted about being sexually assaulted by a man who posed as a church member.
Police have not said whether or not Aaron is the same man Salau accused of molesting her before she disappeared. Cutliff said her son did not sexually assault Salau and does not have a vehicle. It has also emerged that Aaron was arrested two weeks ago on May 30 for aggravated battery causing bodily harm and released on a $2,500 bond two days later.
His mother told Daily Mail that the arrest occurred after Aaron attacked a woman at a bus stop when she called him the n-word.
Cutliff, 67, said her son suffered from mental health problems and had been on a downward spiral into a psychotic break over the past few weeks.
Prison records show Aaron has an extensive criminal history dating back to 1989, including convictions for robbery, grand theft auto, credit card fraud, throwing a “deadly missile” at a building and forging bills.

CEO of Invictus group, Obinwanne Okeke, who was arrested in the United States last year, has pleaded guilty to $11 million (N4.2 billion) fraud.
The 32-year-old Nigerian billionaire admitted to American prosecutors that he was involved in computer-based fraud between 2015 and 2019.
A spokesperson for the United States District Court for Eastern District of Virginia, Joshua Stueve, told Premium Times on Thursday evening that Mr Okeke could spend 20 years maximum penalty in an American jail.
He would be sentenced on October 22, Mr Stueve said.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has issued a statement on the arrest of alleged fraudster and socialite, Ray Hushpuppy.
The anti-graft commission disclosed that Hushpuppy has a case to answer over his involvement in a multi-million dollar fraud.
Below is the statement signed by the agency’s media chief, Dele Oyewale;
“Nigerian most-wanted hacker, Ramoni Igbalode, alias Ray hushpuppy, recently arrested by the International Police( Interpol) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation( FBI), has considerable cases of cybercrimes being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission( EFCC).”
“The Commission is familiar with grisly details of his money laundering transactions, involving many high-profile cybercriminals facing trial in Nigeria.”
“The Commission is engaging with the FBI in tracing victims of his fraudulent transactions and other fraudsters having direct involvement with him. Local cybercriminals with money laundering networks with him are also being investigated.”
“Hushpuppi was arrested on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, in United Arab Emirates in connection with $35million ventilator scam.”

Williams revealed he met the young boy, Demola at a carpentry workshop while getting some furniture for his ongoing project.
According him, he decided to engage Demola in a conversation and was surprised to find out he is very smart.
Uchemba then decided to invite the young boy over to his house so he could get to know him better.
He said he found out he graduated from Secondary School with good grades and wanted to study Economics in the university but has no sponsor.
Demola decided to acquire carpentry skills since he could not go to school.
Williams Uchemba has now adopted Demola and has promised to make sure he studies his dream course in the university.
He also said he will mentor him with the knowledge and information that made him who and what he is today until Demola “becomes the man God destined him to be.”

The Inspector-General of Police Monitoring Unit in Lagos State has detained Instagram celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, it has been reported.
Cubana, known for his lavish lifestyle, arrived at the Force Headquarters Annex, Lagos, around 10am and was detained afterwards.
The Instagram celebrity, it was learnt, was invited for alleged misuse of police escorts and weapons as well as unexplained wealth.
A top police source said the investigation was sequel to an order from the Office of the Inspector-General of Police who had expressed shock over the abuse of police personnel.
He said,
“We have detained Cubana Chief Priest and he is facing interrogation for misuse of police personnel as well illegal use of weapon and his extravagant and unexplained lifestyle.”
His arrest comes a month after another Instagram celebrity and Chairman, Five Star Group, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money, was detained for similarly misusing police escort.
Nigerian actress and presenter, Dorcas Shola-Fapson, has disclosed that she had a phone conversation with singer, Dbanj’s accuser, Seyitan, who was arrested two days ago in Lagos.
According to actress, she spoke to Seyitan earlier today who revealed that she had all her things seized from her and left in a cell with criminals.
Dorcas also revealed that Seyitan told her that Dbanj told her that he has paid his lawyers N25Million and that she doesn’t stand a chance against him.
