Peru police arrest Chinese man for illegal COVID-19 testing

The Police in Peru on Sunday arrested a Chinese citizen for illegally conducting rapid COVID-19 tests on the public with newly-delivered kits which were stolen from Peru’s health ministry.

Tianxing Zhang, 36, was apprehended in the Brena district of Lima as he was about to take samples from two women at the door of their house, police said.

He “was proceeding to carry out rapid tests for COVID-19 with kits that he had stolen” from the Lima Sur health authority where he worked, according to a police statement.

“When questioned, he acknowledged he was not authorized to carry out this rapid test and that the Rapid Diagnostic Tests had been stolen from the Directorate of Integrated Health Network of Lima Sur where he had worked,” the police said.

According to the police, the bespectacled Zhang confessed to stealing two batches of the test to use, for monetary gain, on people who suspected they were ill with the coronavirus.

Police found a backpack with 25 COVID-19 tests and other medical supplies at his home, according to AFP.

“I think there’s a special kind of evil in Nigeria” – Actress, Dolly Unachukwu says about power supply in Nigeria

Nigerian actress, Dolly Unachukwu has pondered about the power supply situation in the country in a post on her Instagram page.

The actress who revealed that she’s been lived in the UK for more than two years and as experienced steady power supply like the air she breathes, asked whether there’s a special kind of evil in Nigeria.

She wonders about the possibility of a particular kind of evil that even the leaders of the country find it hard to contain. In the post on her IG page, the actress wrote,

You asked people to stay at home in darkness. Come on! let there be light.
I have lived in the UK for close to 2 decades. Here, stable power supply is like the air we breathe. It makes me wonder if the light issue in Nigeria is entirely a leadership thing or if there is more to it than we know.
How are we sure there isn’t a special kind of evil which our leaders themselves are finding so hard to contain? Can different cabinets keep failing Nigerians over and over again without a hidden reason?
To be in darkness helplessly for several years as a nation is a special kind of evil that warrants a special kind of investigation. ?

Seriously, why can’t there be light in Nigeria?

Popular Cleric, Chris Oyakhilome who has steadily made news headlines this past week, has backtracked on his recent comment about 5G network being related with coronavirus and also a part of the antichrist to create a new world order.

He said;

“I have to look at my calling as a priority and I’m into the healing ministry. You may be a pastor or a minister and not be into the healing ministry, this may not concern you.”

I had suicidal thoughts – Nigerian singer, Jumabee shares his experience after testing positive for Coronavirus (video)

UK-based Nigerian singer, Jumabee has shared his experience after testing positive for Coronavirus in the UK.

According to the singer, it all began two weeks ago after he developed high fever, severe headache and body pains. He further revealed that he thought it was malaria but it got worse after 3 days.

Read his lengthy post below ;

MY EASTER TESTIMONY: HE IS RISEN THEREFORE I AM RISEN

HOW I AROSE FROM COVID-19.

I am sharing my story firstly to testify to the goodness of God and also to lend my voice to the numerous ongoing covid-19 campaigns.

About 2 weeks ago I developed high fever, severe headache and body pains, I thought it was malaria being that I had just come in from Nigeria so I started treating malaria but 3 days later my health got worse, I lost my appetite and became very weak. I couldn’t even sit up let alone stand or walk.

At this point I was thinking hope this is not covid 19 understanding that the UK was a high burden zone, but as I wasn’t coughing at the time, I tried to convince myself it was probably a bacterial infection so I started taking antibiotics, along with paracetamol and a lot of water but still no improvement then I certainly knew I needed help.

We called the ambulance consistently for 3 days but there was no response and even the times they responded, they said they were very busy and could not come. On the third day, they finally showed up, but at this moment, I was already battling for my life, I could no longer breathe properly, I was gasping for breath. Just before the doctors arrived that day I collapsed, I was literally gone. My friends had to perform CPR on me to resuscitate me.

When the paramedics finally came, they confirmed it was covid 19 but that they couldn’t take me to the hospital because all the hospitals were filled up and the NHS was overly overwhelmed, they said even if they took me to the hospital, I would most likely get worse because of the conditions there so they recommended I stayed at home and fight for my life.
After they left, I started having suicidal thoughts, nothing mattered anymore. I got even worse, cough started along with severe diarrhea, my skin began to peel too. Something just had to be done, with the help of many, we found a private hospital after days of search where I was stabilized for days.

On returning home after testing negative. I looked at myself in the mirror and couldn’t believe my eyes, I had lost so much weight, I started crying because I had thought that was the end for me but God gave me my life back.

With prayers, support of family and friends and home remedies like steam inhalation with vaporub and olbas oil, drinking of warm fluids with lemon/lime, ginger and honey, I fought covid 19 and won. I went to heaven and back. This is not an experience I wish for anyone, no one at all.

I told God I’d testify of his goodness if He gave me another opportunity and that is why I am here sharing my testimony. Please guys, abide by all the health guidelines for covid 19 so you don’t get infected, I am another living testimony that you can recover from covid 19 but dear brothers and sisters, prevention truly is better than cure.
