Chinese club offers Jude Ighalo £400k (N180million) a week contract

Shanghai Shenhua offers

Shanghai Shenhua of China has offered Nigeria International and Man Utd forward, Odion Ighalo an eye popping £400,000 (N180million) per week contract to stay with them – a huge blow to his current team who this week offered the Nigerian a new deal to remain at the club.

Ighalo was signed by Manchester United in January on loan from Shanghai Shenhua as a back up for injured, Marcus Rashford but has surpassed expectations with his performances and goals for the club.

Ighalo was already making £300,000-a-week contract in China before joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side but took a 40 percent pay-cut to seal his switch to United.

Manchester United added £8,000 per goal bonuses to sign him up in January and were already planning to give him a new permanent deal to ward off suitors. But with the offer coming from China, Manchester United’s plans of signing him could now be in limbo as they have no plans of even matching up to half of that offer.

Refer anyone with Coronavirus to me for free treatment – Bishop Sam Zuga

Bishop Sam Zuga of house of Joy ministry, the founder of both Samzuga free medical treatment and Samzuga international has offered to treat anyone with coronavirus free of charge and also said, “anyone with corona virus should be referred to him for treatment”

Speaking at the healing crusade organised to sensitize people about Coronavirus in Yola, Adamawa, Sam Zuga shed more lights on why he is not afraid of the deadly virus.

He also reiterated his willingness to heal anyone who has the virus also known as Covid-19.

Bishop Sam Zuga said: “No virus can survive in my body, my body is the temple of God, it can’t accommodate anything called virus.”

He continued, “Corona virus is not different from other diseases God has been using me to heal. A virus cannot decide for me. I can stay at home when I want, not when Corona is giving orders.

I can’t stop going to church because of a mere virus. How can I dishonor the Creator because of the creature? I cannot help the devil to kill people by forcing them to stay at home and be killed of hunger. There is no difference between who died of Corona virus and who died of hunger.

People that are killed by Boko Haram and herdsmen are more than Corona in Nigeria.

If we acted drastically against these two as we did to Corona virus, Nigeria could have finished with the issue of insecurity since.

I am the light of the world. Light is needed when there is darkness. Corona virus is the current darkness in the world. How can light run away from darkness?

Christians were crying that Buhari is islamizing Nigeria. Now that common virus is closing churches, what name can we give this? Is it ‘coronising’ Nigeria or ‘virusing’ Nigeria?

The darker the darkness the brighter the light, I will use this thick darkness and shine the light of Christ among Nations. This is the best time to prove that Jesus Christ defeated Satan truly.”

The Bishop widely known for his philanthropy also challenged the devil together with his killing agent called Coronavirus.

He personally anointed over ten thousands participants in the healing crusade tagged, ” ANOINTING FOR PRESERVATION”.

“I am calling on all sick people, not only victims of Coronavirus in Nigeria and beyond to meet me in Yola, Adamawa State. They will surely go back with a tangible testimony,” he assured.

President Buhari approves 10 Billion Naira Grant to Lagos State to fight Coronavirus.

Nigerians say

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has revealed he has approved a grant of 10 Billion Naira to Lagos state and also the immediate release of a 5 billion Naira Special intervention fund to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control to fight the novel coronavirus.

The President who made this known via social media, further assured Nigerians that the Federal Government remains commited to protecting all Nigerians.

Read his post below ;

Over the last few days I have received extensive briefings on the state of the nation as it relates to the Covid-19 pandemic, from the relevant Federal Government agencies as well as the Lagos State Government.

Accordingly, I approved the following:

The immediate release of a 10 billion Naira grant to Lagos State, which remains the epicentre of the Covid-19 outbreak in Nigeria. This grant will enable Lagos State increase its capacity to control and contain the outbreak, while also supporting other States with capacity building.

The immediate release of a 5 billion Naira special intervention fund to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) to equip, expand and provide personnel to its facilities and laboratories across the country.

The Nigerian Air Force is already making its fleet available to the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, to enable a better coordinated and more effective response across the country.

To protect our homeland from external exposure, I directed the immediate closure of our International Airports and Land Borders for four weeks in the first instance, to enable us put up the appropriate policies, processes and infrastructure to cope with suspected and confirmed cases at home, without risking a compounding of the situation with more imported cases.

The inconvenience caused by these flight and travel restrictions to our fellow citizens abroad who want to return home is regrettable, but it is necessary for the greater good, and I thank you all for your understanding and cooperation.

I have also directed that only cargo vessels that have been at sea for more than 14 days be allowed to dock in our ports, after the crew have been tested and confirmed disease-free by the Port Health Authorities. This 14-day restriction however does not apply to vessels carrying oil and gas products as by their nature, there is minimal human contact.

We have also suspended the movement of commuter trains to limit the spread of the virus to other parts of the country.

I have directed the NCDC to draft all its recent retirees back into service to beef up our manpower as we respond to the pandemic.

Furthermore, all NCDC staff and experts who are away on training or international assignments are to return immediately. Already the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) are conducting an evacuation mission to bring back some of our specialists in Central Africa, to enable them support the national response.

I commend the monetary policy authorities for their financial intervention to support our entrepreneurs and companies as we go through this difficult time. We are also looking at fiscal measures to minimise the negative impact of this pandemic on the livelihood of millions of Nigerians.

As you are aware we have begun the process of reviewing the federal budget. We shall communicate our fiscal interventions once the budget review process is concluded.

In the meantime, I have directed the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, to work with the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, to ensure that all production of essential items such as food, medical and pharmaceutical products continues unhindered.

We are engaging our international friends and partners to share knowledge and to seek their support in our response to the pandemic. We are grateful for the show of support thus far – we have already started receiving goods and supplies intended to help us scale up our efforts.

Let me specially thank and commend all of the hard and heroic work being done by our medical personnel, the NCDC, Port Health Authorities, Security Agencies, State Governments, and all ad-hoc staff and volunteers.

I urge all Nigerians to be mindful of those among us who seek to spread panic and misinformation, and sow confusion at this time. We must all pay attention only to the relevant government agencies working day and night to make accurate and useful information available to the public.

I will also ask all of us to strictly obey all public health guidelines and instructions issued by the Federal and State health authorities, regarding personal hygiene and social distancing. These guidelines will be updated from time to time as new information and treatments are obtained.

In the meantime, I want to assure all Nigerians, that the Federal Government remains committed to protecting all Nigerians. We seek your full support and cooperation as we go through this very difficult time. Together we will triumph over this pandemic.

Over fear of Coronavirus, man uses stick to operate ATM (Video)

The rising cases of the novel Coronavirus in the country with over 50 confirmed cases as at the time of filing this post, has had Nigerian citizens in fears and at the same time taking precautionary measures so as to not contract the disease.

Nigerians are not taking any chances with the pandemic that as of this moment, is without any cure whatsoever. Washing hands regularly, staying home and others are some of the measures citizens are taking to curb the spread of the virus.

Most people are also scared to touch surfaces as it’s been said that the virus is made of droplets that comes from an infected person’s cough or sneeze and can stay on surfaces for a long period of time.

With this knowledge, a Nigerian man that was spotted using the ATM made good sure that he was not going to touch the machine as he uses it… he then improvises by using a stick to operate the machine.

Surprised by the gentleman’s ‘extreme measure’, someone who was waiting in line to also use the ATM took a video of him as he used the withdrawing machine.

#Covid-19: We’re all fake believers – Pastor Giwa blasts Christians

Pastor Giwa blasts Christians

The senior clergyman of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa has charged the Nigerian government to allow churches to worship and fellowship – he says this should be done so as to put the devil to shame.

Pastor Giwa blasts Christians

Giwa, in a statement forwarded to DAILY POST on Thursday, also charged Christians across the globe to wake up and defeat the devil.

According to him, you can’t fight the devil when congregations are banned from worshiping together.

“In the Book of Mathew 18:20, Jesus says where two or three are gathered, I will be there. Telling churches to close their doors to their flocks is a ploy to weaken Christians while empowering the devil,” he declared.

The cleric said it was now glaring that the outbreak of covid-19 epidemic was deliberately planted to weaken and distract Christians from serving God.

He said, “I wonder how our God will be feeling knowing that millions of people all over the world who claim to love Him, pray to Him, and sing praises to Him are all fake.

“We all gladly ran away from church at the mention of orchestrated Coronavirus. I am very saddened by this thought and I pray God to forgive all of us, fake believers.

“We shut down without putting up a fight for Christ. I am reminded of Apostle Peter who denied Christ three times before the rooster crowed. I pray Jehovah to forgive my ignorance and I implore all of you to join me in prayers and supplication to our unshakable Jehovah.

“Jesus said it in the book of Matthew 10:39 that he who finds his life would lose it, and he who loses his life for His sake would find it.” We abandoned the church to preserve our lives instead of losing our lives while fighting to keep God’s supposed church.

“Please, let us all get down on our knees for the next three – four weeks and pray against this attempt at introducing the antichrist prematurely to the world.”
