Veteran actress, Jaiye Kuti, has spoken out on how she feels on the influences on some of the new actresses in the movies industry, which according to her, are the ones engaging in immoral acts
In an interview with The Punch, there are only few new eggs in the movie industry, and these are the ones giving the good ones bad names.
“I am part of the industry and I have friends there as well. It is totally unacceptable to say that actresses don’t have morals. We have people that are of good moral standing. However, a lot of people that came from nowhere all in the name of wanting to be actresses, are now there. So, doves have been mixed with chickens.
Some of these people (that engage in immoral acts) were not even part of us originally. I crossed over from English movies to acting in Yoruba films, yet I still had to go and meet the elders to formally tell them that I wanted to be part of them.

A Nigerian Man has taken to his facebook page to share a bizzare story of an incestuous relationship he had with his ‘Blood Sister’.
The man identified as Zeromni Freedom, took to Facebook to narrate how he had sex with his blood sister numerous times.
Zeromni who started off by stating that there is nothing wrong with having sex with relatives, pointed out that many have had sex with their blood sisters and cousins but kept it a secret because the society will frown at it.
His post reads ;
I ONCE FUCKED MY SISTER
People always shy away from this question : “Where did Cain get wife?” Who did cain fuck? If the bible story was real, or let’s assume it’s real, cain must have fucked his sister. Now , the story may not be true, but so many of us have fucked our blood sister and brother or cousins but we kept it secret because our environment frown against it so we hide it and keep it secret.
In some countries, it is legal for siblings or relative to marry each other and have sex. The truth is that ,there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with incest. People create law to make it wrong and we grow with that mentality that it’s wrong. Animals fuck each other , they fuck their siblings and enjoy life. We too are animals, we are more intelligent, yes. But we experience nature the way other animals do too.
When I fucked my blood sister , it was long time ago. We were playing on bed and she had only her short skirt and pant, we didn’t know when we kissed and start romance and we fucked . It happened like 3 times and I also fuck one of my cousins .it was consensual. We both want it. We kept it secret until we outgrow the feelings and they are married now .
The truth is that if many of us will be honest and truthful, some of us had fucked our relatives. We just kept quiet about it because we don’t want people to know the truth. We keep it secret because we don’t want people to blame us or condmn us. But it’s life it happens.
Now, I am NOT talking about forced sex . You don’t have to rape your sibling or cousin because you have a sexual feelings for them. Thats wrong. The feelings must be mutual and you must both consent to it before it happens.
If you see it as bad and wrong, don’t do it. If your country have a law against it, go to another country where it is allowed. Live your true life. Enjoy your life as it is. If there were truly a Cain then, he must had fuck his sister. If the story is a myth, then take a study of all of animals and find out if they fuck their siblings, if it’s true , which I know it is, then why should human be any different?

An infected hemorrhoid requires medical treatment to reduce the chances of complications. Read on to learn about what causes infected hemorrhoids, and how to treat them.

For this year’s International Women’s Day, TECNO did not pass up on the opportunity to take a stand in a world where the achievements and challenges of women are as lauded as those of their male counterparts in a level playing field.
In a video, they highlighted people who thrive in the gender roles assigned to the opposite sex both in the office and at home.
There was a dad changing his baby’s diaper expertly, a female dispatch rider who handled her bike like a pro, a career lady who adeptly changed her flat tyre, a man whose haggling skills in the market will dethrone a typical African mother, a lady who systematically and neatly washed her car and a man whose cooking skills will get your tongue wagging.
This video was aimed at getting the minds of people out of the box that culture and social constructs have locked them in and into the brightness of enlightenment. The video points to the fact that these supposed ‘gender’ roles are in fact, not gender specific. It shifts focus away from gender to getting things done when they need to be done regardless of the gender available at the time without unduly putting pressure on anyone. Click here to watch the video.
While most brands still stand aloof and impersonal on societal issues, brands like TECNO speak up and take a stand. The smartphone brand pays attention to issues/events that influence their fans and seamlessly become empathic or celebratory as the case might be. They never fail to lend their voice to a cause or sit on the fence concerning a commemorative event.
To further drive this point home, TECNO asked a group of people to mention some roles they fill that are sometimes seen as strange or untraditional in the society. Very interesting statements came up like;
I cook while she watches TV #SoWhat?
I am a lady, I foot my bills always #SoWhat?
I cook for my girlfriend #SoWhat?
I can price more than my wife that they call me alaroro #SoWhat?
I report to a woman in the office #SoWhat?
I cook while she watches telemundo #SoWhat?
My wife is on Instagram and I’m doing her laundry #SoWhat?
My wife bought the car I drive #SoWhat?
He cannot change his car tyre, but I can, and I do it #SoWhat?
We go on a date and she pays the bill #SoWhat?
Also, TECNO sat with people from different walks of life and discussed the effect of gender roles. Here is how it went.
Vincent, PR and Communications Manager
Q: Is it okay for a woman to pay when you are on a date?
Hmmm…Yes, actually. So honestly ehn, it’s used to be hard sha. As much as I know there’s no harm whatsoever, I’d always feel awkward every time it had to happen. Sometimes a funny and long argument comes before I agree, if ever. Now, I see it like she’s getting me a gift, so I find it a cool and romantic gesture. Also gives me a feeling that “I’m not alone in this thing after all”!
Charles, Digital Marketing Executive
Q: If you get home from work before your wife, will you consider making dinner or she has to return from work and make it herself? What would you say about gender roles in the home?
Of course, yes. I don’t always wait for her to come home before I make dinner. She works farther away from me than me and has to go through traffic almost every night. The issue isn’t really who does what in my home. The issue is to get things done so that life will be as easy as possible for both of us. So, yes. There are some specified roles between my wife and me, but sometimes that doesn’t matter. The goal is always to ensure that things are easy for each other regardless of who does what.
Efe, Communications Executive
Q: Why do you feel gender equality is important in the work place?
At this point in the world, gender equality in the work place is very important. It can’t be overemphasized. I feel like genders shouldn’t been seen. If you employed me to fill a specific role, then whether or not I meet those KPIs of that role should be what is concentrated on and not my gender. So yes, gender equality is important in the workplace as it gives a level playing ground for growth to everyone.
Chinma, Digital Marketing Manager
Q: Do you feel like you operate in a male dominated space and have to adhere to male centric standards?
Do I feel I operate in a male dominated space? Well, following the analysis online, Digital Marketing Industry is a male dominate industry, but do I have to adhere to male centric standard? Not all. The industry is less about the people you work with and more about the people you are trying to reach and understanding consumer behavior. And because digital has a lot of different parts, It requires a lot of attention, a lot of innovation and efficiency. When it comes to such detailed skills required in this industry, you find them more in women: Creative, bold and active thinking. Women have more capacity in the field of problem solving, they create alternatives and find creative ways of solving everyday problems and this increases productivity both and home and at work. So when you have a skill that works, and yields better result, why adhere to a particular standard “male centric standard’’. I only standard in quote ‘’result oriented standard.
Madam Eno, Data Expert
Q: How have you been able to combine your culturally assigned roles with your career duties over the years?
The secret is always a supportive and understanding spouse o! Madam Eno: When you have a supportive spouse, you will have the opportunity to concentrate on building a career because you’ll know when you drop the ball, he is there to pick it up and ensure that things run smoothly.
If, however you have to always be so bothered about your affairs at home, it then becomes almost impossible to make anything of your career life.
These are interesting and eye-opening conversations that we hope will continue in homes and offices across the country and start a positive chain reaction.
I don’t recall International Women’s day being this interesting! TECNO always finds the classiest, most relatable ways to get a message said.

The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria, Rev. Dr Chidi Okoroafor, has been sacked over an alleged affair with a US based woman.

Controversial Media Personality, Daddy Freeze has reacted to the news of the arrest of the woman popular known as ‘miracle vixen’ who was used by different pastors to perform fake miracles.
Daddy Freeze, who is renowned for being a staunch critic of some clerics, stated that ”it is sad our faith has become the devil’s worship”.
His Instagram post reads;
It’s so sad that our faith has become this devil worship. Our quest for miracles and quick wealth has turned us into a wicked and adulterous generation.
I feel sorry for her though, hope the pastors also get arrested because it’s no use arresting the woman while the main culprits walk free.
It’s working for me gang, Una see am??
◄ Matthew 12:39 ► New International Version.
He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
As seen on blog…
I am a moslem, but the pastor, prophet Abbey would only ask me to bring my hand down and I will start bringing it down as if his power was the thing bringing it down and be jumping up in joy to the deceit of the congregation who often clapped with joy and praising God for the miracle. I cannot remember the names of all the churches she took me to because their names were not disclosed to me.
When I was in Lagos, she used to come and carry me in my rented one room apartment at Igando area of Lagos but in Port Harcourt and Abakaliki, she puts me in one of the rooms in the church premises. The performance in Port Harcourt was in Borikkiiri area.
After 9:00.am, I would follow Fatila to wherever she wanted us to go and sleep. She never used me for prostitution”. Speaking further, she said
I lost my conscience because suffering weakened my sense of reasoning. I needed money to treat my hand and everybody abandoned me. I needed to feed myself. I needed to survive.
Though I want to be healed, but with this experience, it would be hard for me to believe any pastor again. I don’t believe any pastor can heal me. If I see all the pastors involved in the scam with me, I will confront them.
They cannot deny me. If I see the woman, Fatila that carried me to them, I will hold her. I won’t mind the help she rendered to me because she used me to make money also and paid me peanuts.
My only regret is that I knew that it was a fake miracle performance, which deceived many genuine children of God and enriched the fake miracle performing pastors and prophets.
The police in Lagos have arrested 44-year-old woman, Bose Olasukanmi, who was used by several pastors to perform fake miracle in their churches.
The woman’s fake miracle went viral in October last year after several videos of her being ”healed” of her bad hand, surfaced online. According to Guardian, police sources say Olasukanmi moved to a different church after being paid for every successful performance so that their trick would not be exposed by people or relations who may see her during her next performance.
Speaking to newsmen after her arrest, Olasukanmi revealed how she got into the business of ”fake miracles.”
“I am from Ilesha, Osun State. I am married. I had three children. Unfortunately, two died few hours after delivery. My husband loved me so much that he did not want me to do anything. He wanted me to be a housewife and he had been honouring my request and he treated me like a queen.
Unfortunately, when he died, my life changed and I started suffering as everybody abandoned me. Though I had my primary school certificate, the only work available at the time was to go and serve a food seller at least, to be sure of daily bread. When the suffering became unbearable, I decided to relocate to Lagos for a greener pasture in 1989. Unfortunately, in 1990, I lost my mother and I went back home to give my caring mother the last respect.
After the burial of my mother I came back to Lagos and secured a job in a food restaurant in Surulere area of Lagos without salary as Food Assistant. However the owner of the food center allows me to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner as I liked. Even customers sometimes gave me tip, which I used to buy soap to wash my clothes, body cream and personal need. I did not save a dime but it helped me a lot.
I worked for 9 years without salary and I had no alternative than to start planning on how to open my own food center or even food hawking in Surulere. Unfortunately for me, as I was walking on the road, one evening, a vehicle from nowhere had a break failure hit me to the ground and broke my right arm and left leg.
I had no money to treat myself as the driver that hit me abandoned me later. Life became hard for me, as I had stopped living with my sister before I had the accident. I lost my husband in October 2018 and this made me to go and live with my sister, but when I secured this food-selling job, I relocated by renting a room in the same Surulere area.
After the accident, everyone abandoned me and I had no money to continue to pay for a room.
It was under this condition that I met a woman friend in 2008. Her name is Fatila Musa. She used to give me money to eat and ameliorate my suffering. One day she took me to her church and told me that the church had a two-month programme that would start from September to October and she would like me to accompany her.
When I accepted, she told me that I should use what I have to get what I want. I did not understand what she meant by using what I have as woman to get what I want considering what the accident had done to my body. She then told me that what I have can help me to get what I wanted and that that gift I have is my broken right arm.
I then asked her how? She said she would teach me how to carry my hand and how to bring it down in such a way that the congregation would believe me and when I collect the money for the role I played, it will be reasonable to start my life.
After a one-day rehearsal, she took me to a pastor at Calvary Close, Ogba area of Lagos. She said the name of the church is Radiant Army Deliverance Ministry a.k.a Anthony Anthony.
The first day I performed, I got N9, 000. Life became sweet as the pastors were happy with my performance, but when people started gossiping that police may raid the place one day, the pastor told members to be carrying me away fast anytime I finish my performance.
When the suspicion became too much, they started substituting my role with video recorded performance. In 2009 she carried me to a church in Port Harcourt. I performed in three churches in the three days we stayed there. The same year, we moved to Abakiliki area of Ebonyi State.
I am a moslem, but the pastor, prophet Goffrey Abbey would only ask me to bring my hand down and I will start bringing it down as if his power was the thing bringing it down and be jumping up in joy to the deceit of the congregation who often clapped with joy and praising God for the miracle. I cannot remember the names of all the churches she took me to because their names were not disclosed to me.

It is this same fake miracle performance I was involved in that made my father to get stroke when he heard that they were using me to make money.
In the first performance I got N9, 000, second performance N7, 000, third performance N10, 000. In Port Harcourt I got N10, 000, N7, 000 and N15, 000 while in Abakaliki, I performed only once before IRT operatives stormed there and whisked me from where Fatila hid me. If I regain my freedom, I will not do it again. I will look for genuine business to do.
My advice to people who go to church is that they should open their eyes well and know the type of church they are worshipping. If they are careful, they would discover on time whether they are in a genuine church or with fake pastors and prophets.”she said
Olasukanmi has promised the police to lead them to the different pastors that used her in exchange for her freedom.
An Ex-Oyo court registrar, Mutiat Omobola Adio has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for stealing N22.3 million meant for judicial officers’ Cooperative society in the state.
Adio was convicted after being arraigned in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on a one count charge bordering on stealing.
EFCC’s spokesperson, Tony Orilade told newsmen that it was the “second time in less than two years that the former top government official would earn jail term for fraud-related offences.”
The convict was “accused of stealing a sum of N22,375,913 (Twenty Two Million, Three Hundred and Seventy-Five Thousand, Nine Hundred and Thirteen Naira), from Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, an offence that runs contrary to section 390(11) of Criminal Code, Cap.38, Law of Oyo State.”
She reportedly “abused her office as the secretary of a Cooperative Society of the Oyo State Judicial Officers by inflating the total sum approved for loan facilities granted her members by GTBank and converting the difference to personal use. She was said to be the facilitator of the loan which totaled about N90 million.”
It was also gathered that she was “sentenced to seven years imprisonment in 2018 for obtaining under false pretense the sum of N9.2 million from one Abiodun Olonade, a Nigerian resident in Ireland. The sentencing was without an option of fine.”
She has also been ordered to pay back the sum of N20, 935,000 to GTBank.
