A 28-year- old man, who allegedly killed his Facebook friend and dumped the corpse in a bush in Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State, said he took his life because the deceased insisted on having sex with him.
The suspect, Angus Chukwebuka Nwankwo and his brother Chidiebere Omeyi, were among the over 100 suspects paraded weekend before newsmen at the Police headquarters in Amawbia, Awka South South Local Government Area of the state.
Nwankwo said he met with the deceased on Facebook where they agreed to meet in Nanka for homosexual acts.
He said the deceased had promised to offer him N20,000 if he succeeded in having sex with him.
He said: “We met on Facebook and he asked if I can engage in homosexual acts with him and I said no, but after much pressure I succumbed.
“He promised to give me N20,000 if I agree to have sex with him. As soon as he came in, I asked for the money and he said he would give me the money after satisfying the sexual urge which brought him all the way from Imo State.
“I insisted he must pay me the money he promised. That was how the fight started. He was the first to hit me with a stick and I fell down.
“My younger brother who was with me held him down while I stood up and picked the stick and hit him and he died.”
The suspect however denied dumping him in the bush, but said he and his brother reported themselves to a vigilante group, which took them to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in Nanka as there was no police station in the area.
On his part, the suspect’s younger brother, Chidiebere told newsmen that his brother was not a homosexaul but into comedy and music as well as learning plumbing work in Lagos.
He said he returned from Lagos to the village to attend a burial function.
“My senior brother told me there is one homosexual coming to our place who promised to give him N20,000 after the sexual act. He said as soon as the man comes, he will just collect his money from him and discharge him.

29-year-old Kenyan lady identified as Julian Peter was totally distraught on the day she found out she was born without a vagina.
Speaking with BBC’s Anne Ngugi, Julian revealed that she was born with the condition called Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH), where you have no womb or vagina, and you can also find yourself with just one kidney.
A woman who has MRKH can never get periods.
I don’t have a uterus, so I’ve never had periods. This is the normal that I know, I don’t feel bad about it. People have different feelings about who I am. They can say whatever they want. Someone told me that I should go somewhere to be prayed for” she said
She went further to say
Another person said that because I come from Ukambani [a region that is stereotypically linked to witchcraft] then my grandmother had something to do with this.
They can say whatever they want to but what really matters is how I take it. If I were to listen to them it would start affecting me, and I would start thinking that what they were saying was true.
I discovered I had the syndrome when I was a 17-year-old school student.
I went to hospital as I had problem with my legs, which were swollen. The first thing the doctor asked me was when I last had my period. I had never had one.
They did a scan. The first image indicated that my reproductive tract was closed from the outside.
I went through an operation to open it, which was not successful.
I had another scan that showed I had no uterus or vagina, and that was when I was diagnosed with MRKH.
I cried on the first day and the second day and the third, but then I moved on. I was only 17 and quite small, so my priority was to get back to school.
I was in hospital with my mother, my only parent, and the diagnosis shocked her. I think as a parent there were questions she was bound to ask herself, Essentially she was wondering if she had done something wrong.
‘I didn’t want the operation’
As I had studied biology, I understood what the doctor was saying that first time.
I told her that I didn’t want to go through with an operation at that point as I wanted to go back to school to complete my education.
Ten years later, I went back to hospital and had a successful operation.
The type of MRKH that I had meant that I had no vagina, no womb and I only have one kidney. My vaginal canal was not there and it had to be created.
My life is normal as MRKH does not interfere with how I want to live. But for some it is emotionally disturbing and people might need to go to a psychologist to accept the condition.
When you realise the implications of the condition that you have, you have to forget about giving birth to children.
I have had four scans and no ovaries were found, so even retrieving eggs for IVF cannot be done.
You must accept the way you are. But realising that you are not like other women is difficult, you need someone who you can talk to.
I’ve met many people here in Kenya with the condition and we share our experiences. I accepted my condition early on and I have accepted myself, so I’m OK.
I have been in relationships. But I don’t let things go too far before sitting down with them and letting them know about my condition.
If they want to accept it they will accept it. But you know, human beings are just human beings.
A large percentage of the people I have told have gone away. Others accuse me of lying, they think that I am saying it to chase them away.
Right now I’m not in a relationship, but it’s all God’s doing.
When it comes to having sex, I had the surgery to reconstruct the vaginal canal in 2018, so it’s just over a year after and I am not ready to have sex.
Neither am I ready to get married. If we wanted to have children we could adopt.
It took me at least 10 years to decide to share my story with the public.
There are people who do not understand what MRKH is and I want to raise awareness.

Ifu Ennada has fired back at some Instagram users who she accused of hating and bodyshaming her over the ”coronavirus” outfit she wore to the 7th edition of the AMVCA.
The ex reality show star who disclosed that she doesn’t mind having contrary opinions on her post, stated that she is calling out the women for bodyshaming her and insulting her designer.
Sharing photos of the allged trolls, Ifu Ennada wrote;
See some of the ladies hating and bodyshaming me because of my #AMVCA2020 #CORONAVIRUSFASHION outfit last night. How you gotta be shaped like expired Tissue Roll laced in a timely concoction of ugliness and still have the mind to troll me? Akwa Nwa dika’m, Egovin Nwa dika’m.
_____
The lady at the top left so ugly and disheveled she had to cut her face off in her own picture. . I know this is way out of character for someone like me, but pls let me just enjoy this moment.
_____
I don’t mind contrary opinions on my posts, not everyone likes Plantain (I personally don’t), but when you now start bodyshaming me, insulting the designer and really just taking the piss, then you truly have a devil inside of you and I will destroy that devil with words if I have to.
_____
Once again you can express your dislike for something without talking down on the subjects of the topic. I won’t tag these ladies because they deserve to be nameless and unrecognised for the rest of their lives. (Again I was probably too harsh with this last sentence, but I’ll take down the post soon, I just want them to suffer small depression which is what they would have drove me into if I didn’t have a strong spirit).

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says Sunday’s explosion which occurred at Abule Ado, Trade Fair axis of Lagos State was not caused by a disruption of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) oil pipeline.
Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, Acting Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office, NEMA, made the clarification in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
Farinloye said that contrary to information earlier put out on the social media, the explosion which occurred at about 9a.m. was unconnected to pipeline vandalism.
“From the information given by officials of the Lagos State Fire Service who are currently on ground, the implosion is not connected to pipeline but might have occurred in a factory located in the Abule Ado area.
“Emergency responders are on ground while others are still on their way to the scene. The situation is under control and we hope to get more information soon to ascertain its cause,” he said.
Farinloye said the NNPC had shutdown the pipeline passing through the area as a precautionary measure after the oil company was notified of the incident.
