Volunteers will reportedly receive £3,500 to be infected with coronavirus in a bid to find a cure for the deadly virus.

Volunteers are being paid to be intentionally infected with coronavirus and live in quarantine at the Queen Mary BioEnterprises Innovation Centre in Whitechapel.

According to The Daily Star, They will be injected with two common but much less serious strains of the virus.

Hvivo, the company behind the laboratory at Queen Mary, will be infecting 24 volunteers at a time with the 0C43 and 229E strains of the virus. It is thought these strains will cause mild respiratory symptoms and be much less severe than the coronavirus that is currently spreading around the globe.

It is assumed a vaccine can be developed from this testing that would tackle the destructive virus.

Anyone who has volunteered to take part in this study will have to stay in quarantine for two weeks.

There will be some restrictions placed on the participants during this time, including no exercise or physical contact with other people. They will only be able to eat and drink certain foods.

Any nurses or doctors who work on this study will have to wear ventilators and protective clothes while they are working in the lab or with any material that may be infected with the virus, such as dirty tissues or blood tests.

The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency will have to agree on Hvivo’s plans before this experiment can take place.

This testing is part of a $2bn global effort to find a vaccine for coronavirus. Over 20 Covid-19 vaccines are currently being developed, according to the World Health Organisation.

Following the experiment, the most effective drugs and vaccines will be chosen, and these will be used on patients who naturally contract coronavirus.

The Police in Katsina State have arrested 27-year-old, Shaf’u Haruna, for allegedly killing a young girl identified as Hamsiya Lawal, over dispute on the ownership of her pregnancy.

According to the state police command spokesperson, Gambo Isah, Haruna of the Dorawar Natiba, Birdigau village, Kankara LGA of Katsina state, allegedly killed the victim who he claims was his girlfriend sometime in December, 2019 over dispute on the ownership of her pregnancy.

Haruna who went into hiding after commiting the said crime, was caught and arrested last Tuesday.

According to the police spokesman, Haruna tricked the victim to a nearby bush, where he allegedly strangled and smashed her brain with heavy stone, killing her instantly.

Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide also known as Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said that the present government of Nigeria which is the Buhari-led administration, is the worst thing that has ever happened to Nigeria.

Speaking on Sunday March 8th during a sermon in the church’s second service at Faith Tabernacle, Ota, Ogun State, Oyedepo also criticised the hate speech bill being sponsored by Senator Sabi Abdullahi.

Men of the Lagos state police command have arrested a 16-year-old girl, Timilehin Taiwo, for stabbing a 49-year-old security guard, Babatunde Ishola, to death at the Aboru area of the state on Saturday March 7th.

A statement released by the state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana today Sunday March 8th, said that at about 3pm on Saturday, men of the Oke Odo Police Station received an information that one Babatunde Ishola who was a security guard in a school at Aboru, was stabbed to death by an SS3 Student.

Homicide detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer, Oke Odo, visited the crime scene at Ogundele Street, Aboru, where the corpse of the man was found lying in a pool of his blood. The suspect was then arrested and the knife she used in stabbing the deceased person was recovered, while the corpse was evacuated to the hospital for post mortem examination.

In her statement, Timilehin told the police that the deceased who is her father’s friend, invited her to his house to assist him in fetching water as he lives alone and she had always been helping him with house chores.

Timilehin said on Saturday while she was helping the deceased, he attempted to rape her. She said in an attempt to defend herself, she picked up a knife and stabbed him.

Bala said the state Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu psc has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba for discreet investigation

A Nigerian Man has taken to his facebook page to share a bizzare story of an incestuous relationship he had with his ‘Blood Sister’.

The man identified as Zeromni Freedom, took to Facebook to narrate how he had sex with his blood sister numerous times.

Zeromni who started off by stating that there is nothing wrong with having sex with relatives, pointed out that many have had sex with their blood sisters and cousins but kept it a secret because the society will frown at it.

If the story is a myth, then take a study of all of animals and find out if they fuck their siblings, if it’s true , which I know it is, then why should human be any different?
