2018 Big Brother Naija housemate, Lolu has finally unveiled his girlfriend as he wished her a happy birthday on Instagram.
Lolu who was formerly linked to his co-reality show star Anto, penned down a romantic birthday post to his girlfriend who he addressed as “Sweetpea” on the social media platform.
He however turned off the comment section of the Instagram post, leading to speculation of not wanting troll comments on the post.

Glo takes Brand of the Decade award, as Adenuga emerges Entrepreneur of the Decade at Thisday Awards.
Thisday Newspapers has named Nigeria’s digital transformation company, Globacom, the Brand of the Decade. The newspaper gave the award on Monday as part of activities marking its Silver Jubilee anniversary.
The colourful award ceremony, held at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, also, witnessed the recognition of Globacom’s Chairman, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., as the Entrepreneur of the Decade.
According to the publisher of Thisday Newspapers, Prince Nduka Obaigbena, Globacom was voted for the award by poll respondents for its role in growing the Nigerian economy since its emergence over 15 years ago.
Prince Obaigbena noted that the telecom company had over the years established itself as an innovation leader in the telecom sector, introducing a long string of industry-impacting products and services.
He also noted that Globacom Chairman was recognised for his dogged commitment to growing the economy through relentless investments in key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Globacom’s Executive Vice Chairman, Mrs. Bella Disu received the award on behalf of Globacom, while Miss Folasade Michael-Adenuga, Group Executive Director of Globacom, received the plaque of Entrepreneur of the Decade on behalf of her father.
Mrs. Disu said: “Being affirmed so strongly by those we serve is indeed the highest honour. I thank all our millions of subscribers for their continued support.”
The awards guests were entertained by two renowned international artistes, Nigerian Asa and American John Legend.
A househelp identified as Uche Soroibe from Ideato in Imo State has been caught on his third attempt of poisoning his boss and his family members with an insecticide ‘Sniper’.
Uche who was paraded alongside the poisonous chemical he tried killing the family with, initially claimed he wanted to commit suicide with it.
Upon being pressed further by those interrogating him, Uche confessed to attempting to kill his boss’ family after losing N750k which belonged to the man that employed him to fraudsters.
He claimed the fraudsters he met at a bus stop in Oyingbo area of Lagos state, promised to refund the money after using it for an undisclosed business. Uche said he only met the fraudsters once after which they gave him an account number to pay in the money.
Uche said because he lost the money, he decided to kill his boss’ family with the insecticide. On his first attempt, nothing happened to the family. On his second attempt, his boss’ wife found out and poured away the soup. He was however caught on his third attempt.

Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson, in a new interview revealed how he was told to kiss Mercy Aigbe in a movie, despite being an up-coming actor.

A Nigerian lady on Twitter who goes by the name Amarachi Osuji has narrated a moving story of how she dumped medicine for engineering.
Making the academic change did not come easily as she dithered for three years before she gathered the strength for the pivotal step. The need to switch to engineering started after her first semester in Hungary. She pushed on for 5 semesters. By that time, the scholarship she was on was dealt a blow by government negligence.
After bouts with depression of “what-comes-after”, she called home and told them about wanting to leave medicine. Her family did not take it lightly as she got many calls from them trying to dissuade her.
Amarachi said she had to think about her decision before she switched course.

A Nigerian man has cried out for help in a viral video after allegedly being held hostage by some unidentified persons in Pakistan.
The man who was spotted being flogged in the video, disclosed that he is being held against his will over the refusal of one Paul a.k.a Onye Eze to pay for goods delivered to him.
The Nigerian man further revealed that his oppressors threatened to cut off some of his body parts in a bid to force Onye Eze to pay for the goods.
At the end of his short video, he promised never to forgive Onye Eze if he is killed in the foreign country.

Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus says she pray Nigeria becomes as fine as Dubai.
Speaking via her official Instagram page on Friday, 24th January, Badmus further gushed about the middle East country by exclaiming; ‘Dubai is fine shaaa.’
The screen diva and friend, Funke Akindele have been holidaying in Dubai in the last few weeks.

A teenage boy who was once dubbed “the world’s fattest boy” has made huge progress in his weight loss journey.
Arya Permana, 13, who hails from West Java in Indonesia, has lost a whopping 17 stone and the transformation is highly impressive.
This comes four years after he made went viral for weighing an eye-watering 30 stone.
Arya, who weighed a normal 7lb when he was born, before his weight exploded by the age of two, was able to achieve this major weight loss under the guidance of Indonesian bodybuilder Ade Rai and a team of health professionals. Arya’s father Ade Somantri explained how the transformation was because of a simple three-step routine.

“His sleep is sound and there is no more worry about respiratory problems.He can also walk and play without complaining of shortness of breath.”
Ade said: “He cannot eat a lot after the surgery and he can only eat four tablespoons of rice and drinks diet milk — if he eats extra, he throws up.
“He is not allowed to eat sugar and carbs — we are very happy that he is energetic and can play football and badminton.
“He walks and runs for two kilometres (1.25 miles) a day but he might require another round of surgery this year.”

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has been accused of stealing a photo of the eagle in its logo, after it took to Twitter to counter Transparency International on rating Nigeria 146 out of 180 corrupt countries in the world.
Recall that in Transparency International’s latest report, Nigeria ranks 146 out of the 180 countries with a score of 26 and it was also ranked as the 16-most corrupt nation in Africa. in 2019, the West African nation ranked 144 out of 180 nations with a CPI score of 27.

A young man idenrtified as Maxwell Enudi Lucky has allegedly taken his life.
Late Maxwell, from Delta State, a Agraduate of Zoology and Environmental Biology (ZEB), University of Calabar, committed suicide on Thursday, by drinking the poisonous pesticide – Sniper.
He graduated December 2019 and was set to defend his project on February 2020.
Maxwell’s friend, Ogunsanya Yemisi, described late Maxwell’s as ‘selfish’ because he never said that he was depressed when she saw him last week.
“Maxwell I won’t say rest in peace am super disappointed in you taking your life was never the option. Was sniper a medicine to joy? U broke my heart U left with an unanswered question why I know I can be busy why not disturb me I saw u last week u never said u were depressed. Maxwell enudi why this is selfish of u.
