A Nigerian Muslim Lady has narrated an unpleasant experience she had with a Christian lady who she accommodated recently in her home in Abuja.
The Muslim lady said she wasn’t friends with the said christian lady and only accommodated her because their mutual friend asked her to.
However, the christian lady complained about her mode of dressing (hijab) and spoke about how much she hated northerners.
Read her post below ;
On Sunday my friend who’s serving in Enugu called me to assist her friend who was coming to Abuja for an appointment to stay with me for 4 days which I agreed. The least of my problem at this point was her tribe or what religion she practices, I prepared my house to host her.
On Monday she arrived and took a drop from Utako to my estate at life camp. When I came out to pick her I noticed her surprise when she saw her host with a long hijab but I didnt care. We both came in and I changed to follow her to the Ministry of education where she had to be.
In the evening when we came back I served her food which she found really difficult to eat for reasons best known to her. Later on I noticed she was afraid that I was a Muslim. She started complaining about my dressing and asking me not to follow her out with my hair covered.
She started asking if I had wigs and all of that which I didnt retaliate I just smiled. In my own house, she made mockery of my religion, said really nasty things and even spelled out how much she hates northerners. I didnt know how to react but I didnt want to create a bad image
On Tuesday we both went to the ministry of education where she left me sitting and started conversing with her fellow Igbo’s, I sat waiting while she was gisting and going about from 11am till 4pm then I decided to leave for the mosque where I waited for her till she was done.
I felt bad because I left my job to make sure she went to get everything done as soon as possible but she showed no appreciation. She showed no remorse for leaving me for hours she laughed and acted like she do nothing wrong. She didnt want people to see her with a Muslim.
She even prays loudly in my house but I don’t complain, I did everything a good host should do but all she did was insult me cos she feels she is better than me off which she is not. For the 4 days she spent in my house I was always smiling. For every time she insulted my religion and made mockery of it, I was mute so at the end of the day she would judge herself if she really has a conscience and next time I won’t be a host to avoid anyone stepping on my tiny nerves. I’m not against any religion or tribe but I feel we should all know Better than to disregard people’s beliefs and ways of life. She finally left yesterday morning and I wish her well in her discriminating practices. She only showed me how patient and tolerant I am which is what my religion teaches me.
I bear no grudges

Nigerian professor of political economy and management expert, Pat Utomi has said that most citizens have lost hope and given up on Nigeria.
He called for an urgent national dialogue on the political future of Nigeria and on security challenges.
The former presidential candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) spoke on Saturday in Abuja at a citizens’ conversation on the state of the nation, NAN reports.
Utomi noted that it was high time concerted efforts were made to fix the numerous problems in the country.
He said: “As I go around Nigeria, I have found out that most Nigerians are in despair; they have even given up on their country and that is a very dangerous thing to happen to any people.
“The question, therefore, is: why are Nigerians so distrust; why are they so unhappy; why are our leaders trading abuses and insults every day on one another.”
Utomi lamented that Nigerians were not having a national public conversation which should focus on the common good of the populace.
“Some think the Nigerian state is hijacked and privatised; there is a sense in which people think elections are meaningless in Nigeria and there is a sense in which there is a level of distrust.
“We need to engage all critical stakeholders’ and groups, but we are starting from the group I like to refer to as complacent middle,” Utomi said.
Chief Ralph Nwosu, National Chairman of ADC, urged political parties to evolve new ways of engaging the people and educating them on how to make Nigeria better.
Prof. Peter Nwangwu, a scientist and former presidential candidate, insisted that the Africa’s most populous nation needed to be restructured.
“We need a Nigeria where there will be total mindset re engineering. There is the need to clean up the rubbish from bottom to top, to have a society that is equitable”, he added
Busty controversial actress, Cossy Ojiakor has revealed that she used to pimp ladies to pastors in the past.
Speaking in an interview with Saturday beats, she further revealed that a reverend father once fondled her breast and gave her money.
He concluded by asking her fans not to think they have sinned too much and won’t make heaven.
Her words:
“Don’t think that your sin is too much and you won’t make heaven. Nobody is perfect. Pastors lead extravagant lives and even travel abroad to ‘carry’ girls. I used to supply ladies to one of those pastors. As a matter of fact, I didn’t know he was a ‘man of God’. His church is very big and he has a large congregation. Also, a reverend father once pressed my breasts and gave me church money. “People should know that God is always willing to forgive because nobody is holy. I’m an evangelist and I’m true to myself. If one is true to oneself, it means that one would be saved by grace. I am an Anglican person. I go to church in my hometown.”

The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in the Abuja Judicial Division has invited popular Nollywood Celebrity, Actress Tonto Dikeh, to appear in court over a suit filed by Her Ex-Husband, Dr. Olakunle Oladunni Churchill and his organization, Big Church Foundation, a subsidiary of Big Church Groups.
The case against Actress Tonto in the high court with Suit No CU/5801/19 issued a 14 days notification with strict implications on the Actress’s failure to appear before the court, as the court may proceed therein with judgment even in the absence of the Defendant(Tonto Dikeh).
According to the case filed by the 1st and 2nd Claimant(Dr. Churchill and Big Church Foundation respectively), ex husband of the defendant, it maintained claims that the series of malicious and fallacious allegations, assertions and accusations through media campaigns and publications by Tonto Dikeh and her charity organization was defamatory, baseless and sponsored to tarnish and damage the image and political ambition of the claimant, as he might have told her his intentions to run for House of Representative in his constituency.
The suit identified several declarations with substantial proofs ascertaining illegalities in the action and approaches adopted by the Claimant’s Ex-Wife. The claims includes the declaration that the Defendant’s Interview and/on series of false allegations on domestic violence, infidelity, false allegations of fraud, sexual disease, money ritual, homosexuality/bisexuality, and mockery of the 7000 Persons empowerment project by Big Church Foundation, describing the humanitarian intervention as fake.
According to the suit, Tonto Dikeh’s interviews were aired, published and sponsored via broadcast channels, online media platforms, YouTube handles, notable print publications and even on her large 4million follower’s page on Instagram, with a view to impugn the character, standings in life and goodwill of her Ex-husband, Dr. Olakunle Churchill. The claim also requires the sum of 500million naira as general damages from Actress Tonto Dikeh(the defendant), for the libelous, slanderous and false allegations published against the Claimants.
In one of her defamatory assertions Tonto noted the Father of her Ex-Husband was a Gardener, but sources have revealed that her claims was just a mere fabrication, as the father of her Ex-Husband was instead a high leveled personality, recognized and engaged with several international leaders, with gainful impacts in areas of humanitarian impacts and diplomatic connections.
The defendant’s action in appearance would be to propose and provide reliable evidence to sustain the accusations, insults, defamation, slander and allegations supported, published and promoted on several mass media networks and platforms, including television, YouTube channels, social media handles and the online media channels.
Tonto Dikeh has also been compelled by the suit file against her to publish or cause to be published an apology to her Ex-Husband, and a retraction of the publications on her Instagram pages, YouTube Channel, 3major Nigeria Newspapers and their online sites, as well as a file affidavit of compliance of same within 14days of the delivery of judgment. Also an order of perpetual injunction may also be issued restraining the defendant, privies, agents etc from publishing or cause to be published any further defamatory words against the claimant.
She would also have to refrain from any form of blackmail or extortion of her ex-husband in the name of upkeep and education for their son. However, she has continued to refuse the father access to the child, even when the court had earlier granted him access to his son.
The claim also demanded a sum of 10million naira as cost the action of defendant.
Actress Tonto Dikeh is still enmeshed with the legal implications of her actions during the Dubai Concert of November 2019 and now she has to face another high court suit to defend some of her unverified assertions and claims on the social media.

The deputy governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, says the state has begun enjoying the benefits of the Okada ban as the rate of motorcycle accidents in the state has dropped from 28 to 7.
Speaking on Channels TV, Obafemi said Okadas have become an avenue for pertrting crime. He reiterated the state government’s position that the ban is laegely for security and safety reasons. In his words
”The truth of the matter is that Okada is becoming an avenue to perpetrating crimes. And we cannot wait until a major disaster happens. We knew what happened in Kano State some years back when the Emir of Kano was attacked through this means of transportation. Our lives are important.
Some of them had knives and guns. If you are interested in riding Okada, why do you need a knife or a gun? Not every one of them but those who had the weapons on were arrested. The ban is majorly about security and safety.
Data from the 27 General Hospitals in the state indicated that on the average monthly, we record 28 deaths related to Okada. So, we cannot as a government let this continue. In the last two to three weeks since the ban, the accident rates have reduced from 28 to 7. So, if we saved 21 lives, is that not important? So, this is about saving lives.
We did not endorse Okada ride-hailing operators in Lagos. Anybody can come on a courtesy visit. They actually came on a courtesy visit and we told them clearly that there is a law regulating Okada operations in Lagos. But that is not an endorsement; it was just a courtesy visit.
The most populous areas of the state are not even affected. The most populous areas are Alimosho Local Government followed by Mushin, followed by Kosofe, followed by Oshodi/Isolo. So, people can do their businesses. All we are saying is, don’t ply the major roads, the bridges because it is not just safe and it is also a way for criminals to act.
Okada riding is not a job that most people want their children to do but the economic situation force them to do it and now we are saying, let’s give them better alternatives; let us get people trained to do welding and other vocations.
When we were building the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, the contractor told us they could not find welders in the country. They wanted to go outside to bring in welders. We delayed the project for six months. The then governor, Babatunde Fashola, said that was never going to happen. And we trained the welders who did that project.
The truth of the matter is that the Okada and Keke business is having an impact on our economy. As it is now, we don’t have artisans again in Nigeria. You want to lay tiles and people have to come from neighbouring countries. Is that the future that we want? Lagos has 17 of those skilled centres and technical schools. We know that it is not everyone that will go to the university but let us train our kids so that they can earn well using their hands. And Okada is taking that away from our children.”

He belongs to another woman so please it had better be worth it. Don’t go and collect chocolate and flowers as gifts from a married man oh.
“If you do, your head needs to be examined. If you are dating a married man, chop his money, collect his money because that man is already married. So stupid girls will be dating a married man will be doing love…sis he is not yours. He belongs to another woman so use your brain”

And those of us who have had the joy and privilege of being parents, and taking our kids to ball games, and rooting for our children, and then seeing our dreams and hopes passed on to them … nothing is more heartbreaking.”
The young girl who was spotted reading at night using the light from an ATM has granted an interview with PETER DADA of Punch.
Identified as Dele Rasheed, a primary one pupil of The Hope Of Glor Academy, Ondo Town, Dele was recently pictured doing her homework by the light of an ATM Gallery of a Bank Branch at the Yaba area of Ondo, around 10 PM.
This was because there was no power at Little Dele’s house. The picture went viral and the bank is believed to have taken interest in her. She tells PETER DADA about herself
How old are you?
I am six years old. I am in primary one. I live with my grandmother.
You were recently photographed doing your homework by the light of an ATM gallery…
I went there to do my homework because there was no electricity in our house.
Did your parent not have a generator at home?
No, we don’t have.
Is that what you normally do when there is a blackout at home?
Yes, when there is no power supply.
Who asked you to be going there?
Nobody did.
Did you see anybody there the last time you went there?
Yes, I saw a man there.
What did man tell you?
He asked for my name and I told him.
Are you not afraid of going there in the night to read?
I am not afraid.
What do you want to become in the future?
I will like to become a nurse because of their white uniform. I like them because they take care of people that are sick.
So you like treating people…
Yes.
I trusted God to protect Dele by ATM gallery at night – Grandmother
Forty-seven-year-old Mrs Samuel Veronica is Dele’ s grandmother. She tells PETER DADA about her grandchild.
Grandmother.
What do you do for a living?
I am a housewife. Dele is my granddaughter.
Where is her mother?
She is in Lagos.
Why is she not staying with her mother?
When our aunt died sometime ago and she (her mother) came to Ondo with her (Dele). So when they wanted to leave for Lagos, Dele said she was not going with them again, that she would stay with me. Since then, she has been staying with me. I enrolled her in a private school and have been taking care of her. She has been staying with me for about four years.
Where is her father?
He is also in Lagos State with her mother.
How would describe Dele?
She is very committed to her studies; whenever she is given an assignment in school, she will not rest until she finishes it. Even when you ask her to come and eat, she will not eat until she finishes her homework. She would say her teacher would beat her if she does not do her homework and if anybody offers to assist her in doing the homework, she would refuse.
Did you tell her to be going to the ATM gallery to work?
No, I was not the one. Oftentimes I discourage her from going there but she insists on going there to do her homework, especially when there is a blackout. On the night she was seen there, I didn’t want her to go but she insisted on going.
How far is the bank’s ATM gallery to your house?
It is beside our house; it is the building beside our house.
Don’t you think it’s dangerous for a child of that age to be outside at that time?
Initially, I didn’t want her to be going there. The first time she went, there was a blackout and she told me she wanted to go there, and I said no. I told her to use the torchlight on my phone, but she refused. She said she would not see the homework clearly. And we don’t have a generator.
How long has she been going there to do her homework?
That was her third time. When there is a blackout, she would go and do her home work there.
Were you not afraid that she could be attacked?
Well, I handed her over to God and I believed nothing would happen to her.
There are reports that the bank promised to give her N1m and a scholarship; has the bank contacted you or any member of the family yet?
Yes, even the manager (at Ondo branch) asked me to come to the bank and I have gone there. They gave me a form to fill; they also asked for my BVN and I have given it to them.
What was in the form you filled?
I don’t know, I don’t understand it but I believe our lawyer will understand it. I also believe it is about the promises they made.
Aside from the bank, has any other organisation offered to assist her?
Yes, MTN officials also came and they promised to install solar panels here that will give us electricity. Also, a solar company presented her with a solar lamp in her school. They also gave some pupils in the school small solar lamps. Some other people have been promising to assist her.
What is your reaction to the offers?
I am very happy, I don’t know what to say other than to continue to say thank you to the bank and other benefactors.

He went on to beg the driver not to hand him over to the police… meanwhile, I was very scared that moment, the driver just said one thing that’d make him not hand him over to the police is if he also got his share of the money, that wasn’t what I was expecting, he said nobody came to Lagos to die poor, then he looked back and asked me if I was interested so I get my share…. me jejely told them NO SIR, please drop me this is my bustop ooo
