Reality star, Nina Ivy launches hair store in Lekki

Reality star and fashion entrepreneur, Nina Ivy has taken to instagram to announce the launching of her new shopping store in Lekki Phase 1.

The fashionista, while reminiscing over her life, revealed how she grew from being a mere undergraduate, to the CEO of a fashion empire.

The 23-year-old fashion entrepreneur who recently got a store in Lekki, was filled with gratitude to God and her fans for helping her brand grow.

She spoke about her journey towards finding her voice and purpose, describing her life as a testimony.

She wrote:

“When I look back on how I started from being an undergraduate with zero direction to getting into the big brother house to facing trials and tribulations to graduating and to finding my VOICE and PURPOSE all I can say is thank you lord.

“My life is a testimony of Gods grace that he is alive. I remember setting up @nina_empire_ with zero funds , I never knew in my wildest dreams I will be able to have my physical store with the help of my FANMILY !! Today I am grateful for all God has done for me.”

Emeka Ike welcomed his daughter, Oluchi with his curvy South African lover, Yolanda Pfeiffer at an hospital in Germany in October.

The actor’s wife shared a new photo of her with the caption;

“Oluchi what’s good? ……she’s wide awake”

In the photo, Yolanda could be seen carrying Oluchi on her back (the Nigerian way).

The baby is said to be the South African former model’s fourth child and the third for Ike.

Butressing his point, Yul took the fan down memory lane to the early days of his career, and how the mention of his dad’s name made people envious of him.

Kola Popoola, the press secretary to Shina Peller who is currently being detained by Lagos Police has issued a statement on his boss’ arrest.

According to him,

The Nigeria Police Force has unjustly held hostage a member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Hon. Shina Peller at Moroko Police station, Lagos.

Hon. Shina Peller was at Moroko police station to bail some of Club Quilox’s customers who had allegedly parked on the road during a show at the Club.

Prior to the kickoff of the 36hours non-stop show which usually holds every year at Quilox, Hon. Peller had informed the concerned Lagos traffic authorities to avoid unnecessary traffic gridlock.

On getting to Moroko police station, the police started harassing Hon. Peller and even went as far as seizing all his phones for no reason.

The continuous harassment and unjust detain of a member of House of Representatives, Hon. Peller, by the police calls for urgent attention of the media, and the Inspector General of Police.

Police arrest House of Reps member, Shina Peller amid Quilox shutdown

The Nigeria Police Force has detained a member of the House of Representatives member, Hon. Shina Peller, at Moroko Police station, Lagos.

This is coming hours after the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency sealed his nightclub, Quilox, over Noise Pollution and Traffic Congestion in V.I.

The lawmaker was at Moroko police station to bail some of Club Quilox’s customers who had allegedly parked on the road during a show at the Club.

However, on getting to Moroko police station, the police detained Hon. Peller and seized all his phones.

Peller’s friend and colleague, Akin Alabi confirmed the detainment via a tweet he shared this afternoon.

Rapper, Ycee has raised alarm over the alarming rate at which people consume hard drugs in Lagos, especially cocaine.

The rapper took to his Twitter page some hours ago to express his shock over the matter saying, the way cocaine is now being seen by some people in Lagos as a worthy substance to use in entertaining a person is really scary.

“The way people offer you cocaine Lagos now, you’d think it’s biscuit,” he wrote.

Ycee’s talk about this shows the consumption of cocaine in Lagos is unfortunately growing at a serious pace. Judging from the perspective of it not being a fit enough substance for consumption under the Nigerian law, the government should make a quick effort to exterminating it’s potential dominance so it wouldn’t wreak havoc on the society.

A police officer in Kaduna state, Sgt Yusuf Bello, reportedly beat his wife and left her with a black eye after they had an argument over N500.

The Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development in Kaduna State, Hafsat Bala, shared the story online this evening, pledging that she will ensure that the officer is brought to book.
