A Man identified as Terry Ikechukwu Iheme, has been arrested for allegedly sleeping with his two underage daughters in Ikodoru, Lagos.
According to P.M.EXPRESS, the despicable act was reported at Owutu Police Division and the suspect, who is a driver, was arrested in Church on Sunday.

The 40-year-old was subsequently charged before the Ikorodu Magistrate Court 1, Ita Elewa, for defilement and the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. F.A. Afeez, ordered the defendant to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.
The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice. The matter was adjourned till 19th February, 2020.
A landlord was almost at the point of weeping when he saw the state his tenants left his house in.
The landlord identified as Daniel Needes, from Bridgend in Wales, had rented the house out for two years. He said the house had been in “immaculate condition” after it was renovated by his late father and had been kitted out with new appliances.
However, less than two years later, the tenants suddenly moved out without notice. When the landlord went to the house, he was shocked to discover the property had been completely trashed.
In his words ;
“I went down to the house as soon as I could and that’s when I saw what they’d done.
“To be honest, when I first saw it I nearly cried. They had completely trashed it.”
He claims the family didn’t even tell him they were moving out. He says he only found out they had left when he received a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions – which paid the rent directly to Daniel – saying payments had stopped because he was no longer their landlord.
In the kitchen, the tenants had left so many plastic carrier bags, crushed boxes, binbags and empty food containers. The trash completely covered the kitchen floor.
Dirty things were piled high in the sink, a greasy fryer was left on the side and a chest freezer half-filled with defrosted food was left wide open.
Daniel said the family had left rotting food in the kitchen, bathroom and in bags that were strewn throughout the house as well as prescription medication including tablets and inhalers.
“The house stank. They had turned it into a rubbish tip,” he said.
Shocking photos show that wallpaper had been torn down, walls had been left with holes in them, doors were broken and the once-cream carpet was covered with dirt and black stains.
The tenants had also left behind heaps of unwanted belongings such as clothes and toys throughout the house.
He said the tenant’s behaviour has taught him a lesson and he’ll be more careful when renting the house in future.
He said: “I’ll get the house back into a good condition and then rent it out, this hasn’t put me off. But I’m definitely going to be more cautious in the future.”

A Young South African girl identified as Mandisa Makubu, took to her social media platform to narrate how she’s been forced to take HIV medications because she was raped on the first day of 2020.
Mandisa’s post has received sympathetic messages from other social media users who couldn’t fathom the wickedness of the man who took her by force and possibly infected her.

A maid has been arrested by Singapore police after she was accused by her employed of scalding her toddler’s hand, by dipping it repeatedly into a boiling pot.
The mother, Amy Low Mei Lian, last night posted the clip online with her allegations.
Amy says the CCTV footage was filmed in her Kitchen in Buangkok, while she and her husband were at work. She also posted photos of what appears to be the toddler’s scalded hands.
“I felt something was amissed [sic] and I decided to check the CCTV footage at home while waiting for the maid to be picked up. And what I saw was horrifying. The maid, she did it on purpose! It was never an accident! She took my daughter’s hand and dipped her hand inside a boiling pot. I was shaking throughout and made a police report immediately,” Low wrote.

“I never thought this would happened to my daughter. Because of commitments in life, both my husband and I have to work, hence we decided to hire a maid, to look after our 16 month old girl. Little did we know, this was the beginning of our nightmare.
It happened on 14 Jan, 5.13pm. The maid was at home with both my daughters, 8year old and 16month old. At 5.20pm, my 8year old called my husband up and told him that my 16month old had suffered a burnt. We were shocked and rushed our girl to a nearby clinic, but the doctor thought it was too serious a burn wound hence referred us to hospital a&e instead.
Since the maid started working, we had told her that her priority is always to look after our girl and never to bring our girl into the kitchen. We can always take away dinner and there is no need for her to cook. I questioned the maid and she explained that it was an accident.
She was carrying my girl while cooking in the kitchen and that my daughter ‘touched’ the pot by herself and the maid didn’t expect it to happen as it happened too quick. We chose to believe her even when the doctor at a&e had some doubts in the cause of the burnt wounds.
Next day morning, the maid packed all her belongings and insisted to go back to the agency. I kept assuring her that we never blamed her, as it was just an accident, she can still stay on and work for us. But she was very insistent hence I called the agency up.
The agent told me that he would get someone to pick up the maid, and take it as a transfer case (to transfer the maid out to another family), so that the 6 months loan that I have paid for the maid could be returned to me. I chose to believe and listen to the agent. I felt something was amissed and I decided to check the CCTV footage at home while waiting for the maid to be picked up. And what I saw was horrifying.

While waiting for the police, I notified the agent of what had happened. The agent started to be agitated and insisted that we should return the maid to agency and end it just like that.
Before the police arrived, I questioned the maid why did she do that to my daughter. She said she wants to go home, she said that her friends taught her to do it, so that she could go home.
And when I asked if the agent was also involved, she said yes – he said that I could go home if I do this! How horrifying! (The maid came to work for us for about a month and she did mention that she wants to go home 2 weeks ago, but all was settled after the agent met and spoke it her. Did the agent teach her to do that when they met?)
During this period, the agent kept threatening and harassing me. Accused me that I am a bad employer – that I abuse the maid hence the maid wanted to leave, which I never do.
The agent’s behavior had gone way over the boundaries hence I made another police report, as I was really frightened that the agent would do something to my family.
But the outcome was disappointing, the police mentioned that unless the agent harassed us again, else they won’t be taking any further action.
I always thought that the police is for the people, this is Singapore, this is supposed to be one of the safest countries in the world, but no, the police can’t do much unless something fatal happened?
I chose to believe in the maid, and she hurt my daughter.
I chose to believe in the agent, and he could be the one who is behind all these.
I chose to have faith in the law and the police force but all I get is to wait for something else to happen before they could really take any further action.
There is nothing I want more than justice for my daughter, is that too much?
I won’t be disclosing further information of the agency. But I plea that all of you to keep a close eye on your domestic helpers”

A new executive order pending the signature of US President, Donald Trump, will see Nigeria and 6 other countries being added to a travel ban list.
Though the list is not final and might change, however citizens of Belarus, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania will face bans on some visa categories if the executive order is signed.
In an interview with Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump disclosed that he is considering adding some countries to the travel ban list but he wasn’t specific about the affected countries.
Commenting on the travel ban list, a senior official in the Trump administration said countries that failed to comply with security requirements, including biometrics, information-sharing and counter-terrorism measures, faced the risk of limitations on U.S. immigration.

One of the RCCG house fellowship centres in Abule Egba was untouched by the fire that destroyed houses and properties in the area and Pastor Adeboye reacted to it. His reaction elicited a response from OAP Daddy Freeze.
Pastor Adeboye responded to the RCCG house untouched by the fire by quoting a section of the bible about the plague passing over the houses of the Israelites because of the blood of the lamb on their doors. The Israelites were spared but the Egyptians were not.

The Director of Public Health, Enugu State, Dr Boniface Okolo, has cautioned Nigerians against the consumption of soaked garri to avoid contacting Lassa fever.
Okolo, who gave the warning in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Saturday in Enugu, said the rats that caused the disease were mostly in contact with Nigerian most popular staple food ‘garri,’ a cassava product.
He added that it was necessary to discourage consumption of soaked garri since it did not require boiled water. Okolo noted that boiled water could go a long way to kill bacteria caused by pest or rodents in garri.
“It is better that the cassava flakes called garri is used for ‘eba’, because of the use of hot water.
“We in the state health ministry are waging total war against rodents through sensitisation, that is what we are doing to ensure we do not have victim of Lassa fever in the state.
“We are also sensitising the public to ensure that their fruits and raw vegetables are properly washed if they must be consumed them raw and cook to the appropriate temperature. “The best practices for food storage should be encouraged to prevent epidemic.
”We should always make sure that we use air-tight clean plastic containers to preserve our foodstuff to avoid Lassa fever and other diseases,” he said.

He should lay down the marker on how these dreams of his, will be actualized. If he didn't or can't, someone should tell him that "I have a dream" that's he's daydreaming.
You have a dream that we should hope, hope, hope, hope, and keep hope alive? When Martin Luther king Jr used those words, he was not speaking for fun, or to get applauds, it ws a dream he died for. Making mockery of those lofty words just makes one sick. Go and work.
A video circulating online captures media personality, Toke Makinwa making comments about her ex-husband, Maje Ayida.
In the video, the media personality was sitting on an armchair, having a conversation with her family when she suddenly mentioned his name and said their relationship should have never happened.
On 15 January 2014, Makinwa and Ayida consummated their relationship in a private ceremony after eight years of being together.
However, things went down south after the media personality filed for divorce in March 2016 on grounds that her husband committed adultery.
The duo have also moved on from their rocky marriage as the estranged husband of celebrity has proposed to an unidentified woman while the media personality is living her best life.
A prisoner has been sentenced to 12 years in jail for asking a guard to charge his mobile phone.
Willie Nash, 39, was jailed for 12 years in August 2018, with his case coming to light earlier this month after an unsuccessful appeal.
Nash was booked into Newton County Jail in Mississippi in early 2018. While there he gave a guard his cellphone to charge for him but that got him into trouble because it’s a contraband device.
The jail worker took the phone to a sheriff’s deputy to report the incident.
Nash initially denied the phone was his when he realized he was in trouble, but eventually admitted he owned it, and shared the passcode needed to unlock it. He told his jailers he had been using it to text his wife to tell her that he was in prison.
Mississippi state law says inmates in jails and prisons are banned from owning a cellphone, with sentences for doing so ranging from three years to 15 years.
The judge who sentenced Nash told him he was lucky he didn’t get the maximum sentence, given his previous convictions for burglary.
Nash launched an appeal against the prison term, calling his sentence “grossly disproportionate to the crime.”
His lawyers said it violated the US Constitution’s Eighth Amendment, which bans cruel and unusual punishments, NBC News reported. But Nash’s appeal was dismissed by the Mississippi Supreme Court, with Justice James D Maxwell highlighting that the sentence fell within the statutory range.
Another Justice, Leslie D King, agreed that while the sentence was sound, the case itself demonstrated “a failure of our criminal justice system on multiple levels.”
Nash is scheduled to be freed from prison in February 2029.
