Suspected fraudster, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly referred to as Mompha, has regained his precious freedom after meeting his bail conditions.

Mompha who had been remanded in prison custody, after being arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on 14 counts bordering on fraud, money laundering, and running a foreign exchange business without the authorisation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), was on Friday, November 29, 2019, admitted to bail with one surety who must be a landed property owner.
Having perfected those conditions, Mompha is now a free man (for now).

The 21-year-old Chicago rapper suffered a seizure after arriving Chicago’s Midway airport and was bleeding from the mouth when paramedics got to the scene.
Just a day after his shocking death, American tabliod, TMZ has now released more details and it was claimed he popped pills on the private Jet he flew in, and 70 lbs. Marijuana were on board the flight.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the FBI confiscated the huge stash of weed from several suitcases that were on board the flight. We obtained this photo of the marijuana and luggage in the private jet terminal at Midway.
According to law enforcement, several members of Juice’s team aboard the flight — which landed around 1 AM Sunday — told them Juice had taken “several unknown pills” prior to the seizures which led to him getting rushed to a hospital.

Veteran actor, Segun Arinze was captured on camera, chasing his ‘househelp’, who he allegedly brutalized for using his car.
According Twitter user, @CloakedAdonis who shared the video, the boy was spotted, down on the floor with bruises, crying as Segun Arinze who was reportedly ready to kill him, kept shouting on top of his voice, saying that the boy removed his bulglary proof and used his car without informing him.

The Chief of Civil Affairs in the Nigerian Army, Major-General Usman Mohammed, has said that the use of phones when approaching a military checkpoint is wrong.

The Nigerian senate has said that its convicted Chief Whip former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu will received his full salaries and allowances in prison until the Supreme Court backs the judgement issued by the Federal High Court days ago.
Nigerian Senate’s spokesperson, Godiya Akwashiki told Premium Times that though the Senator representing Abia North won’t be performing any legislative function from prison, he is still a sitting senator.

“He is still a senator. This is the first court. The matter is going to Supreme Court so, he still has the opportunity to appeal up to the Supreme Court level.
“Of course they will pay him. Because he is a sitting senator just like I said…if you file for appeal, you are still serving and so they will pay you.
“All his entitlements will be paid. There is no cause for alarm. In fact, even if Court of Appeal says they have upheld the judgement of the lower court, he still has the right to go to Supreme Court. So once the Supreme Court says, yes, the judgement is okay, then that’s the final.”

Livespot X Festival which was expected to be a ‘turn up event’ rather ended on a bad note as fans who had paid for tickets to witness the performance of American artiste, Cardi B were left stranded at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has poked fun at popular Ghanaians who thronged Kempinski Hotel, Sunday, to meet Cardi B for an interactive session.

Cardi B to prove to Ghanaians that she didn’t intentionally snub them, went on Instagram Live while in the toilet, to show that she has been purging.
Recall, a list of Ghanaian celebrities turned up at Kempinski hotel where the meet and greet with Cardi B was supposed to hold, but the rapper didn’t show up.
Many Ghanaians, including a list of celebrities took to social media to call her out.
She then explained that something she ate has been purging her. Her reason for not showing up.
To further prove that she’s been to and fro the toilet, she went on Instagram Live to put to shame those Ghanaians that tagged her a liar.
According to Punch Metro, some pupils of the Zappa Secondary School in Asaba, the Delta State capital, have launched an attack on a male teacher after allegedly taking hard drugs.
It was gathered that the pupils, who completed their first term examination on Friday, attacked the teacher while he was on his way home.
The teacher, according to an eyewitness, was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, for treatment as he suffered a broken forehead.
It was learnt that cops from the ‘A’ Division Police Station were immediately alerted and they arrested some pupils on the school premises.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, were not successful as several calls put across to her mobile phone were not answered.
An activist, Mr Victor Ojei, who rushed to the scene of the incident, said hard drugs had caused a lot of damage to some secondary pupils in the state.
He stated, “The teacher was attacked and rushed to the FMC for treatment. Hard drugs are now being consumed by secondary school pupils in Delta State.
“These kids now take all forms of hard drugs and get intoxicated and start fighting their teachers. They broke his forehead.”
Vice-Chancellor of Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Prof. Ademola Tayo, has said the institution expelled the female student in the sex video that went viral to protect what the institution stands for.
However, he said the institution was still in contact with the girl’s family and may take her back if she was repentant.
Last month a video surfaced of two students making out in what was later said to be a hospital ward. The boy was said to have been expelled before the incident while the girl was expelled as a result of the video.

“We had to take that decision in order to protect this institution and to protect its alumni. Because anywhere they go they say the University where they are all prostitutes. We had to make a statement to show discipline.
“But I need to tell you that I signed it off with tears in my eyes as a responsible father. But we are not leaving this young lady to her doom. The pastor called me last week and I prayed with the family. The father called me and said pray with your daughter. I said she is still my daughter. Sometimes discipline is therapeutic. It is when you go that you realise that this is not right what I have done and then you go back to yourself.
“I look forward to a time when this young girl would graduate and be celebrated. It may not be here; I don’t know where but we are not throwing the baby out with the bath water.”
Tayo described the act by the girl giving the boy a blow job as abnormal.

The Mexican has such fast hand, massive power and a solid chin, but was unable to get passed Joshua’s jab as the taller fighter kept him at bay during their rematch.
AJ stayed at arms length for the 12 rounds and picked off his punches, with the Mexican getting more frustrated as the seconds ticked by.
After the fight Ruiz called for a third fight in the ring, and later apologised to his fans for not training hard enough and not taking the bout seriously.
Ruiz said, in a social media post, ‘All my supporters, all my fans, all my loved ones, I’m sorry I let you down.
‘I know we didn’t get this victory but that was a learning experience. I know I should have trained harder, I know I should have taken it more serious but he won, no excuses.
‘Best believe I’m going to come back stronger. Thank you everybody.’
