Nollywood actress, Chioma Akpotha has unveiled a new restaurant to celebrate the 70th posthumous birthday of her late mum, Grace Egoyibo Chukwuka.
The actress shared throwback photos of her late mom and recounted how her mother used proceeds from a restaurant she ran and some other side hustles to raise she and her siblings.

The Management of the Lagos State University, Ojo, has made a call for caution from its students following the report of the alleged murder of one of its final-year-female students, Favour Daley-Oladele.
The university’s spokesman, Mr. Ademola Adekoya, said on Sunday in Lagos that the LASU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, made the appeal.
Adekoya quoted the vice chancellor as saying, “I received with great shock the news of the death of Miss Favour Daley-Oladele, a final year student of the Department of Theatre Arts at the university.
“Based on the Police preliminary investigation, the deceased was murdered on December 8 at Ikoyi-Ile in Ikire, Osun State, by some individuals who had since been arrested.
“The university’s management hereby commiserates with the parents and other family members of the deceased, the staff and students of the department, and the entire university community.
“The Police have assured us that justice will be served in this case as the perpetrators of this heinous crime will be charged to court immediately investigation is concluded.”
Nigerian rapper, Remilekun Safaru popularly known as Reminisce has revealed that he initially thought he was jinxed, when his musical career refused to pick up during the early stage of his career.

Nollywood actress Monalisa Stephen was attacked on social media weeks back when she stated that she doesn’t want to marry neither have children of her own.
But in a new interview with Vanguard, the actress has opened up on the reason why she is making that critical life decision.
“Most people think it’s abnormal not to have your own flesh and blood and they think I took this decision because of my past relationship/heartbreak. Even someone personally chatted me and said she hopes I will find time to heal from what I am going through, blah blah, but this is a decision I took when I was 15, even though I am in my 20s but I relate well with older people and they thought me a lot of good things which changed my approach to life decisions and situations,” she said.

Hollywood actor, Andrew Dunbar, best known for his work on Game of Thrones, has been found dead at his Belfast, Ireland home on Christmas Eve.
The 30-year-old Portrush native was renowned on the set of the hit HBO show where he worked for years as an extra. He was a body double for Theon Greyjoy, who is played by Alfie Allen in the series.
His acting career included appearances on the TV shows Line Of Duty and Derry Girls. He also worked as a Game of Thrones tour guide. Pamela Smyth, the head of crowd makeup at Game of Thrones, was quoted in reports that Dunbar was “always professional and mannerly, with a big broad beaming smile. A beautiful soul he will be missed by all the GOT family.”
A police spokesman said the ‘death is not being treated as suspicious’. A post-mortem has also taken place to establish the cause of death.
First Bank of Nigeria Limited has reacted to an attempted robbery at its Mpape, Abuja branch, a suburb of the capital city.
