Family members of Nigerian scholar, Pius Adesanmi, are currently at loggerheads with his wife, Muyiwa, who they claim buried his remains in Canada without their consent.
Adesanmi who died in the ill-fated Ethiopian Airlines crash in March this year, was committed to mother earth in Ottawa, Canada on Saturday October 26th.
In an article released by his relative, Mike Oyelude, and posted by the Cable, the family accused Mrs Adesanmi of burying their son in Canada against his wish.
According to Oyelude, the late Adesanmi had always wanted to be buried in his home state, Kogi state. He said neither Adesanmi’s mother, Madam Lois Adesanmi nor his first child from his previous marriage, Oluwadamilare, were contacted for the burial.
Read the article below;
Saturday November 2, 2019 made it exactly one week since we read on social media about the purported burial of our son, the late Prof. Pius Adebola Adesanmi. This burial reportedly took place in Ottawa on October 26, 2019. Since the so-called burial, we have waited for confirmation and used established channels to find out what really happened.
It is now evident, that our late son’s remains were interred in Ottawa without family consent and contrary to the wish of the deceased to be buried in his place of birth, Isanlu. To our shock and chagrin, this interment was carried out without the knowledge or consent of Prof. Adesanmi’s aged mother and his eldest daughter.
Since the death of our son in the ill-fated Ethiopian Airlines crash, we have been subjected to unspeakable disrespect, deceit and discourtesy by Boeing, Ethiopian Airlines and Prof Adesanmi’s widow in Ottawa. We want to place on record that neither Boeing, Ethiopian Airlines nor Prof. Adesanmi’s widow Olumuyiwa Balogun has done right by the family. We have not been called nor informed about the accident till date.
Prof. Adesanmi was born in Isanlu, in Kogi State to the Adesanmi family. We raised our son in the best custom of our ancestors and the Christian faith. Although his father, Pa Adesanmi passed before his son in relative old age, he is survived by his aged mother Mama Lois Adesanmi and two young daughters Oluwadamilare and Oluwatise. It is public knowledge in official and private circles that both children were born to Prof. Adesanmi in Ottawa to different mothers, in lawful wedlock.
“Oluwadamilare ‘Dammy’ Adesanmi was born in wedlock to Pius and Oluwatosin in Ottawa. That makes Dammy a bona-fide Canadian citizen. It is disdainful to make it appear as if Pius is survived by one child. In our culture and before the law, children born in lawful wedlock have equal status before the law and society.
Indeed since our world crashed with Pius last March, nobody has deemed it fit to officially contact his family in any official capacity. If the airlines whose negligence led to the untimely death of our son has made contact with anyone on our behalf, it was incumbent on them to ensure that we were duly carried along by way of official information and that our consent is sought as to how our son’s remains would be interred.
“We would like to place it on record that neither the airline nor anyone else bothered to seek our consent or approval before the purported ceremony in Ottawa. We refuse to believe that this was not done deliberately to maximise the pain, the suffering and the agony of our matriarch” he said
The wife of the deceased is yet to react to the article.
The University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT, has launched its policy against sexual harassment where amorous hugging between lecturers and female students is now an offence.
UNIPORT Campus
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ndowa E. S. Lale said the University decided to raise the bar on sexual harassment to ensure that the young men and women put in the charge of lecturers are protected, especially from antics of sexual predators who use their privileged positions to blackmail or railroad their unwilling students or subordinate staff into granting them sexual favours.
He said the management of the University in the policy document defined the rules of engagement in terms of the acceptable of engagement between lecturers, administrators and students, including visitors to the university. Prof Ndowa vowed that sanctions would be meted to erring members of staff but added that there was a robust in built checks and balances to protect those who are innocently accused.
He also warned that any person so accused would be presumed guilty until he or she could prove otherwise under the established rules of fair hearing. Prof Ndowa also warned that henceforth, lectures and administrators who did not remember to tell their tailors to sew zippers in front of their trousers should be ready to bear the consequences of their amorous liaison with female students.
He warned that the same applied to students who harassed lecturers to award them undeserved grades, saying they should equally be ready to face the music if and when caught in the act of self advertisement to their lecturers.
A Nigerian lady, Christina Temitope Abiola is trending on social media following the birth of her bouncing baby girl named, Aniyah Oluwanifemi Grant.
The lady who is proudly black and tags herself ‘Melanin Madness’ released some daring baby-bump photos in which her tummy was covered with black marks.
According to her, she felt so uncomfortable showing that off to the general public and this forced her to delay the shoot to the later end of the pregnancy period.
She could have avoided the photo-shoot but she wanted to keep memories of the pregnancy period just like other women do. After a long time of contemplating, she undertook the photoshoot and decided to share with her over 36,000 followers on Instagram.
Her pictures came with a stunning and inspiring caption which reads ;
“BTS Insecurity is a dangerous thing. I believe It restrains us from for filling our full potential. When it came down to shooting my maternity photos I was truly afraid. So afraid I delayed it to 38 weeks pregnant!! time was truly running out and I wanted my memories! At first I asked the photographer to try and edit the marks.
However it was so much the edit made it look off. So I said no worries let’s do! I’ve been struggling with embracing my marks because I felt like I was the only one who’s experienced such an extreme amount. My entire belly was covered and I felt like I was doing something wrong.. I was more worried about after having her if they’d even go away and how long it would take.. but through the love and support of friends and family I feel very secure! I like to call my marks beauty marks! Because my marks represent the beautiful life I brought to the world! I honestly would do it all over again for her”

Nigerian singer, Doyinsola who recently welcomed her first child with her husband Mr Akinola in the United States after 6 years of marriage, has recounted the challenges she faced.
Doyinsola revealed that she suffered miscarriages over three times and had to go in for different tests, surgeries and also took so much drugs.
She wrote on IG ;
“Meet the Akinola’s. My Beautiful Family of 3. Fun fact: Being married for 6years long before my music career started off professionally. Just didn’t feel the need to play the married woman card. Don’t ask me why, we just wanted to keep it that way ??This young man came along and I can’t but share my joy with you.
My Testimony: I love babies so much and people around can attest to that. I wanted to have my own babies like normal couples do. Fortunately for us, without even trying I got pregnant with my first a month after my wedding and trust me I was super excited and looking forward to having the baby. Life happened and it ended in a miscarriage. Battled recurrent miscarriages ever since then, not once, not twice, not thrice?? Took different tests, surgeries, lots of drugs” I hate swallowing pills but it soon became my best friend “, tried different hospitals and results always come back good. Hence the confusion and anxiety.
At this point we decided to seek other means of parenting method precisely IVF. After making some payments we were supposed to go back for some tests to get started but in the process of waiting. I got pregnant again and this time I carried my pregnancy to full term with a healthy and most beautiful human have ever seen to show for it.
Lesson: Trust God’s process cos his timing is best for us. Forget all the packaging,I became really closer to my God and put all my trust in Him. People will come up with advises of all kinds. Make up your mind, it’s either God or nothing. Be nice to everyone around you cos you don’t have an idea of what battle they are fighting. Prophecy positive things into your life always. Tell God what you want. Do not give in to fear atall.
Stop asking irrelevant and sensitive questions like why are you not pregnant? If you care so much, mention them to God in your prayers. You might want to bury yourself with work when you’re down. I do that a lot and it helps. Get busy like really busy. Be happy for people not jealous, so that your day of joy too can come. I started to meditate on this bible verse alot Ezekiel12vs28 Marry your best friend, you might not appreciate it until you’re faced with challenges. TBC…

Nollywood actress cum Instagram comedian, Etinosa has revealed how a certain stranger she didn’t know or ever met recently sent her Range Rover Evoque.
“The craziest thing a fan has done, was when a guy I have never met sent me a Range Rover. I’m not good with cars but I think it’s Evoque. It’s crazy because I didn’t even know him, she said.
Etinosa also spoke about the sex for roles/grades controversy.
“When I was up and coming, I faced a few sex for role situations, but I was never pressured into doing anything, because I was already informed from film school that things like this would happen. No producer has the right to determine your success. So, as an up and coming girl, I was never desperate.

In the beginning, when I started, I kept getting mixed up with another DJ who was also mixed race and looked like me. We had similar mixing styles too. I had to figure out a way to stand out from the crowd. This is my calling card. You can forget my name but you can never forget my face.”
“DJs have changed the game. We have made it more of a branding situation. We are now individuals and brands to be reckoned with. We are more business-like than before. I came back to the industry to make sure that is the situation,”.

Well, the lendee couldn’t care less about what his lender wants to do with money cause he plans on paying it back in a short time but since he still wouldn’t lend him the money, he resorts to lashing out at him.

Please also be informed that at the time of signing the fiasco Moët deal, Chief priest, I was told stylishly got Mercy to do most of what he wanted. :
Yes there was the mention of N30m+. But that was supposedly going to go into Mercy’s t&t, hotels, clothing etc anytime she supposedly attended “Moët&Chandon event” ?… all happening on the ticket of cubanna and not Moët.

Khafi, apparently, found love in the house in Gedoni.. and he’s taken to his Instagram page this morning to express his undying love for her, as he wished her a happy birthday.
He wrote; “The best gifts in life are those we find in unexpected places, when we aren’t looking. It was no mistake when the Bible described humans as “treasures in earthen vessels”, because I’ve found one in you – Precious, valuable, lovable and with a heart so pure.
Your innocence is beautiful, your smile brightens my world and your entire personality? Simply delightful.
“I went into BBNaija for something I thought I wanted, and came out with someone I needed (a partner, a support system, a friend, a sister; everything I didn’t even know I needed). On this special day; I just want to say I love you dearly @acupofkhafi and I cherish what we share. Love you longggggggggggg @acupofkhafi”
Ex-BBNaija housemate, Khafi Kareem, says she has been asked to resume work at the London Metropolitan police in the United Kingdom where she was an officer before participating in Big Brother Naija 2019.

Khafi who returned to the UK two weeks ago, told Mirror in a new interview, that she did ask healr bosses for permission to go on the show but they declined her request. She said the police have since contacted her and asked her to return to her seat.
“I started to ask what the procedure is, what would I do, I thought I might actually get into the show. I wanted to do everything by the book even though I didn’t know if I was in the show or not. I spoke to as many people as I was told to. I was told to go to my commander; I explained the situation, I told him I wanted time off – three months off of work and the reason was because I might get on Big Brother.
Work has been really great, we’ve been speaking and communicating, they asked me when I’d be coming back to work. I’m not sure when I’m going to go back yet. I want to get back as soon as possible, I’m passionate about keeping London safer.” she said
Khafi who turns a year older today November 3rd, also denied claims that herself and her former housemate turned lover, Gedoni Ekpata, had sex while in the house. She confirmed they were in a serious relationship and hopes they are still together for a love time.
“We are still together now – I met someone in there and fell in love with him. I hope we will be together for a very long time.” she said

According to him, ‘my journey transforming into a beautiful woman was awesome. Yes the procedure might have cost millions but am happy’.
He then went on to say, ‘I have been doing many surgeries low key cos I don’t want drama. More surgeries coming through by this time next year I guess I want to contest for miss WORLD’.

Eva Chris, a fast-rising Nollywood actress with an hour-glass figure does not shy away when it comes to flaunting and talking about her natural endowments.
Eva, in a recent chat with Inside Nollywood confirmed that her killer curves, aside being her unique selling points, also open doors for her.
“It has always been my dream from childhood to be celebrated. A producer once saw me on Instagram and chatted me up. He said he needed me for a movie role because I had the curves he’s looking for in his upcoming movie. So, my curves bring me favour a lot. In fact, my curves are my unique selling points,” she said.
“I have not really had embarrassing moments in the industry, but my life outside the industry has not been easy. Most times when I go out, guys call out on me. They make funny comments like “Ye! Mogbe!” (Yeh! Am done for).
“Recently, a guy accosted me on the road and said “because of you, I must make money. I will be rich and come back for you. I will find you.” I was shocked.
“Then another problem I have is that when someone approaches me, I wouldn’t know if he really wants to date me or just sleep with me and leave. I’m still single and I want a man that will love and support my dreams, and also help me achieve them. I don’t care about tribe. But, of course, he must be a rich guy. I work hard, so I can’t settle for less. He should be taller than me too. I don’t want an actor, but a musician or athlete, yes,” she stated.

‘Brother you tried your best to fight it …jah knows better ….he’s bigger than everyone and no man can question him May your soul rest in perfect peace brother.’
In another post, Oritsefemi also blamed Junglist’s friends for not speaking out on time when he first took ill until it got serious.
He was a brave man …. he was the first to travel abroad among the both of us #china he was very talented, he know I love him ? he know I can take any shot on his behalf … he was so sick for so long, his so called new friends kept it on till when it got worse for him, that was when I was informed… and I sent money to them immediately to take him straight to the hospital… the so called friends told me the truth that my brother can not survive it anymore that he has to take him back to his mum ..
My problem is why they waited for this long… if y’all are true friends… no one can bring out money except me … nobody .. all of you guys should have contributed 1k each if you truly want him to survive, but I did my part am not super rich but have stood for so many people in this life, I took my fellow brothers problems first before facing my own.
There is no need to throw stones at anyone or throw blames! If I choose not to publicize how I help, doesn’t mean I don’t do my part! We can all be our brothers keepers.
No more comment from me!
Rest In Peace my brother, chibudo obinkwo.

She shared a video of herself as she lay on a sickbed with her left hop severly bruised due to the gravity of the fall.
In the short clip, the actress looks to be really weak and writhing in pain as drips were attached to her body.
The actress, also in the video, urged the management of the club to ensure that the drainage is covered so as to prevent other unforeseen occurrences which could be more fatal than hers.
She shared alongside the video,
Coming out of @clubquilox this morning I fell into the drainage at the car park. It was a bad experience, please quickly do something about those opened gutters before it kills someone ,
Other people might not have the Grace
To survive such incident
But I thank God For his grace over my life
Am doing this because it’s necessary
Not to talk down on the club
But for corrections to be made
So it doesn’t happen to some one else
Thank you
