In light of this, the latest celebrity to be pressurized about getting married is Efya.
Efya took to her Twitter page to post;
“I just woke up… see you tonight,” She was referring to the just ended Livespot X Festival headlined by American Grammy-winning rapper, Cardi B.
A Twitter user who obviously could not mind his business replied Efya’s post by charging her to get married as that is the most important thing.
He wrote; “Get married that’s the most important thing. Efya started with Beyonce and Rihanna dems…they all engaged what is she waiting for.”
Not pleased with the comment, Efya replied by asking the fan to mind his business and go stream her latest music instead.

The twitter user with the handle @Mrodanz criticized Peter Okoye in response to the singer’s comment earlier today when he called a fan broke.
Recall Peter had tweeted about having peace of mind ever since he became a solo artist and when a fan suggested that he (Peter) was not minding his business and was in an obvious battle for supremacy with his brother (Paul), Peter replied the fan calling him broke.
Mr Odanz however frowned at Peter’s reply and he tweeted thus ;
When a Nigerian celebrity has no meaningful response to give after saying something stupid, they proceed to call you broke.

A Nigerian man identified as Ejike Ofoegbu has taken to social media to narrate his encounter with a ghost at a bank.

I never believed dead men work again until what I saw today made me to believe so, I have never encounter spirit until today.
I walked in to my bank to fix the issues am having with my bank, I won’t say the name of the bank to avert unnecessary conflict.
When I walked in, there were many people in the bank, so I waited for my turn to reach, along the long wait, I decided to use their toilet, as I was about to walk into the toilet, I saw a man who walked pass me, he walked into the toilet before me, so I stayed in front of the door waiting for him.
for good five minutes this man is still in the toilet, to make case more scary for me, the man was standing, which means he wasn’t really going to toilet. I knocked in the door again “ gbom!! gbom!!! Sir please am still waiting for you” I said, he then closed the toilet door completely, and that was were the demonic power came in, the sound I was hearing before all stop, I stand there for more 10 minutes, I decided to open the door gently, until the door was widely open, the man was nowhere to be found, to my surprise, the water sink tap was running, the power bank I saw him enter with was there, but no trace of the man.
I met the security, I told him what just happened, he was shocked, he told me, did I really saw that, he now also explained to me, that their night duty security always said that a man always Enter that toilet at night, he wanted to took me to their manager, I refused.
With my investigations, I later learned that in 2017 February a man died in that bank, he was requesting for his money sized by the bank, when the bank told him that his money has been fortified by the government, he collapsed and died in the bank instantly
With so much scared in my heart, I rushed home, I unlocked the door, but the door didn’t open, I felt like someone was holding it from inside, I asked myself what was happening, because I didn’t get all this drama, I heard a voice from inside that said, “ never tell anyone what you saw or happened today” I rushed to call my friend, when we rushed back, the door is already opened.

“She was my hope, my future” – Mother of final year Law student stabbed to death demands justice
Mrs Tari Itonyo, mother of late Miss Matilda Itonyo, the final year female law student of the Rivers State University who was stabbed to death in the early hours of Tuesday, December 10th, has cried out for justice.
Matilda was stabbed to death by yet to be identified persons inside her apartment in Eagle lsland area of Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital. She was found in the pool of her blood by her friend who alerted the police.
Speaking to newsmen, Mrs Itonyo who could not control her tears, appealed to security agencies to fish out the persons responsible for the gruesome murder of her child whom she described as her ”Hope and future”.
“I just want justice. Just look at me. The girl has struggled… struggled to final year for Law. My Hope…My Future. Part of my flesh and blood is going out of me. My tomorrow’s Glory is going down l need justice. l need…justice, l need…l need justice l can’t bear it. Matilda is somebody everybody wants to to be a mother to. Matilda is somebody everybody is saying how I wish l have Baby like this one. How can they cut down the life of my daughter like this? I need Government to help me. I need justice.” she said weeping
Ebikili ltonyo, father of the deceased, also demanded justice.
“My daughter struggled to make it and somebody will just come to take her life like that. Its a very painful thing. l don’t even know what to do. Let the Government come to my aid. People of Nigeria… People of Bayelsa,people of Rivers State please come to my aid to get the killers of my daughter.”
Spokesperson of the Rivers state police command, Nnamdi Omoni, says the police has begun investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing of Matilda.

Actor Bolanle Ninalowo cries out as fraudsters create fake ATM and passport with his details (photos)
Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has revealed the attempts of some unscrupulous individuals who are at large and trying to commit fraudulent activities using his name.
The movie star shared a picture of a cloned international passport that had his name and photograph on it. This was accompanied by another picture of a fake ATM card that also had his full name on it.
According to the actor, both items do not belong to him and they are counterfeit.
“This is how far they go now to scam people. A fake passport in my name and picture (no surprise). A Real/Fake first bank ATM card (not sure because I don’t even know how possible it is to obtain one without a BVN number or did they generate one at the bank?” his post read in part.
The actor went on to warn anyone that is affiliated to him that he does not have any online transactions going on, as such, they should be wary of shady deals.
Ninalowo stressed that he does not have any other account on social media, apart from his Instagram account.

Dabota Lawson calls out Reno Omokri over post on celebrities flaunting luxury lifestyles
Dabota Lawson has called out popular Nigerian author, Reno Omokri, over a post he made which was directed at celebrities.
Omokri on the Twitter post had submitted that regular people are richer than a lot of celebrities that flaunt a larger-than-life kind of lifestyle on social media.
According to him, half of the things they put up are partly financed with loans and sometimes, on credit.
Reacting, Lawson shared a screenshot of the post on her Instagram page, accompanied with a caption in which she addressed Omokri.
According to her, Omokri’s take only encourages bad behavior from youths, and acts of theft. She explained that in saner climes, youths should be able to take loans to fund the kind of lifestyle they desire.
However, because of the poor system in Nigeria, people see the most basic things as a form of luxury.
“A country with a good system and a good structure should encourage such behavior ( people taking loans ).
It is because the system has failed that people have become desperate and feel the need to brag about things that an average citizen with a good credit score should be able to acquire ,” she said.
The entrepreneur charged Omokri to change his mindset, noting that a flashy lifestyle comes with being a celebrity, but it does not make them the problem.

Controversial Instagram sensation, Blessing Okoro has taken to her page to reveal the reason her first marriage crashed.
The marriage, which produced one son, packed up after a few years. The blogger has previously said the marriage ended due to domestic violence. Now she is claiming the violence nearly claimed her life.

“One week after our wedding, he beat me to coma.”
Blessing, who got married at the age of 19, added that she is lucky to have had witnesses the times her ex allegedly beat her.

She also said in another video that he beat her “to the altar” on their wedding day because she refused to pack plates.

Woman impregnated by her father twice reportedly had twins the first time and sold one
A bizarre occurrence recently took place in Okofia, Otolo Nnewi in Anambra state after a man in his 60s impregnated his daughter twice.
The abominable act led to the banishment of the man and his daughter from the community (read here).
It is now alleged that the first pregnancy the daughter had resulted in twins but she sold one.
The father, in his 60s, from Okija in Anambra state, impregnated his daughter the first time but, according to a Facebook user who claims she’s their neighbor, he got away with it because members of the community where he lives in Nnewi assumed it was one of the students in the area who was responsible for her pregnancy.
She allegedly gave birth to twins and sold one of the babies.

A nephew of the deceased, Michael Ikyaator, who took to his twitter page to share the story, said the deceased slumped and was rushed to the hospital but the hospital staff allegedly refused to attend to him because they had no police report.
His tweet reads ;
My uncle slumped yesterday in Abuja and was rushed to the Asokoro District Hospital, the hospital refused to treat him and insisted on a police report, he died in the car he was brought in, he wasn’t shot or stabbed. What have we done to the Nigerian healthcare system?
Not too long after we lost Moradeun Balogun to the same careless system, another innocent Nigerian has to die over a senseless and heartless policy. Who invented the police report policy and why do they still insist on it?
He wasnt in any form of violence, passed out, why did we need to bring a police report??? All of the hospital staff at Asokoro District Hospital refused to treat until he died in car he was brought in. I am lost for words here.
Electricity workers suspend nationwide strike action
The National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) has suspended its nationwide strike embarked upon on Wednesday December 11th.
National President of NUEE, Comrade Joe Ajaero, disclosed this to Thisday Newspaper after hours of meetings with the Federal government.
“We have concluded deliberations and all issues were addressed but we are awaiting implementation. Meanwhile, our strike action is suspended,” Ajaero said at the end of the meeting that ended in the early hours of today
The Eko Electricity Distribution Company also announced this on its Twitter handle.
The union had decided to take a strike action following the Federal Government inability to resolve the lingering industrial crisis in the sector. The union had earlier given the Federal government a 21-day ultimatum to address its grievances. The ultimatum expired on Tuesday December 10th and so they decided to embark on a strike action on Wednesday December 11th.
