Ghanaian television host and actress, Joselyn Dumas has reflected on her journey so far as she marks the 10th year anniversary since she hit the big screen.
Dumas made her debut on television as the host of Charter House’s Rhythmz, an entertainment show where she interviewed many celebrities.
Reminiscing on how it all started, Joselyn told NEWS-ONE that she knew nothing about acting when she started 10 years ago. In spite of this, she didn’t give up.

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday heard that stolen credit card information issued by European, American and Latin American banks were retrieved from a laptop allegedly belonging to musician, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley.
An Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) forensics expert, Mr Nuru Buhari told Justice Nicholas Oweibo that some of the credit card information belonged to four persons in the United Kingdom (UK) including one Nicole Louise.
Buhari testified as the EFCC’s first prosecution witness in Marley’s alleged card fraud trial which began on Tuesday.
The witness, who was led in evidence by EFCC counsel Mr Rotimi Oyedepo, alleged that apart from the stolen information, the website visit history recovered from the device showed that the top five most visited sites dealt with buying and selling of stolen credit card information.
Buhari said: “During analysis, the cache file and history file revealed that the most frequently visited sites by the user of the computer includes arder007.org, Zuni.sa, nationwidecheckbalance.co.uk, ferunshop.net AMD cocoa.co.uk.”
“Analysis of the websites revealed that web 1 is where stolen card information is sold to intending fraudsters, web 2 is for stolen credit cards specifically for the UK, web 3 is an online website designed for UK card holders to check their balance wherever they are around the world, web 4 is a dark web meaning an underground tunnel in the internet where stolen credit card information are sold and traded, web 5 is an online shopping mall where members are given discounts for shopping from certain shops.”
He said stolen credit card information with special status that allows transaction up-to $12,000 without a pin or physical card was found in a file named select BIN 101.txt and .txt.
The witness added: “For the note file, two major files were discovered named .txt which contained about four credit card information belonging to four different personalities in the UK including one Nicole Louise. ”
“The second file is named selected BIN101.txt containing Bank Identification Number of European, American and Latin American banks.
“When we ran the BIN code search for the first six digits of the cards, it revealed they are Visa cards issued by Barclay’s bank, Sandander UK plc.”
Buhari testified that an analysis allowed his team to identify “certain banks in the US, Europe and Asia with certain peculiarities, these are banks that they issue credit cards without pins based on the high level of trust, they allow a transaction of up to $12,000 in a swipe on pos.
“Cards issued by those banks are card not required. All you need to execute a transaction is the card number and the CVV number. ”
According to him, suspicious apps that are mostly used by people with shady deals on the internet were found on the laptop.
He said: “We analysed installed apps on the laptop and we found two apps that enables the owner of the computer to decide the server of a bank as to his identity and location, IP VANISH and TOR browser.
“The TOR browser is sometimes called the onion. Most of the criminals cover their tracks with various layers just like an onion using this app to make it near impossible for a tracker to track their location.
“The IP VANISH is a virtual private network (VPN) which provides that the actual computer and location of usage cannot be identified. It also gives the user the ability to change their location.”
The court heard further that an analysis of the administrator account on the laptop revealed that the admin is one Naira Marley and the account was connected to his iCloud account.
During the hearing, Oyedepo tendered the request for the analysis of the Apple Mac book Pro laptop, an iPhone allegedly confiscated from the defendant and the forensic laboratory report prepared by Mr Buhari.
Justice Oweibo adjourned till Friday for cross examination of the witness.
Fashola, popular for his “Am I a Yahoo Boy” and “Soapy” tracks, is being prosecuted by the EFCC on an 11-count charge of conspiracy, possession of counterfeit cards and fraud.

Recall, In the over three minute video, the two women obviously irritated and angry claimed that Davido had through his manager, Lati accosted them during a birthday gathering at Eko Hotel in Lagos.
According to the lady, after having sex with Davido, she found out that she was pregnant and all moves made towards reaching Davido and his manager have been received with strong opposition.

A 24-year-old boy who specialized in sending threat messages to his unsuspecting victims, has been arrested by the police.
Opoma Terry, who operates from Lagos state, sends messages to his victims, threatening to assassinate or kidnap them if some specified amount of money is not paid.
The suspect, who recently got back from Ghana, was arrested for trying to defraud Hon. Ned Nwoko, the husband of Regina Daniels, by telling him that he was hired to assassinate the actress.
Accordng to Terry, at first, he tried defrauding Chief Nwoko of the sum of N700k, but along the line, he had a change of mind and started opening up himself, to the extent of telling him that he’s not actually an assassin, but a Yahoo boy who just needs his financial assistance to drop the habit.
Chief Nwoko, while playing along, requested for his account details and made a transfer of N400k to him. But before then, he already alerted Access bank management and security operatives about Terry and he was arrested when he went to withdraw the money.

According to EFCC, Mompha was arrested on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on his way to Dubai following series of intelligence reports received by the Commission.
In his reaction to a video showing Mompha all smiles after he was arrested by the EFCC, Ayo Shonaiya said, ‘this is exactly how the EFCC will mess up the case. I don’t understand this nonsense media fixation of parading suspects before trial’.

Abdulmalik Saidu Maibiredi, a bread vendor appointed Senior Special Assistant on Social Media to the Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, has vowed to continue selling bread after office hours, DailyNigerian reports.
The Zamfara Governor appointed Mr Maibiredi as Senior Special Assistant with effect from September 14, 2019.
In a telephone interview with DailyNigerian, Mr Maibiredi, 24, said he would still continue selling bread after office hours.
Maibiridi said ;
“I am still very proud of my business, and I never felt denigrated selling bread. I started selling bread since I was in primary school.
“I use the proceeds of the business to pay PTA dues for myself, pay for common entrance examination, placement examination and SSCE.
“I bought bicycle for myself when I was in class 4 in primary school. I never bothered to ask my parents for money to buy school uniform.
“I did my NCE selling bread. I am currently going for my final year in the Federal University Gusau. That is how I became who I am today. Right now as we speak, it is bread in front of me.”

Mompha, a premium and first class customer of one of the popular international airlines, was arrested on Friday 18, October 2019 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on his way to Dubai Emirate following series of intelligence reports received by the EFCC.
According to reports going viral online, a female student of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, yesterday confessed to being a mermaid.
Upon hearing the news that one of them confessed she was of the marine world, pandemonium erupted as other female students ran out of the hostel for ”safety.”
The alleged mermaid known as Olamide was said to have had misunderstanding with another student identified as Blessing who she was accomodating in her room. Olamide claimed Blessing stole her necklace and threatened to deal with Blessing with powers from the ”Marine Spirits.”
An eyewitness wrote ;
“A girl named Blessing who is being squatted by Olamide in Fagunwa hall had a misunderstanding with her. The misunderstanding was caused by a missing wristwatch. Upon losing her necklace, Olamide suspected Blessing and immediately sent her packing from the room and also wrote long notes stating and threatening her not to ever mess with the Marine spirits frankly stating that she is one of them.
This statement and notes written by the “mammy water” sparked speculations that she was an actual water goddess. Her roommates said that she only baths in the morning, upon waking, her bed is always soaked, she wakes up to soak and pour water on her leg, praying to a necklace over her bed every morning.
“These statements provoked her roommates who dragged her outside while still emphatically insisting that she’s a mermaid.
“These frustrations caused her (mammy water) to reveal that the missing necklace (the one that causes fight) makes her turn into a fish. After these confessions, the Able-bodied Alpha base were then invited into the hostel to lead her out.”

Gracious David-West, the notorious Port-harcourt serial killer yesterday pleaded guilty to the murder of 9 ladies.
The suspect was arraigned before a Rivers State High Court on a 10-count charge bordering on conspiracy and murder at the Justice Adolphous Enebeli court in Port Harcourt
“My Lord, I killed all other girls in the hotels but that one in Bendel Street, which is the 10th charge. I did not have in mind to kill her, I only tied her to the chair,” the accused told the court.
David-West asked for forgiveness after pleading guilty to nine counts out of 10, stressing that he told the court the truth so he could be forgiven, and that he committed the crimes under satanic influence.
He added that the police seized his N60,000, necklace and wristwatch, urging the court to compel the police to release the said items to him.
The trial judge, Justice Enebeli, the. adjourned the matter to November 18, 21, 27 and 29 and December 4, 2019, for hearing and remanded the suspect in prison.
Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky, was recently assaulted by a man who bashed his car and damaged his Iphone 11 and the ‘gist’ dominated social media since Monday as the issue even escalated to the man spending some days behind bars.
The man who has now regained his freedom, has narrated his own side of the story.
Speaking to the media personality, Daddy Freeze, the man blamed the incident on Bobrisky’s unexpected use of his car’s brake. He further revealed that his car’s bumper got spoilt as a result of the accident but nothing happened to Bobrisky’s car.
He claimed he told the crossdresser ‘sorry’ after the incident but he refused to move his car. He also said that he felt Bobrisky was woman which was why he was calm at first, but had to fight back after he took his phone. The man told Daddy Freeze that the police told him to buy Bobrisky a new phone after his iPhone 11 max got damaged in the fight.
