Big Brother Naija Reality TV star, Uriel has replied a follower who bugged her to marry, instead of flaunting her photos and self on the gram.
“Try and Marry”, the follower said to Uriel, in which she replied, “”Let me marry your papa. You undigested Asun, no try me you won’t like your shoe again”

This is coming after she shared a heartrending video on her Instagram, in which she talked about her mum’s dementia, her thoughts about becoming a single parent, and how her mum’s health has affected every decision she’s made and plans to make.
“If I leave it any longer and I don’t meet anybody anytime soon, she won’t remember my child,” said the BBNaija star who has been celibate in almost four years. She wants a traditional family but fears this may take a long time to accomplish, and by that time her mother’s health would have deteriorated.

“Even if I were to introduce my child to my mum, and she’s at her later stages of her illness, no connection, she will just… nothing. She’s already on her way out. And that made me angry. It made me angry.”
She continued, “I’ve never questioned religion in any way and I never will question religion… never question God, but I question my morals and for me that was deep. I question my morals in the sense of, I said to myself, ‘what if I wanted to have a child in order for my child and for me to give my mum the chance to have a connection with my child before she goes? Because my mum is going to forget the memories that we cherished together.”
The reality TV star broke down in tears, recalling her favorite moments with her mum. “And she’ll forget all of that. She’ll forget my name. So while she’s still there just a little bit, would it be such a bad idea for me to have a child? And that thought crossed my head and I was like, ‘no no no. It’s not culturally… It’s not right culture-wise. People might look down at me. People might say, ‘you’re wrong’, ‘I hate you’ or ‘you’re setting a bad example’.

“So in what situation does a situation become morally right.”

Nollywood actress, Queen Nwokoye lost her father and mother within six months in 2019.
The Actress has now taken to her social media page to give thanks to God although she is yet to get over the loss.

She wrote: “I started 2019 with my Mum and My Dad and within 6 months, I became an orphan. I still don’t know how I managed to pull through two burial ceremonies within 6 months.
“I can’t question God but my heart bleeds for them. I take solace in the fact that they are in a better place. Today, I have made a decision to be happy and put everything behind me. God is in control. Happy weekend everyone.”
UK-based Nollywood actress andproducer, Timmy K MacNicol has given her two cents concerning Regina Daniels’ decision to marry an old man… and she says Regina might regret it later in life.
Timmy K, is filled with pains and regrets over certain unpleasant decisions she took at a young age and she shares with Pearlnews.com how she plans to make amends.

In her words ;
“Some day, I want to reach out to people like me. Ladies who go into prostitution because they are orphans. People who steal because they are orphaned. My story is a bitter one.
I pray God gives me the chance and keep me alive to talk about it, so I can inspire and warn others too. From the age of 9, till now, I have been struggling. I want my voice to be heard. I want to tell my story to every one out there.

My marriage became an abuse for years. I also went into depression and was rushed to the hospital,” she recalled.
“I don’t think I want to give marriage another chance, because my marriage experience is very bitter.
I have been abused and I kept enduring. I want to move on with my career for now, but you never can tell. I might fall in love. And if I would eventually get married again, it would be a man within my age bracket, not an old man, like I did before. Not marry an old man because of money. I married a grandfather.
Talking about Regina Daniels, I was same age when I got married to an old man (my ex).
I don’t think her mother, Rita Daniels influenced her decision. The person that should be blamed is the manipulative husband because this is exactly what happened to me. Old men are always using money and affluence to manipulate young girls and they fall for it. I was a victim too.
Regina fell for the money, I was an orphan and I feel for an old man because of his wealth and affluence. I am still stuck in this, because its hard to pull out.”
Aishatu Mohammed, wife of Bauchi Governor, Bala Mohammed has revealed that she had no formal education when she married her husband.

The first lady said ;
“I was 16 years old and a stark illiterate when I married my husband. We were 100 girls in our family; none went to school; I only started school after my third child,” she said.
“We were 100 girls in my family, but none of us had formal education; I had never been to primary school in my parent’s house. This is because our parents never believed in educating the girl-child; I struggled to go school, but they refused.
“I picked the challenge to be educated from my brothers and after I had my third child, I insisted my husband gets me a home teacher. That’s how I started and I later went to secondary school. Today I am a graduate of Public Administration from the University of Abuja.”
Two members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) currently undergoing a 3-week orientation course for the 2019 Batch C Stream 1 in EbonyiState, have been dismissed from the orientation camp for refusing to wear trousers.
The duo refused to wear trousers because according to them, doing so was against their faith and as such preferred to wear skirt.

Spokesperson of the NYSC in the state, Ngozi Ukwuoma, in a statement made available to newsmen, said that the duo were spotted by the camp director, Mrs. Isu Josephine, and her team during routine inspection wearing white t-shirt and white skirt.
She gave the names of the two corps members as Okafor Love Obianuju with registration number EB/19C/0523 and Odji Oritsetsolaye (EB/19C/0530).
The statement partly read: “When they were accosted and interrogated, they disclosed that they could not wear the white shorts and the trousers given to them by the NYSC since it was against their faith.

Efforts were however made by the office of the Camp Director to make them see reason why they must obey the rules and regulations guiding the orientation and NYSC, but all efforts to do that proved futile.
The corps members were queried and subsequently made to face the camp court, where they were found guilty, having made it categorically clear that they were ready to bear the consequences of their actions,” she said.
Mrs Ukwuoma noted that the court recommendations were submitted to the camp Management and the Camp Director was directed to de-kit the Corps Members.

“They were de-kitted in the presence of security agents, who also escorted them to the gate as they left the camp”, the spokesperson added.

Brazil’s former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has been released from prison after a judge ordered the release.
The order which was handed down on Friday, November 8, 2019, came just one day after the country’s Supreme Court ruled that convicted defendants could only be imprisoned after all appeals to higher courts had been exhausted, paving the way for Lula and another 5,000 prisoners to be freed.

Da Silva, 74, was serving a 12-year sentence for corruption and money laundering before a judge ordered for his release.
After his release on Friday, he was greeted by hundreds of supporters outside the federal police headquarters in the city of Curitiba, where he has been imprisoned for 580 days.
In a speech to the crowd, Da Silva pledged to fight to establish his innocence and excoriated what he called the “rotten side of the judicial system” for “working to criminalise the left“.

He went on to say “They did not imprison a man. They tried to kill an idea,” he said. “Brazil did not improve, Brazil got worse. The people are going hungry. The people are unemployed. The people do not have formal jobs. People are working for Uber – they’re riding bikes to deliver pizzas.”
Lula, who served as the country’s leader between 2003 and 2010 would have contested for President in 2018, but his imprisonment barred him from running.
Popular footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor seems to have ended things with his bae, ex-Big Brother Africa winner, Dillish Matthews after it was discovered that they’ve both unfollowed themselves on social media.

The discovery came after a follower of the footballer had taken to his comment section to ask if he’ll be visiting his country and when he answered in the negative, it raised suspicions.

The follower had asked if the footballer will be visiting Namibia soon – in other words, to see Dillish – but when he said he wouldn’t, the follower inquisitively asked why and the response Adebayor gave is what raised the suspicions of his split with the model.

A South African teacher was left bloodied after she was assaulted by a grade 4 pupil from Sakhile Primary School in Heidelberg, Gauteng.
The teacher was treated at a local hospital and discharged on the same day as confirmed by Gauteng’s basic education spokesperson Steve Mabona.
“It is alleged that a grade 4 learner threw a pencil case towards an educator while she was busy at her table. Unfortunately, it hit her in the face.
“We can confirm that she is recuperating at home. Our employee wellness officials are in constant liaison with the educator for necessary support,” Mabona said.
The police were reportedly called in but the school said the matter will be handled by its governing body. Sowetan reported that the pupil has already been suspended, as it was further gathered that the matter will be heard after November 20.
“Learner ill-discipline will not be tolerated in our environment, which must always be conducive for teaching and learning,” Mabona said.
The Nigerian Army has announced the arrest of 16 members of a faction of Boko Haram, the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP).

Nigerian Army Operations Media Coordinator Col. Aminu IIliyas said in a statement released on Friday November 8, that the suspects surrrendered after being outgunned.
The operation which led to the death of several members of the terrorist group, also led to the arrest of several Boko Haram Logistics Suppliers and informants.
“On Nov.1, 16 insurgents along with 8 of their spouses who could no longer bear the heat from the onslaught against them surrendered to the relentless troops of Sector 1, Multinational Joint Task Force at Fotokol” the statement read.
“Subsequently, the surrendered insurgents were later handed over to troops of 3 Battalion (Main) at Gamboru Ngala, a border town North East of Borno.
“During preliminary interrogation and profiling, they confessed to have actively participated in attacks conducted against both military and civilian targets at various times.
“It was further revealed that 14 of them all belonged to ISWAP led by Al – Barnawi while two others, Hassan Kawu and Babagana Bukar Adijabe belonged to Boko Haram (Abubakar Shekau Faction).
”The 14 are; Ibrahim Bunu, Abba Sale, Baba Lamba Alhaji, Bukar Isa, Bukar Ali, Rawa Abba Gana, Mustapha Abatcha, Umar Abubakar, Hassan Bukar, Malam Abatcha Ali, Abba Umar Abatcha, Hussaini Babagana, Idris Mohammed and Umar Abba Bayoma.
“The repentant insurgents however, regretted their participation in the heinous crimes they committed against humanity and are now calling on their former colleagues to retrace their steps and also surrender to troops before it is too late,” he said.
“Troops deployed at Gajigana in Magumeri local government area intercepted some Boko Haram terrorists in the early hours of Nov. 5.
“The vigilant troops blocked and neutralised three of the Boko Haram criminals while several others escaped with varying degrees of gunshot wounds.
“Unfortunately, one soldier paid the supreme price while 2 others were wounded in action.
“The wounded soldiers are currently responding to treatment in a military medical facility.
“Additionally, the troops captured two AK47 Rifles, one Rocket Propelled Gun 7 (RPG 7), 5 AK 47 magazines, 47 Rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition and some quantities of hard drugs.
“In a related incident, another Boko Haram criminal met his waterloo on Nov. 4 while attempting to cross into the Sambisa Forest at Bama-Banki Road Junction when troops sighted and neutralized him.

“The encounter led to the decimation of a number of the insurgents in addition to the destruction of one Boko Haram Gun Truck.
“Unfortunately, one officer paid the supreme price during the encounter.
“Furthermore, during their exploitation, troops discovered and safely detonated two unexploded ordnance materials planted by the insurgents,” Illiyas added.
An eighteen-year-old Thomas Griffiths who murdered his 17-year-old girlfriend Ellie Gould in her family home, has been jailed for life.

The convict reportedly killed his ex-girlfriend on May 3 after she ended their relationship to concentrate on her forthcoming examination, and made the scene look like she inflicted the fatal wounds herself.
Bristol Crown Court heard how Ellie bravely tried to fight Griffiths off by scratching his neck before he left her lying in a pool of blood.
The convict reportedly placed Ellie’s left hand on the handle of the knife which he left in her neck after stabbing her 13 times, before leaving her family house.
He reportedly tried to clean up the scene with cloths he placed in a bag and later discarded in the woods before driving back to his home in nearby Derry Hill.

The school prefect told a neighbour that he had caused the scratches on his neck due to stress and asked her (neighbour) to drive him back to Hardenhuish School, which he and Ellie both attended.
Griffiths also sent messages to Ellie that afternoon and also messaged her friends, telling them he self-harmed himself on his neck and also asked whether they had heard from Ellie.

Matthew Gould, Ellie’s father found her body in the kitchen after he returned home from work by 3pm.
“What matters is that she had called a halt to the relationship as she was perfectly entitled to do. You say you were upset by that,” said Justice Graham.
“In my view, you were a great deal more than upset,” he added.
“You and you alone know exactly what happened that day but what is clear is that at some point, you put your hands around Ellie’s neck and tried to throttle her.”
The Judge continued: “She tried desperately to fight back, scratching at your neck in the process. You did not have the sense, or the decency, to stop. Instead, you picked up a kitchen knife.
“You then carried out the most appalling attack on this defenceless girl, repeatedly stabbing her to the face and neck.
“The pain and terror she must have suffered in her last moments, as your frenzied knife attack continued, is beyond imagining.
“First, and most chillingly, you left Ellie on the floor with the knife embedded in her throat and her left hand around the handle of the knife.
“I have no doubt that you arranged the scene in order that it would appear to those who found Ellie that she had been killed, not by another person, but instead by her own hand or in some terrible accident.”
Speaking of the moment Ellie’s father found her in a “pool of her own blood”, the judge said: “She was stiff and cold and entirely beyond saving.”
“The effect of your actions has not only been to snuff out the life of this bright, intelligent, talented and vivacious young woman with her whole life before her, but also to wreak misery and heartbreak on her family and friends.”

Mr Justice Garnham jailed Griffiths who pleaded guilty to the murder charges for life with a minimum of 12 years and six months in prison.
26-year-old Financial Analyst and ex-president of Nigerian Economics Students Association in Covenant University, Segun Afolabi has reportedly been murdered.

The deceased was killed at his residence in Gbagada on Monday November 4, by his gateman he helped financially and a neighbour who showed interest in the car he bought about a week ago.
His corpse was wrapped in a duvet, placed in the boot of the new car and dumped in front of Gbagada General hospital by the suspects who drove off thereafter.

The gateman who later sent his wife to Afolabi’s house to steal all his valuables was nabbed alongside his accomplice, after they were flagged down at a police checkpoint in Edo State on Tuesday November 5.
Investigation into the case is still ongoing.
