Karimot, the sister of the late singer Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, has claimed that Wunmi contracted a series of infections from her deceased husband.
She made this revelation in a recent video she shared online, where she heavily criticized the late singer’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, over his demand for a DNA test to confirm that Mohbad is the biological father of his son, Liam.
Karimot asserted that Mohbad’s father is insinuating that Wunmi cheated on her husband, whereas she was the one treating multiple infections she contracted from the deceased singer.
She also dared Mr. Joseph to confidently deny knowledge of Wunmi using different antibiotics to treat the infections contracted from Mohbad.
She also alleged that the late singer lived a promiscuous life and exposed her sister to different sexually transmitted infections.
According to Karimot, the family intentionally chose to keep mute about the dark side of the late singer’s life, but Mr. Joseph is pushing her to speak up.
Regarding the DNA issue, Karimot stated that if required in court, it would be conducted. However, she gave the condition that a DNA test must confirm that Mr. Joseph Aloba is the biological father of Mohbad before one will be conducted on Liam.
She explained that this is due to earlier claims that Mohbad’s mother was unfaithful to his father.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested the popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky.
Confirming his arrest, the spokesperson of the commission, Dele Oyewale, stated that the controversial crossdresser was arrested for the mutilation and abuse of the Nigerian Naira.
Bobrisky reportedly spent the night in a cell at the Lagos command office.
“He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and the abuse of the Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos state,” Oyewale said.
He added that Bobrisky would be charged to court soon.
He asserts that VeryDarkMan spoke a lot of erroneous statements against the Nigerian police and other top standing citizens which landed him into the trouble he is currently in.
He however states that detention can only be for 48 hours unless some bail conditions has not been met.
Barrister Pelumi delving into the Bobrisky issue, informs that cross dressing may be a moral offence but not a legal sin. To this effect, he was quoted,
I have also seen a lot of posts stating that the Police have refused to arrest Bobrisky. Kindly note the following: a. Cross-dressing is not a crime under Nigerian law as of today. Dressing like another sex and even identifying as the same is not ipso facto a crime under Nigerian Law.
What exactly is a crime in Nigeria is the marriage of same-sex couples or registering a gay club. Even when an individual is married as gay in the United Kingdom and his gay partner is living in Nigeria, such marriage is only invalid and unenforceable in Nigeria but not a crime except when they come and live together in Nigeria as a married couple. Therefore, your knowledge that a person is gay does not amount to a crime as such people also have their fundamental rights in law. The only offence in law is marriage sex which must be proved by partners conducting the marriage or living together.
However, a person who openly states in public that he or she is into homosexuality may only at best be arrested for corrupting public morality, which can be contended as subjective.

Popular gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has filed a petition with the Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun against four social media users who defamed him.
The singer, through his legal team, petitioned the police against the suspects for alleging that he fathered the son of fellow gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
In a video circulating online, the lawyers urged the police to urgently address the petition against the four suspects – Okoronkwo Ejike, Kingsley Ibeh, Terrence Ekot, and DJ Spoiltkid.

Viral video of kids performing stunts on a moving truck in Ghana has caused an uproar online with social media users reminiscing about the stunts which they identified as “Aplanke” in their early days.
The little boys were recorded by an unknown person in a moving vehicle behind the truck, which was carrying a shipping container on the main road while they were hanging and changing their stunt styles with the rails of the container.
The video revealed the boys trailing on the road as they held onto the truck for support to perform their stunts; one of the boys laid on the container upturned.

Nigerian actressDoris Ogala has accused a certain clergyman, Pastor Chris Okafor, of attempting to defraud her of N25 million.

Popular Nigerian media personality Daniel Regha has taken to his page on the microblogging platform X to advise beverage companies concerning the way they package their products.
Sharing a picture of a packed juice he tore open, he revealed that he had to cut open the box flaps to get the content he purchased.
In his opinion, how beverage companies package their products makes it difficult for some consumers to the content fully.

Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has penned an open letter addressed to the widow of the deceased Nigerian singer, Wunmi, amid the ongoing DNA saga.
Following Mohbad’s demise, there were requests for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of Liam, the son he left behind.
Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, insisted that the singer would not be reburied until the DNA test was conducted.
However, Wunmi insisted that her father-in-law obtain a court order before the DNA test could be carried out.
She also recently declared that she wouldn’t subject her son to the test because Mohbad never doubted his paternity.
In response to the ongoing controversy, Yomi Fabiyi took to his Instagram page to explain to Wunmi why she might consider the DNA test.
He emphasized that since Liam might inherit his father’s estate, she would need to agree to the test to become a custodian of the estate before Liam comes of age.

I share in your family’s pain in the loss of Mohbad. May God forgive his sins. I am writing you based on the prolonged arguments on the issue of DNA concerning Mohbad’s son and ongoing investigation into the actual cause of his death.
The following reasons are why you can be compelled for a DNA TEST by Mohbad’s family:
i) From the look of things, Mohbad’s death is tilting towards “HOMICIDE” owing to events that happened in the last 48 hours before the singer died. The coroner inquest is an investigation and needs closure before charges.
ii) In a saner cline, those around the deceased, those who tampered with the active crime scenes, are SUSPECTS and should have been taken in for questioning, which include you.
iii) If there is evidence/accusation of infidelity around the time of conception against you or re-occuring domestic violence (and no clear reasons for conflicts), chances are the cause is due to paternity Only a DNA test can vindicate you, dear. It’s your advantage.
iv) if Liam will inherit the late singer’s estate and the likely cause of his murder is within the house, the family as a legally interested party can ask you honourably or through the court to conduct a DNA before you can be allowed custodian of their son’s properties on behalf of LIAM, etc. Moreso, the DNA will help investigators narrow their drag nets. NO ONE SHOULD OBSTRUCT POLICE or CORONER’S INVESTIGATION.
v) Mohbad, in an unverified audio released, equally accused you of wanting to kill him. No one knows if it is the normal couples’ fight or if it was due to any other sensitive issue.
vi) Anything that will bring clarity, absolve you of any wrongdoing, erase suspicion around you, get justice for Mohbad should interest you,including a DNA TEST.
vii) Your continued back and forth is an attempt to infuriate members of the public and pitch irrates youths against the Police and government. No sooner, people will conclude that someone powerful is shielding you. And that person can’t be more powerful than a determined masses.
Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has debunked reports that he was arrested in Uganda after his concert.
The singer, who is currently on a world tour, held successful shows in East African countries Uganda and Kenya. However, rumors emerged that he was picked up by police after his performance on Monday, April 1st.
Reacting to the news, Davido dismissed it as false, and warned that legal action will be taken against peddlers of the false report, despite their claims that it was an ‘April Fools’ joke.
