Head of states, President Muhammadu Buhari today – independence day – charged all Nigerians to change their bad habits so we can all experience the much desired change in Nigeria.
The President stated this in his Independence day broadcast earlier this morning. He’s quoted as saying,
“This change can only be delivered if we are united in purpose, as individuals and as a nation. We must all remain committed to achieving this positive and enduring change. Change does not just happen. We must change our lawless habits, our attitude to public office and public trust… simply put, to bring about change, we must change ourselves by being law-abiding citizens.” he said
Popualar Nigerian businessman, Ismaila Mustapha also known as Mompha recently took delivery of the latest Rolls Royce Wraith Eagle viii 2020 and he claims he’s the first African in the whole world the luxury whip.

A pastor and a masquerade took traders and shoppers by surprise when they went toe-to-toe while evangelizing to traders in a market place.
In the quite hilarious video which was shared online, the masquerade is seen mimicking the pastor’s every move as the traders and shoppers laughed in amusement.

In other news, the City of Living Grace Chapel, in Idu Uruan, Uruan local government area, Akwa Ibom State was reportedly attacked by Ekpo Masquerades who destroyed the church’s properties, beat up some members and stole phones of others.
According to reports, the masquerades who were purportedly grieved that the pastor of the Church, Apostle Emmanuel Etim, had repeatedly preached against the practice of terrorizing the citizens during the Ekpo masquerade festival, were led by a group of touts to attack the Church.
A member of the Church, Ms Mboutidem Sam, in an interview with Daily Trust said the Church was observing a month long fasting and prayer service when the incident happened.
Busola Dakolo, wife of singer, Timi Dakolo, has said she’s still haunted by the damage inflicted on her after COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, allegedly raped her when she was a teenager.
Busola stated this in an application filed before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja to dismiss the preliminary objection filed against the rape case she instituted against Fatoyinbo in June.
The clergyman on September 20th, filed a motion asking the court to strike out the rape case filed against him by Busola on grounds that the allegation is ”incompetent and frivolous”.
Fatoyinbo argued that since the suit wasn’t filed within three years of the occurrence of the event complained about, the suit should be dismissed without the need to hear it as it had become ”Statute barred”, that is, a case that is no longer legally enforceable owing to a prescribed period of limitation having lapsed.
Busola in her repsonse to Fatoyinbo’s application, told the court in a sworn affidavit filed by her counsel, Pelumi Olajengbesi, that the injuries, wrongs and damage done against her by Fatoyinbo continue to haunt her and cause her fresh emotional injury.
“That contrary to paragraph 9(a, g and h) of the applicant’s affidavit, the wrongs, injuries and damage done to her by the applicant (Fatoyinbo) are continuing and that she continues to experience fresh emotional injury from time to time due to the acts of the defendant/applicant,” the counter-affidavit she filed in response to Fatoyinbo’s objection read in part.
Responding to Fatoyinbo’s claim that she released the legal documents of her suit against him to the media, Busola said she never wanted a media coverage adding that the suit was not leaked to the press by her or anyone close to her.
The supporting affidavit read in part,
“That she or anyone acting on her behalf did not give the origination processes of this suit to the press or anybody whatsoever for publication. That she was embarrassed by the several media publications of Monday, September 9, 2019, as relating to the suit as she never wanted any media coverage for the matter and was unpleasantly surprised that same was leaked to the press.”
Busola in June 2019, granted a tell-all interview in which she accused Fatoyinbo of raping her. She has asked him to write a personal apology letter to her showing honest remorse for his action. She has also asked the clergyman to pay the sum of N10 million to her as the cost of prosecuting the case.
Fatoyinbo has since denied the allegation and has accused Busola of trying to extort money from him.
Busty Kenyan-born Ghanaian Model, Pamela Odame shared an interesting detail of her sex life in a recent interview she granted.
Pamela shared that she can go as much as 10 rounds and last for up to 2 hours during sex, but it all depends on who she is sleeping with.
She backed her claim by pointing out that it is normal with every woman and also added that she can last as much as she wants if she enjoys sex with her partner.

Nollywood actress, Sylvia Ukaatu, in a chat with Sunnewsonline has revealed her only regret in life, saying she took a blood oath with a former lover when she was just 18.

“It all started when I was 18 years old. I fell in love, deeply in love. I was so carried away at that tender age. I was lured into taking a blood oath with my then lover.

Sahara Reporters publisher and convener of #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore, has said that “the revolution” in Nigeria will happen whether the government likes it or not.

A Florida man shot dead his wife of 33 years and attempted to commit suicide in front of their two grandchildren a week after he took to Facebook to accuse his wife of cheating.
According to the Daily Mail, Eddie Harris allegedly shot and killed his Wife, Shanica Harris, inside of their Liberty home on Saturday, September 28. The couple had been together since they were 15 and shared five children and multiple grandchildren.
Last week, Harris shared subliminal posts about his wife possibly cheating on him. On the day of the murder, Eddie posted on Facebook that Shanica brought one of her boyfriends to their home.
The two grandchildren, aged 6 and 9, who witnessed their grandmother’s death, were escorted out of the home by Special Response Team members. The children were unharmed. Upon entering the home, investigators found Shanica’s body and Eddie suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after his stand off with police.
Eddie was transported to the Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center for treatment. His condition is currently unclear.
Before her death, Shanica thanked her husband for buying a new silver Mercedes Benz but complained about the color.
With her eyes swollen in tears, Beauty Uguoere Siasia, the mother of a former Super Eagles skipper and coach, Samson Siasia broke down and cried.
“I dont know why they keep kidnapping me. Only God knows,” the 80-year-old woman sobbed as tears dripped down her wrinkled face.
Mama, as she is fondly called, lamented that she had been kidnapped twice saying that her abductors on the two occasions told her that her son, Siasia is a millionaire.
She said after whisking her away to an unknown place, her assailants fed her with garri and bought drugs for her.
Saying that they took care of her, the traumatised woman said there was no time they beat her, adding that sometimes the abductors prepared soup for everybody in their camp.
Narrating the latest incident, she said: I was at my house when they came to kidnap me. They took me to the place. They took care of me.
“I was sick and they bought the drugs. They cooked and gave to me.
“They didn’t beat me. There were days that there was no food. Those days they drank garri and gave me garri to drink too.
“Sometimes, they cooked soup, prepare garri and we ate.
“But on Sunday, they told me we had stayed for too long and they were tired of our problem.
“They carried us on a flying boat and dropped us in a village. I dont know the name of the village.
“The carried us to their chairman place. I don’t even know the man. They called Seifa and Seifa came.
“As I am talking to you, I am not well. Before they took me I was not well. I want to go to the hospital.
“They built small house and use tarpaulin to cover the top. That was where they kept us”.
When she was told that she won’t be kidnapped again, Siasia’s mother quickly said Amen.
But she added: “They keep worrying me because they said my son, Siasia is rich and a millionaire”.
Also one of the victims, who was abducted when he took some undisclosed amount of money to the kidnappers, said on getting to where they directed him, the gunmen surrounded his boat, blindfolded him and took him away.
Relieving his ordeal, he said: “Where they kept us was very bad. I didn’t see anything there and I didn’t recognise anybody because before I got to the place, they blindfolded me.
“But the place was rough. We slept on benches. There was no foam. At times, they fed us with garri and beans.
“We used oil to eat garri. Sometimes, they cooked yellow soup and any how they cooked it you will eat because you want to live.
“I was in a critical condition. They were fond of beating me maybe because I am a man.
‘They would beat me morning, afternoon and night. They would tie me before I sleep.
“Even if mosquitoes were biting me, I couldn’t chase them away. They kept four people to guide me. I suffered a lot”.

There was pandemonium on Friday, 27th September, in Surulere, Lagos, as an Oride operator was beaten to death by some security officers.
According to reports, the security officers accused the deceased of allegedly overtaking them in traffic. .
In the course of assaulting him, they used a material to hit him on the head, which sent him unconscious.
It was further reported that onlookers descended on the officers and nearly beat them to death before forcing them to carry the victim to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Nigerian Activist, Deji Adeyanju has bemoaned his dissatisfaction with Nigerian youths for shying away from several pressing issues in the country.
Deji apologized to President Buhari for attacking him when he said Nigerian youths are lazy, Deji Adeyanju went as far as calling Nigerian youths, the most hopeless youths in the world.
He wrote on Twitter:
‘I want to apologize to President Buhari today for attacking him when he said Nigerian youths are lazy. Nigerian youths are not only lazy, they are the most hopeless youths in the world. They have no future and there’s no hope for them.’

Robert Mugabe was buried in a steel-lined coffin under a layer of concrete on Saturday, September 28th following a dispute over his resting place between government officials, traditional leaders and family members.

Nearly a month after he died, the body of the former leader was finally buried next to his home in Kutama, Zvimba, the village of his birth, 55 miles north west of Harare. His eldest nephew, Leo Mugabe, who played a central role in the prolonged burial drama, said the coffin which brought his embalmed body to Harare from Singapore had to be changed for security reasons.
“People really are after his body or his body parts, so we wanted something that is tamper-proof. That is why the casket was changed,” he said.
After the coffin was lowered into the ground in a private ceremony close to the home which Grace Mugabe had built after their marriage, concrete was laid down around it. Mugabe’s family claimed that this was the burial place he had ultimately wanted and had spoken of in the last six months of his life in Singapore, angry that he had been ousted from power two years ago by his long-time ally, President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Mrs Mugabe, 54, draped in heavy black lace for more than three weeks, had made it clear to all who would listen that President Mnangagwa and his loyalists were not welcome at the burial
Crucially, it would also have meant him being buried next to his first wife, Sally Mugabe, still regarded by many as the “mother” of the Zimbabwean nation.
