Different reactions have trailed a video that captured popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie celebrating Valentine’s Day by sharing a bottle of beer with Judy Austin.

The actor-turned-pastor had shared the video on his Instagram page in a bid to wish his fans and colleagues a happy Valentine’s Day.

The video captured the duo taking a sip out of the cup containing some beer, which was earlier poured out by Judy.

While they took turns in sipping the drink and hyping themselves up, Yul admonished internet users to spread love today and kill hate with love.

He said;

“Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone out there, Val is a wonderful day, it’s a day of love it’s a day to spread love, peace, and joy. Let’s kill hate with love.”

The video however generated different reactions, with the majority criticizing him for drinking alcohol despite his new profession.

A Nigerian lady has gone viral on social media after she was spotted rocking a mermaid costume for her birthday photo shoot session.

The viral clip shows the lady wearing a sky blue sequence attire, which was styled as a tube to cover her boobs and the lower body was designed in a mermaid style. The sequence attire was shaped like a fish tail.

The lady was spotted striking different poses in the studio with her mermaid costume. She was recorded laying on the floor while she stroke a mermaid-like pose. Apparently, the pictures was taken for a birthday photoshoot.

Revealing in the video, her friends who uploaded her picture tagged her to be an Ijebu mermaid, claiming she hailed from Ogun state, Nigeria.

The viral video has captured the netizens attention on social media, who condemned her choice of dressing for a birthday photoshoot and also believed she could be a member of the water bodies.

Popular Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Deyemi Okanlawon shared in a recent interview, that he has never won any important award recognition in Nigeria.

In an interview with HipTV, the actor revealed he has been in the entertainment industry for a very long time but he is not the kind of person to question why he hasn’t won the award.

According to Deyemi, he is familiar with motivating himself by recognizing his achievement and congratulating himself by looking into his mirror. He noted that he has being doing for a very long time.

The actor mentioned if validation or recognition comes from anywhere in the entertainment industry, he accepts it. He had to learn to take compliments instead of deflecting it, not receiving important award in the industry shouldn’t define you.

He also added his presence should validate an award and not the award validating his presence. He acknowledged himself for doing a good job in the industry citing the popular phrase of skitmaker, Mr. Macaroni “You are doing well”

The couples were strolling at the mall when one of the men went down on both knees to ask his lover to be his wife, and she said YES without hesitation.

While the first couple were still reveling in their engagement, the second man went on one knee to propose to his much older girlfriend.

Surprisingly, she accepted his proposal, and he slipped the ring onto her finger, after which they shared a kiss on the lips.

Popular Nigerian thespian Adebowale Debo Adebayo known professionally as Mr Macaroni has reacted to the viral video of singer Davido’s aide slapping a fan.

Taking to his page on the microblogging platform X, he condemned the act pleading with his colleagues to do better.

Recall that a video had surfaced online capturing one of Davido’s aides, Latidmw assaulting two of the singer’s fans while they were trying to get a moment with him.

After condemning the act, Mr Macaroni also urged fans to learn to seek permission from Celebrities when they want to take pictures with them.

A Nigerian man who identifies as @MichealAkan has shared on the microblogging platform X, how his brother went missing for two years only to return home one day.

He revealed that his brother was kidnapped and taken to a remote village where he was used as a fishing slave.

His tweet read;

“A lot of people have messaged me about this so I’ll make a little thread to explain some things. Sometime in 2007, my younger brother who was staying with an aunt in Uyo at the time left home and didn’t return. Apparently leaving home whenever he felt he was being maltreatment was a normal behavior for him. We didn’t know about any of this at the time. My aunt said he always came back the same day but this time around, he didn’t come back for almost a week before she alerted us. This tore the whole extended family apart in ways that I can’t describe it was very traumatic. We went to lengths I didn’t think my father would ever agree to just to find him. The ones who went to church did, the ones who went to other places did and they all always came back to say that they were told that he’s still alive so I think in a way, that gave us a little bit of hope but I could see my father withering away even though he tried really hard to conceal it. After a year, we were talking about ways to move on because it felt like he was never going to be found. Then one day, he just appeared looking like a ghost. Apparently, he was kidnapped and taken to a remote village where he was used as a fishing slave. He had no idea of who he was or where he came from or even where he was. He said there were other young boys there too none of them could tell who they were either. They were taken out to the sea to start fishing as early as 4 am and when they return, they’ll start smoking the fishes in and fill them in lots of baskets to be sold. He said it didn’t feel like he was in Nigeria that it felt like a neighboring African country. Then one day, while he was on the sea, he somehow regained consciousness of who he was and became aware of his surroundings. He started plotting his escape silently for a while and when he had the chance, he took it it took a long while before things normalized. We were very happy for his return but also kinda scared. We didn’t know how to just carry on like nothing happened. It was as if he was a stranger for a while. But after a while, things normalized.”

A Nigerian man who was earlier declared missing by his colleagues and family members has regained his freedom and come online to share his encounter with his abductors.

Sharing via his page on X(Twitter) @t0bywood revealed that he had no idea how long he was gone, while at the kidnapper’s den.

His tweets read;

“On Wednesday afternoon, I left my house to get materials for work at Mushin. When I got to Oshodi, I decided to go to Ikeja first to fix my phone’s charging port issue which I’ve been procrastinating to repair for a while. I entered a bus (korope) at Oshodi going to Ikeja people were also in the bus but few minutes later I noticed I was weak. I thought I was hungry because I haven’t had anything to eat all day. That was the end. Next thing I woke up tied and covered with a cloth covering my face, I heard people’s voices around, I don’t know how many people were there with me because my face was covered. We were taken one by one to another room where they had access to our phones and we were taken back to the initial room. I noticed people were taken one by one again out of the room but nobody was brought back in this time. I was really scared at this point point because I thought this was the end. They took me too and I felt the same weakness I felt in the bus. Next thing I woke up in the middle of nowhere with bloods on my clothes and few cuts on my body, God lead me out to a house and I met an old woman. I hardly understood her but she saw my condition and she gave me water to drink and slippers to wear and showed me the way to the road. I didn’t have any idea I was gone for this long because my face was covered throughout the time I was abducted. I also didn’t have any idea what time was. I stopped the first person I saw and he help me and told me I was in Ogun state. He helped me find my way to Lagos and I entered a bus going to Oshodi. A stranger helped me pay for my transport and gave me some money too because I explained everything to him. I made a call too to a number I could remember but it didn’t go through. I slept through out the journey and when I got to Oshodi I knew I was safe already. I entered a bus to go Ikorodu and dropped at agric where I got something to eat out of the money the stranger gave me. I took a bike home and I was told got home around 12 am.”

A Nigerian female student shocked netizens online with her cooking skills after she shared the tasty moi moi, she cooked in her hostel.

The student identified as @Lois.sugarr on TikTok narrated how she prepared the popular meal and also revealed the outcome of the meal which eventually resemble Amala (Yam Flour).

According to her, that was her first time cooking moi moi in school. She didn’t peel her beans because she had no strength for the long peeling process, hence, she blended the beans with the peel and pepper. She proceeded to boiling her eggs together with fish.

The female student went further to season the mix, pour it into nylon and distributed it into two pots to cooked faster since she doesn’t own a big pot in school.

She revealed the outcome of the meal which was watery after the nylon had spilled open in the boiling water. The moi moi had a similar resembles to either Amala or the local pap. She stated her room mates joined her in eating the watery moi moi as she couldn’t eat it alone.

The Nigerian student have surprised Internet users with her cooking skills after she revealed the procedure and outcome of the moi moi she prepared.

Popular Nigerian actor and evangelist, Mike Bamiloye, has taken to social media to warn single folks celebrating Valentine’s Day against engaging in sexual immorality.

The filmmaker cautioned that some people will engage in sexual relations with ghosts and spirits from demonic kingdoms who are after the souls of unsuspecting men and women.

According to him, some people will pollute their destinies and fortunes on the bed of fornication, while others will wake up empty and hollow after a night of pleasure.

In a follow-up post, Mike Bamiloye emphasized that the only lawful sex that will happen tonight is between legally married couples.

The opinion of a catholic priest regarding those who seek to get married but wait for approval from their pastors has stirred different reactions online.

The Nigerian Catholic priest who identifies as @Fada Angelo Chidi Unegbu tagged such people as immature.

The priest who shared this on his Facebook page believes that couples who intend to get married do what need their pastor’s approval to tie the knot.

Further advising does that rely on their pastor’s approval before getting married to enroll in a kindergarten.

He wrote;

“If you are among those waiting for the ‘man of God’ to approve their marriage before they can marry, you should go and get enrolled in a kindergarten. You are not yet mature enough to be a parent.”,
