Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, has disclosed that she occasionally cries when recording a song.
The “Try Me” crooner admitted to crying because some of the songs she records are “very personal” to her in an interview with Billboard.
The 28-year-old singer, who is nominated for a Grammy, claims that nearly all of the music she has released was produced through freestyles.
“I cried while making some of my songs because they’re very personal to me,” Tems said.
Speaking on where she gets her inspiration, she said; “What inspires me most is the season that I am in in life coupled with music that I’ve heard, people that I love; Frank Ocean, Asa, Sade, those are the people that inspired me, and helped me in my creative process.”

Nigerian pastor and relationship coach Kingsley Okonkwo has advised ladies via his page on the microblogging platform X, to stay away from men who claim to be alpha males.
According to the coach, men who claim to be alpha males are usually toxic, narcissist, and insecure to top it all up.

In a surprising turn of events, upcoming artist Young Duu has made a shocking accusations about comedian-turned-artist Carter Efe.
According to Young Duu,Carter Efe allegedly created fake social media accounts using his name to target and troll popular musician Davido.
The duo’s association began after Young Duu had a clash with Portable last year.
Seeking a fresh start, they formed a partnership and even released a song titled “Oyinmo” in November, which was meant to solidify their collaboration.

A South African make up artist has taken to social media to share her reaction after her 19 year old daughter conceived a baby boy without her knowledge.

A Nigerian lawyer by name Pelumi Olajengbesi, has shared on his Facebook wall his thoughts on the Bobrisky’s viral buzz, VeryDarkMan’s arrest and the position of the constitutional law in it.

Even when an individual is married as gay in the United Kingdom and his gay partner is living in Nigeria, such marriage is only invalid and unenforceable in Nigeria but not a crime except when they come and live together in Nigeria as a married couple. Therefore, your knowledge that a person is gay does not amount to a crime as such people also have their fundamental rights in law. The only offence in law is marriage sex which must be proved by partners conducting the marriage or living together.
However, a person who openly states in public that he or she is into homosexuality may only at best be arrested for corrupting public morality, which can be contended as subjective.

Yoruba Nollywood actress, Eniola Ajao has addressed concerns expressed over the choice to name socialite, Bobrisky, the “Best Dressed Female” at the “Ajakaju” film premiere.
Ajao explained in a recent interview with Arise TV that while it was intended to be a humorous promotional ploy for the film, it appeared to have gone too far.
The goal, according to the filmmaker, was to get people talking about the movie, which was accomplished. However, when actor Femi Adebayo presented the award to Bobrisky, netizens took offence and called him out, even though he was not a judge.
She explained;
“It was all jokes. We just want to have fun. We want people to talk about the movie. My team and I decided that it needed to be in the faces of people. So we decided to give the Best Dressed Female award to Bobrisky since he has always been a very controversial person.
At the end of the day, people started talking about it but some people are not happy. They started calling out Femi Adebayo who presented the award. He just presented it, it wasn’t his idea, he was not part of the judges. Nigerians shouldn’t slam him, please.”
A Nigerian lady has shared via the microblogging platform X how the EFCC stormed their church to arrest a lady in connection to sex trafficking.
Sharing in multiple tweets she revealed that the lady ran a WhatsApp group where close to 500 men bid for a woman.
The lady who believed that parents have s long way to go while training their kids said the arrested chorister had millions of naira in her bank account.
The tweep also claimed that no one had an idea that the lady who was apprehended had something like that going on.

Meanwhile, the pastor heading the prayer session from the altar was not seen pounding his enemies with a mortar and pestle; church workers including the choristers and assistant pastor were recorded pounding on the altar except the church pastor.

Nollywood actorBrowny Igboegwu is in a celebratory mood after meeting his daughter for the first time since her birth in Canada.
Taking to his Instagram page to share his joy, Browny disclosed that he couldn’t travel to meet his daughter, whom he and his wife waited 10 years to have, due to some immigration constraints.

Viral video of a Ghanaian mother, who subjected her underage daughter to a severe punishment for being disrespectful to elderly people has left netizens dumbfounded.
The video shared on the microblogging platform, X, captured the girl’s mother speaking angrily to her in the Ghanaian local dialect. The Ghanaian mother’s voice could be heard in the background as she gives warning to her daughter.
Revealing in the video, the mother subjected her to a harsh punishment by forcing her to carry a heavy cement block while kneeling in salt. The underage daughter was recorded crying and pleading with her mother while she struggled with the heavy cement block above her head.
According to the Ghanaian mother, she was punishing her daughter for consistently being disrespectful and disobedient to the elderly people in the house.

A Nigerian lady who identifies as @chiomaang3l has called out Nigerian singer Majeed over a breach of agreement.
Sharing what transpired between her and the singer, she shared that he blocked her on all social platforms after she left his home.
The lady started by sharing that Majeed promised to give her some money if she had sex with him but ghosted her after.
Sharing screenshots of their conversation, she revealed that the amount they agreed on was 2 million naira but the singer didn’t give her anything.
