Popular Nollywood thespian, Yetunde Bakare has stated that she has never been asked the hot topic of what a woman brings to the table in a relationship by a man.

The attractive actress said that since it’s not a common query, no one has asked it of her. Still, she thinks that guys who ask it are usually not interested in a long-term relationship with the lady.

In a recent interview, Yetunde made the claim, pointing out that the man may have recognised that lacking purpose and forethought via observation. According to the actor, it’s probably just a pretext for him to let her go.

Different reactions have trailed a clip that was shared on TikTok where a lady showed off the interior space of the restroom of a hotel where she had lodged.

While showing other spaces in her hotel room, she shared that the basin was the only thing she had an issue with.

The washing hand basin, which was recorded in the clip was a ceramic sink with a snake print on it.

The lady who expected to see a white sink like all of the other bathroom interiors, was shocked when she came across the sink with snake prints.

She revealed that she had lodged into the hotel in Ogun state, after traveling for a long time and arriving at her destination late.

After speaking to the manager, who claimed the sink was just a design they agreed to provide her with another room where she spent the night.

Nigerian singer, Joshua Iniyezo professionally known as Solid Star has opened up about drug addiction, sharing how the hard substance affected his mental health.

Speaking in an interview with The Honest Bunch Podcast on the episode of the Dangers of Addiction, the singer open up about battling mental illness after he was introduced to hard substances.

Recounting on his experience, the singer revealed how he trekked from Awoyaya, a part of Lagos mainland to the Oriental Hotel on the Lagos Island, a journey of several hours.

He disclosed that young boys introduced him to the substance called “Ice” in 2021. He stated from that moment, he has been battling with mental illness which has really affected his lifestyle and career.

In his words,

“A lot of things happened to me o, young young boys come introduce me to this substance, Ice, this was three years back. This thing really do bad, asin the thing affect me a lot. This substance now, sometimes the thing go tell me say ‘you’re a king, you’re this, you’re that.’ E go tell me say I don be king, make I no dey pay stuff. Can you imagine say I waka from Awoyaya to Oriental Hotel!”

The singer noted that the hard substance causes him to hallucinate whenever he consumes it, hence, he believes there was no need paying to get more of the substance because he sees himself as a king.

The former Mavin Records signee stated that musicians look for recognition like this to help them further their trade.

In a recent interview, the Godwin hitmaker made this statement in response to a question on whether Nigerian musicians should rely on international events like the Grammy Awards for recognition.

According to Korede, incentives for excellent music are preferable to accolades, and they might take the form of financial gains or successful commercial releases.

He said; “There is a common pidgin saying that can loosely be translated to mean, ‘it is where one works that one will eat’. Part of the things we ‘eat’ as artistes is validation for our art. Validation for making great art is good. And, that can be very inspirational for others to make better art.

When an artiste makes it to the nomination list of a prestigious award, they are already winners in my opinion. Every other thing is subjective. However, I believe in rewards over awards.

Rewards can come in the form of commercial success or returns on investment. That way, one knows that the quality of what one puts in is what will determine what one will get. Awards are good, but knowing that one’s art makes many people happy is a better feeling.”

He had purchased breakfast from an online store through the Glovo app but what he received was not what he was expecting.

Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has characterized her voice as strikingly distinctive noting that it’s what listeners notice about her music right away.

In a lengthy tweet on the microblogging platorm, X, she made this statement in response to fans who suggested she modify the tone and style of her music.

Simi explained that some people love her songs more than her voice because although she is a fantastic songwriter, they think her voice is too piercing.

She wrote;

“I know some of you honestly struggle and don’t know why, so let me help you. My voice is so, so incredibly distinct. It’s in your face. It’s beautiful and sweet and soft, but it can be piercing and in your face. It doesn’t melt and get lost in a beat like most voices do. So regardless of what style or tempo of music I’m singing on, the first thing you’ll notice about my song is my voice. Not the beat. This is what the majority of people love the most about me – the piercing nature of my voice.

So they love everything I sing on. Some people love my songs more than my voice, because let’s face it, I’m a fantastic songwriter…but for them, my voice is too piercing sometimes and gets in the way. For some, because of how my voice stands out, it sounds like they’re hearing the same kind of music – even when they’re listening to me sing 5 diff genres back to back.

That’s why my features work for many of you (you probably didn’t even know that). The balance of someone else’s voice can distract you and then when you hear my voice again, you have space to love it. I know my voice. It is my super power, but that power has its consequence. I accept it.

A Nigerian lady has been left in shock after a dispatch rider who was hired to deliver a meal to her, ate half of the food.

Sharing a video of when she picked up the meal from the rider and the content in the container she revealed that what she saw shocked her.

According to her, she has heard several cases where dispatch riders ate people’s food but she didn’t believe that they were real.

She revealed via the caption attached to the video, that the rider who ate half of the meal also left half of the serviette paper for her.

“I’ve been hearing people complain about having their food shortened by dispatch riders I never believed it until it happened to me. He even tore the serviette, used half of it, and kept half for me”
