Regina Daniels‘ husband, Ned Nwoko, has been sacked by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The court in a decision on Thursday said the case instituted at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court which resulted in the recognition of Mr Nwoko as the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission was wrongly filed.
The appellate court ruled that the matter ought to have been brought at the lower court before the expiration of 14 days from the time of the incidence that birthed the suit.
It further ruled that the failure of the applicant at the lower court to file the case before the expiration of 14 days meant that the case had become statute barred and the lower court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the matter in the first place.
“As at the time the matter was instituted at the Federal High Court, the case was statute barred. We set aside the decision of the Federal High Court and strike out the case,” the court ruled.
INEC had withdrawn the certificate of return it issued to Mr Nwoko’s contender Peter Nwaoboshi, following the FHC decision.
With the appeal court decision, Mr Nwaoboshi will now be recognised as the senator-elect for the district.
Messrs Nwoko and Nwaoboshi are both of the PDP and had contested for the ticket of the party in the primaries. The PDP later won the senatorial election in the district with Mr Nwaoboshi as its candidate.
After the initial high court ruling, INEC withdrew the certificate issued to Mr Nwaoboshi and presented same to Mr Nwoko; a decision that would now be reversed based on the appeal court ruling.

Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has arrived court for his bail hearing today, May 30th, 2019 – the singer who is spotted in a black outfit, arrived the court to hear his fate following the charges which were hit against him and he plead not guilty of.

It should be recalled that the rapper was arraigned on 11-count charges, bordering on fraudulent activities and money laundering by the EFCC.
Some of the counts in the charges filed against Naira Marley includes,
“That you, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, aka Naira Marley, and Raze (still at large), on or about the 11th day of December 2018, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, conspired amongst yourselves to use Access card 42658840359191132 issued to persons other than you in a bid to obtain gain and you thereby committed an offense contrary to Section 27(1)(b) of the Cyber Crimes (Prohibition, Prevention etc) Act 2015 and punishable under Section 33(2) of the Same Act.
“That you, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, aka Naira Marley, and Raze (still at large), on or about the 10th day of May 2019, within the jurisdiction of this honorable court, with intent to defraud possessed, counterfeit card 4921819410257431 issued to Timea Fedorne Tatar and you thereby committed an offense contrary to and punishable under Section 33(9) of Cyber Crimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc) Act 2015.”
Veteran rapper, Ruggedman has once again talked about the current Naira Marley’s case.
The singer has a court hearing today, Thursday, 30 May, 2019.
Ruggedybaba, as he’s fondly called has been accused severally of being the facilitator of the singer’s arrest by the commission. One of his accuser is controversial self-acclaimed investigative journalist, Kemi Olulonyo.
The Veteran rapper has however denied such claims with several statements he’s released in the past.
Ruggedman says he knows nothing whatsoever and its ludicrous to finger him as the facilitator of the singer’s arrest.
To yet again downplay these stories of his ‘involvement’ in how Marley got arrested, the rapper has yet again released another video to this effect. He expresses regrets over the comments he’s made in the past.
Ruggedybaba said if he knew the matter would get so serious the way it has gotten, he would have not made such statements. He also apologized for the comment.
A rather concerned troll apprised singer, Dencia of the consequences of her skin bleaching which she says is cancer – the advise came after the singer shared lovely photos showing off her summer body.

Ghanaian Actor, Chris Attoh is now a prime suspect of the gruesome murder of his wife and he is being investigated.
This comes after a sketch of the suspected shooter was released by the Police. George Matthews, a spokesman for the police agency in the Washington, D.C. has revealed that Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh is a suspect and is being investigated in the murder of his wife, Bettie Jenifer, 44.
He revealed that police are particularly investigating a tweet from Chris Attoh hours before the death of the woman who was shot by a gunman.

Popular Brazilian singer, Gabriel Diniz, 28, who was one of Brazil’s most successful pop stars, has died in a plane crash.
The plane took off from the city of Salvador in Bahia state on Monday 27 May, bound for Maceió in the east coast, but it crashed due to bad weather in the town of Porto do Mato, Estância, in the state of Sergipe, Brazil.
Diniz was killed along with two pilots, Linaldo Xavier, and Abraão Farias. The star had reportedly been travelling to meet his girlfriend to celebrate her birthday.
‘It is with great pain that we can confirm the death of Gabriel Diniz and the plane’s crew,’ Gabriel’s representatives confirmed to Us Magazine.
Brazilian media reported that the Piper PA-28 Cherokee was deemed airworthy, but was not licensed for air taxi trips such as the one Diniz was apparently making. It was instead only meant to be used for flight training.
But Diniz’s father slammed the report and said Diniz had booked and paid for the flight, and had not caught a free ride as some of his friends had claimed.
Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) is reported to be investigating the crash, and has suspended the Aeroclube de Alagoas which operated the aircraft.
Diniz built up his music career while also working as an electrical engineer. He grew a huge following in Brazil, particularly in the wake of his 2018 hit, Jenifer, which has 237m views on YouTube.
His final Instagram post was following a concert in Feira de Santana, Brazil.
“Always a joy to return to Feira de Santana and be greeted with such joy and with so much positive energy. Thank you for the kindness…until next time God willing” he wrote.

A Nigerian journalist, Sam Anokam has taken to social media to narrate how his pastor friend committed suicide, leaving behind two kids and a wife.
According to Sam Anoakam, his pastor friend committed suicide by drinking 2 containers of Sniper due to depression.
He wrote;
This is a sad one for me.The picture here is that of my dear friend and classmate in secondary school, Seun Adedutan. As preparations were on-going yesterday for change to another administration at all levels of government for today, Seun my friend was preparing to meet his maker. He ended his life yesterday afternoon after emptying two containers of the dreaded SNIPER! His cold body is in the mortuary. He left behind a wonderful wife and his two dotting kids.
Depression is real! What we are still trying to unravel is that Seun who we call pastor does not drink, womanize or lust after money; what could have happened? As a strong Christian who others run to for counseling, what could have happened? Life belongs to God.
As one of his brother’s said, despite the economic hardship, people are no longer encouraging one another. Government is aloof to the plight of the people. Who do we turn to? Our churches are now business centres. They no longer preach hope but vanity. They should stop all these crappy teaching of pretending to be rich when you are poor; you are sick, they will tell you to pretend to be strong, all is well bullshit, etc. If a strong Christian like Seun can end his life by himself, wherein lies the hope of norminal believers?

An Ethiopian Airlines aircraft experienced difficulties while attempting to land at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, but there was no threat to the lives of its over 393 passengers which included Nigeria’s former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
OBJ as he’s fondly called, was returning from a conference in Addis Ababa when the Ethiopian Airlines plane he boarded found it difficult to land at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos due to rainfall.
Speaking in an interview with Premiumtimes, the former president recounted his experience when he was aboard the aircraft.
He said ;
”I was on Ethiopian Airline. Rain just came down heavily. The pilot thought he could land. And he landed. He touched down. But I think he took a swift decision that he had to take off again. So he took off. If he did not, I think he probably would have overrun the runway. He then apologised and said he would try to land again. He tried again, and we landed safely. And we all clapped.
He touched the ground. Then he took off and apologised and landed again at about 12.30. We spent just about 10 minutes in the air before we landed again.
While it all happened, I was reading my papers. One man, who was next to me, said, ‘Oga you no worry?’ I said, ‘Íf I worry, what will I do? If you are on a plane and you have a situation like this, why should you worry?’ I left everything in the hands of God”.

It is unarguably true that Bobrisky is very smart and knows her onion really well especially when it comes to social media frenzy as even though she is always appearing in the media, there’s still more undisclosed and yet to be unraveled about her mysterious nature.
Also, Bobrisky’s feminine nature and frequent talks about having a mysterious male lover which she has often referred to as ‘bae’ has led many to conclude that Bobrisky is gay, an accusation that she has denied so many times in the media.
But even with all this, many seem to think that Bobrisky is just making things up to stay relevant in the media. In fact a certain popular Instagram influencer recently claimed that Bobrisky is using her ‘antics’ to deceive women just to get under their pants. Hilarious right? The believe that gay men are not real men and that they are all effeminate and are interested in ‘girly’ things is just a stereotype conceived by ignorant folks who know absolutely nothing about homosexuality. Truth is, not all gay men are interested in girly stuff.
Wearing feminine-looking clothing doesn’t make one gay. Homosexuality is a sexual orientation which has to do with being emotionally, sexually/or romantically attracted to people of the same-sex. This means that merely wanting to be sexual with someone of the same-sex doesn’t make one gay.
Also, sex and gender are two different things. A person can be assigned male at birth (sex) but doesn’t identify as one. Bobby was assigned male at birth but now does not only identify as a woman (gender) but lives her life as a woman. She has also come out openly to tell the public that she is a woman and so wishes to be seen and addressed as such.
Bobrisky identifies as a different gender.
As addressed above, dressing up occasionally to portray a different gender doesn’t make one gay or transgender. Men who dress as the opposite sex are referred to as transvestite, and anyone who does this is generally considered a cross-dresser. Yes Bobby might have in the past claimed to have indulged in the practice to promote her cosmetic products, but has now come to clarify things that she isn’t a cross-dresser but a transwoman and so wishes to be seen and respected as such. This is not negotiable.
Bobrisky hasn’t disclosed her sexual orientation.
People should stop seeing/addressing transwomen as gay. Their gender does not define their sexual orientation. Transwomen are women who were assigned male at birth. Bobrisky is a woman, and to the very best of what we know, she has never said that she is sexually, emotionally and romantically attracted to other women and so therefore cannot be labeled gay.
This might be somewhat hard for many to take in, but just because a person hasn’t undergone a Sex- Re-assignment surgery (SRS) doesn’t mean that they cannot be respected as the gender that they identify with.
We need to know that gender is a social construct while sex i.e. male, female or intersex is biological.
Most people need time to fully discover who they truly are, and same applies here to Bobrisky who after some time has recently come out to the public to declare her true gender, but not her sexual orientation.
So given all this, it will be completely foolish for anyone to still think that Bobrisky is gay.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has poured encomiums on his lovely wife, Dolapo Osinbajo for standing by him through his first term in office.
As he assumed office for a second term today, May 29th, the Vice President shared a photo of his wife and himself on his Twitter handle and thanked her for being a solid support system throughout his first term.

Embattled Relationship Blogger, Blessing Okoro has claimed that Onye Eze, the real owner of the house which she claimed she built on her birthday sent his boys to arrest her and not the Police.
Blessing Okoro claims Onye Eze called her to invite her to his house, she had no idea what was going to happen there but on getting there, his boys arrested her and handcuffed her. She says no Police officer did that to her but his boys.

The national chairman of the All Progressive Congress political party, Adams Oshiomhole was chased away by a security personnel for breaching protocol at the Presidential inauguration in Abuja today.
The former Governor of Edo State was filmed standing next to the acting chief judge of Nigeria and other security personnel as they waited for the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice Yemi Osinbajo. However, a military official went to speak with Oshiomole and soon after escorted him from where he was standing as he was not meant to be there.
Wife of Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels, seems to have just introduced her ‘rumored ex-boyfriend’ Somadina Adichie to her Billionaire Husband, Nwoko.
The introduction happened during a lunch which was hosted by the couple to entertain some celebrities and guest who were in Asaba, Delta state for their wedding.
In one of the photo, Daniels could be seen ushering her husband, taking him around to where the actors are seated.
Ned was also spotted in one of the photo shaking Soma’s hand, and the duo could be seen exchanging pleasantries.
Regina Daniels traditional wedding held yesterday, 28th of May 2019, in Delta State and her elaborate ‘White Wedding’ to Ned Nwoko is slated for this weekend.

A Ghanaian man has attempted to commit suicide because he was dumped by girlfriend.
The young man identified as Gee was in the process of committing suicide when his friends barge into him.
Gee reportedly locked himself in his room and was not responding to any calls from anyone. His friends who knew his predicament could not take it any more.
They broke into the room only to see Gee holding a poison and weeping. They took the poison from him and saved his life
That was when they even realized he has written a suicide note blaming the girl who dumped him for all that he is going through.
