Some young Nigerian guys have taken to artiste, Ruggedman’s page to threaten him with death after he spoke out against internet fraud and condemned detained rapper, Naira Marley for defending it.
Not long after Naira Marley made a case for internet fraudsters (Yahoo Yahoo boys), he was apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The report had some young Nigerians think that Ruggedman is responsible for his arrest and so, they now are dubbing him a “snitch” and threatening to deal with him if he sets foot in certain places.
Some even went as far as wishing death on him and laying curses on his generation.
Ruggedman also apologized for the arrest of Naira Marley in a lengthy Instagram post, he got support from a number of his fellow celebrities as they told him he did nothing wrong and has no reason to apologize.

Controversial and investigative Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has reacted to a viral video in which actress Iyabo Ojo cried while thanking God for seeing her through the struggles of single parenthood.
In the video, the actress reflects on how sad she felt when her husband told her he only got married to her because she got pregnant for him. She also revealed how they struggled being broke before she finally walked out of the marriage.

Twin sons of Uganda’s State Water Minister, Ronald Kibuule drowned in the family swimming pool at their home this past Monday.
The exact circumstances behind the drowning of the twins identified as Roman Kato and Raiding Wasswa, remain unclear as CCTV cameras were off although the children were in the care of two male minders, the Daily monitor reported.
Police who responded to distress calls from the family and well-wishers took the two male domestic servants into custody for questioning. They also retrieved the corpses and took them for embalming at the City Mortuary in Mulago, Kampala.
“Yes, they drowned in the swimming pool, but we do not know what exactly happened because at the time of the incident the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras were off,” said Mr Davis Lukyamuzi, an uncle of the minister.
Both Mr Kibuule and his wife, Fortunate, were away. The guards at the palatial home said the kids were playing on the expansive compound and in the care of two male minders when they drowned.
One of the guards, speaking on condition of anonymity in order not to jeopardise ongoing investigations, said they were unaware about the presumed freak fatal accident until one of the minders yelled that “we are dead; the kids have drowned”.
Minister Kibuule was at the time of the incident reported to be in Kampala while his wife, Fortunate, had reportedly driven to pay workers at a construction site in Namataba, which is a few kilometres from home.
They returned home in haste, and were visibly overcome by emotion and unable to speak on the tragedy.
Hundreds of mourners, many wailing loudly, milled on the compound and dozens trudged with hurried steps to the home located in Mbalala.
Detectives, according to reports, will seek to establish whether the surveillance cameras had malfunctioned prior or failed only on the fateful day.
They will also try to establish if the kids’ drowning was an accident or involved foul play.
President Museveni as well as Mr Rebecca Kadaga, the speaker of Parliament, telephoned to condole with the bereaved family, according Mr Lukyamuzi.

Davido has reacted after he was sorta called out by friends of recently detained rapper, Zlatan Ibile after his release from EFCC custody for alleged cyber fraud.
When the news of his release hit the wed, it was widely reported that Davido was the one who hired a Senior Advocate Of Nigeria to represent Zlatan, Naira Marley and three others who were arrested.
The singer was also quick to congratulate him upon his release adding “love you bro”.

Nollywood actor, Ime Bishop Umoh popularly known as Okon Lagos took to his Instagram page to defend the policemen charged with “Forceful intercourse” with commercial s3x workers, in Abuja.
In a video he posted on his page, he said he has been seeing some ladies protesting and reacting, saying that some policemen r@ped some Prost!tutes.
He says it is a wrong allegation because r@pe is taking away someone’s dignity.
According to Okon Lagos, Ashawo no get pride or dignity, hence the charge should not be r@pe but it should be termed as stealing.
In Okon’s view, the Police men were only stealing the ladies’s products and merchandise.

Michael Arowosaiye, a gospel minister of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has allegedly committed suicide.
According to his friend, the incident happened around 4pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Sunnyvale Estate. The deceased allegedly hanged himself with his belt.
It was gathered that Michael, who recently ministered during a Youth Praise event at the church, entered into depression over his accommodation issues before taking the drastic step.

In another report of a case of depression leading to suicide, a 17-year-old lad, Amos Ibrahim has taken his own life in Jos, the Plateau state capital, by consuming a deadly insecticide.
According to reports trailing his death, the young man took Sniper after failing the 2019 Joint admissions and matriculation exams which he wrote at Aptech center in Sangotedo, Lagos.
He was last seen online on WhatsApp at around 10pm on Tuesday night. A brief story leading to his suicide is shared below,
The Economic Financial Crimes Commision, EFCC has finally reacted to the release of Zlatan Ibile and three others, while Naira Marley remains in custody.
EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade confirmed to Premium Times that three suspects were released on administrative bail, while the fourth suspect, Naira Marley still remains in custody.
“There is overwhelming evidence against Naira Marley; so we can’t afford to release him on administrative bail like Zlatan and the three others.
“That Zlatan has been released does not mean they have been discharged and acquitted. Naira Marley is still in our custody and will be charged to court soon and we will make the charges known in an official statement soon.”
It has also been reported that Davido facilitated Zlatan’s release by allegedly hiring a Senior Advocate of Nigeria who helped in securing the bail of the singer.
The EFCC, however, said such report is not true.
Zlatan was released alongside his crew members, Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa.
Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael (aka Zlatan), launched his career in 2017. He is best known for his hit song, “My Body” and the “Shaku Shaku” dance step. He became famous in January 2019, after he featured on Davido’s song titled ‘bum bum’.
Naira Marley, on the other hand, is controversial for repeatedly praising internet fraudsters, popularly called Yahoo boys, in his songs and on social media.
The EFCC last year launched Operation Cyber Storm to curb the activities of internet fraudsters.
Over 150 suspects have been reportedly arrested across the country.
Evangelist and son of Christian movie maker, Mike Bamiloye, Joshua Bamiloye fired back at a lady who mocked his dad after he shared a tweet which criticizes the series Lucifer.

According to Aremo Gucci, Davido played no role in the release of rapper, Zlatan Ibile from EFCC’s custody but he has been receiving all the credit.
Shortly after Zlatan was released, news made rounds that Davido was behind it and that he hired some Senior Advocates to help secure the rapper’s release.
However, Aremo Gucci, a close ally of Zlatan, in a video said the release was secured through the help of Olamide and Burna Boy and no one else.

A 41-year-old tailor, Monday Udor, on Tuesday, appeared in an Ajegunle Magistrates’ Court for allegedly damaging a customer’s clothes worth N10,000.
The defendant is facing one-count charge of malicious damage, the allegation to which he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Insp Olugbenga Salami, told the court that one Mr Ugo Friday took his clothes to the defendant’s shop for sewing on April 4 but Udor could not return it as at when due.
According to the prosecutor, when Ugo eventually called back to collect his clothes from Udor, the materials were partly burnt in the process of ironing.
He said the complainant asked for a refund of the cost of the clothes, the defendant refused to pay.
According to the prosecutor, the offence contravenes the provision of Section 339 of the Lagos State Criminal Code Laws, 2015.
However, the magistrate, Mrs Oluwakemi Williams-Isichie, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N20,000 with two responsible sureties, who must show evidence of tax payment.
A former HIV/AIDS ambassador in Ghana, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has declared that she’s a man, and so it will not be possible for her to get married to another man.
Joyce, in a post on her Facebook page, stated that as a ‘man-woman’ it would be outright impossible for her to have a working relationship with another man.

A popular ‘Native Doctor’ in Ghana identified as Kwaku Bonsam has reportedly stormed a church to retrieve his Juju from a pastor.
In the video, the herbalist and his crew could be seen disrupting activities in the church while telling the pastor to return the Juju he collected from him.
Kwaku Bonsam was heard saying “I told you to be patient” but it was not certain if he was speaking directly with the pastor, who was totally confounded by the unexpected move of the herbalist.

The defence headquarters on Tuesday dissociated the armed forces of Nigeria from the circulation of document, calling for the overthrow of the democratically elected government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement issued by Muhammed Wabi, deputy director of defence information, the DHQ accused a group, “Nigerian Continuity and Progress’’ as being behind the document.
Wabi alleged that the document called for the setting up of an “interim government’’ in place of the elected government.
The statement stressed that the armed forces of Nigeria is very mindful of its constitutional responsibilities and would not be misled into any act that would undermine democracy as enshrined in the 1999 Constitution as amended.

The Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) wishes to dissociate itself from the rascality and intentions as espoused in a document being circulated by a faceless group named Nigerian Continuity and Progress (NCP) calling for support of a revolution to oust the current democratically elected government and in its place establish an illegitimate interim government.
The AFN outrightly condemns the undemocratic and demonic actions of the author of the document. Accordingly, members of the public are enjoined to discountenance the content of the documents being circulated by NCP and equally condemned in totality, the call to derail our hard earned democracy.
It should be noted that the AFN is very mindful of its constitutional responsibilities and will not be misled into any act that will undermine democracy as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria1999 as amended.
The AFN remains unflinchingly loyal to the Constitution, as well as to President Muhammadu Buhari, President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, all relevant Law Enforcement Agency have been advised to unravel those behind the seditious document for appropriate actions.
A Nigerian guy has been called out on social media after he asked people to try seeing rape from the perspective of the rapist and not just the victim.
@petmaria20, a rape apologist, deems it ok for a man to force himself on a woman if she follows him to his house. He said it’s not rape if a man does that.
He also revealed that he’s a “trained feminist” and stood his ground after being criticized for the tweets.
