The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has threatened to sanction actress, Tonto Dikeh over her face-off with ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.
The board said her utterances were unbecoming, adding that the separation issue was being over stretched.
Recall King Tonto revealed how she caught her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchhill on a red pant, with red candles and laptop at night, describing him as a Yahoo boy and scammer.
She has continued to lash out at critics and those who made jokes about her situation.
Speaking to NewstimesAfrica, Prince Ifeanyi Dike, Chairman, AGN BoT, said:
“Tonto Dike is exhibiting bad behavior that we will no longer condone. What she should realize is that every marriage has its own issue. No one’s marriage is perfect.
“Issues like that are private. It is very unbecoming of her to portray us in bad light. There are so many actors who have issues with their marriages without getting the public involved. Her actions does not speak well of the industry.
“We are not interested in her private matters; rather we are concerned about her attitude which is rubbing off negatively on other actresses.
“Actions like this portray the industry as having unserious ladies. That is why men are scared of marrying actresses.
“Thank God that we have good examples in the industry. If she is looking for sensation, she should look for something else to use.
“Honestly, the Board of Trustees is not happy with her and if she continues this way, we will sanction her. We do not encourage bad behavior.”

After several years of marriage, Marian Ekiomado is married to her husband’s best man while she is yet to divorce her husband.
In an interview with the vanguard, Shola Motunbi, 39, the husband to Marian, on Friday, has accused his wife of betraying their marriage by getting married to a man who he has said, best him on their wedding day.
According to Shola “I am married to Marian Ekiomado, on August 6th 2016 both tradition and the white wedding took place, we also had marriage registry. However, a few months into our wedding I caught her with different text messages on her phone and discovered Facebook account with her boyfriends”.

“But what got me suspicious was that after she was 3 to 4 months pregnant, having terminated 2 pregnancy in the name of stress. she called her younger brother to fight and injured me in the house and I left and returned after she delivered on the 5th September 2017, I went there just once to see the child with my family after then she refuses to take my calls and refuses to bring the child for me to see. These made me get suspicious the more and so demanded a DNA test which she and her parent refused, to my greatest surprise I receive a call on Saturday 27th if April 2019 that she’s getting married in her mother’s house at Sapele road. I later found that she was getting married to the man who bests me.”

Shola has since filed a suit in a magistrate court to seek redress in what he termed has “breach of marital laws”, he has, however, not disclosed the one in particular to journalists as at the time of filing this report Marian Ekimoado, when contacted denied the statement but refused to give newsmen detail information to confirm the veracity of Shola’s claim. A source close to the Ekiamados, who spoke under a strict condition of anonymity, has however confirmed the story, according to the source “ Marian has been dating her recently wedded husband long before she got married to shola without his knowledge.” According to the source, their relationship grew stronger after Marian had succeeded in chasing shola out of the house with thugs, the source claimed.
Big Brother Naija Season 4 Date Has Been Announced!
Since the previous season of Big Brother Naija show tagged ‘Double Wahala’ ended in 2018, fans have been anticipating the epic season return this year.
After several months of teasing, organisers of famous reality TV show have announced that the 2019 edition will air this June.

Veteran Nollywood Actor, Charles Awurum has finally reacted to Bobrisky’s bashing after the former made a video condmening Nollywood producers who feature him in movies.
His reaction was in an interview with Punchng.com, where he noted that he made that video to state his displeasure with the situation and for posterity sake.
“I don’t even want to make further statements about this issue. What I said was for posterity sake. When they started producing pornographic movies in Asaba, I was one of the people who cried out about it. I don’t want to make further statements about Bobrisky; I just aired my opinion about the movie industry. Our movie industry is turning into something else.
“People now want to make money anyhow because there isn’t much money in the industry anymore. The industry is not making money; instead of being paid for their services; they pay to render their services,” the actor said.
He further identified some of the implications of featuring a cross-dresser in movies, something he described as totally unacceptable.
“Featuring a cross-dresser in a movie can be a comic way of achieving a storyline. The viewers would understand that the individual is a man who is trying to play the role of deceit in the movie. Another instance is writing a script that preaches that being gay is a sin. These kinds of storylines are acceptable. However, it is not acceptable to feature someone who used to be a man and disfigured himself into a woman,” he said.
However, in Bobrisky’s reply, he stated that the Nollywood actor was one of the poorest men in the movie industry. Reacting to this statement, Anwurum said he laughed about it when he saw it.
“I was very happy with his reply because it shows that he felt bad about the video. When you feel bad about an issue, it shows you know what you are doing is not good. I was laughing when I read what he said about me being the poorest actor in Nollywood.
“I am trying to create a future for the generation yet unborn. Movies are the eyes of the society. I am happy that over 90 per cent of my followers supported my view. It is my opinion; I am not forcing everyone to agree with it. I just decided to do it in a comic way. If Bobrisky feels pained, let him go into his house and cry. I didn’t want to talk about it because doing that will mean giving him more attention.
“I am only bothered about the future of the movie industry. The sentence he made about me not being successful as a man may encourage other young men to toe that path. Even if he claims he is not gay, he is encouraging people who have the tendency of being gay. If he is not gay, he should use his platform to tell people that being gay is bad,” he said.
A Boeing 737 plane which was landing at a naval airport, skidded off the runway and fell into the St Johns river in Florida.
However it was gathered that the 143 passengers and crew survived the incident and accounted for. The military-chartered Miami Air International plane was trying to land in a thunderstorm at the naval air station in Jacksonville en route from Guantanamo Bay in Cuba at around 9.40pm local time when it skidded off the runway into the St Johns river, a statement from the navy airport said.
Twenty-one adults were transported to local hospitals for minor injuries but were in good condition. The mayor of Jacksonville said on Twitter that everyone on board the flight was “alive and accounted for”, but that crews were working to control jet fuel on the water after the plane fell into the river.
“The plane was not submerged. Every person is alive and accounted for,” the Jacksonville sheriff’s office said on Twitter. A passenger on board the plane, lawyer Cheryl Bormann, told CNN in an interview that the flight, which had been four hours late in departing, made a “really hard landing” in Jacksonville amid thunder and lightning.
“We came down, the plane literally hit the ground and bounced, it was clear the pilot did not have total control of the plane, it bounced again,” she said, adding that the experience was “terrifying”.

Around this time last year, the news of ‘assurance’ spread like wild fire when it was revealed that the singer purchased a multi-million Naira whip for his girlfriend who he revealed had been with him for over five years.
A man Yahaya Abdul, a mechanic whose family had reportedly finalized all arrangements for his wedding with his heartthrob has been found dead.
The sad development took place Friday morning in Kogi State.
The cause of Abdul’s untimely death has yet to be disclosed as at the time of filing this report.
The Omeda area in Anyigba, Kogi state were thrown into mourning as he was set to Wed, Saturday.

A 26-year-old hairdresser, Kenile Nwabuzor, has reportedly committed suicide after her boyfriend identified as David, called off their two year relationship on April 11th.
Punch reports that David in an inteview, said he met Kenile shortly after her mother’s death and that they had a rocky relationship as she felt inferior to him because she was a secondary school leaver.
On April 11th after they called off their relationship, Kenile reportedly sent him a text lamenting he had made life miserable for her and that she would soon kill herself.
“She was my girlfriend and I loved her so much. We started dating each other about two years ago. She was not that literate, but I told her it didn’t matter. When we met, she was in distress. Her mother just died then and she was living alone. She said she could not live without her mother. Her brothers are based in Ghana, but they usually sent her money.
“She told me she finished secondary school, but I don’t think so. I really wanted to help her improve on her education. She easily got angry and if she had a disagreement with someone, she might not talk to that person again for years. As our relationship continued, I tried to correct her. I persuaded her to be going to church and bought a Bible for her. We usually had disagreements over petty issues.
“If we had a misunderstanding, I could be in her house for hours begging her and she would not say anything. If I decided to go, that would be another fight. At times, the misunderstanding would last for days.
Because of the nature of my job, I have girls around me. She would be complaining that I was going out with them. I tried to tell her that she needed to trust me. I also saw boys around her because she was beautiful, yet I trusted her.
Recently, she said I didn’t love her again. She changed her phone’s password to deny me access to her phone. She accused me of sleeping with women. It was true many ladies wanted me to ask them out, but I ignored them” he said
David explained that four days before she killed herslef, she had missed Nwabuzor’s calls while on an assignment at an event. He said he got back home late that day and returned her calls, but she did not pick them. When he eventually got through to her the next day, she started insulting him and he ended the call.
“She sent me text messages, but I didn’t reply. On Tuesday, I went to her house to return the charger she lent me and when I was about to leave, she returned all the things I had bought for her. That night, she sent a text message to me, saying that I had stopped loving her since December 2018 when we had fun at different places. She said she was no longer interested in the relationship. In my reply, I told her she was free to find her peace anywhere else. On Wednesday morning, I thought about everything again. I knew she was depressed and I had been the person encouraging her. I sent her another message, begging her. Most times, she would be the one to say she was not interested in the relationship, yet she would be crying. I was always the one saying sorry.
“That Thursday, she came to our house for the first time and met with my parents. That was the day my father knew her as my girlfriend. She reported me to him and said she was no longer interested in the relationship. My father sought my opinion and I said I didn’t have any comment.
“She started crying. She called one of her brothers and told him she was coming to Ghana. My father is a clergyman. He tried to counsel her. As my father was talking to her, she was crying. At a point, she stood up and left. Afterwards, I left for my workplace.”
David said he later sent a text message to him, saying “You want to kill me; I will help you kill myself. Thank you for making my life a hell.”
He said immediately after he read the message, he took a motorcycle and headed to her house.
“On getting there, I peeped from her window and saw her body dangling on a rope tied to the ceiling. I shouted and barged into her room. Her neighbours helped me loose the rope while I brought her down. She was already heavy, but I was not feeling the weight. I was not in my right senses again. I took her on a motorcycle to a nearby hospital. She was referred to Randle General Hospital. A doctor confirmed her dead on arrival. I called her brother and relations. The police arrested me and detained me for two days. They said I should not have brought her down,” he said
Kenile was buried on Saturday, April 13 which was David’s 26th birthday.
Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, said the police had received a distress call from the general hospital that one Kenile Nwabuzor was brought in dead by her boyfriend.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the lady had earlier sent a text message to her boyfriend that she would kill herself. Her corpse was removed and deposited in the Lagos Mainland Hospital morgue.” Bala said

City FM On-air personality, Benny Ark was sacked today by the management of the radio station just weeks after he sparked a controversy online.
Reports say he was allegedly sacked by the MD of City FM, Mrs Adedoja Allen, over his issues with colleagues.
The OAP was seen weeks ago in a video stating that singer, Chidinma was the reason why Kizz Daniel decided to start his #Fuckyouchallenge simply because they broke up.
However, the information by Benny Ark didn’t sit well with Chidinma’s camp which later forced the OAP to tender an apology.
According to Chidinma’s manager, Rasheed Ogunsanwo:
“When she heard the news, Chidinma was just laughing. Left to her, she would not have said a word or written a letter to the radio station or the OAP. It was her management that decided to take the issue up because it was blatant rubbish. If the story was true, Chidinma would have lost her cool.
“Chidinma is an artiste who doesn’t interfere in public issues; she just focuses on her music. It was annoying when an OAP came out to say what he wasn’t sure of. And he said it with so much confidence; that pissed everyone off.
On Tuesday, we wrote to the management of the radio station. We asked them to tell us where they got the information from. I think he (Benny Ark) has tendered an apology. But despite the apology, we would still look at the situation and decide if we should take the matter up legally. It was obvious the OAP was lying.”

A Nigerian national was killed while seven others were arrested following an operation launched on Thursday by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) against a catfishing or “love scam” syndicate in Imus, Cavite.
The suspects are identified as Kenneth Chuku, Ikenna Dickson Okalla, Chukwuma George Adible, Chiboy Stanley Agbasy, Dim Remedios, Abas Kashmir, and Uba Living.
The slain suspect was identified as Orisakwe Ifeanyi Emmanuel, The Inquirer.net reports.
The NBI anti-cybercrime agents swooped down on the suspects’ hideout on Thursday and discovered the alleged cybercrime activities of the syndicate involved in victimizing people online.
The NBI said during the apprehension, one suspect, Orisakwe, grabbed a pistol and attempted to shoot at the operatives but was subdued. However, after his pistol fell, Orisakwe turned and grabbed a hand grenade, prompting the agents to fire at him.
Orisakwe was brought to the nearest hospital but was declared dead on arrival, the NBI said.

Erstwhile head of state, Yakubu Gowon, slumped during the funeral of late Major General David Ejoor in Ovwor-Olomu community, Ughelli South LGA of Delta State today Friday, May 3rd.
According to reports, the former Military ruler, slumped mid way during the oration at the grave side of late Maj Gen David Akpodiete Ejoor.
The former Head of State was promptly rushed by some senior military officers into the special tenth for emergency resuscitation. They were joined by Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and Chief James Onanefe Ibori, former Governor of the Delta State.
There are indications that the former Nigerian leader is now in a stable state.

The fattest child in the world who weighs 31 stone at just ten years old will undergo weight loss surgery in a bid to save his life.
Ten-year-old Mohammed Arbrar, from Pakistan, struggles to stand after regularly eating meals meant to feed four adults.
Arbrar was just 8lb at birth, but he began gaining weight rapidly – tipping the scales at three stone when he was just six months old.
His doctors say he is the fattest boy in the world, weighing even more than Indonesian Arya Permana, who hit the headlines for weighing 29 stone aged ten, three years ago.
His parents, who have two other healthy children, said Mohammed was perpetually hungry as an infant and would drink five times as much milk as his elder siblings.
He was so heavy that his mother Zareena could not change his nappies alone and had to get a specially-made bed to take his weight. With his massive frame, even basic activities like walking and sitting are an uphill task for the pre-teen boy.
Despite having three siblings, an older brother and a sister and one younger sister, Mohammed cannot play with them.
He has never been to school because he cannot take more than three steps at a time.
But now, his parents are hopeful that Mohammed could be a normal weight after the country’s best-known bariatric surgeon, Dr Maaz ul Hassan, agreed to perform a life-saving operation.
Abrar will undergo a laparoscopic sleeve surgery in which the outer margin of the stomach is removed to restrict food intake on Friday.
The surgery is expected to last for an hour, and after the operation, Mohammed will be fed a liquid diet of buttermilk, chicken broth, and fruit juice.
Former Director General, Bureau of Public Reforms, Dr Joe Abah, is seeking the help of the public in locating a man that stole his PA’s handbag at the Benue Hall of the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
Abah shared CCTV footage showing the man lifting the bag from where it was kept. He wrote

A civil servant working with the Delta State Ministry of Finance, Comrade Benson Efeotor, returned an excess of N53 million erroneously paid him as salary, and he was rewarded for his honesty.
He was gifted with a Brand New GAC Car Courtesy of the Delta State Government.
Comrade Efeotor returned to the state government, the sum of fifty three million, one hundred and twenty one thousand, six hundred and fifty naira erroneously paid into his Zenith Bank account recently.
Comrade Efeotor, who doubles as the Delta State Chairman of the Nigerian Civil Servants Union, spoke at the 2019 May Celebration held in Asaba.
Comrade Efeotor said, “I returned the money because I don’t have such money in my bank account.”
He said when he saw the money in his back account; he informed the relevant government officials, who gave him the appropriate government account to pay the money back into.
While noting that he has not been appreciated for returning the money, Comrade Edeotor who is an Okpara-Inland Community in Ethiope-East Local Government Area said, “I have satisfied my conscience and I am okay with that.”
He said anyone who will say he was wrong for returning the money to the government is a “thief.”
“You don’t collect what does not belong to you. I am working for my salary. If I collect the money, that’s criminal.”
Reacting to the development, the Delta State Governor, Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa said he has rewarded Comrade Benson Efeotor with a GS 3 saloon car for the show of good example.
He said, “That’s the Nigerian worker that we must recognize. Such person will lead the Union aright.
Nollywood actor, Mike Godson has been slammed by Tonto Dikeh’s fan after he threw shade at the actress, calling him a woman beater.
The actor didn’t mention her name but in light of the situation, it is easy to deduce he was talking about her.
Tonto Dikeh also trying not mention names tagged him a Z-list actor, not worthy of her time.
