A Nigerian Lady on twitter has gained clout after claiming God discriminated against people with disabilities. Surprisingly, those who replied supported her controversial tweet.’
Her tweet reads ;
“One day we’re going to talk about how God was discriminatory to people with disabilities. About how he banned people with eye defects, hunchbacks, crippled limbs, dwarfism, sores, wounded testicles – “disfigured” persons – from coming near his temple or making sacrifices to him.”

Media IT girl, Toke Makinwa has taken to social media to lambaste Comedian Bovi for making jokes about her backside.
Apparently, he (Bovi) must have cracked the joke during one of his recent comedy shows.

Annie Idibia and Pero Adeniyi have both shared cryptic posts on Instagram which seem to be directed at each other.
Both women made peace last November during a show and hugged it out in front of their baby daddy, Tuface, after years of animosity. But the peace seems to be short-lived as they are already throwing shades at each other on Instagram.
Pero took to her Instagram story to share a post about fake people who pretend in public so everyone likes them. Hours later, Annie also took to her Instagram to write: “I don’t do fakes. When I’m mad…. damnnnn you gon feel it and know it.”
This war comes after Tuface travelled to celebrate the birthday of his first child with Pero – Ehi Idibia – as she turned 13. Zainab was arrested in Saudi Arabia in December 2018 after a banned substance, Tramadol, was found in her luggage. Investigations later showed that the substances was planted in her luggage by a drug cartel that plants hard drugs in the luggages of unsuspecting travelers.
The Federal government today secured her release.

The Federal Government has secured the release of Zainab Aliyu who was arrested in Saudi Arabia for alleged drug trafficking.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
He said the government has been able to establish the innocence of Zainab and the second Nigerian involved in the case, Ibrahim Abubakar will be released tomorrow to the Nigerian Mission in Saudi Arabia.
There had been several calls for her release with President Muhammadu Buhari directing the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, to swiftly intervene and secure her immediate release.
Following the President’s directive, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora Affairs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, assured Nigerians that they were making good progress and she will be back, along with 2 others in the same situation.

A 34 year-old Nigerian, Samuel Nkennaya, has been killed while another Nigerian, Chinonso Nwudo is in critical condition in South Africa following mob attack.
Victor Ayanfe-Oyebanjo, Secretary of Mpumalanga Province branch of the Nigerian Union in South Africa, NUSA, disclosed this in a statement made available to News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday.
He said that Messrs Nkennaya and Nwudo were attacked following accusations that both men kidnapped Chinonye, a six year-old girl, who unknown to their attackers was Nwudo’s daughter.
“It all started when Nwudo took his six years-old daughter, Chinonye, to visit Nkennaya at White River town in the evening of April 27. “Later, Nwudo and Nkennaya proceeded to buy food for Nwudo’s daughter, Chinonye, at KFC restaurant in the area.
Mr Ayanfe-Oyebanjo said shortly after buying the food that some bystanders raised false alarm alleging that both men kidnapped the six year-old girl.
“Thereafter, the community did not bother to ask questions and immediately mobbed the two Nigerians. “While they were being attacked, Nwudo kept on shouting that the girl was his daughter and pleaded that they speak to his South African wife to confirm his claim – which actually saved his life.
“The Police later intervened and called for backup to rescue the victims. Nkennaya died at the hospital on April 28 while Nwudo is in critical health condition,” he said.
Mr Ayanfe-Oyebanjo said that a week before the incident that two South Africans were murdered for allegedly kidnapping a child in the same area.
He said a murder case has been opened at the White River Police station and pleaded on Nigerians in the province to remain calm in the wake of the unprovoked attacks.
“The incident has been reported to NUSA’s national secretariat, while the union is currently seeking redress to ensure that the culprits are brought to book,” he said.
Adetola Olubajo, the President of NUSA, confirmed the killing to NAN.
Speaking, the wife of Chinonso Nwudo, Zanele Skhosana-Nwudo, a South African national also confirmed the incident to NAN on telephone from Mpumalanga Province.
According to her, Chinonye had been traumatised by the incident and was currently undergoing counselling in an undisclosed hospital.
“They (attackers) did not bother to ask her anything and didn’t even bother to remove her from the scene before beating her dad (Nwodu) unconscious. Chinonye’s dad is in the hospital while her uncle (Nkennaya) is dead,” she said amid tears.

Security operatives have apprehended two criminal suspects and their girlfriends for allegedly robbing residents of their properties in Rivers state.
The couples who reportedly specialize in stealing around Ikwerre local government area of the state, were nabbed following a recent security raid at their base.
They were arrested after the police received an intelligence report from an unknown caller who exposed the gang said to be ‘living large’ in the area.
Security agents raided the hideout of the criminal elements and caught them with over 15 stolen Smartphones, brand new generators, refrigerator, laptops and other items belonging to people living around around them.
Music video director, Clarence Peters has reacted to the “Sex for role allegation” leveled against him by Lagos Socialite, Pretty Mike.

A former member of the House of Representatives and an international lawyer of repute, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko, has received the Honorary Doctorate Award from the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, Nigeria.

37-year-old Michael Adebowale, who is serving a 45 year jail term for the 2013 murder, was born in Britain but has Nigerian parents. He is currently behind bars in HMP Wakefield, but he is believed to be seeking a prisoner-swap deal.
The Sun reports that he plans to seek a transfer to Lagos’ Kirikiri jail where then-Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, agreed to pay for a new £700,000 wing in 2014.
A source told the newspaper: “Michael hates Wakefield. It’s stuffed full of lags who see him as a top target. He thinks he can spend the rest of his sentence in Africa.”
The Sun also reported that Adebowale has written to immigration experts asking for advice. But it is thought that his bid would fail because he was not born in Nigeria.

A Nigerian woman has given birth to a baby on the same day that she was getting married to her husband.
According to one Cynthia Chidimma Ezike, who shared the story on her Facebook page, the woman who gave birth is her brother’s wife.

A 100 Level Chemical Engineering student of the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has died of apparent suicide after a long-standing battle with depression.
The lady identified as Hikmat Gbadamosi was found dead in her room – according to her friend, the deceased had been battling a medical condition since birth and the resulting pain sent her into depression.
She is assumed to have consumed two bottles of a poisonous substance on Saturday and was only discovered on Monday after her bestie mobilized classmates to her room to know why she didn’t show up in school for a test they had yesterday.
On getting there, they saw her door locked and peeped through the window – only to see the girl laying dead. An alarm was raised and people gathered to break the door.
The lodge occupants said they saw her last on Saturday. She might have died since Saturday night and only discovered yesterday being Monday.

A member of the Presidential Committee on the North East Initiative (PCNI), Dr. Sidi Ali Mohammed, has disclosed that Boko Haram members receive as much as $3,000 daily which he claims serves as payment for carrying out terrorist attacks in the North-East since 2014.
Mohammed made this disclosure at the Presentation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Sub-Sahara Africa’s Economic Outlook Report, in Abuja on Monday April 29th.
According to Mohammed, the payment makes the N1,000 daily allowance paid to Nigerian troops at the war front ridiculous.
“I will give you an example. The Nigerian military for example, gets N1, 000 per day for being in the North East, at the war front, as an allowance. The same North-East, where if you are a member of Boko Haram you get $3,000 per day as allowance. So it is lucrative. Sometimes, they even give you money upfront. So we must do something about the youth from where they are recruiting.” he said

ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has re-emerged in a new video, after nearly 5 years of absence.
In the video, he blames the “savagery” of Christians for ISIS’ defeat in the battle of Baghouz and vowed to get revenge for his dead militants.
Al-Baghdadi, who is the leader of the Islamist terrorist group, was last seen in July 2014, when he gave his last sermon at the Great Mosque in Mosul, Iraq. He has not appeared in a video since then.
He reappeared for the first time in a propaganda video released today by the jihadist organisation.
In the video, the 47-year-old sat cross-legged with a rifle resting against the wall near his arm. The Iraqi militant, who suffers from diabetes, spoke slowly, often pausing for several seconds in the middle of his sentences.
It is unclear when the footage was filmed, but Baghdadi referred in the past tense to the months-long fight for Baghouz, IS’s final bastion in eastern Syria, which ended last month. A written script at the start of the video dates it to earlier in April, but the authenticity and exact date of the recording has not yet been independently verified, Daily Mail reports.
Sitting on a cushion and speaking to three men whose faces have been blurred, Baghdadi said: “The battle for Baghouz is over.”
He continued: “There will be more to come after this battle”, adding that his group is fighting a “battle of attrition”.
A 56-year-old man, Clinton Kanu is making a claim to demand a Twenty Billion Naira compensation for spending 27 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit.
Kanu, who was sentenced to death in 1992 for murder, was freed by the Supreme Court on April 5, 2019.
The Okigwe, Imo State-born consultant criminologist explained that though he made efforts to absolve himself from a gang-up that led to his incarceration, nobody was ready to listen to him until he was jailed.
While in prison, Kanu lost his mother; coupled with the fact that he was not married, he said he fought loneliness.
Kanu, who recounted the incident that led to his travail, said,
“About 27 years ago, some people were accused of stealing a generator and fluorescent tubes; they were my in-laws.
“After a court decided the case, we suddenly heard that somebody was killed in the compound where my sister married. I was arrested because those behind my ordeal thought I was trying to resolve a land dispute in favour of one person.
“I was taken to the Okigwe Police Station and later transferred to Owerri, where I was charged to court in April 1992. I was detained in the Owerri prison. I was at the tribunal for seven years because those behind my ordeal included armed robbery to the case. They believed I was a strong man and wanted to tie me down.
“They brought false witnesses to testify against me at the tribunal. I was later taken to a regular court where I was condemned to death. From Owerri, I was transferred to the Port Harcourt prison. At the Port Harcourt prison, I waited for many years for the hangman’s noose.
“I went to the Appeal Court to appeal the case, but my lawyer messed it up. Then I decided to proceed to the Supreme Court, where after 27 years in prison, I was vindicated. I was detained for nothing for 27 years; I was discharged and acquitted on April 5, 2019.”
Speaking further, Kanu said that he would demand N20bn compensation from the Federal Government and his state (Imo State) for the damage done to his business.
“It seems as if everything collapsed on my head; I don’t know where to start from. My head is jam-packed with thoughts and I need to ask God to direct me. I really need help.
“I am considering asking for compensation from the Federal Government and my state. I want this legal parochialism and injustice to stop.
“When you talk about the damage done to my business and to my health, due to the prison’s dirty environment, and a lot of other things that have gone wrong, if I put my losses in billions, I don’t think it is out of place.
“The money is just to make me solve my problems and get back to normal life. I will ask for N20bn compensation.”
