The man said he was lucky he did not have it on his person at the time it happened.

American Singer and actor, Jennifer Lopez, has courted controversy after saying that men are useless until they turn 33.
During Tinder’s Swipe Sessions, Jennifer Lopez, was giving out an advice to a woman, Brooke – who was searching for a partner on the platform.
The two women swiped through Brooke’s Tinder options together and after stumbling upon 29-year-old social media manager Maurice, J.Lo said;
“GUYS, UNTIL THEY’RE 33, ARE REALLY USELESS.”
People didn’t take too kindly to the 48-year-old singer’s advice to Brooke.

Fast rising actress, Josephine Nwaghanata in a recent interview talked about her biggest selling point.
According to her, ‘my boobs get me the most attention, even when I try to cover it up. Some people tell me that they also like my eyes and legs. They say my eyes are captivating but I love my boobs more.
But I don’t intentionally flaunt them all the time. It depends on the occasion. If I am at the beach, of course I will wear beach attire. My boobs cannot be hidden, even if I try to hide them, they keep popping out of my dress.”
On how she started her acting career, Nwaghanata said: “It started when I was little, I would watch some movies and just get angry at how an actor interpreted his/her role and then I would say to myself ‘when I get older I would do better’.
Later, I joined the drama department of my church. For two years, I was made to watch, learn and observe before I finally started acting. It felt like a dream come true, and since then, I’ve been acting both on stage and screen”.
Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, on Saturday, said he is still the duly elected governor of the state regardless of Friday’s judgement of the state Election Petitions Tribunal.
He enjoined the public to disregard the insinuations that he had been sacked, saying he was confident of retaining his mandate at the appellate court. He spoke in Osogbo while inspecting some ongoing road and drainage projects in the state capital.
The governor said the outcome of the ‘lower court’ did not, in any way, affect the validity of the votes freely and willingly given to him by the people of the state. He said since the constitution allowed him to file an appeal against the judgement, he remained the legitimate governor of the state.
Oyetola said, “I am confident that our mandate will be reaffirmed at the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. As you all know, it was a split judgement, telling us that it was not a unanimous decision. This is part of our strength at the appellate court.
“I must correct the impression that I have been removed from office. I remain the governor of Osun up until all the electoral litigation is finalised. My visit to this site is in furtherance of our commitment to ensuring a better life for all residents of the state and to demonstrate that governance brought about by our government continues.”
The governor, who had earlier received the leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress at the Government House, assured the supporters of the party that he would become victorious at the end of the litigation. He called on the party loyalists to remain calm and expressed confidence in the judiciary to deliver justice.

Nigeria’s Minister for Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu, who spoke on Saturday on the theme:Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Sustained Development at the 3rd Founder’s Day ceremony of Edo University, Iyamho, disclosed that Nigeria is set to overtake India in open defecation rankings.
Punch reported that the Minister who was represented at the event by the Managing Director of Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority, Ahmed Saliu, disclosed that Nigeria is set to overtake India in open defecation rankings because it was unable to attain the Millennium Development Goals targets for water supply and sanitation over poor investments, low capacity and other challenges.
“Nigeria will become the No. 1 open defecation practising country when India becomes open defecation free in October. Access to sanitation has been on the decline from 30 per cent in 2010 to 28 per cent in 2015. Open defecation has been on the increase and there was not a single LGA in Nigeria that is open defecation free.
“It is estimated that more than 48 million Nigerians practise open defecation and that placed Nigeria as the second in the world (behind India). So far there are 10 LGAs in the country that have attained open defecation free status” the Minister added.
Flamboyant Nigerian monarch, Oluwo of Iwoland, Rasheed Akanbi has said the Osun State Government might be unable to sustain its current wage bill let alone pay the new N30, 000 minimum wage unless it overhauls the civil service.
Oba Akanbi said, ;
“Osun is sick. The governor, Oyetola, may not be able to say this truth because he is a politician. But I am a royal father. I should be good to tell the truth always. It will be tough for the state to pay the new minimum wage, unless there is a complete overhaul of the civil service.
“The current wage bill of the state government cannot be sustained. The civil service needs overhaul. A situation whereby 26 drivers will be attached to two vehicles must stop.”
As part of ways out of the situation, the royal father said unproductive civil servants must be made productive by government and be deployed where their skills would be useful. He added, “Also, aggressive revenue generation through internally generated revenue, especially from the informal sector, would be of help to government.”

The actress announced yesterday that she has just bought a Mercedes Benz 4matic for herself, which happens to be her second Benz in a month.

A short video went viral few days back showing a woman beating and disgracing a lady said to be her sister’s husband’s mistress surfaced online.
The woman in the videos claimed that the mistress had the effrontery to come into her sister’s matrimonial home to have sex with her husband.
Instead of blaming cheating husband, the lady decided to humilate the mistress by stripping her naked in public and flogging her. Read previous report here
After much public outcry as many Nigerians were disappointed after seeing punishment meted out to the mistress, the police has stepped into the matter and arrested the woman that humiliated her.
A statement from the state police command says the mistress who reported the matter, said she met the man on Facebook and he never informed her that he was married.

On the 21/3/2019 at about 2:40pm, one Okafor Ogochukwu ‘F’ of Osile Village Ogidi reported at Central Police Station Awka that on 19/03/2019 at about 11:36am, she was invited by her male facebook friend, one Ifeanyi Azota ‘m’ to his house at Ezimezi village in Amawbia. All of a Sudden a woman who claimed to be his wife namely Azotani Toochukwu ‘f’ suddenly appeared into the house with her friend one Ogochukwu Nwankwo ‘F’ and Locked her inside the bathroom for almost four hours and left.
2. The women later came back with two big canes and opened the bathroom.
3. However, while the Suspect’s friend, one Ogochukwu Nwankwo stripped her naked and flogged her severally, the principal suspect was busy video taping the incident and thereafter pushed her out from the compound naked.
4. Complainant further alleged that the principal suspect, Azotani Toochuckwu called her on phone the following day and demanded for the sum of Sixty thousand Naira (N60,000) or they will post her nude video on the internet.
5.Consequently, When the Complainant refused to pay the money as requested, the principal suspect Azotani Toochukwu actualised her threat and posted the naked video to the internet and since then the vedio went viral.
6. Meanwhile, three suspects have been arrested and scene of the incident was visited by Police detectives attached to Central Police Station Awka. Case under investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.

A couple identified as Mr and Mrs Emeka Joseph Ozoekweh, reportedly died after eating a poisoned food that also got their housemaid hospitalized.
The couple reportedly died after eating a poisoned food at a wedding in Umuozu, Uratta, Abia State, and sources revealed that the housemaid is current receiving medical attention in a hospital in Abia.
Emeka Joseph Ozoekweh aka Emmyjoe and his wife who chaired the wedding they attended was said to be the Secretary of the Timber Dealers Association in Abia State, and he reportedly died after alongside his wife after eating from a takeaway pack they were given.
The death of the couple was uncovered after neighbours in the market, complained that they have been calling them while their phones rang without any response.
Upon climbing into their compound with ladders, their bodies were discovered and the maid was quickly rushed to the hospital.
Though the body of the couple have been deposited in the mortuary, however an autopsy is currently being conducted to know if they died from the alleged poisoned food.
Pius Adesanmi’s 7-year-old daughter, Tise, who paid him a tribute at a memorial service in his honor organized by Carleton University in Canada yesterday March 22nd, stated that her father died a great working man.
Professor Pius Adesanmi’s daughter who promised to keep getting A+ in all her subjects and also keep her father’s legacy, said her father who died a great working man, taught her how to speak french and how to read.
”I am remembering Pius Adesanmi because he is on the airplane to somewhere and then his airplane crashed and he died. A great working man, he taught me how to speak french. and he taught me how to read” Tise said.
Controversial actress Etinosa Idemudia has come out to explain how it all happened and lessons learnt from the nude drama that happened on MC Galaxy’s IG live.

I live in a country where everything works, food is cheap, water is clean and roads are smooth and I believe that these are necessities that everyone is entitled to. If I flick a switch, light comes on. By Monday, I will go to work and I won’t be owed salary for a minute. If I get hit by a car, my insurance company would jump in and take care of things from their end. I could hire a lawyer to sue my governor if I was offended and the trial will go according to the law. I have no worries whatsoever, yet I spend my time sharing the little I know with my people. I could easily say, “that’s your problem. Deal with it.” But I’m still a Nigerian and I have friends and family suffering.
When you start using social media for the right reasons, change will come. Tanker drivers will no longer weave through traffic carelessly to avoid killing people and getting sued for billions.
Greedy landlords will not continue to rent out an unsafe building marked for demolition which could collapse leaving hundreds dead or injured. Who wants to go to prison for something they could have easily avoided?
Policemen won’t open fire in the middle of the road because a keke driver refused to give them 500 Naira. Again, the entire force could be sued for millions. Imagine if they police force goes to court every other week for one reckless behavior from their staff, and they keep losing millions as payment for damages?
Transit bus companies would do routine maintenance on their buses and do drug checks on their drivers before sending them on a 8 hour journey. Again, if a drunk driver keeps making them lose money, what do you think would happen?
The same goes for the state and local government. If you keep calling them out, they will be forced to do the right thing.
The list is endless, but you get the point. Don’t say, “there’s nothing we can do about it.”
Nigerian producer, ChinneyLove Eze has stated that Ex BBN housemate, BamBam is the most unprofessional actor she has ever seen.

A protest was stirred up among Nigerians on board a flight in Germany after an issue ensued with a fellow citizen (Nigerian) and the airline authorities.
According to reports, the Nigerian man had no complete documents and was not meant to be on the flight but still boarded it anyway before the authorities approached him on the plane.
