Nigerian Singer, Davido, who just arrived at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in the United States of America, has taken to social media to narrate his horrific flight experience.
The ‘Assurance’ crooner said the plane experienced air turbulence for about 14 hours and he had to repent of his sins for about 10 times, but was grateful to have landed safely at his destination.

Two days ago, Nigerian footballer, Alex Iwobi came under fire for being disrespectful to a fellow black man during Arsenal’s last Europa game.
In the video that immediately went viral, Iwobi was seen covering his nose in disgust and backing away when the other black player tried to speak to him, insinuating the man has mouth odour.

Former governor of Ogun state, Gbenga Daniel, has quit artisan politics and has also resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Daniel, who was the campaign coordinator of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the PDP, announced this in a letter sent o the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus.
I joined the PDP in Ogun State on Sunday, the 9th of September, 2001 at an event which was described as one of the most ceremonial political rallies in our recent political history in the South Western part of Nigeria.
We rose from that rally to create a highly robust and effective political campaign machinery which resulted in an electoral victory for the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State in 2003; this movement and vibration affected the politics of the region positively with a victory in five states of the south-west.
I served as governor of Ogun state for eight years and our administration till today remains a point of reference in terms of physical, social, economic, educational and human capital development since the state was created in 1976.
Notwithstanding these widely acclaimed achievements however, our party, the Peoples Democratic Party ran into trouble waters towards the end of our administration (about the year 2009) which led to the sad loss in the election of 2011, and regrettably ten (10) years after the party has been unable to resolve those internal disputes and challenges.
Let me also add, that in the last few months, I have had one of the rare privileges of traveling round the entire length and breadth of our great country on at least two occasions; the first being during my campaigns to become the National Chairman of our great party, and later as the Director General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization (APCO).
I must sincerely admit that in the course of all these travels, I have built a network of contacts, of friends and associates in a mutually rewarding relationships which I cherished most and greatly too. I am therefore persuaded that I have fewer points to make and prove in my Political journeys in partisan politics.
My decision to quit partisan politics notwithstanding, I have decided to rejuvenate my charity based organization, the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF) which will literally continue to dispense succor to our people in need, address and assist in the areas of some of their health challenges; I also plan on resuscitation of the non-partisan Political Leadership Academy (POLA) which I established some years ago as a platform of political education to our citizens,” he said.
Without doubt, I will miss the company of my friends and associates and all those relationships I built in the course of the years all over the country.”

Recall the pair had an Instagram Live Video Session last Night, where the actress went completely naked, exposing her private parts and breast.
Etinosa when she appeared on the Live Video, said

Asked if he regrets the whole incident, he said

I can confirm to you that efforts to quickly stabilize and/or completely treat him to full wellness by medical experts at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) at the instance of Minister of Health are yielding positive results as Baba Suwe can now walk without the stick, less pain and he is getting better.
If further theraphy are administered and medications adhered to, he will come out completely of the major ailments. He will however proceed abroad very soon to further his treatment.

Just days after a three storey building collapsed in Lagos state killing 20 persons, most of them children, another three-story building that was under construction, collapsed at the Bode area after the Molete bridge in Ibadan, Oyo state on Friday night.

A woman in North Carolina will soon donate her kidney to the man who adopted her 27 years ago, saving his life in a surprising twist of fate.
DeLauren McKnight was surprised to learn she was a match for her father, Billy Houze, as they are not blood-related.
Mr Houze’s kidneys began failing in 2016 – doctors said he would not survive past five years without a transplant.
None of the 64-year-old pastor’s other family members had been a match.
Speaking on Good Morning America on Friday, Mr Houze, a father to five children, said he was “extremely proud” of his daughter.
“She told me, ‘Daddy, you thought you were saving my life pulling me from foster care but in actuality, you were saving my life so I could save yours later.’”
The Baptist pastor began suffering kidney failure following a gall bladder surgery in 2016. When none of his relatives were donor matches, doctors said it could take him seven years to get a kidney.
Then, in February, they tested Ms McKnight, who Mr Houze and his wife adopted in 1992 – and she was a perfect match.
When Ms McKnight told him the unexpected news, she said her father broke down in tears.
“I call him my Superman,” she told Good Morning America. “There’s nothing in this world I wouldn’t give him so he can enjoy life and be right there beside me.”
Mr Houze and Ms McKnight will be undergoing surgery in the next few weeks.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday night said that President Muhammadu Buhari was probably poorer than when he was elected in 2015.
Osinbajo spoke during a dinner in honour of volunteers who canvassed for votes for the APC during the campaigns for this year’s general election, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said,
“When I looked at his assets declaration form, I was checking it in 2015, I said to him, “Mr President, I am so much richer than you, it is an embarrassment.”

“We are still not done with the elections. “On the 23rd of March, we still have some outstanding states and as you know we are re-running in about six states.
“And all of the efforts we need to put into those six states, we still need to do. “We can’t afford to slack off and say the job is done; we still have some things to do.”

A mother who lost her two children in the Wednesday March 13th building collapse in the Itafaji area of Lagos state, has reportedly committed suicide after she received news of the death of her children.
According to Sahara Reporters, the traumatized woman who gave birth to the two children, who were between the ages of six and four, through Caesarean Section (CS), is said to have bought a bottle of insecticide called ‘Sniper’ and drank all of it.
“Nobody knew what she wanted to do with the Sniper. But a few minutes later, we saw the bottle beside her where she was sleeping and we found out that she was already dead,” a neighbour, who preferred not to be named, said.
Sympathisers thronged their house to condole with the husband and family members.
Meanwhile, a mother, Yetunde, whose son was injured, has been too traumatised by the sight of the boy lying critically on the hospital bed, that she has not sat down for over nine hours.
She was seen moving from one corner of the Lagos Island General Hospital to the other in search of the prescribed drugs and other needs demanded by the doctors.
The boy survived the injuries and his two legs are in Plaster of Paris (POP).
A survivor of the collapsed building, Mr. Moruf Abdulakeem, yesterday revealed that he was under the rubble for three hours and at a point feared death was near.
He said: “I was praying to God under the rubble, to accept and forgive me my sins, because I believed the end had come.”
According to him, he had gone out about 9.30a.m. to buy food and a bag of sachet water. He said that as he was mounting the staircase, almost getting to the third floor, the earth suddenly seemed to shift. The building collapsed. Abdulakeem, who is the head teacher of the Ohen Nursery and Primary School, teaches Basic Six.
He said: “Initially, when the building collapsed, I didn’t know where I was until after some minutes. I saw a ray of light; it was then I knew I was under the building. The first thing that came to my mind was what had happened to the pupils. I knew there was no way they could have escaped. I spent about three hours before I could see the ray light. Everywhere was dark; I heard cries of the pupils and the proprietress shouting Jesus! Jesus! I also heard the voice of Baba Ridwan. He was not too far from me under the rubble. We used to pray together in the same mosque. He was calling for help. When I heard his voice, I told him to pray, not to shout. “When I saw the ray light, I tried to raise my hand up. Someone touched me, and called my name. The person told me not to worry that they were coming to rescue me. It took the rescue team an hour before they could remove the slab that fell on me. “It was after they removed the slab that I felt some relief.
The heat under the rubble was too much. It got to a stage I could not breathe anymore. It was God that saved me. Before the rescue team came, I was getting weaker. I started praying to God to accept my soul. “I told Baba Ridwan to pray because at that point, God is the only one that can save us. I sustained injuries on my arm, ribs, chest and legs. Even right now, I’m in severe pains. “All the time I was under the rubble, I was praising God. I didn’t know what would happen next. When they eventually brought me out; it was like a dream to me. I thank God for sparing my life; unfortunately, I lost five of Basic Six pupils and four others.” Abdulakeem explained that at the Primary Health Centre, Onikan, where the rescue team took him to, the doctors asked him to bring N9,000 for X-ray and other treatment. He added: “Some of my co-teachers are in serious condition.
A teacher called Esther is presently in coma. Another of my colleague, Daniel and the proprietress died. Others are in critical condition.” Abdulakeem’s father, Salawudeen, said: “It’s God that saved my son from the collapsed building. I went to buy something when someone called me on the phone that a building had collapsed close to my house. I immediately left what I was doing and rushed to the scene. When I got there, I met some of my friends; they were assisting in the rescue operation. I didn’t even know that my son was under the rubble.
The last time I saw him, he was on his way to buy food. I didn’t know he had returned and reentered the school.” Salawudeen said that he believed that God saved his son, because he selflessly assisted in rescuing people, without knowing that his son was one of the victims.
He added: “I will always thank God for what he has done for me. Moruf is my first child.” Abdulakeem’s mother, who declined to mention her name or speak with our correspondent, was rolling on the ground, thanking God for sparing the life of her son.
