Ben Bruce slams Oby Ezekwesili

Senator Ben Bruce has launched a scathing attack on Oby Ezekwesili after she announced her withdrawal from the 2019 presidential race.

Oby had reacted to the suspension of CJN Walter Innoighen by President Buhari writing;

‘this is an unconstitutional action! You, Mr President are a grave danger to our fragile Democracy. What happened to the Constitutional provision 292 on Discipline of Judges? Nigerians will not allow you the license to imperil our Democracy’.

Obiageli Ezekwesili

Ben Bruce however used the opportunity to berate her saying;

‘you clapped in 2016 when the war against the judiciary began. Today, because you have fallen out with the tyrant you are shedding crocodile tears? Have some decency and save what is left of your tattered reputation. People like you brought us to this point with your gullibility’.

Mr. Wellington, come out and support Buhari with your chest. You can’t be doing this non-partisan shit forever. Your EME Company you converted to PR firm got a contract of N57m through one Abubakar Ahmed to promote Buhari. Why have you not been doing your work?

I have a picture of you and your wife traveling to Abuja via Arik Air in December where the contract was signed. Your client paid for the Business class that you and Adesuwa traveled with that day. The trip was on a Sunday morning. I dare you to deny this

1. Abacha- this thing honestly looks like those ropes from bags of rice that they dipped into palm oil. Only suitable to eat when there’s widespread famine

2/10- will not recommend

Do you know more than them?

4/10. Will only recommend for days when you’re already making poor choices

5. Ikokore (water yam porridge) Ijebu people might know how to chop life but for inventing this disaster of a meal, they don’t deserve good things. Ikokore is easily top 5 worst Nigerian meals

“I know that, because I contested the last time in 2012, and many people were asking that question. It is a shareholder’s decision and they have to decide how they want it. Someone has to nominate,” she said.

When Quest asked if she has declared her candidacy, Okonjo-Iweala said; “No, I have not declared my candidacy. You asked a hypothetical question and I answered it fairly. I’m very happy right now, and I just want you to know that I’m enjoying life for a change for a portfolio of what I like.”

Father shares cute pictures of his son doing “grown ups” things

A father, Matt McMillan has received clout online after he shared photos of his few months old son doing “grown ups” things.

The baby, Ryan, was born nine weeks premature in July 2018 and weighed 3lbs. Ryan had to stay in Neonatal Intensive Care for six weeks before he was allowed to go home.

His parents decided that it was best they joked about his premature birth by stating that he was perhaps a little advanced for his age. Having a sense of humor, they proceeded to dress him up looking like he’s doing what grown ups normally do.

The resulting pictures ended up being shared 100,000 times.

‘Ryan was born nine weeks premature and was in hospital for the first six weeks of his life,’ said Matt.

‘My wife and I like to joke that he is not premature, but just advanced, which is where this idea stemmed from.

‘She helped me with everything. One of us would hold him in different positions, and then I’d just edit us out, so it looks like he is doing it all by himself.

‘I find normal newborn photographs somewhat boring, so I thought I’d spice it up a bit this way.

However, in a chat with Showtime, the singer who has since kept mum on the matter rubbished claims that he flaunts his girlfriend, Temi, on social media because she is the daughter of a billionaire.

“I feel like at the end of the day what comes out of me is in me. You know people can say what they want to say. If you put your ears down and react to what they say, you won’t live, especially when you are in the limelight.

“You have to realize that your life is now entertainment for people. I don’t care about what people think. If your self-esteem is based on how much is in your bank account then you have a very serious self-esteem issue. So my mind, myself-worth has nothing to do with my account. I have had experiences of ups and downs so if my self-worth was based on material things I would have killed my self”.

He added that whenever he decides to talk about his love life publicly, it would be exclusive and on a paid basis.

“When I do, it will be Netflix exclusive and I will be paid to talk about it.”

My wife is not meant for the world; she is meant for only me and my children,” he said.

Lionel Messi begs for Emiliano Sala’s search to resume

Lionel Messi begs for Emiliano Sala’s search to resume

Lionel Messi has begged for Emiliano Sala’s search to resume, after police called off rescue operations yesterday.

Police from Guernsey abandoned the search on Thursday after the light aircraft taking the 28-year-old Argentinian to Wales following his signing with Cardiff City from Ligue 1 side Nantes disappeared from radar near the British island on Monday.

Lionel Messi took to his Instagram page to urge for the search to continue, he wrote;

“While there is the possibility, a shred of hope, we ask that you please #NoDejenDeBuscar (don’t stop searching) for Emiliano. All my strength to your family and friends,”

Messi’s plea comes after Sala’s father and other players, including Bordeaux’s Valentin Vada and Leganes’ Uruguayan attacker Diego Rolan, begged authorities to continue the search.

Sala’s family have asked that Nantes not to commemorate their former teammate at this weekend’s French Cup clash with third-tier Entente Sannois Saint-Gratien.

“We ask you to respect the family who absolutely refuse to talk about mourning and ask us to keep believing,” Nantes captain Valentin Rongier told more than 300 Nantes fans who came to an open training session on Thursday.

“It is for this reason that we are not going to have a minute’s silence or a minute’s applause because we still have hope.”

According to her, “I was molested between ages of 7 and 11, raped twice, battled depression almost half her life, dealt with post-partum depression, lost 4 persons in a space of 1 year 5 month”.

Follow her story below;

Let me introduce you to the 32-year-old who was molested between ages of 7 and 11, raped twice, battled depression almost half her life, dealt with post-partum depression, lost 4 persons in a space of 1yr 5 months, and now lives with…#diaryofadamagedAfricangirl #DADAG #Thread

May it is time we finally talk about African parents and their toxic ways of bringing up kids…sadly its a circle now and I hope to God it ends now! #diaryOfAdamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

We had this tradition back then, my eldest brother would take us all to the beach on Sunday after Church. I enjoyed those times as it made me feel closer to my family until he decided to invite one of his friends to the beach with us. #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

On this particular day, I change into something comfortable as usual and headed for the waters, he was right in there with me. As the waters got stronger, he tried to act like he was trying to save me and held onto me from behind.#DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

In no time, I felt his hands on my barely there boobs…here was a man I saw as ‘uncle’ touching me inappropriately. I knew this was wrong, but I could not say a word, maybe out of shame or pity.. I kept quiet as this man molested me right there #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

No one knew anything until last year when I finally opened up to my folks and another elder brother in our block back then…I learnt from him that this ‘uncle’ was accused of doing such to many other kids and he passed a few years ago #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

You’d think this was it right? if only I knew was just the beginning of my journey into abuse, molestation, violence and what not. Fast-forward to a few years later, I and a couple of block kids headed out for Christmas day greetings.. #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

We arrive at this ‘uncle’s’ house and out of all the kids there, he picked me. I felt happy, I felt special…he picked me out of all the cool kids around…yeah, I grew up not having so many friends, we were practically not allowed out #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

We were only allowed outside the side around 4pm, when dad comes home and it was always just outside our flat not downstairs. So from the time we return from school till dad arrives, we were only allowed to peep out the window and #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

Watch other kids play or listen to them while Jesus was being forced on us via the Christian music being played from our old cassette player in the sitting room. I could sing every Don Meon record word for word back then….yup! sHow about #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

The TV some would ask, yeah, programmes came on around 4 then, so you had the option of watching tv or sitting outside the house with dad…oh how I miss the multi-colored interlude that would first appear back then #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

So anyways getting the opportunity to go downstairs and be seen was always a big deal…and then he chose me and asked that I sit on his laps, I did and yeah…rest is history….At barely 11, I had been molested twice by men people around trusted and no I could not tell anyone…I come from a home where talking about your feelings or finding anyone to do it with IS alien…so no, no one to talk to…you just must do as you are told and never ask questions
#DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

Somehow I moved on with life and had now grown into a young person filled with massive low self-esteem. I somehow struggled to live with this, masking it with brilliance in my academics and a sharp mouth… #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

I had a comeback for every time I was told you ‘you are so ugly or see how pimples full your face’ or ‘you are so fat’…yeah, I was bullied…at a point, I was being described as this in secondary school…’that fat girl with pimples like boil’ #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

Fast forward to 2004, I came back to Lagos after my secondary school and decided to take up a job as a sales girl while I awaited jamb. For the few months, I worked there, I was on almost all the time molested and assaulted by my boss.
#DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

At some point, he even tried to rape me…I later found out his niece was being abused by one of his friends right there in his house yet he did nothing to stop it. Anyways, with my boss on my neck, constantly making me feel like trash, #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

I met the one who took my virginity via rape. There I was daydreaming of this really cute person who saw me and liked me…he actually did like me and in my head, I was already picturing us living like a family and having kids and all… #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

Minutes later, i sat there begging that we not have sex as I was not ready, you can guess it…it fell on deaf ears and boom Aniette raped me. He came back begging for forgiveness with the story of going to church and all of that shit they say.

200level, I was raped with a knife on my back…as he had his way, I laid still praying that he not mistakenly stab me or I not move too much and have a knife finding its way into my body…I just laid there as numbness took over…

What did this man want, money…I had none, I was a broke student who rarely spoke to people around….but somehow he found his way into my room and raped me….when he was done, I got up, wore my jean and just kept walking…I had no idea where I was headed, I just kept walking until I finally stopped. Then I took a bike to my then BF’s place…he took me to a hospital for God knows what and I stupidly followed as I felt he knew what he was doing…there and there I experienced What someone has now explained to be how abortion is being done…my insides were literally being diced with equipment all in the name of the doctor wanting to clean my insides….I was in massive pain #DiaryOfADamagedAfricanGirl #DADAG

By the time he was done and we headed out, i saw my so called bf walking faster as he did not want people to know we were together, all the ‘I love you’s ‘ and shii,lol..he explained later on he was well known in the area and didn’t want people To see us together….lwkmd….as my friend would say, ‘love kee you there tope.’ university was a blur, I was literally just surviving. I preferred to be in my house all alone, I hated having people around or going to people’s homes.

Feb 2017, I lost my inlaw, April, I lost a pregnancy, same month I lost my job and another in a space of weeks. As if this wasn’t enough, I lost another person, not to death but to the society…as if this wasn’t enough, may 2018 I lost another person to cancer…So why didnt she see a therapist?
