A lady has narrated a very troubling encounter she had with SARS officers who harassed her in Port Harcourt.

Olorogun Mabel Peters said she woke up sick and went to get drugs but by the time she got back to her estate, some armed officer approached her and asked for her papers. When they saw that the papers were complete, they asked for her company ID and she explained she doesn’t have it on her at the moment.

They immediately accused her of stealing a car and drove her to the station where they then changed their story and claimed that she is one of the criminals they received a call about. They ended up detaining her and seized her phone.

She went on to accuse one of the officers of sexual harassment while she was in their custody. She said they eventually asked her to pay N100,00 and drove her to an ATM to withdraw the money.

She wrote:

@opetodolapo Today is definitely one of my worst days.. I woke up a bit feverish with slight headache so I cancelled my activities for the day, at about 6:30pm I decided to go get drugs,because my condition seemed to be getting serious and also get pizza for my mum just 7mins drive away from my estate..

On getting back to my estate, a blue Prado jeep stopped right in front of me and some armed men on uniform came out asking me to park for a search, I obliged, they went through all the vehicle papers and drivers license etc very much complete..

The next question I was asked was they needed to see my company Id ,I tried to explain to them I didn’t have it on me because I just drove out to get pizza from the next bus stop and they said I was under arrest for stealing a vehicle and I couldn’t give them an ID of where I work, I obliged and we drove to their station and the whole story changed..

One of the officers made a phone call and he said I was among the criminals they received a call about.. I tried to beg, I even showed proof of the medications I got, they gave me a paper to make a statement,in the process they took my phones from me and started going through my phone, from my chats call logs down to my bank mails etc….

After spending 2hrs with them they demanded for a sum of 2million naira as my bail,for a crime I do not know.. This is pure wickedness and evil… I never stole, robbed, violated any rules etc… We finally came to an agreement after keeping me hostage from 6pm till 12am that I should pay them 100,000naira..

One of the officers even approached me trying to sexually harass me!! This same men didn’t even mind the time they comfortably drove me to an ATM machine so I could make a withdrawal for them… These men are criminals!!

I was granted bail by 1:30am after spending 7good hours… Someone’s hard earn money This Is totally unacceptable, Are you guys not meant to be protecting lives ? Why will you extort someone of their hard earn sweat!! I thought SARS had ended… (officers names are : officer Matt, Emma, security, Friday)

2 women nabbed after stealing s*x toys from adult shop

2 women have been charged with stealing sex toys – high-end vibrators from the Libido adult store in Northbridge, Australia over the weekend.

Police alleged two women removed packaging before concealing the items worth $600 in their clothing during the theft at the James Street store, about 12.10am on Sunday.

Police earlier released CCTV images of three women who they believed could help with their investigation.

Libido owner Garry Smith said on average $2500 worth of goods were stolen from the shop every six months.

But, with the store boasting high-quality security cameras, any prospective thief should heed Smith’s warning.

“Without exception we will seek prosecution for every theft,” he said.

“The message is, don’t do it.”

A lady who escaped mishap which happened at her shop in Asaba, Delta state – has taken to social media to thank God especially at this ‘crucial’ time of the year.

It was gathered that a speeding driver ran a Toyota Venza car into her shop on Monday, November 12, after losing control of the vehicle.

The impact of the accident was great that the car destroyed the shop and almost all the goods inside. The front part of the vehicle was also damaged in the process.

My husband and I live in separate homes. I have my own place. And we share one. Keeping my place is the best decision ever.

For those that keep asking, “ArE YaLL SePeRaTeD?” No. We aren’t. We live together. We share one home together. I take a few days out of the week to sleep at MY place because we both appreciate the peace and a break. How is this not a simple?

Also, we share a son. So I get a good nights sleep without my son a few times a week and so does he. This works for our work schedule and daily life. It’s kinda nice cause it feels like we’re still dating sometimes. He’s not a cheater, so you can dead that topic. We just living.

I have owned my condo since I was 20. We just got our shared home in July. We work. That’s how in this economy. I feel like everyone can do this. Not everyone is cohabiting to survive.

Young Facebook slay queen dies one week after she was involved in an accident

A popular Facebook ‘slay queen’ identified as Hikma Hussein, also known as Kim Red, passed away after she was involved in a car accident about a week ago.

Kim Red is well known on a Facebook page, Inna Real Life, and she’s been eulogized by some of her social media friends.

Taking to her personal Facebook profile, some of her internet friends took to the platform to pay tribute.

A friend of the Hikma, took to Facebook and wrote, “Awwww you maybe the reason my day went bad may Allah keep you and forgive you all your sins. Rest in perfect peace Hikma Hussein”.

Another friend, Aweni Assansure Lms, mourned the lady with these words, “Oooh Just wake up to hear that my sister is gone ooh god why so soon Hikma Hussein only Allah no the best. Nigerian Afrofusion artiste, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, says he can go shirtless if he sees someone wearing the same shirt he is wearing at an event.

In an interview with Africa’s Finest, a fashion magazine by Guaranty Trust Bank, the ‘soke’ singer said he is already working on his own fashion brand.

“I try to do what makes me feel like I’m swaggy, it could be a named brand or not. It just has to make me feel good. It just has to be different. For me, if it’s not different, then I don’t feel good,” he responded when asked to describe his style.

“I could go somewhere wearing a shirt, and if I see someone wearing the same shirt, I’ll take it off and just be shirtless!

“I’m working on it as we speak. It’s my ‘merch’ from my tours but the design is really giving out what I would wear. If I were to wear what I’m wearing right now, It would be all Burna Boy, it would be all my design. That’s basically it! It would be my designs on clothes that I like. I’d describe it as ‘Reckless & Sweet’.”

Listing designers he would love to collaborate with, the artiste who says his love for comic books inspired his stage name, mentioned Virgil Abloh, Off-white and Louis Vuitton.

Speaking on the inspiration behind his music genre, Burna Boy said:

“I had a lot of musical influence growing up, from my grandfather’s highlife and afrobeat collection to my dad who gave me my first reggae CD. That’s why I call my genre Afro-Fusion, it’s a concoction of different elements of sound.”

A computer science graduate of the University of Jos, Amos Lucky, paraded alongside nine other suspected cult group members on Wednesday said he was lured into cultism in University, and by a final year law student of the institution, NAN reports.

Mr Lucky, 25, said he belonged to the secret cult group called Black Axe, and paid N3000 per semester as due to the leader of the group, whom he called Zambruta.

The suspect spoke while they were paraded at the headquarters of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) military task force in Jos.

“I was initiated in 2016. I was invited to a party, when we got there we were taken to the bush around Bauchi Ring Road and beaten. I wanted to leave the cult but I was afraid because if you leave and they see you on the street they will beat you. They don’t really kill but they will beat you,” Mr Lucky said.

Spokesperson of OPSH, Adam Umar, an army major, said the suspects were arrested during a raid on criminal hideouts in the Jos metropolis.

According to Mr Umar, the suspects had been terrorising people in Jos.

“OPSH raided some criminal hideouts of some gangs and cultists leading to the arrest of some of their members who are responsible for insecurity being experienced across the joint operational areas.

“Specifically, on October 21, 2018, six cult members were arrested and preliminary investigation led to the arrest of four others who have been profiled, cross-examined and their statement obtained.

“Analysis of the revelation from arrested group members revealed that there are five distinct cult groups operating in Jos under various appellations as Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM), aka Black Axe; Supreme Viking, aka Baggar/Arrow; Aiye Buccaneers and Tin Gold, aka Blue Bird, ” Mr Umar said.

The spokesperson said OPSH remained resolute to deal with any form of criminality that may cause insecurity in the state.

“OPSH therefore wishes to reiterated that it would remain resolute to decisively deal with all criminal acts that are inimical to peaceful co-existence on the Plateau and hereby assures residents of their safety,” he said.

A 35-year-old school teacher identified as Lori Tuoyo, has revealed that he doesn’t know what pushed him into trying to defile his 6-year-old female student after school hours, on Friday, in Jakpa/Ekpan, Delta State.

According to activist Israel Joe, the suspect had taken the girl to an empty classroom, undressed her, closed her mouth, removed his trouser and was already making efforts to penetrate her, when he heard some movements.

He then quickly dressed up and told the student, who had already been injured around her vagina, not tell anyone what had happened. However, the victim told her sister, who then reported to their mom and the school authority was informed.

When interrogated, Tuoyo admitted to the crime, but said he didn’t know what came over him. The DPO of Ekpan police division was subsequently notified and the teacher was arrested.

However, his mother quickly rushed to the police station to beg for mercy, while revealing that Tuoyo had been battling with rape issues for long and had been taken to multiple prayer houses for deliverance to no avail

She was, however, assured that her son will be thoroughly delivered when he gets to at the Okere High Prison.

Professional Instagram Ranter, Oyemykke has dropped a stinker on Tunde Ednut,for mocking him for allegedly being bounced at Wande Coal’s concert, on Sunday, in London.

According to the media personality, Tundeednut was deported from the U.K after an ill-fated “L’Egbegbe” movement, as he was caught fraudulently trying to obtain an iPhone 5 in Peckham.

Oyemykke opined that being bounced from a concert is far better than being bounced from the U.K for stealing, while adding that Tunde is currently an illegal immigrant in the U.S.

Priest dies in ghastly accident after marking a year of priesthood

Rev. Fr Hosea Jatau Titus, the Assistant Parish Priest of Queen of Apostles Catholic Church Shinge, Lafia, has been reported dead.

He lost his life, on Tuesday, in a fatal auto crash along the Kwandere – Keffi road, while returning from a mass.

According to an eyewitness, the priest had lost control of his car and rammed into a bridge along the road. His death came, just two days after celebrating one year of priesthood.

33 year old Nino Mbatha, is reported to have handed in part of a human leg and a hand to police at the station – this development led to an investigation that uncovered more remains in a nearby house.

Officers were then led to a woman’s mutilated body under some rocks in Estcourt, South Africa. Mbatha, Lungisani Magubane, 31, and Khayelihle Lamula, 33, have been charged with the murder of 24-year-old mum Zanele Hlatshwayo.

Mbatha, who is also said to be a traditional healer, has also been charged with “handling human tissue”.

Prosecutors say Magubane and Lamula went to Mbatha for a good luck charm and he told them the ancestors insisted that blood needed to be spilled.

Lamula then found Zanele drunk and she agreed to get into his car, unaware that he planned to use her for rituals. The Pietermaritzburg High Court heard that Lamula then picked up Magubane and Mbatha and drove them all to a secluded spot where Mbatha killed the mum and ate parts of her body.

All three suspects have pleaded not guilty to all counts.

The woman’s body was found in August 2017 after one of the suspects reportedly led community members and police to where it was hidden. Police spokeswoman Colonel Thembeka Mbheke said the suspects were arrested after Mbatha walked into the Estcourt station with the human leg.

She said:

When he was questioned, he produced part of a human leg and a hand. Further investigation led police to a house where they were met with a foul smell, and more human remains were found.

A second suspect was also arrested in Estcourt and a third in the Amangwe area. More body parts were found.

A fourth suspect Sithembiso Sithole, 31 was arrested and charged, but reportedly killed himself in jail awaiting trial.

Teacher trying to rape 6-year-old girl in Warri school gets arrested

A 35-year-old man has reportedly been arrested for allegedly trying to rape a 6-year-old pupil in a school in Warri, Delta state.

According to reports, the suspect identified as Lori Tuoyo, a teacher in a private school in Jakpa/Ekpan area, attempted to defile the little girl after luring her into an empty classroom.

The suspect couldn’t complete the criminal act after being interrupted by some noises – he left the pupil with little injury around her private part after failing to penetrate.

Lori was immediately arrested after the police were notified of his action.

One Israel Joe, who initiated the suspect’s arrest, wrote;

Lori Tuoyo. He teaches in a particular private school Jakpa/Ekpan area 35 years of age. At the close of school on Friday when the environment was getting mute, he called a little girl of 6 years old to an empty classroom. He undressed the child and also removed his trouser.

For some minutes, he made all effort to penetrate the little child with his manhood closing the mouth of the child. Suddenly he heard some sounds and quickly rearranged himself and told the child she must not tell anyone what had happened.

With little injury and pain on the little girl, she told her sister who reported to their mother and drew the attention of the school authority. According to his own part of the story, he admitted but said he didn’t know what came over him. He also told me he had not yet penetrated before he heard sounds. We took the child for medical checkup and God so kind only injury around her private part was diagnose.

I called the attention of the DPO Ekpan division who in less than five minutes dispatched policemen to where I held him. Thank you progressive DPO. The mother who quickly rushed to the police station confirmed his attitude and was seriously appealing. According to her, she said they have been battling with him over it from one spiritual house to the other but thinking he has been delivered. My response was simple… “Madam, his total deliverance will be done at Okere High Prison”.

Eko Atlantic replies Davido

Earlier today, Davido called out Eko Atlantic after they denied his reequest to host his December concert at the venue.

Taking to his page earlier today, Davido wrote: “So my show this December at eko Atlantic Was not approved … I wonder why ? Hmmm ANYWAYS ANNOUNCING A NEW VENUE SOON!! ITS A DIRTY GAME BUT I CANT BE STOPPED!! ??????”

“Nah the highest dem fit do be that ! I I WILL SUPPORT WHO I WANT TO SUPPORT AND WILL NOT SWITCH SIDES OVER A F-CKING VENUE !! ITS F-CK EM! DEC 27TH CITY OF DAVID CONCERT STILL ON! ANNOUNCING VENUE SOON! LOVE YALL ❤️❤️??????”

In response, Eko Atlantic has sent out a press statement to media houses. Read below:

It has been brought to our attention that we have allegedly denied the musician Davido’s request to use Eko Atlantic City for his upcoming concert.

We received this request on November 8 to which we responded for clarification and details about the event on November 9. We are yet to receive the requested information so, the notion that we declined his request is false and to imply we are politically motivated is false.

Some of the additional information requested was pertaining to security provisions and Eko Atlantic City is not an event center and rather a city with existing residents and businesses. In light of this, we have strict rules and regulations when it comes to events and activities within the city, which require due process.

Eko Atlantic City takes the safety and security of the visitors to the city very seriously. We expect the same safety and security measures from event organizers who hold events in Eko Atlantic City. Any event within the city requires a proper level of planning, safety, and security from event organizers.

As a final note, Davido and some upcoming artists shot a video in Eko Atlantic earlier this year, which we welcomed, as we believe in the development of our entertainment industry in Nigeria as seen on our social media pages.
